We chose this hotel as it was a 3 minute walk to Montparnasse tgv station. So easy to get there in the morning to catch an early train. Despite being a Friday night and close to lots of bars and restaurants, we found it quiet and comfortable. Quite a small room and tiny 1 person elevator but this is fairly normal in Paris and easy to accomodate

We had an excellent stay at the Arcadie Montparnasse over New Years Eve.

Cant speak highly enough about the staff on reception. They were all really helpful and very friendly.

Room was great. We had no issues with it at all, very clean and was perfect for what we needed.

We only had breakfast on the first morning, as we left early on both other days to beat the queues at Notre Dame and the Louvre. But the breakfast was wonderful, and it set us up perfectly for the day ahead.

Excellent little hotel. Is perfectly located to nearby trains which connect you to any part of the city.

Would definitely stay here again.

It's a great place to stay, but the walls don’t have soundproofing. So, if you are not into sharing and being part of someone else's conversation with your neighbors, maybe it's not for you. But besides the sound the staff is fantastic, and they are very attention to their customers

A small hotel as expected in Paris, our rooms were tastefully decorated and the bathroom in ours was very recently renovated and beautiful. We struggled with our stroller and luggage as the elevator was quite small but we managed. Breakfast left some desire and would recommend going to one of the restaurants in the area instead. Breakfast attendant acted put out by the fact that we were there and there wasn’t much for options.
Overall a great stay but again would just not include breakfast at 12E pp.

I booked this hotel, because Hotels.com listed they had an airport shuttle. This is an untrue fact. Hotel apologized, but I feel this information was misleading by Hotels.com. The breakfast was fine. The room was very clean and the front desk very courteous.

This was a simple but very comfortable hotel. The rooms are a little small and doesn't have air conditioning, but the time of year was perfect to just open the windows. The neighborhood is very nice, not super touristy and has a lot of great restaurants and is easily accessible to everything via the metro or train. Good stay, would recommend.

Impossible sleeping conditions.

We were kept up all night by an extremely loud sound from the air con (both when on and off) that came every 1,5minutes. The reception manager came up and apologised, but said there was nothing to be done, however promised to discuss a compensation with his manager. We recorded the sound, and it lasted throughout the night. Next morning, the new person in reception said that it was not possible to compensate us as we had already paid... I let her know that this was ridiculous, and she then promised the manager would get in touch with me later that day. He never did.

It was right across the Gare de Montparnesse. We had an early morning train so it was very convenient for us to stay in this hotel. The room is small but clean and convenient. You can find everything you need in the room even there was a small fridge, which is really rare in Paris hotels, for putting some soda and water

Really cool hotel on a busy Montparnasse street. Loved the old school vibe of the room, which was bigger than other rooms in the area at this price. Service at the front desk is excellent -- I needed help with parking and an extra key and they took care of everything. Def recommend this hotel, an excellent value for the price.

We were switched from this hotel to nearby Waldorf Montparnasse which was fine.
But the experience was a disaster. I was not offered a room upgrade, the vip amenity was “one non alcoholic drink”, the wifi was not working and I couldn’t even leave my cabin bag for a few hours after check out.
Now all of this, I can barely accept but the big issue came with the noise. It’s impossible to sleep at this hotel, you hear everything outside from the corridors door opening and closing to just everything. I could not sleep until 2am and I woke up at 6am because of the noise. A disaster to avoid. I still blame expedia for having this listed as “VIP”.

Photos are deceiving

while the location being close to the rail/metro station was great, what I expected of the hotel to look like was far from what the photos showed. the room was SO small that the door to get into the room was practically hitting the bed. The 1950's blowdryer looked like the Ghostbusters back gear. There were condoms in the side table drawer, while very hilarious, also made me wonder how thorough they are with cleaning the rooms. Bathroom was very tiny, my elbow would hit the toilet dispenser every time. I don't know how anyone would be able to fit if they were on the fuller side of life.

Small hotel near Gare Montparnasse. Rooms are small but clean. The biggest issue for us was that there was no air conditioning, only a small fan, and in early September in Paris it is still quite warm. We tried opening the window to get some fresh air, but it was much too loud as our room faced a busy street (Ave du Maine). So it was hard to sleep due to the heat. I believe there are rooms that face a central courtyard where it may be possible to open the window, but ours was too loud. So, even though it is an ok hotel, I would not stay there again except for during colder weather.

Room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But no AC when Paris is prone to June heatwaves is a dealbreaker. Our room was uncomfortable when it was only 79 degrees outside, I can only imagine how it would be in the 90s. Also the bath/shower setup is extremely uncomfortable and awkward to use for any non-tiny person.

Hotel very charming and well-located. Although it is small, I felt very welcome and enjoyed my stay. It is very close to the drop-off and pick-up point for the number four line of the bus direct from the airport. I appreciated having a small refrigerator in my room and purchased food and snacks from the Monoprix which is right down the street. There are many ethnic restaurants nearby, and the Metro stop is right outside the door.

Not worth the price!

Stay for two nights paid 184euros a night excluding city taxes. No air-condition was given a fan place on an old table. Pix was nothing like given. Toilet tiles were stain. Lift could only accommodate 1big luggage n 1 pax. I paid cheaper and stay at mecure Montparnasse which is a whole lot better. Too bad we couldn’t get any rooms available there n ended in this super small n sadroom.

Pleasant hotel, good access to attractions

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room, though small, was fine. It had everything necessary and was smart and clean. Our window overlooked a small courtyard so perhaps quieter than one facing the road. Though the view was limited, we could see the Montparnasse Tower.
Overall, a pleasant small hotel in an interesting part of Paris.

It was very convenient for a one night stay before catching the train the next day. The room was modern and clean. However, there was no AC and it was hot. We kept the windows open but it was very noisy until quite late (12:00/1:00 am). There are many options for dining, even for a vegetarian who had to eat gluten free.

This quite old fashioned hotel was ideal for our one night stay - very clean and comfortable and very friendly staff. Noisy street meant that it wasn't great to have window open at night, and the alternative was a noisy fan, but as i am not keen on air conditioning that was OK by me.
