We had booked and prepaid via Hotels.com for 2 superior double rooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds). Reception tried to charge us again for these rooms. We were initially given 2 double bedrooms. When we pointed out that one should be a twin, we were told that that was not what we had booked. Fortunately we had printed out the Hotels.com documentation which showed that we had indeed booked a twin. We were then given one accessible room with no window in which the air conditioning failed - reception suggested we leave the door open all night (in an external courtyard) as there were no alternative rooms available. The other room (a comfort rather than the superior double we had booked) had an ant infestation. The following day we were given two new rooms - the air conditioning did not work in one of these. 3 unacceptable rooms out of 4 seems like more than a coincidence. The rooms all looked a bit tired and a grubby towel lay on the courtyard doorway for a couple of days adding to the overall feeling of neglect.

Great Location

Location of this hotel is excellent. Close to good restaurants, cafes, shops and the all important metro. Rooms have been recently refurnished. Beds are comfortable and its quiet. Some of the front desk people can be little surly at times and this is the only area where I find fault. Housekeeping from some members of staff is just okay. I've stayed here more than once because of the district.

Happening spot

The customer service was great and super friendly. It’s a happening spot, with lots of great little cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance, the Metro is also not far away. Lastly, the rooms were clean and beds were comfy. I would definitely stay here again! ❤️

The main feature of this hotel is the location. It is close to good and fairly priced restaurants and transportation. The hotel itself is a bit rundown. We were given the family room on the 7th floor, large room space, beds are ok but not the best. Bed linens and towels are of poor quality. Carpet is dirty. Overall this hotel needs an update.

My travel companion arrived several hours before I did. The staff at the front desk were quite rude to her.

At another point the front desk staff were particularly unhelpful. If my companion didn’t speak French I don’t know what I could have done.

Also, we changed rooms but unfortunately, I left something in the original room. The maid made no attempt to save it or return it to me.

On s good note, they did change our room.

The quad bedroom is quite huge. But the carpet is not that clean. Overall the room is quite comfortable for 4 people.

One of the front staff is quite abrupt and not helpful. The other two are really nice, though.

This hotel was right in the heart of everything. Lots of restaurants, 2 metro lines and the train station. It was convenient to walk to the Louvre and other areas depending on the time you have. The room was fine. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is a bit cramped so we opted to eat else where. Our dryer was very low power so if they upgraded that and provided an iron, I would give this room a better rating.

Not so great stay! pictures don’t look like the room at all! Carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and the bathroom was separate to the shower room which I found odd. On Saturdays venting we were locked out of the hotel for 15 mins as the person manning the desk went away and locked the front door for “security reasons” at 5:45pm. We were bussing the entrance for 15 mins and she turned up eventually. The lift is quite dirty and jerks quite a lot.

Solid hotel for one night as I booked this place for a very good rate on Hotel.com. Room was small but comfy enough for just me. Its on a busy street so you will ear noises which is fine with me as I am used to it. Everything in the room works and is nice, but it was a little small. Small as in once you open the main door, if the bathroom door is left open then its in the way of entry into the overall hotel room. There is breakfast downstairs in the basement area if you plan to eat here in the am. I would stay again for the right price for 1-2 nights

Good location. Check in was easy and the woman at the desk was helpful when we asked for assistance. Really liked the ability to make coffee in the room. The only complaint that we had was the smelly closet. Smelled like old dirty clothes, but the room and bathroom was clean.

The staff was friendly and spoke excellent English. The location was near the Montparnasse Tower and convenient to get to many of the top tourist locations either through two nearby metro stations or the bus. There were many good restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

Rooms in Europe are smaller and this was no exception.

I was very nervous about booking a hotel in Paris online as this was the first international trip I ever plan. I stayed for about 10 days. It was comfortable and in a very good location. Accessible to various metro lines, restaurants, and little shops. It is not the fanciest hotel in Paris but it was very comfortable and worked with my budget. The rooms including bathroom are are small but if you are going to be sightseeing and planning activities during the day it is fine. There were days I did not want to do anything but sleep and I was able to do that as well. Beds were very comfortable and for most part clean. If you have the means to book other hotels in the area with more room than definitely do so but I leave feeling well rested. Also was great for my pocket. If you don't mind a bit smaller space then you will definitely be fine here.

