The location was close to train stations and the heart of Montparnasse. Staff were helpful, our room was clean, bed comfortable but room very small and bathroom extra small. For the night we stayed prices were very high so not value for money.

Great location, adequate hotel!

Great location right across the road from the charming rue Daguerre. Neighbourhood isn't touristy but has plenty of restaurants, cafés, shopping etc. Hotel was adequate but perfectly fine for the price.

“Superior” rooms are not superior. Bed uncomfortable. Top floor room was awfully hot. Nice staff, good 24h hour open reception. Tiny elevator but at least there was one. Reasonably priced but we would not stay again.

The location is pretty good if you want to take train and bus..but the room is too small..and the stairs is dark too.....hallways is the worse...anyways..the receptionist are very kind...they help me when i need help or ask something.

Reasonable budget hotel in soso location

I stayed several days. Regarding local area, nothing of interest but metro is a few blocks away and bus stop also near so easy to go somewhere. Police station nearby on avenue du Maine.
Lots of people I have to say a bit unsavoury lined up in morning.
I came back about 10:45 pm one night and walk from metro I felt slightly uneasy. Very quiet, most places seemed closed.

My rooms were fine. I had 2 rooms during my stay due separate bookings. Room attendants are efficient and helpful.
Hotel and rooms not especially attractive but certainly okay.
Buffet breakfast was value for money.
Has a lift, small, but after experiencing no lift in Paris, it was very welcome.

Reception staff were all very efficient and helpful.

Summary okay if you get a good rate and are on budget.
Perhaps not so good for young women who like to be out late.

Get what you payed for.

This was an interesting hote experience. My first trip to Paris and had to learn how to get around the city. Hotel was a good 15 minute walk from both local metro stops. Without luggage was fine, but carrying my things to and from on the first and last day became a hassle. Also hotel is very strict on saving energy. The hallways were pitch black at night, elevator was tiny and cramp, breakfast wasn’t much, and to top things off there’s a nice city tax fee when you check out. I think the worse part of my stay was the fire alarm that went off early in the morning and took minutes for hotel staff to figure out. Initially grabbed all my things thinking it was a real alarm. I was so ready to check out after a day or two, but just decided to accept the hotel for what it was. A place to rest after a long day of sight seeing. My next visit to France I’ll defintely fork up more cash for a better stay.

Best value for money

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary.

We've travelled quite a bit and have always wanted to visit Paris so was a bit of a last minute thing, so we opted for staying at an affordable hotel that provided value for money.

We spent most of the time in Paris outside of the hotel, it was only really used as a place to sleep and freshen up, so for what this hotel was advertised as it met our requirements and expectations.

There weren't too many bad points, only that we didn't have air con which would have come in handy after walking around all day.

The good points far outweighed the bad, daily housekeeping was to the expected standard, all receptionists were multi lingual, very approachable and helpful.

We had to get a train from Montparnasse station on the morning of check out which meant a simple 10 minute walk from the hotel so the location was very good for that. Furthermore, there were plenty of metro stops within walking distance when venturing to other parts of the city.

All in all, we got what we paid for and if we were ever to stay in Paris again I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Comfortable Hotel

It's close to the Gare Montparnasse and the train and airport busses. It's a couple of doors away from National Police Headquarters so it is very safe. It's on Subway line #4 and easy to get around town and there are many restaurants nearby. Just up the street is the tallest building in Paris the Tour Montparnasse and the largest shopping mall Galleries Lafayette. It's 8 blocks from the entrance to the Catacombs in Paris. The rooms are not large but they are cleaned daily and they have been renovated since my last stay. The price was around $70.00 a room and I stayed for 5 nights. If you are sightseeing all day and just need a place to sleep at night it is well worth it. I have stayed here twice and will stay again.

Highly recommended for a budget traveller.

This was a very good option for a budget-conscious traveller. The hotel isn't anything fancy but it's clean and well located. It's in a quieter, more residential part of Paris but close to several metro stops, so it's very easy to get to tourist attractions.

Great affordable hotel!

