It was clean but I do not recommend it. It seemed like a hotel run by a family. I had to ring a door bell and wait for someone to open the door in order to come and go, they added additional taxes at the conclusion of my stay, and they made a copy of my passport.

I didn’t like how I asked for a room with 2 beds and was given a room with 1 bed. After traveling all day the last thing I wanted to do was rest. The guy wrote down some room number to show me and the first one he showed me I just decided to stay there (another room with only 1 bed) I was tired and exhausted. It’s annoying having to deal with that stuff after a long day. Like why are you showing me another room with just one bed. Ridiculous.

The property was in a great location, and the price was very fair. The rooms were recently renovated, so everything was new and clean. However, the lobby was still under renovation, and was a bit inconvenient and the construction noises were very loud. But I assume in the future this would not be an issue.

Decent hotel for the price. The double bed is actually two twins pushed together so not the best for couples. Bed not that comfortable either. Kind of far from nearest metro stations. Staff was friendly. This hotel has the smallest lift/elevator in the world. Overall ok, not the typical quality of a Best Western I have experienced in the past but it is typical European hotel...small.

Walking distance from multiple train stations. Easy check-in and check-out. You can opt to have breakfast included, for additional charge. Location is walking distance (20 mins) to Eiffel tower.

Hotel is outdated with small rooms (if you are carrying 2 large luggages, it will be very hard to fit inside the room and have them both opened). We requested for a double bed and got 2-twin beds put together, which moved when we did, so it wasn’t comfortable for a couple. The heater/ac keeps on shutting down. Wifi is weak on the 6th floor.

Please please scrub the bathroom tiles it’s full of mold. Black stuff all over. I can even rub it out with my fingers. I don’t think best western do not take time to scrub the tiles. They just wipe the floor down and change the towels. It was gross taking a bath. I wish I had a spray to clean the tiles in the shower.

The hotel staff were very helpful. The location was good close to the subway, Shopping and 20 walk from the Eiffel Tower. The room was extremely small for 3 people. The shower need to be sprayed down with bleach and scrubbed. The light to 1 side of the bathroom mirror was burnt out.

Perfect location in a part of Paris we had not stayed in before. We enjoyed the easy walks, good restaurant's, sense of \"neighborhood\" of where the hotel is located and it was only a short, all be it with Parisian taxi drivers \"expensive\" distance to the riverboat cruise we were taking.

Street is a little noisy but I guess that is expected based on the location. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. Staff was friendly although late in the evening the doors were locked and had to wait for the evening attendant to open for us. This worried us the first night. They should prepare you for this and to expect it if out late into the evening.

I booked this hotel looking at the brand name of \"Best Western\" and it was so disappointing and a bad experience.

The AC was broken and not working since July 2018 and it was not informed to us. The rooms were very hot and dusty. The fans were of no use. It was also removed and then i had to request it back. There was maybe only one fan and it was rotated between different rooms daily, based on who asked it first!!!!

Couple of the hotel staff were very curt and borderline rude. They did not help people who had issues with the hot rooms with no AC or fans.

The rooms are very small and is suitable for only one person.

This hotel is best booked maybe during winter when no AC is required, for ONLY ONE person per room and if you plan to be outside 90% of the time. Do not expect a good service.

Hotel is not 3 star, bathroom had mould on the ceiling, reception area is clean , nice breakfast area. Worst part was morning receptionist tried to charge for full breakfast, though we only had express, virtually accusing us of lying, would not recommend.

This is in a great location. I was able to walk to the eiffel tower. The room was clean. There is no AC but it had cooled down right before I arrived. The staff ste friendly and helpful. The street noise is loud until late at night. I wore ear plugs and it was not a problem.

This hotel has slipped badly

First of all I had great expectation from best western hotel but this hotel is not worth spending money. Rooms are small that is ok in place like paris but AC units didn't work and on checking with manager , she said that it was already informed to hotels.com but nothing was informed to customer. Staff was good but manager didn't responded very well to queries. Place is ok to stay but you can get good others hotels near by. This place is not worth spending money which doesn't provide amenities which you paid for. Neither did hotel compensated for the trouble we had without AC in room when it is too hot in paris in summer. Had great expectation from best western but this hotel has slipped badly. Didnt had good experience while staying.Definitely not recommending my friends.

Deceiving but room nice and location able to walk

'the hotel was in a local area but was easy enough to navigate around from there. The hotel pictures are deceiving, lobby was hot rather be in room relaxing,bar what bar served very little choices and was told no ice. the morning breakfast room was not outside just a inside room with plexi glass for light to come through. We didnt spend much time at hotel so these points didnt really matter to us. The room its self was fine and had to balcony which was nice.

