First room they gave us the air-conditioning didn't work. I asked for another room and they said they were sold out. I hung out at the front desk and asked when it would be fixed . . .got no answer. He asked me how was New York (I'm from NYC) I told him New York was not happy. Then just like that we got a new room. Rooms are not cleaned regularly. If I had to say two good things about it, the location was great, and the shower worked well.

The hotel is located in a really nice area- quiet, with many cafés around, and it’s easy to get both a taxi and enjoy walks from there.
The staff were welcoming. The only downside was that one of the beds in our room was broken, so the rooms could benefit from some updates.

It is very good place , no need for car, easy to get public transportation the team was very nice and friendly.
They did help us for taxi in the morning and all check in and check out it was smooth.

The check-in staff and staff in general were incredibly friendly and kind! They welcomed us with smiles, jokes, and laughs and made us feel right at home. The rooms themselves were quite dated and old, but clean and did the job for a few nights in Paris. It is decent if you want to stay close to the city for a decent price, but don’t want to stay in the city. The metro is also only 5 minutes walk (although there’s no elevators, just stairs if you have hefty luggage), and it easily gets you to the Eiffel Tower without any changes.

We liked this boutique hotel. Since it was in traditional Parisian style building, the rooms were not big but adequate, and very clean. Great location, close to several different metro stations. There were a lot of crepe restaurants on the same street and a couple of good bakeries close by.

It was a good hotel in a good neighbourhood. Lot’s of reaturants and countless creperies are situated in walking distance. 3 metro lines are less than 5 mins walk which makes this hotel connected to the downtown / old Paris very well. It was clean, and the clean the suites every day, except before your last night. Which is normal, I think. The staff was helpful and kind. They were willing to speak English which is a big thing in Paris. :-)
There are 2 negatives with their suites. The toilet is upstairs. So whoever sleeps dowstairs has to climb a steep staircase to do “their thing”. It is very uncomfortable during the night when you basically cannot even see. Secondly, the heating… If you go there during the winter, the upstairs will be hot as hell, and you’ll freeze downstairs. We weren’t able to set a good balance. We couldn’t sleep in 32 degrees upstairs. But if you bring down the thermostat to 22-24 (which is a nice temperature upstairs) you need to sleep literarly in coats downstairs.

We had a terrible experience with the reception staff of the hotel. We checked in on the 09th Feb at midnight and were told to pay the balance money. We paid cash and they didnt have change to give us back. The staff gave us in writing we can collect it anytime later from the reception. At the time of leaving we went to ask for it the other staff who was there treated us very badly. Saying your come to take the money back and just flung the paper on the ground. Very rude behavior and started abusing us. We said to him this is not the way to talk to your customer's but he was very arrogant.No politeness at all was seen in the staff.

Overall the hotel is very run down and the rooms unclean. The sheets are not changed even when there are signs that they are dirty. The towels were very old, the miniature fridge was very dirty and had hair inside, dirty clothes from previous customers under the sofa bed. The manager was very rude and opened our room while we were inside and didn’t even explain why. He would yell at staff customers. Not a good experience.

I did liked that it was relatively close to the iffel tower 10 mins by taxi, 45 mins walk if the weather is favorable... when I reserve am pretty sure I included breakfast and it wasn't included and the way the administration manager made me realized that breakfast wasn't included was very rude and impolite, around the hotel are nice restaurants cost average per meal could vary from $20€ to $86€ per plate depending on the spot you pick, Taxi service will try to overcharged once they noticed that you're a tourist.

The rooms were too old and dirty, and they charge me city tax more than it supposed to be. It supposed to be $11 and they charged me $22.50 euros . The night time receptionist told us he will refund us in the morning when the manager came and they didn't refund us that money.

I request three beds for 5people(3adult and 2kids), and i definitely pick THREE BEDS (2 double bed and 1 single bed). Finally i got the horrible room (room number is 106), the base is only SOFA BED, i really can not expect your company represent a SOFA bed to a regular bed, then go to the upstair, the hotel arrange two SINGLE BED, but these TWO SINGLE bed is only one \"bed mattress\", may i know how do i explain this room type? I only can say this is \" One room with one king bed and sofa\". I spend more USD200 to get this room(with my redeemed) and spend Euro 7 take the bus from Eiffel Tower and back to the ONE BED hotel. I rather just book ONE room hotel around the Eiffel Tower, dont waste my time.
Last the room facility is totally STUPID, there are one toilet in the downstairs, but the toilet is without the SINK to wash the hand, we need to go up to another floor and wash, because the sink is located with the bathroom, is it insane?

Awesome restaurants, a small shop for drinks & snacks just a few doors down and a super-close metro station makes this place a keeper. The air conditioning worked well in our room which was welcome during a hot July stay. The only downside was inconsistent WiFi. Not a problem for me since I used my international data plan.

We had a great stay. We got an apartment that had a twin bed, sofa bed and a queen bed upstairs. The only problem was the only sink is inside the upstairs bathroom, so we all had to wait if we needed the sink for anything. The room came with a fridge and the apartment was really cute. Pretty close to two metro stations, so it was easy enough to get everywhere. They also have a luggage room, so they let us keep bags there after we checked out so we could do a bit of touring before our train left. Would stay here again.

