Pretty good boutique hotel

Room was quite small though functional. Good location. On a but steps from a Métro station quiet street. The sink faucet has no temperature control and you had to run the water for several minutes before it got vaguely warm. Staff were helpful. Price reasonable for high-season Paris.

This hotel was perfect location and amenity wise. It was a bit poky but we knew that before we travelled as we read other reviews. I was a bit concerned about the elevator as I'm a slightly bigger lady and I'm funny about them holding me😅it's only a 1 person and luggage type of lift. I did end up using it a couple of times as we were on the 5th floor and after a day of walking around Paris, I just couldn't hack the stairs! It was ok, just felt a bit sketchy.

I did see photos of the Eiffel Tower from some balconies on the reviews however we had a balcony facing the front of the building and we couldn't see it so if you want the view, request a high floor that faces the rear of the building.

Staff were lovely, breakfast was exactly as advertised, continental.
Bed was comfy, could hear our neighbours everytime they had \"fun\" but that's not the hotel's fault!

All in all, would book here again.

Tap Hot water was not working during my checkin. They were not ready to provide another room. One of the receptionist Mr. Stephen was very rude. We don’t why he upgraded to a luxury room without hot water. He in fact asked to use Kettle for hot water instead of tap for brushing.

We stayed in this hotel for five nights. The hotel is a minute's walk from the metro, which is very convenient. The rooms are very small, but clean. Cleaning was done every day. Also, the pastels were changed every day. Mr. Robert helped us very well in sorting out the difficulties that arose. We are very grateful to him, thank him very much!

The hotel was nice. Small, clean but perfect for what I needed. The location made it very easy for me to commute. I am from the states. NY to be exact our timing was off of course. Staff in the evening wasn’t the best compared to the day time. Made it uncomfortable to ask for assistance in the evening to avoid getting attitude in return.

We really liked the location of the hotel, in a nice, lively residential neighbourhood, right next to the subway station. The hotel is however due for an upgrade. Other than the bathroom, compact but functional, the rest of the room was a bit outdated, and neighbours' conversations could easily be heard through the walls.

The stuff is really nice and welcoming. They were cleaning my room daily very well. The rooms are small and old, though, one of the lightbulbs was not working. However, the hotel is in a perfect location and the wifi is strong - so it is a good place to work and/or go around.

My stay was great. All the staff were friendly. Except for a new gentleman on my last night. I was there for a weekend and gad not seen him before. My checkout was at 4:30 am since i hadcan early morning flight. He refused to give me a wake up call. When i had to leave, he was sleeping. The main doors were locked and he refused to open it up till he checked things on his system.i felt jailed. I could not leave rvrn if i wanted to. All this when i was getting late for a flight. Even though he knew i had to go. Id rven cleared all my dues on day 1 to avoid this. Very annoyed. Almost missed my flight cause of this!

Adorable, comfortable, affordable stay

Perfect, cute room for a solo traveler. The rooms aren't large, but they are adorable - plenty of room to sleep, a desk to work, a large wardrobe, and a nice rain shower. My room even had a balcony and a mini fridge. The location is great - right next to the metro stop, a grocery store next door, and plenty of pastry shops and pharmacies nearby. The only oddity is that the room keys are finicky, so the staff asks that you leave your room key at the front desk when you go out so that it doesn't demagnetize. However, the front desk staff is always available and is very friendly.

Just what we needed. Great location.

Hotel location is brilliant. 1 minute walk from the metro (Convention), where you can easily transfer onto another line and get to where you need to go in no time.

The surrounding area of the hotel is a mini, less busy version of what inner city Paris is like. Full of patisseries, restaurants, and even large chain takeaways. Also, it’s right next door to a supermarket for any room snacks or drinks.

If you want to walk, Eiffel Tower is just a few long straight roads away, it takes about 30 minutes, but you get to take in the character and culture of what Paris is like without the busy streets.

The hotel room was right for us. A young couple staying for 2 nights, a balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower (room 60), kettle, tv, decent shower and comfy bed. It’s all we needed. It was clean and couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms or the street.

