This was the 4th hotel on our 2 week trip and it was our least favourite, but that’s not to say there was anything bad. The decor in the hotel is dark, so the hallways have a creepy feel. The lights were off unless motion activated, which added to the creepiness factor (not enough where I truly felt creeped out, but enough that we both commented on it).

Don’t bother paying extra for the breakfast as it’s quite small and there is a bakery on the corner (1 min walk). There a lot of restaurants in the area that are great.

The room was small, the toilet cubby was small and only one person could be in the bathroom.

When you walk to the corner, there is a great view of the Eiffel Tower so that’s a plus. The metro is also a 5 minute walk away so it’s very convenient.

In summary, it was a decent hotel, but I wouldn’t return as there was other Paris options with bigger rooms and lighter decor.

Quaint, tiny, exercise somewhere else

The staff was attentive and helpful. The rooms are small. The exercise area has one mat, not much equipment, and is connected to the laundry. At 6 AM, the exercise room was hot and humid from the adjacent dryer.

Paris 15eme is an awesome neighborhood. However this hotel has nothing especially great to offer. It is not bad but not extraordinarily either. The room is very small, A/C not working very well, nothing really stands out. They charge an extra 60euros for early check-in.

Perfect location to really enjoy local cafés and shopping. Rooms were small but comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was a plus as June was hot. We could see the Eiffel Tower at night glowing in the distance from a street near our hotel. So beautiful!🙂

My daughter and I stayed here, it was very nice and next to the BEST bakery right in the corner. The A/C and water pressure and temperature were terrific. It was nice walking around the area, it is safe day and night and has lots of local restaurants, pharmacy and grocery store all walking distance.

The Eden Hotel is a great little hotel.
The room was very comfortable.
The toilet is the tiniest I’ve ever seen and not near the bathroom!! Very strange!
Shower was fabulous.
The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was good, not extensive but a nice choice of meats and cheeses, yoghurts, fruit and scrambled eggs, pastries etc.
Cute little tiny garden area to relax.
The location is great, near lots of shops and walkable to nearby large shopping areas.

I absolutely loved this place! First time to Paris and I wanted to stay somewhere close enough to walk anywhere. Very accessible to Metro station and Eiffle tower was only 1.5 miles away. Staff was extremely friendly and rooms were clean and great!!

My bedsheets were stained, the comforter was dirty and the sheets had a foul odor. Despite my request to have them changed, dirty sheets were put back on my hotel bed causing me discomfort and distress. I was unable to sleep during my last night of the stay. I was asked to change the sheets myself while the hotel staff watched and was provided with sheets that did not match the bed. I showed the manager photos and video of the dirty sheets and comforter. The manager said he would refund 1 night of my hotel costs on December 1. He never did. Instead, he decided to charge me a small fee to clean the room AFTER I left. How insulting and unprofessional.

This is not what I paid for nor is the experience Hotel Eden promised. The manager is awful and is going out of his way to refuse the promised refund. I have never experience such poor customer service and dirty accommodations at a boutique hotel of this level. All the manager does is blame shift and stall. Will never visit this hotel again.

Your provide with complementary bottle of water every day, breakfast includes freshly baked baguette eggs beans and mushrooms, fresh croissant and more. Location is great in walking distance from Eiffel Tower- I highly recommend

Staff are friendly, beds are comfortable, room is always clean, the neighbourhood is fairly safe and clean, with an easy walk to three different metro stations. There are also restaurants nearby and if you fancy the room services, we really enjoyed the rib eye steak and lasagne.

I stayed here with my family for three days and its a really clean and good property to stay at. The rooms were clean and cozy.

The breakfast buffet was pricey considering the spread but other than it was great experience. Close to the Eiffel Tower and we got to see it sparkle every evening .