Room was not good. Bed was rock hard and the bathroom shower was moldy. The facility needs a major upgrade and for that reason I would not recommend the hotel. I would highly recommend the staff who were the only highlight of the hotel as they were helpful and kind. Best western needs to invest some money

Good location for Eiffel Tower and metro.

I stayed in two different rooms in this hotel during my four night stay. The rooms were very clean with good showers. Unfortunately there is little soundproofing between rooms and this was a problem at times. Breakfast was fairly basic. You can choose between a quick continental breakfast or opt for the more expensive breakfast which includes cereal, ham, cheese, yoghurt, eggs and fresh fruit.

Everything was perfect except the staff in the lobby on shift before 7AM. He did not woke me up at 6.30 as requested but at 6.50 instead.

Perfect for budget minded families.

Great service, very friendly, all front desk personnel spoke English and French and some Spanish. They had an extra rollaway bed but in the room before we got there and my picky daughter was very comfortable in it for the 5 nights. Close to many different metro stations, restaurants, and shopping.

Wonderful visit

The staff are very friendly, I stayed with my 6 year old and we needed some help getting around, the staff were wonderful. The hotel is well placed for visits to Eiffel tower and other iconic sites there are 2 metro stations at the end of the street and it is very easy to use often quicker than traveling in a car due to level of traffic at certain times of the day.

The hotel may be good for a short day or two trip. The major issue is the centralized control of room temperature. We found it to be very hot during night time and could not lower the temperature. We complained the next morning to no avail. The elevator is too small to fit even one person with luggage.

Room was quite well furnished and clean. Breakfast was quite expensive for what they offered, you are likely better off going to a nearby bakery or grocery store to get breakfast. The location is the best part, 20min walk to the Eiffel tower and Musee de l'armee. 5 min walk to several metro stations, so it's easy to get around.

If you decide to stay in this hotel, just hope that you get lucky everything in your room works, like the air-conditioning, because it is hard to get the staff to do anything in your behalf. The AC in our room did not work so we told the front desk about it the next day. The staff told us that someone will come to work on it and if it does not work then we can have another room. We went about our business for the day and got home pretty late that evening to find out the AC is still not working so they put an electric fan instead. I went to talk to Abdullah who was working at the front desk that evening to ask for another room. Instead of telling me in a respectful way that the hotel is full so there is no possible way to get another room, he proceeded to scold me for daring to request a room at that time to the night. I did not realize the hotel was full until his friend explained the situation to me. I have the impression that many people in the tourist industry in Paris do not care about treating people well because people will come back to stay not matter what. I can't do anything about that, but I know I can at least let prospective customers know what they are getting into before they book this place. The sad thing situation could happen anywhere in Paris. I just got unlucky dealing with a rude person like Abdullah!

Hotel is clean, we got upgraded to the penthouse suite, but the air conditioner was not working and we had to sleep in the heat, when we asked the front desk to please have it checked they said ok but nothing was done by day 3 so we asked for a fan, which we got
after speaking to 2 different people at the front desk. Our safe did not open because the person who stayed in that room beforehand left it locked so they tried to unlock it with a key and the manager said it was ok, but when we went try it it didn't'. We had to ask for toilet paper. They reserved a taxi for us to go to the airport and we were told by their employee that it would be a fix este of 45 Euros, instead when the cab arrived it wa 62 Euros. So their staff is not very well informed and customer service is not their priority!!! Not impressed with the staff!!!

Nice hotel in a great neighborhood

Nice hotel in the cambronne area, about 10 minutes from the Cambronne metro stop with great boulangerie across the street. The hotel rooms are typical Parisian style, not huge but a good amount of space. The sound carried some from other rooms which for one night was ok, but it might be bad if you stay for a long time and have noisy neighbors. The wifi was good, easy to connect and quick enough to video call and stream movies. A few English speaking stations which is nice, but you can stream just as easy. The bed was big and semi-firm memory foam.

Not worth it if you are a tourist

We payed 100 per night and honestly not worth it. You are close to the train station so that's really accessible but you are 25 min walk to the Eiffel Tower so 50 minutes to walk there and back. There were a few restaurants close buy which was pretty great some even open really late. The hotel room
Was not very well maintained. You are able to hear people in the rooms next door. I think for the price there are better options closer to more tourist places. I would not stay here again.

