The hotel was nice and in a good area. Our air-conditioning broke and staff was unhelpful. Service was never called and no fan was provided. We were on the top floor and it was July so very warm even at night. Staff did not seem to care. Electrical could also use to be updated. Otherwise, the hotel was clean.

If your into high end shopping the hotel is well situated and there several nice cafés close by for morning coffee however the first room the mini fridge was broken and the safe inoperable so they change our room and the second safe was broken and the fridge cool at best. The front desk staff were very friendly though i belive better accomidations could be had for the $400 plus nightly rate.

The team working at Hotel Sèvres are the absolute stars of the hotel - so friendly, attentive, proactively asking to make the stay even more pleasant - I have hardly met better.
The location of the hotel is also very good, conveniently located between metro stations and super close to so many nice shops, restaurants etc.
The comfort of the rooms leave a little room to improve - shower was so low in ceiling hight and shower head that I could not fit under it at 1,83cm and the matress of the bed was not great. Other than that, room is ok.

Difficult check-in. Elevator broken and reception took 5 minute phone call while I tried to check in. Had to carry up all our bags up four floors narrow winding staircase. Superior room size included very narrow entry hall which subtracted from useable space. Otherwise clean with comfortable bed.

Hotel was quite centrally located. Close to metros, shops and various restaurants. Both the rooms and the common areas were clean and updated. They were still in renovations, but this didn’t impact us at all. Would definitely recommend and would reserve again for ourselves in the future!

TERRIBLE CHECK IN - NO HELP FROM HOTELS.COM

I was forced to make a reservation for PARIS earlier in the day on September 8th through my phone app as your website wasn't loading properly and I could not get anyone on the phone (I'M A GOLD MEMBER and CREDIT CARD HOLDER). When my son arrived at the hotel in PARIS he was told there was no reservation for him. After numerous phone calls, text messages and emails at MIDNIGHT I was finally able to get someone to pick up my call at Hotels.com. After one repressentative talked and talked and talked while I was asking him to quickly help me he then passed me to someone else who talked and talked and talked without a sense of urgency. There was NO REASON FOR ALL THE CHATTING- HE JUST HAD TO CALL THE HOTEL and GET ME A ROOM! All the while my son was pressuring the front desk staff ta the hotel to \"find him a room\". He was so tired after 11 hours of traveling from a rempte area of Turkey that day!
Finally, your repressntative suggested another hotel- a huge tourist hotel a cab ride away from the reserved hotel. I asked the repressentative to hold while I was talking to my son in Paris. The repressentative hung up. Luckily my son and I sorted the issue out with the clerk at the hotel in Paris and he got a room key. THIS TOOK OVER AN HOUR!!!
Additionally, I booked a VIP hotel for my son. There was no VIP upgrade, welcome gift or perks.
This is not what I expect from Hotels.com Gold Team. There are many other options out there to book a hotel. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! What is going on

We absolutely loved the neighborhood this hotel is in. Cute and trendy, with a lot of restaurants, shops, and close to a lot of transit. The service was great. We had to leave very early one morning, before breakfast service started, but the hotel staff saved some breakfast for us and put it in our room the evening before. They even fresh squeezed orange juice and left it in our fridge. The only downside of the hotel is that it is very tiny. Not the most comfortable, but at least they have AC, which was a life saver during the heat wave!

The neighbourhood is FANTASTIC! Cafés, restaurants, Bon Marché à Rive Gauche. And splurge for sorbet next door at Fruttinti!
I stayed for 13 nights to take French language classes at the nearby Alliance Francaise (7 minute walk).
The front desk was staffed with helpful and genuinely nice people. They took care of me 😊
My room (#41) was small (13 sq m) but perfect for my solo stay, with a Juliette balcony to enjoy a morning coffee. Very comfy bed and linens, spotless housekeeping, excellent shower and AC.
The only downsides?
The neighbourhood is expensive, but that is what one should expect in the 6eme arrondissement.
The walls of my room were not well soundproofed. Outside on the street is quiet at night, but I could hear quite clearly my amorous neighbours.

We are a tall couple - 5’ 9” and 5’ 11”. The room was fine. The bed was a bit short and lumpy but we were so tired, we slept fine. The issue we had was the bathroom. The shower area was about 3x3x8. We barely fit in to shower and had limited room to maneuver to wash without hitting our elbows. There was also construction going on one morning which the hotel didn’t post about. Hotel is central. Most places within 30 mins, either walking to by metro.

Hotel was lovely. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and even though the night desk cover couldn't speak very good English, he was very sweet and we got by. The room was more spacious than I expected for Paris and the bathroom and shower were very nice. The only complaint I'd make would be the hairdryer which was useless. Our room was at the front overlooking the road. We kept the windows closed and the air-conditioning on most of the time as it was 30C outside. Location was excellent. We walked to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower and to the many restaurants at Montparnasse.

The only negative, but not a real surprise, is that the room was very small. Also, the air-conditioning always shut off after running an hour. That makes good economic and ecological sense, but it was very hot and humid in Paris then so that the room become hot during the night after the AC shut down.
Everything else was wonderful, including the proximity to the Metro, Bon Marche, small parks, restaurants and Poliane Bakery. We both felt that all of the staff consistently went out of their way to be helpful, considerate and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Easy access to Metro, but needs updating

The hotel was located in a good part of town and had easy access to the Metro. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the mattress was super old and probably should be replaced. You could almost feel the springs in some places. The walls were a bit thin and you could hear the toilet flushing in the adjoining rooms. The A/C kept the room comfy overall. It was kept clean, which was nice. Luckily, when visiting Paris you are probably out and about most of the day so Metro access is more important.