I loved the hotel. The staff was great: friendly and very accommodating. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. However, do not compare it to US rooms as they are much smaller. But it was enough.
My wife and I love to walk. We were about 30 mins from the Eiffel Tower. Located near many restaurants. I'd stay here again

It’s truly a gem in the heart of Paris. Location is perfect as it is centrally located to everything. Eiffel Tower is about 15 min away walking. So many cute little restaurants around. I stayed at the Hotel Eden for 4 days (July 9-13) and traveled for business. My spouse and child were also with me. Hotel Eden is a typical Parisian hotel, small rooms and terrible Wifi. We rented a triple room (room 506) which had two twin beds pushed together and one fold on sofa into a single bed. The room was equipped with a safe, which we used. The toilet is a separate small closet. The bathroom had a nice sink and a shower with a nice shower head and a glass door. The shower door was very difficult to open and close and we worried that it was going to fall off its track. The window for the hotel room opened onto the central courtyard, which was quiet. The room had AC, which worked well. The real problem was the wifi. I think that they have a old system. It was nearly impossible to log onto the system and on the rare occasion that I did connect, I could not check email because of all of the server handshakes required. The wifi did not work in the lobby either. Finally, in exasperation, I got the password for the wifi that the hotel staff used and finally I was able to receive and send email but only in the lobby. The hotel desperately needs to update its wifi system. Our breakfast was included and it was good: croissant, pan au chocolat, yoghurt, juice, cereal, coffee machine and dried fruits. Finally, the elevator was not working on the day we arrived so we had to haul 3 suitcases up 6 flights of stairs to the french 5th floor. The elevator was fixed the next day.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were great and very helpful, and were able to check us in an hour early since we arrived there early. The location is good; very close to Vaugirard metro station.

The main complaint is that the hotel has centralized AC and so neither the fan nor the thermostat can be controlled from the rooms. We were warm (in April) and when we inquired about the AC we were told to open the balcony window and that they (the staff) don't have any control on the temperature. Quite annoyed and disappointed, we opened the balcony window only to have tobacco smoke from people smoking outside come into our room which forced us to close the window and sleep quite uncomfortably.
The bathroom was not well ventilated and so the entire room used to get uncomfortably humid and damp after a shower, and we also found mold on the bathroom ceiling.
Finally, the bathroom sink was clogged and was never fixed during our stay.

This was a great little hotel in a very nice upscale neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our seven night stay. We were out and about most of the time so basically slept and enjoyed breakfast there each day. Good location with easy accessibility to metro, walk to Eiffel Tower etc. great bakery two doors down and excellent restaurant across the street.

(+) I liked how closely located the M12 tram line is to the hotel. We caught the train over and got of at the (Garde EST) train station. From there we were able to hop on the local tram M4 then transfer to M12 which stops only 2 or so blocks away from the hotel.

(+) As you come out of the hotel, walk a block to the left and you will see an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower.

(-) The bathrooms are tiny, which is expected abroad. But the shower door is only partially sealed when closed, and no matter how you maneuver the shower head... the water will leak out of the shower and pool on the bathroom floor. This causes the floor towel to soak up... poor engineering? Absolutely.

(-) Resturaunts in the immediate area will not offer you service if you don’t speak fluent French...

This is a really good place to stay. Like all other European hotels, the rooms (particularly if you are from the US or Asia) appear a little cramped. But, there is a king size bed that was comfortable and the bath was super nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic bakery next door (like really next door) that offered great items. The train station is very close although we did not use it much. Overall, a really nice stay and really good experience.

Its a good location, clean, a bit small but that's what you can expect for Paris. I really was disappointed with the wifi. I couldn't download anything and had to use my roaming data which cost a lot of money to do. The tv doesn't have any English channels. I asked about the wifi and the person behind the front desk said that he mentioned it to his manager and other complaints were made about this issue. Nothing was done about for the 2 weeks I was there. I spent a lot of money to be there for that duration of time. Therefore, I would not go back!

We booked 2 rooms for 4 of us.

1) Upon arrival the 2nd room was extremely small. We asked to switch rooms and they were able to give us a different room. There are slightly larger ones.

2) Someone from the hotel walked in on my family in the other room without first knocking while the Do Not Disturb sign was on. The room was already clean.