Staff were friendly, patient (we spoke little French, they spoke good English), knowledgable and would definitely stay here again.

All in all, great stay.

A great hotel and the price was right. it's a 30 sec walk to the metro, a grocery store is right next door, the room was French sized, but not tiny. had a safe, mini fridge, table and chairs. the view is amazing over the City and you can clearly see the Eiffel tower from some rooms. Francoise was incredible and an actual highlight of our trip. Also there IS a lift.

As second time visitors we did not expect to get the smallest room in the hotel. This happened despite 2 emails I sent to the hotel in November and a phone call in December. There was no response to the emails and despite being advised during the phone call that I would hear from the manager I received no response.
I understand that mistakes happen and I believe it's how you respond to the mistake that is important. In this case their response was far from acceptable. And, on top of it all, the mattress on the bed in the room we were finally, reluctantly, given was shot and sagged terribly in the middle.
This hotel is in a very nice area (15th district) and right beside a Metro station but next time we are in Paris we will find other accommodation.

The shower overflowed any time it was turned on due to the design of the bathroom and I thought it was weird that they asked guests to leave the room key at the front desk everytime you leave the hotel. The AC/heater also seemed to be centrally controlled vs controlled in the room where you could set your own room temp. Overall though the room was nice, the bed was very soft and hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

The help desk staff was extremely rude and arrogant, the worst I met having been travelled around the world. It seems like he has a strong discrimination against yellow skin people. Strong not recommend if you are non-European or from Asia.

Very nice room but no twin beds.

Arrived at this hotel which is quite far out from Gare du Nord to find that our request for twin beds had not been passed on to the hotel from Expedia. There was just the one man in charge and no other staff and we were told we couldn't have twin beds until the next day. This was unacceptable for us so we said we would separate the beds and make them up ourselves if he gave up the linen. He offered us a free breakfast for the inconvenience which we accepted.
Predictably, on check out, the different man on reception knew nothing of this offer and was quite unpleasant about it. He reluctantly agreed to honour it with a bad grace.
The room itself was very nice with a big bathroom and walk in shower. It was a pity the stay was spoiled by the inefficiency of Expedia and the unpleasantness of the manager.

Close to station; small bedrooms with a barely working AC machine. Window couldn't close so had to hold it closed with our luggage. Could hear every noise the neighbors make. Okay for a 1 night stay but be aware the pictures look nothing like the room.

Hotel was just ok, looked better online.
We had to switch rooms the second night - likely this was an option. Our first room many things (light, table) were broken. There was a huge dip in the floor, which was a trip hazard. The hotel did not seem to think these were issues. There was mould behind the curtains, and the curtains were dirty. It looks like they just threw left over furniture pieces into this room.

Our second room was better - but hotel staff and Expedia were frustrating to deal with and there were some misunderstandings. Overall they were friendly, and rooms were cleaned daily. It’s ok for a budget, close to subway, and good area. Next time I think I’ll just spend some more money for a different place.

The classic double room is smaller than the picture. It is slightly bigger than the double bed in the room. No place for your large trunk. The shower stall is very small and the 90 degree angled curtain could not contain the water. The bathroom flooded with every shower.

The web says sound proofed room, but street noise, people conversations, and cigarette smokes directly came into 2nd story room.

The staff was friendly, but did not do anything on the complaints.

They claim their superior rooms are better.

I will not stay in the classic double again.

A great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Auguste. Although it is located a little outside of the tourist area, the metro station was seconds away from the Hotel in a charming little square. There were several good restaurants nearby as well, plus a little grocery store right next door.
Our room at the hotel was quite small but very clean and well equipped. The breakfast area was comfortable and also very clean. The breakfast selection was excellent.
Most of all, the staff were exceptionally polite and very very helpful in solving a booking problem we had. I would highly recommend the Hotel Auguste.

Modern, stylish and clean hotel

This hotel is located in really nice area and I can stay that I will stay there again. Room were small but stylish and clean. My husband loved the bed as it was really comfortable. The only minus was that on the check out morning we were asked to pay for the stay (I have prepaid through Expedia). Hotel staff wasn't nice and even did not let us speak but at the end we got there. Overwise lovely place in the nice area and a good price.