Roach Motel!!!

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in the beginning of September. The only thing that was good about this place was the location a block away from several metro stations and close to cafes and restaurants. When I checked in, I immediately noticed that the wall in the hallway entry was bubbling with water damage. The wallpaper was ripped and worn out. There was a film of dust over the headboard that housekeeping didn't clean. The shower was mildewed and not updated. It did not look anything like the photos. During the second night of our stay, my friend saw a roach in the middle of the night. The front desk didn't have any bug spray or anything to help. Despite repeated requests to change rooms, they couldn't or wouldn't do anything to accommodate. This had to be the most unpleasant hotel stay I've ever experienced.

Helpful staff, spoke English. Provided great directions on how to get to train station and advise on alternate metro stop as the main one can get busy. Montparnase beineviu metro stop is just right next to it. Lots of restaurant close by and open late. Love having pattiserie right across the street. Train station about 10 min walk, very convenient. Good breakfast too.

Exactly as described room was small but very nice

Very resonable hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is near local transport but we decided to walk everywhere to experience Paris. Only a 25 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and Paris' other attractions perfect if the weather is dry.

This is an exceptional hotel for people that just wants to have a place to sleep while enjoying Sightseeing Paris during the day. This hotel was great value while we stayed in Paris. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. I enjoyed the Juliet balcony. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The bathroom was a bit small, but still completely functional. The area was great. There's a subway stop right out the hotel, as well as Tour Montparnasse (which I recommend for a great view of the Eiffel Tower at night) and lots of cafes and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Neighborhood looked sketchy, but so does much of Paris (at least the parts that I can afford). It was VERY conveniently located to the metro and Montparnasse Rail Station. Lots of food options in the area too. The room was small and a bit worn. The first night we had water dripping from a light fixture in the bathroom. When we notified the front desk, they assured us it would be checked, and when we returned, they claimed that it was drainage from an AC unit and needed no further action. Bathroom was mostly clean, but had no shower curtain or drain, so water was everywhere with each shower. Some mildew because if this and the history of leaks around the light fixture. Wifi was irregular at best. I'd probably try another place in this area before I went back to Timhotel.

Everything you need with a great location

I was pleased to find the room, albeit small, in a modern style and very clean. The view wasn't much, but with so much activity right around the hotel in the Montparnasse area, there was no need to stay inside. The hotel is well connected to public transport as well as some of the tour transport stops, which made getting around the city to see all the sights even easier. That said, I was able to walk from the hotel to the Eiffel Tour, Rodin Museum, Hotel des Invalides--and I probably could have made it to others if I could have stayed longer.

Noise from the courtyard below carried up to the room, so it could have been quieter. For the cost, it was reasonable, but I think I'll try somewhere else the next time I'm in Paris.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were completely amazed, and not in a good way. There was a wet mop leaning up against a wall in the lobby; dirty/unvacuumed carpeting and a front desk person who spoke NO ENGLISH. After getting a person who did speak English we learned that our room, which we paid extra for, was not ready upon the agreed upon check in time. We were escorted to a \"temporary room\" until ours was ready. Once to the new room, there was no in-room safe -- only a bank of safes in a central public location in the hotel. The photos of the hotel on Expedia and on the hotel's web site are not at all an accurate depiction of the property. I'd classify this hotel as a Holiday Inn type of property at best. Not a boutique hotel as it is advertised, and certainly not the level of service that experienced travelers would ever expect.

Hotel small not as appears on web photos, staff very pleasant apart from the lady that cooks breakfast we went down at 9.50 and no breakfast left and she told us she had stopped cooking, breakfast supposed to b on till 10.30 , the manager did ask her though and it was done, clean rooms v comfy beds but no facilities to hotel, no mini bar even , only vending machine, good position to see all the sights though, great kebab shop next door and a c& a on corner . Not a 4 star I'd say a comfortable 2-3

Good Hotel in a Great Location

We stayed at this hotel at the suggestion of a friend who frequents Paris as this was in a part of Paris we had never stayed. We liked the neighborhood atmosphere, location next to the Galleries Lafayette shopping center, and very close to the Metro stations and the Montparnasse Train Station. When we arrived in the evening, the room was ready. We stayed for four days, and although the room was small, it was adequate for our needs. The desk personnel were nice.

