The room was nice and clean when we arrived. However, it was very small. There was no bar fridge. Hotel offers daily room cleaning but one morning we only got clean towels and bed was made. Bathroom wasnt cleaned at all. Our tea, coffee and milk supplies were not topped up. Only after mentioning above issues, we got our room cleaned and was able to get more tea and coffee. No TV in english and TV signal was really bad... on positive note, very good location. 3 different metro lines in the area. Losts of coffee shops and restaurants around. Reception staff was really nice.

We complained about them after having been bit all night and they first didn’t want to provide us with a new room since that would be a risk of them spreading.. wanted us to keep sleeping in the room full of bed bugs. This was a very good property. If you are looking for upscale, this is not the property for you. Like many hotels in this area you should ask for a room in the back so you dont hear noise from local cafes that stay open till midnight. It didnt bother me. Great location, woth Metro one block away. Very quaint, good service and a sufficient breakfast available for extra $10.00. Although very basic. Great coffee and good Crossants. Loved the neighborhood. Clean rooms except the shower curtain was stain with iron. Felt very good about this property.

Great staff, location and property. The Central Hotel is a hidden gem. Literally steps from 3 different train stations and the main station (Gare Montparnasse) that has trains to Versailles and Mont St.Michel saved us hours and money in city traveling. Lively neighborhood that had restaurants open at 2 am but still quiet in the rooms. The staff was helpful and courteous - Jerome, Abdy and others (sorry don't have all names) at the front desk and of course Winnie from the breakfast room who was super helpful. The family double rooms we took were excellent as we got 2 large beds with 2 bathrooms for 4 of us, which made getting ready easy. We were traveling with another family and the front staff let us use the breakfast room in the evenings (when it was empty) to sit together and chat which made the week long stay more memorable.

My friends and I stayed here for four nights and loved it! The surrounding area, Montparnasse, had a great atmosphere and great dining options, and the hotel itself was very practical and offered a lot for its price. We had a triple room, which felt more spacious than we expected, and the staff was always very kind and responsive whenever we had a question or needed something. We always felt safe in the area and within the hotel itself. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel!

Their single room was simple but clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and super convenient (metro stations, bars, restaurants, shops, many tourists’ attractions are very close). It is a small hotel on a quiet side street, very near (an easy walk with luggage) Gare Montparnasse. We had a room on the 6th floor with a nice view over the Paris roof tops. Location was good! Lobby and attendant was nice but rooms were pretty bad. Need update and no ac. Tub was ridiculous high very hard to get in and out. Also didn't like the fact that you can't barely make any noise without people hearing you through the walls and complaining.

Excellent location for Montparnasse station. (3 mins walk). Hotel must have been refurbished. Nice room although perhaps a little tight. Very good bathroom. Good buffet breakfast. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Already booked to stay here on return journey. Good price, but even cheaper on the return.

Central Hotel is exactly that ... perfectly central to getting around Paris via the Metro. A short walk to the main station (Montparnasse – Bienvenüe) and you're on your way! They were very helpful when asking for assistance. We jumped to Belgium (Bruges) for one night and were able to leave our things at the hotel in the Secured Storage area. We did checkout and back in to save a few extra dollars.
The rooms on the 2nd visit were a little snug, but manageable. One of our rooms the heater stopped working, so there was one cold night. We were on the same floor, just on the opposite side of the building.
The Wifi started having some issues on the last day, but was very reliable for the majority of the trip.
The Carrefore (super market) was also close by and had fresh baguette daily.
Made myself a few nice sandwiches to take on my trips.
For the price and location I would definitely go back to Central Hotel Paris.

It was overall good but almost the half part of the night we felt we were like being water boarded: the wall behind the bed head rest is not properly noise proof. Very loud water flushes and water like bubbling noises coming from there to the point that it seemed was happening in our own room 34.

I was disappointed by the Central Hotel, despite its convenient location near Montparnasse Tower. The photos online did not match the reality. Perhaps that was what it looked like immediately after a renovation. My single room had no decorations and was as warmly appointed as a dorm room. The bed was comfortable, but the room was stuffy and warm. Luckily I was on the courtyard side, so it was mostly quiet enough to leave the window open. However, most of the noise came from the hallway of the hotel. The doors let in all of the sound of people coming and going, so it was difficult to sleep until most had settled in. The worst for me was the mold-covered shower. There was basically no ventilation in the bathroom and I could hear the toilet dripping from the bed with the door closed. I didn't try the breakfast, since there were so many bakeries in the area.

Rooms may be a bit too small for someone that wants to stay longer. Close to Metro and for someone like us that mainly wanted to visit Versailles and Paris.

We changed to this hotel after being a lot cheaper upon arrival the hotel looks very small but very modern reception area. Greeted by a fantastic receptionist who went out his way to show us a map of Paris and talk is through everything. The room was the cleanest hotel room iv ever stayed in with all the essentials(TV etc). Our closed were creased so we asked for an iron which the didn't really have but told us to follow them and let us use what they did have.. The French cleaner was lovely although couldn't speak English was very helpful and showed me where the lift was and helped with the iron bless her. Location wise it is pretty much spot on not too close to all the main architecture but close enough for maybe a 5 minute tube. The tube is probably less than a one minute walk which was fantastic for us and there was a few nice restaurants around for breakfast and drinks. Supermarket just over the road. If your looking for a good stay this is the place to go..

Mediocre hotel
This hotel has only few rooms renovated and air conditioned. When you book your room they won't warn you about this issue. We had to stay in the room with no air conditioner. The noise from the street is constant even during the night time. Most of the rooms are old and you can get better deal in any other 3 star hotel.

Great location with tonnes of bars and restaurants around. The hotel is situated right next to a theatre which unfortunately was incredibly noisy until late. You don't need to buy a ticket to the theatre you can hear the show very clearly from your room!! Best for young couples or solo travellers, not ideal for young families due to noise. Booked a single room which was more spacious than I thought, had a double bed and good sized shower. Would recommend and stay again.....would just need the ear plugs!

Just stayed one night as we're catching a train to Bayonne the next day. Chose this hotel due to proximity to Montparnasse station, which was excellent. Room was small but very clean. There is a lift. Reception staff were very helpful. Lots of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so we had dinner and breakfast out.

This hotel was on a lovely street with nearby restaurants and even a playground. It was very close to the metro/train station. There were nearby grocery stores and many opportunities to enjoy a cup of coffee. We were on the 5th floor and the room was warm when the windows were closed. So, we kept the windows open. Rooms were small but adequate for 2 people; they were very clean and the breakfast was good. We would be happy to stay there again.

Im a frequent traveler to Paris and really i was surprised by this hotel . mainly the room which had acceptable space for a single person but really was so clean and comfortable . the location is quite perfect with nearby cafe's and restaurants around .
and if you plan to go the airport next day . dont worry if you are not a fan of underground transportation because beside the TGV RER you will find Airfrance Airport shuttle operating every 30 min ! and its only 7 min walk from the hotel :)

The hotel was pretty good, the room was small but fine for sleeping. The staff was friendly, but it helped a lot if you spoke French. The Internet was very slow and only worked well in one spot in the room. The location was great for getting around, either by walking or the metro.