We loved our time in Paris! The location was perfect! I only have a couple small complaints. The bathroom, especially the shower was TINY for my 6 foot, 1 inch tall husband who is not overweight, but very in shape and broad-shouldered. Heck, it was tiny for me and I'm 5 foot, 3 inches! Also, I left a towel on the floor because it was dirty and they just hung it back up. It was visibly dirty...I had used it to wipe off dirty feet after wearing sandals on all the sandy paths near the Louvre. The same happened with the sheets. They were visibly dirty after our first night, but never got changed.

Room a little small, bed exceptionally comfortable, despite early misgivings regarding its softness.Room had four lights: entrance, main room and two bed. One dressing table, one wardrobe and one bedside table. No tea or coffee. Bathroom small, good toilet (slightly loose seat). Washbasin small. Shower tiny. Plenty of hot water though. Overall a very clean, tidy and most of all convenient flop for the weary traveller..We didn't buy the breakfast (at 10 euros), instead went over the road to the Convention restaurant (5.50 euros). City tax at the end of the stay was about 6 euros. Would return.

Small but convenient local hotel

The room was very small but clean. Once you are in the room, you will have to get in the bed. The lift could only accomodate 2 average size adults with 2 carry-on luggages. The WiFi did not work. Out of the 4 receptionists, only Bachir was helpful and the morning woman was rude and unhelpful ! The location was good and close to Metro.Would consider other hotels if visit Paris again !

La chambre matelas ok mais les oreillers une horreur (des boules de duvet à l’intérieur )
Pour le prix payé presque 400€ pour 2 nuits , c’est une honte !!

Je sais pas comment vous faites pour maintenir vos 3 étoiles mais c’est clairement pas à la hauteur
Moralité Pour le même prix , j’avais le choix plus proche du centre et avec de bien meilleures prestations.

Rett og slett en svært skuffende opplevelse!

Ble svært skuffet over hotellet på flere områder. Ble møtt av en lukt av urin i resepsjonsområdet da vi kom, som vi kjente under hele oppholdet, samt ei dame, som ikke snakka engelsk, men det kom en engelsktalende ansatt etterhvert. Rommet (superior) var lite og trangt, loftsrom med skrå vegger/tak. Lite dagslys. Avflassing av maling på vegger, defekte lamper ved seng og på bad, defekt dolokk, delvis tett avløp i vasken, lite trykk på vannet i dusjen. Luksuriøse toalettartikler viste seg å være små plastpakker med såpe, alt annet enn hva luksus er. Ekstra smal dobbeltseng med kun en dyne. Hotellets korridorer var stygge og svært nedslitte. Frokosten var svært enkel. Brød, croissanter, tørr kake. En skive skinke og en skive ost til hver gjest. Ingen påfyll av det som gikk tomt. Uvant å få såpass dårlig frokost på hotell, svært skuffende. Personalet smilte ikke til deg. Opplevde at en ansatt satt ved disken og sov i resepsjonen da vi kom, og senere lå hun henslengt med beina oppi to stoler ved inngangsdøra. Uproft! Beliggenhet nær metroen var positivt, og vi fikk utsikt til Eiffeltårnet. Styr unna dette hotellet dersom du er ute etter et hotellopphold med litt service, litt komfort og den gode følelsen av velvære på hotell. Vi er et voksent par og har bodd mye på hotell, men bare én gang på noe dårligere enn dette. Bildene på nett stemmer ikke med virkeligheten i dag. Hotels.com bør vurdere om dette er et hotell de ønsker å tilby sine kunder.

Arrivé à 22h30, chambre à 15⁰C, le boitier du commande de la clim ne fonctionnait pas. Pas de responsable joignable pour me plaindre. Le veilleur de nuit très embêté mais très comprehensif et sympa, m'a proposé une couette !!! Je suis sorti diner et au retour à 23h00, le chauffage enfin fonctionnait. Impression très moyenne.