We had a great experience here! Staff were very helpful and spoke great English. So close to the Denfert-Rochereau metro station which made getting everywhere in Paris very simple. Also the station where the train from CDG and the bus from Orly airport comes to. Rue Daguerre is just across the street with tons of restaurants, grocery stores, wine stores, etc. The fridge in the room is also very convenient.

Only issue was our safe in the room did not work, but the staff let us put our valuables in the safe at the front desk.

3 days without cleaning my room and boiling water.

I stayed 3 night in the hotel and my room has never been cleant. Shower water was only one option: boiling. The service told me that he could do nothing. It was fIxed the second day. TV going blank after 15mn average. Wifi was included but not available in rooms for 2 days.
Depending on the staff at front desk you can get support or not.
Location is perfect.

Love the 14th Arrondissement. This hotel is across from Rue Daguerre and also Raymond Losserand...both interesting streets to walk. The staff were very friendly, we had a great room in the back which had good light and ventilation. The only negatives were the hallway was really dingy although there seemed to be renovation going on.
And the hairdryer in our bathroom did not work. Internet does not work in the rooms. The price was very good. I would stay there again.

Si l'accueil est parfait (le personnel se veut être aux petits soins de ses clients et n'hésite pas à proposer des solutions dès qu'un problème surgit), la vétusté de l'immeuble ne disparaît pas autant : les chambres ne sont absolument pas insonorisées et leur configuration spéciale, construites tel un tetris, laisse \"profiter\" des conversations des voisins et des bruits attachés aux salles d'eau. Dommage car la proximité de la gare Montparnasse est un atout considérable

Service déplorable, aucune flexibilité, l’accueil très sympathique mais c’est tout. Très mal insonorisé, que ce soit les voisins de chambre ou la rue, pas de volets au chambre, rideau trop étroit pour cacher le soleil du matin. De plus bcp de voyageurs de la gare y dorment et partent très tôt (5:30) sans retenir les portes qui claquent et qui réveillent tout le monde.
Le matelas était inconfortable au possible, les éclairages blancs ou jaunes non assortis et bcp trop forts.
Passez votre chemin !!!

Hôtel avenant et correct, il y a juste quelque petits points à revoir douche est trop étroite, et surtout manque support douchette.
Ai aussi demandé une télécommande pour la TV par trois fois et ne l'ai jamais vu dommage, ça aurait été plus pratique.
Par contre le personnel sympathique et les chambres sont propres et petit déjeuner est bien.

Fenster zum Hof, der sehr schmutzig ist, überall Zigarettenkippen!
Das winzige Badezimmer ist eine Zumutung!
So schmal, dass man sich nicht auf die Toilette setzen kann, die Knie stoßen gegen die Wand! Die Dusche erreicht man nur, indem man über die Toilette klettert!
Sehr gefährlich da keine Haltegriffe!
Duschkopf sehr verkalkt, Schimmel in den Fugen!
Zimmerpreis völlig überzogen, die Hälfte wäre noch zuviel.
Sehr enttäuschend!
Unsere Reklamation stieß auf taube Ohren.
Keine Nachbesserung, Reinigung, oder Zimmerwechsel möglich, obwohl im Internet noch Zimmer zur Verfügung standen.

Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit dans cet hôtel car j'avais besoin d'être tôt le lendemain à la gare Montparnasse. Pour ça, la localisation de l'hôtel est bien.
S'agissant de la chambre, literie correcte et propre. Le gros point noir est le manque d'insonorisation. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir et dans les autres chambres.

Accueil déplorable, on ne vous regarde même pas !
Salle de bain irréelle, on peut se brosser les dents en étant sur les toilettes et en même temps dans la douche. Salle de bain conçue pour personne de moins d'1m50. Pas de papier toilette, obligé de réclamer. Panne d'ascenseur, sympa quand vous êtes au 5ème.

