friendly and helpful staffs, nice breakfast, location convenient enough for traveling to the city center. Maybe the only complaint is the parking space is very challenging for a SUV-size Vehicle, but that's expected when you plan to travel to Paris.

What I liked was the proximity to the train station - that's why I picked it.

Extra towels would have been nice, but it's no big deal.

The plug situation was crazy-stupid! There were some plugs by the bed, but they were blocked by the headboard! Locals with Euro-plugs won't have any issues, but travelers with chunky converters are out of luck. There were a few other plugs across the room set high on the wall, so your items are dangling by their cords.

Lovely hotel, shame about the breakfast set up!

We are a family of 5 & stayed at the hotel for our trip to Paris. Location was good, near to Montparnasse that had lots of little cafes & restaurants. A short walk to the Montparnasse main station where we were able to get the metro to various points in Paris. Hotel & room clean. Staff friendly & helpful, although no designated reception/check in. Our main issue was the breakfast set up. It was literally like a cattle market! No where to sit, no organisation, when you did get a table, it took forever to get it cleaned. Queuing for a clean plate/juice glass/coffee mug. Asked for a bowl so my son could have some cereal to be told there wasn’t any!! I saw a man eating cereal out of a mug!! That was our 1 & only attempt at breakfast as it was just too stressful with 3 children. We ate out the other 3 mornings.

Overall a good experience

Overall it was a good hotel, the location was good and near to bus stop and 5 mins to train stations. The hotel staff were also nice and helpful specifically the staff on the reception either it’s day or night.
The rooms were very small for the price which we paid and the breakfast was very basic.

Extremely budget hotel - more 2* rather than 3*

The hotel lacks basic facilities in the room, for example no kettle or iron, no water bottles/ disposable slippers available. However, water was available in the foyer area downstairs. The twin room was very small and the single beds were extremely small and suitable for a small child. I am a petite female and I rolled off the bed twice. Cleanliness was average, there was dust flying around which triggered my allergies. The pillows, duvet and towels were very thin and worn.

If it had been €80 cheaper per night it would have been ok I guess, but at €210 per night it was way overpriced. The basics were there but the beds were cheap and ultra narrow, there was no luggage rack, no security measures to keep your door closed when you are sleeping (a chain for example), there were no towel racks (just two hooks on the wall), there were only two tinny paper cups and no real cups, the shower doors were full of gaps guaranteeing a major flooding in the bathroom when you showered, the plugs in the room did not leave space for your charger, the floor was covered with black carpet and black plastic in the bathroom, so you couldn't tell if it's clean. There were other minor derails but it felt everything was designed to check a box on a checklist rather than being convenient.

Everything we needed for an early morning train

Quick overnight stay. Handy to Montparnasse station for an early morning train. Staff were very friendly - gets very busy around check in time but the staff handled it well. Rooms are on the small side but this is quite typical of Parisian hotels. Wonderful stay, lots of food and markets handy in the local area. Would stay again.

Hidden gem in Montparnasse

Our stay was very good. The staffs are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The metro 13 is just 5 minutes walks and they are restaurants near-by.

The rooms are typical Europeans, smaller than the hotel rooms in Canada, but decent size. The room is very clean and the bedding are so comfy. The area is safe and Gare Montparnasse is just 7 minutes walk. I will go back again to this place if I could visit Paris again.

The hotel is very nice and convenient to transportation. Unfortunately the street in front is under maintenance, which doesn’t give a good impression. I’m not a fan of the absence of a check-in desk as it makes the process messy. In our case, we kept being interrupted by a taxi driver. I was annoyed that the hotel employee did nothing to keep him from disrupting our check-in.

The hotel was opened in may of this year, new building. Upon arrival there was only one person attending the checking in. The receptionist said that they had ran out of room entry cards and he did not know what to do.
In this hotel you need to insert the entry card in a slot in order to turn on the lights and TV in the room. The main problem was that the air condition did not work for the first 4 days of our stay. The reception said that they are fixing it. We found out from the manager on the fourth night that the A/C was working, but in order to use it, we had to keep the window closed, the manager did not know what was the problem, she promised to give us a refund credit and will be reflected on our bill when we check out. On the day of the check out, there was no refund for the four days of sweating at night in a room that felt like a sauna bath. The manger did lie to us about a refund for our discomfort and disappointment.

Ruhig und sicher gelegen und doch sehr gut mit Bus, Metro und Zug angebunden. Man ist sofort in Versailles mit dem Zug (vom Gare Montparnasse) und auch zu den Pariser Sehenswürdigkeiten gelangt man mit einer schnellen Busfahrt. Supermarkt mit Salatbar sowie Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Zimmer war ruhig und das Bett bequem. Wir fanden das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich sehr gut.

El hospedaje cumple con su función. Por su ubicación, algo caro. Desayuno escaso en los platillos salados, solo huevo industrializado, tocino, jamón y quesos. La atención del personal terrible. Sin actitud de servicio. Mi equipaje se retrasó y la línea aérea lo llevó al hotel. Al llegar en la noche preguntamos por él y la persona recepcionista dijo que no sabía nada, que preguntáramos a la mañana siguiente que cambiara el turno. Tuvimos que exigirle mostrara su bodega de equipajes y ahí estaban nuestras 4 maletas grandes. Esa persona no tiene idea ni le interesa ponerse en el lugar de los huéspedes viajeros que no cuentan con su equipaje (ropa, artículos de baño, etc). Se negó a dar su nombre y su actitud pésima daña el prestigio de la empresa hotelera. Salimos 4 huéspedes muy enojados. Deberían capacitar a su personal. París e Ibis no merecen gente sin ganas de trabajar. El incidente fue la madrugada del 15 de Julio de 2025.