Camera da hotel da incubo

Soggiorno di 3 notti, prima notte da incubo: camera evidentemente in condizioni decadenti, macchie sui muri e tendina della doccia che lascia presagire allagamento del minuscolo bagno ad ogni doccia... ma il peggio erano le finestre malfunzionanti, più che spifferi erano proprio ventate in camera in piena notte (l'inverno a Parigi non é affatto mite...)
Ho chiesto immediatamente il cambio camera, che peró mi é stato concesso solo il 2' giorno, non prima di aver scoperto che anche l'asciugacapelli non funzionava, e cosí mi sono trasferito nella seconda camera con i capelli ancora bagnati.
Devo dire che la seconda camera era onesta, da sufficienza piena.

Bonne expérience, hormis le petit-déjeuner.

Seul bémol: le petit déjeuner de piètre qualité. Café américain, baguette bas de gamme, pas de beurre demi sel, pas de lait, pas de fruits, épaule = jambon. En revanche chambre spacieuse et très bien décorée et aménagée, idem pour la salle d'eau. Personnel serviable et attentif. Reste à mettre à niveau le petit-déjeuner et cela sera parfait.

Le personnel était agréable tres gentil par contre le frigo je n'ai pas utilisé parce que c'était sale le meuble dans la chambre était très sale la chambre était tres petite c'était pas comme les photos du site de même pour la salle de bain on entendait tout avec la chambre a côté ses dommages surtout que c'est un hôtel 3 étoiles

Petit hotel t
Yrès proche du métro ligne 12 et variétés de commerces et restaurants.
Chambre double/ twin deluxe.
Petite chambre et SDB impeccables.
Très très propre!!!
1 nuit tranquille et calme.
Le moins = Escaliers trop sombres.
Merci pour l'acceuil de tout le personel ainsi que Charlote.
Je reviendra si besoin, oh que oui!!!

Dusche extrem klein - sogar für eine sehr schlanke Person nicht akzeptabel. Der Vorhang klebte immer wieder am Körper. Keine Belüftung im Bad.
Schimmel am Fenster im Schlafzimmer.

Nous avons toujours séjourné dans cet hôtel sans aucun problème.
Cette fois ci nous sommes tombés sur une chambre non rénovée qui coûtait plus de 150€(au deuxième étage chambre 20)La moquette douteuse,
Les abat jours déchirés,la moisissure sur certaines parties des murs. Heureusement nous n’y avons dormi qu une nuit.

The smallest elevator we have ever seen which can only take 2 people, not even space for our baggages after my husband and I got in ( mind that we are not big :-) ). Staff looked cold and quite reluctant to reply. Room and toilet are small and old. Breakfast no good either. We had our breakfast at the nearly McDonald’s. There was something unanticipated such that we arrived at Paris 2 days earlier and we found this hotel among the very limited available choices in the 15 arrondissement in the last minute. Luckily we moved to the much better Ibis Eiffel Tower after 2 days. What a big difference! More sarcastic, we paid less for ibis WITH BREAKFAST! No kidding!

My two cents: never book a hotel in Paris last minute especially in peak seasons! And some hotels are worth a few more pennies as they add colours to your whole journey *v<

Muy buena ubicación, a unos pasos de la estación Convention del metro. La habitación es pequeña, pero está bien si solo la necesitas para descansar. El hotel cuenta con lo necesario.

No les quedaba ninguna Habitación doble superior (la que habíamos reservado) y nos dijeron que nos daban una twin (superior). Tuvimos problemas con el display de la climatización y el primer lunes laborable mandaron un técnico a arreglarlo. Todo perfecto!

J'avais fait une réservation et confirmé par carte, par téléphone par la suite parce que il semblerait qu'il y ait eu un problème avec la carte (alors qu'elle fonctionne partout ailleurs très bien). Au téléphone la personne me confirme qu'il n'y a aucun problème, que la réservation est maintenue. Le lendemain, la personne arrive et on lui annonce qu'il n'y a pas de place dans l'hôtel. Pas d'autres commentaires