Jamais la même personne à la réception (3nuits). Des couacs à l'encaissement ils voulaient encaisser 2x.... La bonne blague. Le réceptionniste ne connaissait pas le sens du mot \"acquitté\" ce qui fait qu'aujourd'hui encore je n'ai pas de facture.
Le petit déjeuner n'est jamais débarrassé ce qui fait que les gens poussent les assiettes sales pour s'installer....
Ces gens ne connaissent rien à l'hôtellerie !

J’ai effectué une demande d’early check/in nous sommes arrivés à 12h pour une chambre normalement prête à 14h. La jeune à l’accueil nous a dit que la chambre n’était pas prête et c’est tout. Elle nous a même pas proposé de s'asseoir, boire quelque chose ou déposer tous nos bagages. Nous avons dû demander si nous pouvions laisser les bagages en attendant la chambre. Elle nous a juste dit de les mettre sous un meuble … le buffet du petit déjeuner. (Les viennoiseries et le pain sont restés toute la journée sur ce buffet)
Bref, en voyant le planning des réservations (très faible taux d’occupation) on aurait quand même pu avoir une chambre comme demandé sachant qu’en plus je l’avais demandé moyennant des frais.
Je ne recommande pas.

De kamer was misschien een beetje klein, maar je bent er dan ook gewoon voor de stad zelf. De 11 m2 die we hadden was dan wel weer netjes ingericht en zag er goed uit! Verder was de doucheslang een beetje kapot, maar dat ben ik wel gewend bij de meeste hotels. De medewerkers waren erg behulpzaam en super chill. Zou er nog wel een keer kunnen slapen

La chambre était proche de l'accueil et on entendait bien l'accueil, le reste est très bien, propre, confortable, pas de bruit de rue, petit dej correct. et le restaurant Marocain de l'angle bd du maine et rue de l'hôtel est un vrai régal.

Experience Exécrable et hallucinante

Exécrable ! Bien que le séjour soit entierement payé, une caution supérieure au prix des chambres est demandée à a l'arrivée sans que cela est ete indiqué auparavant. Habituée aux deplacemntts professionnels hebdomadaires sur Paris cest pour moi une première de devoir laisser une caution pour un hôtel !
En absence de 270 euros disponibles à 22h30 et une carte bancaire bloquée (aie aie journée shopping) ... les chambres ne sont pas livrées malgre la proposition de laisser papier identité avec un cheque et de faire etat des lieux le lendemain pour prouver bonne foi et bonne éducation de mes enfants ...
Aucun remboursement accepté et aucun moyen de contacterla direction ni le soir ni de reponse le lendemain.
MAIS RESTONS POSITIF ! Ouf ce n'était pas personnel ! Je nai pas une sale tête ! Un autre couple ayant déjà payé leur chambre a ete refoulé en meme temps que moi pour la même raison...
2eme ouf ! En cette periode covid, un autre hotel ayant chambre libre nous a dépanné en urgence avec mes 2 ados. Avec le sourire malgre l'heure d'arrivée tardive ... et sans caution ! Comme un hotel quoi !

J'avais connu cet hotel plusieurs fois sans problème et envisagé de le garder dans mes listes favoris. Il a changé et je crois que jai changé d'avis !

Je rentrais du Maroc après avoir cherche pendant de nombreux jours un billet d avion pour retourner en France, d avoir pu trouve cet hôtel près de la gare Montparnasse pour rentrer fut un réel soulagement. L accueil fut sympathique. Et se trouver ainsi dans Paris au calme fut très agréable

Arrivé le mercredi soir, l'acceuil s'est bien passé, l'hôtel demande une cotion de 90€. Le hall d'acceuil est bien, le reste de l'hôtel est en revanche un peu vetuste, mais prore. La chambre est de taille correcte, le lit est à ressort pas super. Il y a une petite tv. Le lendemain la personne à l'acceuil accepte de garder ma valise pour la journée.

Arrivant tard, on se rend compte que notre chambre a été céder à une autre personne et on était obligé de passer la nuit dans une chambre avec un lit tout petit. C’est pas du tout professionnel je vais jamais le recommandé

Overall a nice experience, service was good and the room was clean. The room was insanely hot due to the recent heat wave and the electric fan did close to nothing.
