3rd stay for us @ Victoria Palace. Away from the tourists spots which makes it always a quiet stay with no noise. Only a 15 min walk to St. Germaine if needed and the rest up to Sacre Cour is also only a 30 min walk. If you’re good on your feed,…”go for it”

A short walk from 2 Metro stations and only 10 minutes from 2 more. The are is great for eating options too.

Will look to stay again on return to Paris.

Very nice hotel experience. The staff was very nice and attentive. Fanta was great in the breakfast area. My room was a king room. The bed was very large for the room making the room feel a little small. It was very clean. My room was streetside and the noise from the resturant across the street was somewhat loud but did not keep me up at night. If you are noise sensitive ask for a courtside room.

The location is great and easily accessible from gare nord.

Victoria Place is an excellent hotel and I have stayed here several times. The service is great, the rooms are comfortable with nice beds. It is on a quiet street but with 1-2 min from shops and restaurants (and the metro).

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, including with family and for business. It's always been great but this was my least favourite of my stays, unfortunately. We ended up in a very poky room (all the others I'd stayed in were nicer) and it felt like it needed some TLC compared to previous years (fixtures were wobbly, paint peeling away, etc). One of my absolute favourite things about this hotel however, was just how friendly the staff were. They would always welcome us back and even remember little things. This time was completely different, the only communication taking place being the obligatory check-in talk. Shame as we were deliberating on another hotel this time but choose here out of loyalty and past experiences. I do like Victoria Palace very much so I'm hoping they return top their previous standards soon!

Stayed Before—Wouldn’t Stay Again

While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel a few years back, I was sorely disappointed in the service and cleanliness.

For a hotel that markets itself as a “luxury boutique” hotel, I was shocked to find the staff sitting in a coworking space (designed for guests) adjacent to the entry rather than standing to greet guests in the reception area. There was no concierge and no bell boy to help me with my bags.

The hotel’s excuse was that as a 4-star hotel they are not required to have a concierge. This is absurd. I have been to 4-star hotel with Golden Key concierge staff (the highest level of training possible). Needless to say, don’t expect help from the hotel staff to make dinner reservations, print out the train schedule, or help you with your bags. You’re on your own at Victoria Palace.

Furthermore, while I like the decor, the cleaning is subpar, as there was mold in my shower and stains on the carpet.

This once lustrous hotel has seen better days—and better service!

What a beautiful hotel! Clean, spacious rooms , lots of extra touches, bed comfortable. Good location, train or bus in close proximity. Or you may choose to walk.
Breakfast buffet was good, a bit pricey for what you get.
Nice bar, nice little outdoor courtyard.
Definitely will stay again.

The staff were completely indifferent to any issues that impacted our stay. We booked the sauna for 1 hour and after 15 minutes we were told to leave because another family had a reservation for the same hour. Staff member gaslighted us when we informed her we had booked it the night before.
The next morning we informed the front desk that there wasn’t any hot water in the shower. She informed us she was aware that there was a problem and proceeded to go on about her business. Hot water issue wasn’t resolved and we checked out.
Staff members can been seen daily, preoccupied on their laptops in an adjacent room next to the lobby. We will avoid this place in the future.

Bathroom is spectacular! Modern, new, spacious. Having a separate powder room is a luxury and very well done. The bedroom, and sitting room, are nice sized.

That said, the furniture fills the room and the only place to put a suitcase is to move furniture around to make room on the floor. The wallpaper is peeling, there are dings and dents in the walls, very obvious patch and paint jobs along the trim and woodwork that are very poorly done. There's three light sconces, all tipped at different angles, and the carpet is bordering on disgusting with all the stains. The shampoo and lotion dispenser were empty, and while the breakfast buffet was ample and diverse, the hazelnuts for the breakfast granola were rancid, and the pineapple in the fruit bowl was so overly ripe, it tasted rotten.

A little attention to detail would go very long way here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Victoria Palace Hotel. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating throughout our visit, even surprising us with champagne after our proposal, which made the moment feel extra special.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with high-quality bathroom products that added a touch of luxury. The breakfast buffet each morning was fresh and satisfying. We also used the hotel’s laundry service and were impressed, everything came back neatly folded, and they even boxed our socks.

