Beds were comfortable room was quiet and clean. Shower and bathroom were great… rooms a little small but this is a small family run hotel of about 25-30 rooms and we were perfectly comfortable ….continental breakfast was good, fresh orange juice…cereals fruit salad and pastries… some bacon and eggs we didn’t have this….nicely decorated very homely… Jardín de Luxembourg next door is fabulous and shopping near by st germain very good

Beautiful small boutique hotel. Staff were excellent and the room was very clean. It's located in a quiet location yet close to transport. As per other reviews, the breakfast is a little limited and the same every morning but still good. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and breakfast was good value with plenty of options. Location was perfect, nicest area to stay in Paris if you like a laid back and quieter feel with less tourists. The 30 minute complimentary sauna experience was a nice touch. Will be back, Merci!

Nicely appointed property - mostly staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast varied and fresh. Very close to the gorgeous Jardin du Luxembourg.I had some issues with the bathroom - nowhere to place toiletries and makeup which was inconvenient.
My main disappointment was the location which is a good 20 minute walk from the hub of St Germain and the interesting shopping streets there. Around the hotel very little.For this reason I would not stay there again

This hotel is really cute. The rooms are small - my husband and I had to stack our large suitcases - but they’re clean and beautifully decorated. Good shower too! Downstairs they have an “honest” bar where we grabbed a glass of wine at the end of the night. Staff was kind and helpful. Location was about a 25 minute walk to popular areas. I would stay here again!

We stayed at the Hotel Bonsoir Madame for 3 nights in September 2024. It is just around the corner from the Luxembourg Gardens and the RER station is the other side of the gardens which is handy for the train to CDG airport. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful, and they speak English. The hotel is beautifully appointed and although our room was very small, it was clean, quiet, stylish with a fridge and a large walk-in shower. A water bottle is provided in the fridge (which was hidden in one of the cupboards, so not immediately obvious!) and there is a water fountain at reception where you can refill it, which we thought was great. We didn't have breakfast there, preferring to go to one of the local bakeries, but the bacon smelled good nevertheless. An ideal hotel for a short break in Paris.

This location was the best! I am so glad I looked at reviews on where to stay and chose the 6th arr. It was close to some great things, and away from all of the tourists. I loved being next to Jardin, Bread and Roses, other little cafes (Sip and Pizza Chic) and it was in walking distance of the laundry mat! It was perfect. The hotel was quaint, and while rooms were smaller …the shower was great. The pressure was amazing. My only issue was everyone talked about the English speaking staff, our main girl, while great, knew very little English, but still so sweet. I used the translator app with her.

My daughter and I stayed 3 nights and it was amazing!
Staff were great. The room was lovely & exactly what we expected (note: we had the basic room and there wasn’t much space to spread out our luggage).

Would be nice if hotel had some umbrellas that guests could borrow for rainy days during their stay…. It’s hard to pack an umbrella in a suitcase !

Would definitely stay there again !

Very nice hotel. Great location. My only criticisms are that the elevator was often full of cleaning supplies in the morning and there was no way to enter it. I also asked the concierge to make a dinner reservation and they said it would be no problem. They actually couldn’t get a rez, but they didn’t tell me and I was turned away at the restaurant. Not terrible , but inconvenient.

A beautiful and clean property (newly renovated in the last couple of years) with great value for the price point. NO concern about bug begs which were all over the media during may stay in Paris. Rooms are not huge, but not tiny as you'd typically expect in Paris. Great shower. Large windows that you can open up to a balcony (not walk out) with great views. Steps away from Luxembourg Gardens and many shopping and dining options. Also far enough away from hustle/bustle of extremely touristy and chaotic areas. Would return again should I come back to Paris.

Really Nice Boutique Hotel in the 6th

Really nice boutique hotel in a great neighborhood. Easy access to excellent public transport -- right next to Luxembourg gardens -- a real plus in a city without that many public parks in the main part of town. Also close to a boulangerie that won the 2016 prize for best baguette in Paris -- well deserved in our opinion.

Lovely but small

The hotel is in a beautiful building right next to one of the prettiest parks of Paris. There are many lovely cafes in the vicinity.
Hotel is clean and well decorated. The room was however was tiny. It felt like being on a ship, my wife and I had to take turns walking around the bed. The bed was a full, not a queen, so it felt rather cramped.
Comfortable but very very small for the price.
Surprisingly the shower was a nice size.

This is a very charming boutique hotel on a quiet street in a historical area but within the walking distance to the subway and to the major shopping on the left bank. The room has everything (including slippers - a nice surprise) and is very neat and tastefully decorated although it is small (which is normal in Paris). There is a very nice cafe/bakery across from the hotel and a few nice restaurants within 1-2 short blocks. The staff is very friendly. I also love the lounge area which elevates a small hotel instantly.

The location is great- quiet yet very walkable to where the action is and literally a half block from the park. The rooms are pretty small, but very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The water pressure in the bathrooms is amazing. I don't usually use services that much so it didn't bother me, but if you do this might not be the place for you.

The hotel situated in a calm but hold access to many restaurants in the area. Interior was refurbished with wooden materials which gives warm atmosphere in the room. The bed was very comfortable too. I stayed there for only one night, but could be an option for long stay as well.

Travelers should be aware that the rooms (at the the less expensive ones) are quite small-- perhaps not unusually so by Paris standards, but nevertheless could pose a challenge for those who travel with many large suitcases.