3) We had multiple issues getting into our room. For the first few days the door wouldn't open with the key card. Every time we wanted access to our room we had to ask a hotel rep to let us in with the master key. That was very inconvenient. Then our door would not lock. We were there for 6 days. The door was fixed on day 5.

4) Wifi didn't work for any of us, but staff will insist it does work.

5) Rooms aren't particularly clean. Hair on the beds, dirty, never-mopped floors. They only change sheets on Tuesdays?

6) Beds are extremely uncomfortable. I believe we had a \"King\" which is 2 twin beds pushed together. That would have been fine, but the two beds are both sloping/are slanted and incredibly hard. 3 out of 4 of us ended up with neck and back pain. I couldn't sleep by the 4th night due to discomfort in my lower back.

SMALL boutique hotel. They do not do much on the side of technology, they handwrite everything and I don’t remember seeing a computer. I had a massage and I did so in the basement and on a table with no sheets, just towels and we were in the shower/sauna area. Very bizarre. I also had to request door stops and extra towels. When I asked for wash cloths - they didn’t have any. Also, too small for a family even with connecting rooms.0

A pleasant enough hotel with clean rooms in a quiet typical Parisian neighborhood. Could definitely use an upgrade to the mattresses and bedding in general. None of our 3 beds were comfortable and some were sagging and sinking substantially in the center of the bed which did not make for a pleasant sleeping experience after a long day of walking.

Not a great location, tiny room - 204 - poor AC, confusion re room service breakfast which we were not able to order but had been told the previous night that we could. Plus the internet went out about 9 pm in a rain storm and we had to call at 7.30 am to ask for a reboot. Very, very average. When we complained we got one of 2 breakfast orders comp. But E3 for a cup of coffee which you have to get yourself is ridiculous. How about a pot? Very disappointed.

Quaint and quiet

Hotel was quaint, quiet, and clean. Service was pleasant and helpful. Although there is air conditioning, upper floors are warm since temperature setting is regulated. Typical French breakfast with pastries, bread, boiled eggs, ham, cheeses, yogurt, and dried fruit.

I booked this hotel based on the rating I saw; however, disappointed. Expedia guaranteed late arrival, but the front staff said no more room at 12 AM when we were exhausted from 13 hours fly and 2 hrs train and walk. We reserved 1 big room with 1 king bed and 1 double bed, but ended up with a tiny, tiny bedroom that we did not reserve. Then we had to waste that whole day waiting for someone to leave so we could have their room (which was the size we reserved).To make matters worse, breakfast is the lousiest I've ever seen and cost 11 Euro. Use that money to buy another breakfast that is cheaper and better. I paid the total of almost $1700 for 6 days for this hotel. You only get a few ham, yogurt, raw eggs that you have to boil yourself, and small quantity of bread/pastries as you see on their website. Additionally, the staff took too long to clean out the stale urine smell we had in the bathroom for a day. I work 2 jobs and don't have time to write a review but this one I must. Never recommend it.

I booked this hotel only based on good reviews. I was however dissapointed with the hotel and it facalities for a 4* hotel when i had paid over €600 for few nights stay even the staff were very nice and helpful but the hotel with shabby rooms.

Beautiful hotel walking distance to EVERYTHING

We accidentally were booked into this hotel after our first hotel provided by expedia lacked the amenities listed on their site. Hotel Eden was a wild card pick. This hotel was fantastic. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This hotel had it all, you walk out, make a left, and you can see the Eiffel Tower from the street. There were lots of great things about this hotel, first being it’s proximity to the RER and bus stop, grocery store and liquor store. The hotel manager was so kind to us, and we took his suggestion on going to Buddha Bar(excellent). Everyone pretty much speaks English. The housekeeping woman was excellent, everything always clean and crisp. The breakfast was pretty delicious. It was very quiet, considering we had a room literally next to the elevator. Overall for our honeymoon, Hotel Eden saved the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who has travel plans for Paris.

Nice hotel close to Metro
