Loved this place! The lobby lounge has a great vibe, and the rooms are comfortable with a surprisingly spacious bathroom and shower — a real plus, since many Paris hotels have tiny ones. I’ll definitely be staying here again next year.

The location was great. The area was very live. Close to metro station.
The room was clean but the cleaners didn’t change the sheets even when they saw a big stain on them. I had to call the receptionist and ask them. I asked for tea and one of the receptionist, Celia was very rude and said you can’t have more than 2 tea bags. Overal it was a good experience but definetly need improvement.

Great Hotel. I’ve stayed here a couple of times. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great service and wonderful breakfast. The only thing that it is missing is more plugs in the room and in the bathroom there are zero plugs.

Reception area was clean and vibrant with friendly staff, great to have the tennis on for Wimbledon and we loved the Photo Booth, lovely touch.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were a little tired but the bed comfortable. Loved being able to get cold water from the water fountain in the corridor outside the room.

I paid for a premium room with balcony but on the first night they said that the premium room wasn’t available and had to do standard the first night and change in the morning. They tried to compensate us with a free breakfast, which we were not interested in. Apart from that it was a good hotel in a great location but building works outside spoiled the experience a little bit.

My major complaint about this property is the bathtub. It is very difficult to get in and out of. It is very high and there are no grabber bars. It literally took me 10 minutes to figure out how I would manage to get out without falling in a wet tub.

Excellent value quiet hotel. We are a family of 4 staying in Paris for 3 nights after Disneyland. Even though it was the weekend there was no street noise. The hotel also has cold filtered and sparking water available in the halls for your water bottle, nice touch! Breakfast was lovely and kids under 12 are free :-) would stay again.

Given the business I am in, the hotel location is quite convenient. Additionally, the place looks safe and relatively quiet with dinning options all around. Also, metro stations are close.
The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendy.

Really nice hotel in Paris. Great location! Pretty good service (unfortunately, we had to wait a while to check in because a new receptionist was at the desk and our room wasn’t quite ready). Decent size room for Paris standards. Appreciated having a room overlooking the farm animals. One drawback is that we could hear our neighbors both in the hallway and from the room above us…soundproofing wasn’t so good. Despite that, we would probably stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I booked this property for my colleague, and he got infested with bedbugs while staying here. And yet, getting BEDBUGS was not the worst part of his stay at this property. I prepaid for the room through Expedia, but when he got there they insisted he had to pay for the room (again) in order to check in. I later followed up to ask that they refund him (because we had paid twice for the room), and had to waste hours on the phone talking to people who refused to admit they had taken the cost of the room from us twice. I finally had to spend more hours asking Expedia to intervene, and it took multiple phone calls and followups -- the hotel wouldn't even answer Expedia's calls about their double-billing, and sent contradictory instructions on how to resolve it each time. We eventually did get the money for this disgusting, infested hotel back, but it took months and hours of hounding them. Do not stay here for because of the quality of the hotel, and because of their horrible customer service.

Great hotel, fantastic breakfast

We stayed for just one night. Great location, really close to metro Edgar Quinet. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. There are a few sex shops in the road, but it really doesn't feel seedy despite that, but if you're very sensitive to that kind of thing then this location might not be for you.
The hotel is really modern with funky decor and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was superb. Our 6 year old loved the make- your- own pancake machine and the freshly pressed orange juice machine. Great quality food and a really hearty breakfast that set us up for a busy day of sightseeing. We'd definitely stay here again.

The unique atmosphere of being in the historical and yet still active theater district of Paris is an experience not to be missed. This hotel's location is perfectly situated ss a hub for exploring the rest of what Paris has to offer. I'd advise upon check-in to fully understand the dining options privided and not at the hotel itself. The immediate area though is rich with wonderful alternatives. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and realistic about transportation availabilities. I learned that taxis are a premium during weekday mornings and Uber may not always be available as well. Get to know the excellent train and bus systems, that are easily accessed nearby. They are part of the experience of Paris and its surrounding areas as well.

Lovely hotel, great location the patisserie’s and cafes around this area are brilliant. The metro is very close and great access to everything. We also walked to Eiffel Tower which took 40 minutes but was lovely to see everything on the way. Staff were lovely and friendly, great place.

We really enjoyed staying here! Although the area is bustling even in the later hours, the noise didn’t filter up to the room at all. Within short walks of a couple of metro stops, as well as just a few blocks from Montparnasse station, making the area very accessible to wherever you need to go. Short walks to several awesome restaurants or the Monoprix store that is open late for any last minute needs you might have. Great place to stay in Paris!

I stayed for almost two weeks in this hotel in early January 2023.This is my second time in this hotel. I love the convenience and the proximity to all kinds of little specialty stores around it, not to mention the dozens upon dozens food options just steps away. Location of hotel is great as it’s close to the train station and bus loop! I wouldn’t say the air conditioning was working 100 % but the front desk says that it was? Windows have been updated so you hear no noise from the busy street. Over all a good stay! :)

This property is in a great location, walkable to many of the tourist attractions and plenty of food in the surrounding areas. The downside of this hotel is the bedroom, the showers are extremely small and the toilets are very high up. The bed did not have a mattress, it was more of a mattress pad on a box spring, which made our stay unpleasant and not refreshing after a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel location is great. Montparnasse is one of the best areas in paris. Nice and iconic cafes around.
Hotel staff is friendly, check in / check out truly comfortable.
However, have been to better Mercure 4* in Paris. No shampoo, body lotion or hair conditioner available here in the bathroom. It may be available upon request, not sure, never tried, just used my travel set :) Sleep quality is OK.

1. There is no business center. I asked if I can print my boarding passes and the Front Desk agent said I could email the boarding passes to a generic hotel email address. That’s what I did but the agent said they never received the email. Thinking about it afterwards that was never a good idea to begin with emailing my boarding pass with personal information.

2. When I checked it the Front Desk agent said that my reservation included breakfast which I questioned my confirmation did not say that. I double checked again with the Front Desk and again they said that breakfast is included. At the end when checking out come to find that I was right and that my reservation did not include breakfast. So I had to pay out of pocket.

With only 2 to service 6 floors and when most of the time only 1 was working - there were long delays - but the stairs were an option except when you have luggage. The shower is poorly designed as you cannot use it on the attachment as the water sprays onto the floor - so hand holding is required

Deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel très proche de la gare. Au réveil une punaise de lit sur l’oreiller, mentionné le problème au personnel de l’accueil qui semblait déjà être au courant ? Il a promis de faire un geste commercial mais rien.... pour un 4 étoiles et 450 euros les 2 chambres c’est abusé ! Paroi de douche qui fuit, pas de prises dans la salle de bains, porte de chambre qui ferme mal, odeur d’égouts au premier étage, oranges pourries dans la machine à jus frais etc etc... désolée Mercure mais vraiment votre standard est loin d’être satisfaisant

I very much enjoyed the Hotel's consciouness regarding electricity in the guest room. The room key must be inserted to a receptival in order for all things electrical to turn on. Security with elevator use worked the same way. First time I have seen that.

The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful. The hotel was well located near several metro stops and plenty of places to eat or pickup a few things. Our second night when we got back from the hotel, we were greeted with 2 glasses of champagne and a plate of sweets. We casually mentioned on check in that it was our first time in Paris and the young hotel clerk, Anna I believe, remembered and made our stay extra special. Overall, a good hotel and I would stay again. Also, higher floors are very quiet (a good thing) and we could see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony of our room.
