The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the river. Breakfast was not free, but was reasonably priced and the variety of food was good. There was plenty of free parking across the street by the river. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great location and a good 2 star hotel

Small hotel that states 2 star but the room was clean and suitable for a short stay the breakfast was good. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the town shops and restaurants. There is parking in a church car park behind the hotel which is free after 1830 and all Sunday, there is some building works going on but this did not impact uas at all.

Massive roadworks right outside the hotel, not informed before arriving at all. When queried owner was very rude and refused to accept this was an issue. So loud we refused to check in or stay!

It was unacceptable. Massive construction right outside the door. Started at 7 am. Couldn’t park near hotel even to unload. Room up 2 staircases, narrow twisting stairs. One of us 81 years old! We had to leave. I will be contacting Expedia for compensation. Totally unacceptable!

Great budget stay for 2 nights. Staff was excellent, breakfast was a good value and good. What we did not like was steep stairs, no elevator or refrigerator. Room and bathroom adequate size. I would stay again in season, but room did not have A/C and was warm one night.

A small, refurbished boutique hotel by the Loire and minutes from the town centre. Nice staff. Breakfast is typical for a small place. I enjoyed my stay. Just note the restricted opening times for reception - important if your arrival falls outside the time frame

Booked two nights at this appart hotel. We booked for three people however when we got there the accommodation was only for two people. The third person had to sleep on a “Canapé” which was totally inadequate for sleeping. You normally expect at least a sofa bed. The hotel also provided us with only one pod for the coffee machine making you ask why do they bother at all. I would go somewhere else next time.

Wonderful welcome. The member of staff was brilliant- respectful of me trying to use French. Room was spacious with lovely river views. Small balcony. Fan provided welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom perfectly good.
The star of the show was the wonderful meal. A limited choice on a set menu but each course was cooked to perfection. Staff (same one) continued to be helpful and friendly.
Location was also good. Short walk past the church to bars/restaurants/shops - however would definitely recommend eating at the hotel.

Value hotel on the river

Very narrow stairs up to our room. I wish we had picked a river view (extra charge) as it would have been lovely. You cannot see the river otherwise. We did not choose breakfast as it seemed pricey and it was a short walk along the river to town. Parking available right across the street. No air conditioning and limited plug ins for the short cord on the fan (provided)

Small, well-managed hotel in the perfect position

Fantastic position, right on the Loire, with an amazing selection of restaurants just a couple of roads back. Easy parking. John on reception (and running the cosy bar) was as friendly as can be. Good breakfast with a nice basket of bread and pastries. Only downside was that our room was stuffy as we couldn't open the window due to the road noise, (we could have chosen a back room without a view and had the fresh air I guess. But .... the view was so nice it would have been a shame.) Small room but well-equipped, tea and coffee tray, little table and chairs to sit and enjoy the view. If/when we visit Saumur again, we will definitely stay here.

A bit too noisey!

The hotel is ideally located to explore Saumur and the surrounding area. The rooms are clean, tidy and ours had a wonderful view across the Loire. With no tea or coffee making facilities in the room our stay of 4 days proved a challenge! The weather was cool, even so you need the windows open as there is no air conditioning. With the hotel on the main road, this means you hear all the road noise. Not so bad in the evening, however at 5 in the morning and the local lorries getting the early drops sorted it acted as an alarm call. This is a stop over hotel and not somewhere we'd aim to book for longer breaks.

Un hotel que je recommande !!!

Très bon accueil. Nous avons été accueilli très chaleureusement à notre arrivée. La chambre était suffisamment spacieuse pour nous deux. La salle de bains est tres bien équipée.
Le petit-déjeuner tout en restant simple est très \"français\" ! Mais il reste efficace ! Rien à dire !
Ce que je tiens surtout à préciser c'est que malgré une façade l'hôtel ancienne tout est joliment décoré et rénové à l'intérieur et surtout d'une propreté impeccable ! Jai rarement vu une salle de bain aussi clean ! Bravo à vos équipes ! Nous ne manquerons pas de vous recommander !

El apartamento que proporciona el hotel está bien sin más pero para lo caro que es hay opciones mejores en la zona si se buscan en las plataformas. El lugar es como si fuera un almacen reconvertido. El apartamento es completo, pero no tiene los pequeños básicos de usar del día a día lo cual es algo molesto, y se encuentra en el borde del centro no muy lejos de las zonas más bonitas a ver. Hay aparcamiento de pago en los alrededores. El wifi funciona bien.

Déçu du séjour, a notre arrivé il y avait un problème avec soit disant le règlement alors que la nuit a été payer en mai, j'ai dû leur montrer les preuves ce que je trouve honteux. Au niveau de la chambre, elle est petite avec un plancher qui nous faisait craindre de passer a travers donc pas rassurant, problème avec la paumau de douche qui n'ai pas réglables et a mon grand avis cassé, difficile d'avoir une eau à la température souhaiter. Nuit très bruyantes car nous entendons tout des chambres voisines et celle du dessus, sans compter les bruits dans le couloirs. Nous avons pas pris le petit déjeuner car prix élevé, même un hôtel 3 étoiles est moins cher. Pas de parking. Bref je ne retournerais plus dans cet hôtel.

hôtel correct et propre.chambre petite mais donnant sur la Loire mais aussi sur la route donc bruyant le matin.par contre decu du petit déjeuner car quasiment rien au niveau buffet.(ex.il y a du fromage, œuf dur mais pas de charcuterie, pas de pftit gâteaux sec.seulement pain et vienoiseries croissants .pas de machine proposant différents breuvages. le café est fait a la cafetière.

Nous avons tous les 4 vraiment aimé notre séjour et n’hésiterions pas une minute à y retourner. Accueil chaleureux avec des pointes d’humour. Parfaitement situé avec vue sur la Loire. Décoré avec bon goût. Il ne manquait absolument rien. Tout sentait la qualité, la réflexion dans le choix. Salle de bain très agréable, bon mstelas. Bon petit déjeuner. Nous n’avons pas essayé le restaurant. La prochaine fois.

La décoration de la chambre est très jolie, la propreté est niquel. Cependant l'insonorisation est très mauvaise... Entre le planché qui grince, et si au dessus de vous vous avez du monde on a le malheur de tout entendre... la personne au toilette, les personnes qui marchent, entendre toute l'eau ce tiré, entendre les personnes parlé...
Satisfaite car ma chambre était en réduction mais au prix d'origine j'aurais du mal à être pleinement satisfaite...

Vernünftiges Hotel mit gutem Restaurant

Wir hatten ein kleines aber sehr ruhiges Zimmer nach hinten raus und waren sehr zufrieden. Es war nur eine Übernachtung auf eine Radtour und es gab die Möglichkeit, in einem Abstellraum circa 100 m weg die Fahrräder sicher unterzubringen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Essen im angehängten Restaurant. Wir hatten dort ein sehr gutes Abendessen zu sehr vernünftigen Preisen