Just what you need

It is not a luxurious hotel if you expect. It is just a simple hotel with the very basic amenities that you need to stay in Paris for sightseeing. A comfortable bed, good bathroom and a simple AC (AC didn't work well for us). 2 metro stations around 400meters distance. Neighborhood with restaurants.
we are fine with our stay except the AC.

Well front desk are welcoming some of them helpful- room are very small but clean- breakfast was ok- and shuttle service you have to pay for it $36 euros Which was not communicate to us and it has to be cash! Please know your terminal when they drop you off and go 3 hrs in advance because you are not the only they'll pick up. Also uber service it is just ridiculous. Good thing public transportation are easy, and plenty little restaurant and 2 little market near by but go to the Carrefour express reasonable price.No I will not come back again and I could find something better with the price we have paid.

Close to Eiffel Tower

Perfect position to the Eiffel Tower which is only a 15minute walk away. Room was small but was one of the largest going around in Paris. Staff were polite and courteousand spoke good English. The room was comfortable but a little cramped and the bed was as a little short but that is the norm for m as i'm quite tall and it's very hard to find a long enough bed.The bathroom was spacious but probably no complimentary shampoo and conditioner was not supplied which i expected from a 3 to 31/2 rated hotel. Our shower sprung a leak on the 2nd day and this was promptly fixed and the shower was ready to use when we got back from our travels. The air conditioner was a little noisy also but it did not affect our sleeping. These are only small criticism has the room and hotel was perfect for our needs as we were out seeing the sights and really only needed a bed to sleep.

On arrival, the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. The lift up to the rooms is tiny. Was a squeeze for my husband to get in with our two bags.(I used the stairs) The room was clean and the aircon worked well. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The room overlooked the front of the hotel and as it is on a busy road we did expect some noise. However, we did get a good sleep. We did not have breakfast or use the small bar so cannot comment on the service t. There is a lovely seating area beside reception where you can chill out.
On checkout, the reception staff were lovely and stored our luggage for us.
The hotel is near two metro stations which was ideal for getting around the city.

Nice little hotel

Pleasant little hotel about 20-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. Room was compact, but got the job done. Very nice bedding and comfortable bed. Free Wifi was adequate. Could rent a North American-to-European electrical adapter at the front desk for 5 euros; I skipped that and discovered a USB port on the side of the flat-screen TV that charged my devices very nicely. Price was very reasonable. Front desk staff were nice. Lots of restaurants nearby, and a few corner stores. 5-minute walk to Cambronne metro station; 1h20 trip to CDG airport via RER + metro, with one change at Denfert-Rochereau. Would stay here again.

The room, per other reviews, was certainly small. I was there alone for business but even for one person, it was tiny. The hotel staff were great, in spite of limited English. After all, it is a French speaking country! The elevator in the hotel is French and likely only accommodates one person at a time with luggage. I stayed on the 6th floor and had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from my room. I LOVED the location. A short 3-4 minute walk to wonderful cafes, restaurants, the Metro, etc. I could walk to city center/the Eiffel Tower in about 30 minutes and another 15-20 to Notre Dame, The Louvre, etc. although the Metro can take you much more quickly if you aren't interested in stopping at little shops and seeing the sights along the way!

Close to major attractions, restaurants, cafes

We stayed there for our first trip to France (our honeymoon!). The front-desk staff were pretty helpful and when told that we were there for our honeymoon, gave us the room with the view of Eiffel Tower. Sizes of rooms might be a problem for North Americans (who are accustomed to bigger hotel rooms), but are reasonable for European hotels. Overall, good value for money.

Convenient accommodation without many frills

I has a positive experience from my stay at this hotel. The reception was always staffed and, although I did not request too much service from them, they helped me with a printout I needed without problems. We spoke in French, but I heard hotel staff speaking in English too to other guests. The room was not big, however it had a reasonable sized desk for me to work on my laptop. The was a safe inside the closet. No fridge or minibar. I would like to say that its size was acceptable for the price paid. The closet was a little bit too small and there were not enough spaces (drawers, shelves) to store all my clothes (I had a change for 9 nights, plus two suits and a number of shirts, sweaters, etc). The bathroom was large, featuring a shower area, however, water pressure at the 4th floor was just sufficient. Not too much surface for my medical purse or other items I usually keep in the bathroom . Room and bathroom were cleaned every day properly. Hotel served a buffet breakfast for a reasonable fee (13 Euro), which I used twice during my stay. The hotel's area has several good restaurants around, do your research on Tripadvisor and it is at few minutes walking distance from the Cambronne subway station, thus you can reach the hotel from the CDG airport with the RER B line changing at Denfert-Rechereau. Mine was a business trip.