The property was listed as having air condidtioning - what they provide are free standing units that need to be vented out of a window. If you want it to run through the night you need to leave the window open which means the mosquitoes are able to come in - we had the choice of being hot or having mosquito bites.
The card in the room says that breakfast is served from 7-10:30 in the lobby. There is a 5 euro charge to have it brought to your room. This hotel was perfect for us. The location was very good and the room was very comfortable. We went to Paris with our 2 kids from the USA for the first time and we really liked this hotel. I don't give the 5 stars because of 1 person. It is sad but the bad service of only one employee can destroy the good service of the others. The gentleman at the front desk was very rude to us. We asked him to book a taxi while doing the check out and because of a misunderstanding we told him to cancel it and then we asked him to \"please do it again\" He was very rude and told us that he already did it and with a very bad attitude he did it again. He called the taxi and someone else.. I dont understand french but I was able to understand 2 words: taxy and another one that can't say it here because it is a bad word.. He also farted in front of us.. Again it is sad because the hotel was very nice but only 1 person destroyed the good impression of this hotel for us.

The only pro about this hotel was that it was close to an metro/ bus stop. Our bathrooms in our rooms did not work -- when we called the front desk, they said they did not have a plumber until the following day. The shower doors were broken and couldn't close all the way. When we got back to our rooms, not all the beds were made. As we were leaving for dinner, the front desk demanded us to hand over our room keys, stating it was their policy for their guests to surrender room keys whenever they leave the facility but also mentioned that his colleagues may not have provided us the guidance when we checked in. Never will stay at this hotel again -- definitely do not recommend.

This is our first trip to Paris (and to Europe). Due to circumstances out of our control, we didn’t plan it until a little over two weeks before. Since our trip was also during the spring break (for most US kids), it was hard to find “budget” hotels centrally located. I read a lot of reviews and so I didn’t have high expectations.

It has a kitchenette downstairs with a sink and an under counter fridge. But that is it – there’s no other appliances supplied, no coffee maker, hot water kettle, or microwave.
The heat wasn’t on when we checked in, nor did anybody tell us how to turn it on. Fortunately, I’m engineering oriented and it didn’t me take long to figure it out. Not sure if there’s AC in summer, though.

Great Location and Hotel
We stayed for a week with our daughters, 18 & 20, and had plenty of space and a great time! We had two rooms: upstairs had a comfy bed with outlets/lights on both sides, tv, separate bathtub/shower with double vanities, storage and windows that opened to a lovely courtyard; downstairs had a pull-out couch where the girls had enough space for some parent-free time, refrigerator, closet, outlets, great lighting and a separate toilet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean as was the room which was cleaned every day and new towels provided. Wifi worked in the room. And the location was wonderful! Restaurants/Creperies galore and a Starbucks just around the corner. Even had an American style restaurant, Indiana Cafe, where we ate at least 3 times. Sightseeing was within walking distance and we felt safe to walk day and night, but if we needed to take the metro there were stations located at both ends of the street. Nothing negative from us! It was a great trip all around!

The bed has smells. I stayed for 4 nights. The bedding sheet wasn't changed during my stay. Shower room didn't have a door, so water was spreading all over the place, including bathroom and living room. Hotel.com charged some tax and fees when I booked the hotel, but couldn't give me the details about what they were for. Super great staff and the room was big for what I was expecting. The pull out bed was not the best though. Staff was great in giving advice and helping with transportation to the airport. I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel Suites Unic Renoir Saint Germain
we stayed for three nights at the Unic Renoir 3 nights. The first two were without a functioning shower and all three without a locking front door. I repeatedly requested that the faucet/shower mechanism, be fixed or replaced. A new one was purchased on the second day and installed on the third. The language problem never got in the way since I am bilangual, this is not a possible excuse. For the very high price of this facility, the upkeep and maintenance was dismal. Location is great, The staff, particularly Moussa, is fantastic. I just don't think that the management cares because tourists come and go and their bottom line is probably never affected by the unhappy customer. I feel that I did not get my money's worth and will not go this route to reserve a hotel again.

The location was very good. Close to Montparnasse station, a short walk to the metro station and about 20 minutes walk from Boulevard St Germain (Café les deux Magots, close to Latin Quarter). Nice bar across the hotel for night caps and a lovely little eaterie round the corner that we used for breakfast or lunch.However we felt that we had been misguided as there are two Hotel Renoir in the same street and we were sent to the less upmarket one. On arrival to the second hotel, the receptionist was having a cigarette outside and told us to wait in the lobby then called us when she was ready. We were then sent to a tiny room that was supposed to cater for three when only two could be barely comfortable. The pictures that were on the website were of the other hotel (terrasse, more spacious rooms) so we were quite disappointed to say the least. The room we got had electric sockets that were broken and the general feel was of poor maintenance. When we complained the next day however we were given a much bigger room in the same hotel and were dealt with, in a much nicer manner than the night before. The new receptionist was extremely helpful then and made the rest of our stay more pleasant. The website should mention that there are two hotels though.

The room was a bit rundown, desk staff was OK. The wait staff was a little short tempered for breakfast, and we got a lot of lip service for any repairs. Shower head was snapped off wall, and mold present in and around bathroom, with doors and wallpaper peeling. Constantly being looked over in the beginning, but our stay was so long that they got used to us. Hand over your key? Dont stay out late, or risk waking the night watchman to get in!! Hotel has two properties on the street, dont know which o[ne would be better. But, lots of Creperies, restaraunts, and a few bars. Stumble in!