Cramped hotel, posing as 4 star

On the 29th of october after checking in, the hotel's water supply stopped, no shower, on 30th it was resumed but no hot water, 2 days without a shower! It came on the day of departure. The hotel staff offered a free breakfast as compensation which I could not eat since I was leaving (neither wanted to eat). The Tim hotels are like a virus within Paris, located in tourist trap areas, within a stone throw's of each other, based on a quick turnaround of guests without any regard for the long term relationship or service.

Checked into the hotel got everything ok. Had trouble communicating with the receptionist as her English wasn't too good. Went up to my room and couldn't get in. The door was jammed. Had to give it a good hard pull and push to get in. Thought I was going to rip the handle off. Got in and the room was tidy but stunk of bleach. Air conditioning wasn't working and it was baking hot.

No parking available so I ended up parking in the local multi storey which cost me €40 for 2 days which isn't too bad. Close to the metro also. Plus the shower was good too!

I was on the 6th floor and when it came to check out the lift was being serviced. Long way up and down especially with luggage.

Wouldn't stay here again.

Esperienza assolutamente positiva ! Stanza molto pulita e confortevole. Molto silenzioso. Staff molto cordiale, professionale e cortese.
Veniamo a Parigi ogni anno, almeno una volta all’anno, rigorosamente sempre a Montparnasse, che consideriamo un quartiere straordinario per posizione, molto tranquillo e sicuro, servito benissimo per trasporti e offerta commerciale e ricettiva.
Da considerare anche che da Montparnasse, se si ama camminare, si puo’ raggiungere Saint Michel, Saint Germain de Prés, il Quartiere Latino, Notre Dame, ecc.ecc. in una mezz’oretta a piedi (dato che si parla di circa 3 km) facendo una bellissima passeggiata verso Rue de Rennes, una via molto bella e ricca di negozi e vari locali.
Quindi l’Hotel é da considerarsi assolutamente anche in una posizione molto strategica.
Quest’anno rispetto agli anni passati avevamo deciso di cambiare hotel e abbiamo optato per questo TimHotel, presso cui torneremo sicuramente, dato che si é rivelata una scelta vincente !

立地もモンパルナス駅に近く、他の観光地へのアクセスもしやすい場所でした。また、周りも飲食店も多く、どこで食べるか迷うくらいでした。
部屋は静かで安眠できました。
またパリに来た時は絶対利用したいです！
ただ頼んでたベビーベッドは来ませんでした、、、。
そこだけが残念なポイントでした。

Accueil très bien, personnel bienveillant et à l'écoute. La chambre était propre et agréable.
Dès que je vais à Paris j' vais dans cet hôtel, pour la proximité de la gare et des transport mais également pour la gentillesse du personnel.

Hôtel très bien situé avec des réceptionnistes agréables. Juste deux bémols: chambre bruyante à cause de l ascenseur situé à proximité et poubelle de salle de bain non vidée à notre arrivée

vive paris!!!

chambre 10 m2 avec douche, wc, lavabo
impossible de bouger dans la salle de bain, il y avait pas 1 m2 pour bouger, la douche a l ancienne avec porte casse et toute petite je pouvais pas me tourner tellement elle était petite les murs de la chambre avec des taches partout, je me déplace beaucoup je n ai jamais vu une chambre dans état comme ça c est même pas au niveau d un formule1

Cómoda opción en barrio Montparnasse

Excelente opción para estancia en la ciudad. El.precio no es excesivamente alto y proporciona un buen lugar de descanso. Auqnue mi habitación era muy pequeña la cama y el baño eran cómodos.

Adicionalmente había cafetera y un pequeño escritorio.

La ubicación muy bien con 2 estaciones de metro cerca y muchas opciones de restaurante en la misma calle.