New hotel location with a small lift to bring luggage to higher floors. The rooms were comfortable and the washrooms were a good size. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was pricey so we decided to check out the awesome bakery across the street and there are 2 convenience stores nearby that sell fresh fruit! The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the metro and less than 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and very reasonably priced for this location.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We were in Paris in the middle of a heat wave, so we were glad to have air conditioning. The price was pretty good and there are good restaurants in the area, especially a great bakery across the street and down a block. Also convenient to two Metro lines, so it's easy to get around.

Nice stay

The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk to the Eigfel Tower depending on your speed. Room was a decent size and bathroom was too. There was a small coffee maker. Plenty of restaurants within a few blocks.

Nice hotel close to The center

The hotel it's 15 minutes walking to The tour Eiffel and 5 minutes by metro.
There are 2 metro station in a radio of 2 blocks.
People are really friendly and I would be back next time.

This hotel was simply too far off the beat and path. The rooms were rather small but there are better hotels for the same price closer to the center.

Decent hotel close to Eiffel Tower

I would't classify this hotel as a 3 star hotel. I've stayed in better 2 star hotels in Paris that this one. Although it says it has tea/coffee facilities, these aren't available in the room.

In the first morning I was waked up by the noise from the hallway and the neighbouring rooms. I have asked to change the room, and they offered me a room at the last floor, which was smaller. I was asked to return around noon to make the switch. When I returned I was told that I should have been back at the set hour (I was in Paris for a conference, so my free time was limited) to make the switch, and now I have to do it really quick.

Room to small pictures on interenet mislead

The attendant Jonathon told us the taxi cab to our tour would cost us 10euros it was extremely higher and I was not happy. Breakfast is too expensive for only cheese and pastry

Second time at this hotel

This is the second time that we have stayed at ths hotel. The rooms are small but they are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the location is convenient. Sights and Metro are nearby.

Great Service

The hotel is pretty near the Metro station and there are a few eateries and shops. The room is of a good size, comfy beds. The staff is helpful and offers good places to eat and directions. Will highly recommend this place!

Quaint, friendly and convenient

We truly enjoyed our time at this hotel! We were only in Paris for the first time for a few days. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
I did not get the name(s) of those whom worked the day shift or helped with breakfast on the weekend but or was on the day shift but they were excellent as was Jonathan. We asked him questions, he was always helpful, patient and kind. He also was very helpful making us aware of how much things should cost so we when we were out so we were not taken advantage off.
The breakfast was very nice and included a nice variety of pastries, eggs, cereal etc as well as fresh squeezed orange juice!

The only negative was that in our room we awakened the next morning and were getting ready to go explore and found that the base of the toilet was leaking between the floor and the tile. We called to notify the front desk of this problem they had someone come in from housekeeping to check this then got ahold of a mainlance man to fix this right away.

Would stay here again. Close and convenient. We would recommend this place as we as stay there again.

Nice friendly homey hotel with great staff!

Loved my stay here. Felt very comfortable. I have heard so much about the French people disliking Amercans, but I found that they were very lovely people. The staff here were great, all if them! I will go again. It's small 30 rooms, 6 floors, small elevator. Not a lot of extras Americans get used to, but the bathrooms were a nice size and the rooms comfortable for two. Didn't spend too much time there and hopefully you'll get out and see the most beautiful city, but my time there was great!
Thank you staff! I can't say enough. And I finally met Antony before I left!
I want to go back!

You get what you pay for.

Clean, quiet and 5-10minute walk from the metro. It was fine. There were 3 of us to a room so 3 singles were cramped into a double room but for the price we could not complain. New towels everyday and it was clean when we arrived. Great for if you intend to spend most your time outside of the hotel in in the streets of Paris.

good room for Americans

room was small but clean and the bathroom was good sized. short walk to several good restaurants, small market with excellent produce, a bakery, and a metro station. beds were a little too firm and we had trouble understanding how the a/c worked. just one very small lift which we only used with our luggage.

Clean and affordable

The hotel was nice except that the A/C was not working. Thankfully it wasn't terribly hot in Paris during our stay, but the hotel staff wasn't really concerned about it. They didn't make any concession of any sort. I found that to be a bit uncaring.

Best Western can do better

Hotel was close to 3 Metro stations, so could get anywhere. Desk clerks were very helpful in providing tourist information and directions. Paris had a heat wave the whole time we were there (June 5-8). The air conditioning did not work the whole time and the rooms were stifling. Many complaints were registered by numerous guests, but no repairs were made. Did not expect a Best Western hotel not to provide some relief.....maybe a fan for each room.