It’s a charming and elegant hotel with exceptional service, we’d absolutely stay here again.

It was fine. We have stayed in St Germaine before in better areas . Everything is almost 20 minute walk but to get to the bridge and cross the river. Hotel was nice nobody went out of their way to make it feel like a top notch hotel and the prices were well above average hotel. Breakfast was fine not great but fine and then there was a weird charge at the end of additional taxes that felt steeper then I was expecting

Bartender, Apollonia, was a unique experience. She has some advanced education in mixology and you could tell she enjoyed her work. I've never met a 'bartender' so knowledgeable about cocktails. She even created some unique cocktails centered around my tastes mixing various flavors from the bar. I can't say enough about this person's knowledge. It was delightful.

Some of the staff is really good and knows the job requirements while others are students learning with guests. Had a very bad experience these last 2 times, and didn’t find that the manager was up to the level. Still, regardless the manager, and some trainees, they have some of the best people in hospitality I met in Paris. A weird cocktail of both professionalism and incompetence. Wish they will be back to what they offered when they relaunched and till 2 years ago.

Lovely boutique hotel with easy access to everything. Great transport links, 13 stops from Gare Du Nord.
Although our room was very small, it is well designed, fully equipped and beautifully decorated plus had a view of the Eiffel Tower. Staff are extremely friendly. Bistro opposite hotel is great, lovely staff, good food and snacks. Plus a supermarket is on corner 1 minute from hotel if you need anything. Would highly reccomend staying here.

Do not recommend. Staff was rude, location was not ideal in my opinion (although close to a metro and Luxembourg gardens), and you could hear noises from above.
I had an item removed from my room by the cleaning service - likely by accident. The staff offered me free breakfast for my troubles but not before blaming me and making me out to be a liar.

Solid breakfast though, rooms were decent sized, and clean. But I’d never go again.

Very nice stay for our first time in Paris. The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming. Room service was also very good, to include very very good pizza. The breakfast was pretty light and not really worth it in my opinion, but I believe French culture does not really eat heavy breakfast like Americans do, this is to be expected in a different country for different norms. Still, very clean and organized. Where this hotel shines is the luxurious rooms, amenity spaces, and very top notch food available for room service. A bar was also available but I didn’t experience it.

The surrounding areas of the hotel are also very nice to include some great food and shopping within 30 minutes of walking distance.

I would highly recommend for tourist and local residents. The staff also speaks English very well so it was a little easier to communicate as a foreigner.

La 2eme chose on a demandé depuis notre arrivé si on peut avoir notre petit déjeuner assez tot ( simple cafe , croissant et de l'eau ) puisq'on a payé tous en avance .
Le jeudi à 5h du matin , rien n'est pret et le veilleur m'as jamais qu'on offre le petit déjeuner avant 6h et tu peut reclamer c oas mon soucis .

We feel very lucky to have found the Victoria Palace Hotel! The location is wonderful and access to the Paris metro is less than 2 blocks away. We asked for, and were lucky enough to receive, an incredible room with a balcony overlooking the surrounding neighborhood. What a wonderful place to start and end our day! The room itself was very clean, quiet, and well-appointed, and the hotel staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel itself was nice and clean but we had a room on the first floor and it was so noisy. We were woken up at 7am both mornings to a loading dock across the street. There’s also a bustling cafe with lots of people during the day time. I would recommend this hotel, as long as you don’t stay on the first floor.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We booked it last minute and we will for sure come back. The staff is wonderful very accommodating and the location is quite centralized. Le Bon Marche is a short walk and there are several restaurants just a few blocks away.

extremely OVERPRICED!!! I paid US$1000 per night for a small room that barely fit in my large suitcase, and a small window that you can only see others rooftop or others window, NEVER pick this hotel for their way to do business. This is my ONLY disappointment in the Olympic Paris trip and hope no one suffer in the future like me.