It's a great quaint cozy hotel that has all the services! The breakfasts are fantastic, the wine in the lobby is great and the coffee is superb! They are so friendly not to mention a perfect location to stay in. You get to mingle in the midst of the locals and a stones throw from all the great sights! I really like this place!

It was a great 3night stay! the location of this hotel is ideal if you just want to park yourself in a great neighborhood with everything just outside your door step. Great quaint hotel, rooms are snug and very European classic. Great shops, cafe's and walking streets all around it. It was great sitting at a sidewalk coffee shop watching the daily lives of the people.

Loved the hotel and the location.

Very much enjoyed the breakfast each morning to help start our day.

Hotel was VERY close to St. Placid (Metro stop). This made it easy to get in and out around town.

Post office not to far from hotel (few blocks behind hotel) for mailing postcards.

Local restaurants within a few blocks of hotel were all very good and met our dinner needs each evening.

We will be back!

This hotel is within 30 mins walk to the river and 10 mins max to walk to the Metro. The staff at reception were super helpful with information. Room was a little small but comfortable. Wifi was great and BBC & CNN new are available on TV. Only had breakfast once as we ate locally. We used the hotel shuttle for the airport, only 5€ more than a taxi. Get your attraction passes at the airport on arrival. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay in a great area of Paris near Latin Quarter. Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance and very close to a Metro stop to get around the city. Neighborhood felt safe, no problem walking around at night. Staff is very friendly, room was very clean but pretty small. We didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping anyways so didn't matter much. Definitely recommend this place if you don't want to overspend for a hotel.

Great Parisian hotel!

We booked two rooms at the Hotel Sevres and would definitely stay here again. Both rooms we're very clean and had modern amenities, yet we're still very \"Parisian\". We were grateful for the AC as France was experiencing a heat wave while we were there. The hotel is a good 20-30 minute walk from the big sights, but close to several Metro stops. It's a great neighborhood of shops and restaurants that doesn't feel \"touristy\". Margaux and Tekin at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful in arranging airport transportation. Although their English was excellent, they humored us by letting us practice our French with them!

Nice hotel, nice neighbourhood, convenient

Hotel is clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood is nice and not overrun with tourists. It is close to Bon Marche which makes last minute shopping easy. The metro is minutes away and has two lines. Only drawback is I could hear a couple talking at night through the walls.

A 3 Star Hotel with 5 Star Service

This little 3 star hotel offers 5 star service. Good location and good price for this location on the Left Bank. The front desk help was excellent and can say enough good things about Doa who helped us with using the Metro, find nice restaurants, and giving us tips on the sites to see. Breakfast which was included in our rate was also excellent.

Nice boutique hotel in a great neighborhood/area. Close to Metro, within a short walking distance. Very nice and accommodating staff, even arranged airport transport. Nice restaurants/pattessierie on the same street. Cute rooms, nice stay. Would book again in future.

Some things great. Others not so great.

The hotel was nicely decorated and on a really quiet, accessible street. The rooms were a good size, enough storage, black-out curtains, and air conditioning. There were Velib bike rentals right in front of the entrance and two Metro stations nearby. It's also down the street from the really nice but VERY expensive Bonne Marche. The hotel staff was notably friendly for Paris. They engage with you and help you. One staff member literally left his post to help me figure out my Velib. They helped me plan my week so that I would go to museums and attractions when they were actually open, and they were all-around warm and friendly.

On the other hand, there was construction going on during my stay and drilling in the lobby. It had been going on for a week prior to my stay, and they made no effort to notify me about it in advance. When I got there, the lady at reception made a lot of excuses for the work and said that they would never notify guests in advance if construction were taking place, if the air conditioning were broken, or if other amenities were in disrepair. Plus, the walls were paper thin.

They also have this weird key system where you give your key back when you go out for the day. In a way, it makes your experience more personal like a BnB; they really get to know you. But it's also awkward. One time, I went to see a cabaret at midnight and came back at 2am. The lobby was locked, and I had to buzz to get in. I felt like a kid sneaking into my parents' house. :-(

I cannot say enough positive comments about this hotel. We were so welcomed right from the airport pick up by Ahmed and then during the whole week by Doa, Sophe and Valerie. Very boutique and personal. The rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Parisian motif. Each day I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the friendly restaurant staff. Very clean and the bed was so comfy after a day of
exploring the most beautiful city of Paris. I have already picked out my room for my next visit. Perfect location, conducive to getting anywhere.

We had a very nice stay!

We had a nice stay! The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful! This is a historical hotel...so a little on the small side...but very clean and updated. The breakfast was very nice too! It is a good location too...especially for the price.
The shuttle service ( to and from airport) was on time and a good price too.
We would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Nice Botique Hotel in great location!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sevres. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We did not get to enjoy their sitting room as it was getting remodeled, but we will stay here again in future Paris visits!!!

Convenient and great neighborhood.

The neighborhood was great. 1 block from The Bon Marche department store and many cafes and shops close. The desk clerks were very nice and helpful. The room was clean, but they put me in a very small room at the back that was very small and dark. When I made the reservation, I requested a room in the front as suggested by Expedia, but my request was not honored and I don't think they were that full. The Metro and bus lines were were convenient. I tried the 15 Euro breakfast once, but didn't think it was worth it so ate out for the next 2 days.

The customer service at the hotel was outstanding. 24hr reception. All facilities needed for trip were accommodated for. Hotel can organise airport transfer. Skip the line tickets easy to purchase at hotel.
