This was my first trip to Paris. Clementine and the rest of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, whilst the room was warm, comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good with a wide choice at the buffet. Besides being close to tram and metro stations, it is a straightforward twenty-minute walk, if you are a jazz fan like myself, to the famous and historic Le Bal Blomet club. The hotel offers very good value and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We stayed in Suites 113, room is spacious and bed is comfortable. However, room is next to the main road and above the metro track. Very noisy and wont recommend staying in this room.
Staff was kind and always willing to help. Will stay in the hotel on my next visit and located mins away to metro and tram station.

Hotel paris Vaugirard

I had a wonderful 5 days. The services provided overall were excellent but I was a little bit disappointed about the TV. The channels were not working properly. I think they can sort that matter out quite easily. I will definitely recommend this hotel as it surrounded with takeaway shops, bus stop, train stations and tram stops as well all in working distance. The breakfast services in the morning was outstanding a lot of food to choose from.

The hotel was great for our family of four. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The bed was really comfortable. Bus stop outside the hotel took us right to Eiffel Tower in less then 25 mins! Walking distance to the train station made it easy to get around the city and even Disneyland Paris.

Staff were very pleasant and breakfast was very good however the hotel needs a complete refurbishment. Carpets were dirty, bathroom was mouldy and flooring was ripped. Room smelt awful and thd sofa bed was broken making it uncomfortable to sleep on.

Hotel conveniently located near subway station (2-3 min. walk). Room was well equipped and clean, but it was located on the 7th floor, while elevator only went up to 6th floor. The 7th floor was previously an attic that was finished as living space, no big deal. Breakfast was good, and lobby had a free coffee and sparkling water machines, which was a nice bonus.

Our overall stay is great. The hotel is in perfect location, very close to metro station with good restaurants and bakery within 5 mins walking. They offer free tea/coffee/hot chocolate which is a bonus. Just be aware that the bathroom is very small and if you stay in 7th floor, the tiny elevator stops in 6th, which means you have to walk up 1 floor. For us, it’s no problem. Highly recommend.

Location was convenient and staff were friendly/helpful but the bathroom was not clean. The sink was dirty, the towels smelled like feet and were stained.

To be fair, I didn’t ask to have it fixed because I was just there for one night, the bed sheets were clean/fresh, and I was jet lagged and too exhausted to deal with it. I mentioned it to the front staff when I checked out and they were very responsive about it.

I wouldn’t stay here again though because it was too noisy. It sits right on top of a metro line that ran every few minutes, so a no go for light sleepers.

Had two nights at Hotel Vaugirard in June 2025 for the tennis, good location right next to a tram stop so only 30 minutes via tram and metro to Gare du Nord for Eurostar, etc, and at 4.50 Euros much cheaper and quicker than a taxi.

Very clean, comfortable hotel and was quiet during the night so perfect for my trip. Double room was plenty big enough and air conditioning very helpful. Staff very friendly and helpful and all that I dealt with spoke very good English.

Only negative was the shower gel dispenser was empty but that was quickly rectified.

Plenty of nice bars and restaurants close by.

I definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again.

The property itself was quite nice, the elevator is very small and only one person with a suitcase can fit at a time but it was a minor problem for me. Other than the the facility was nice, no complaints and the staff was extremely friendly. It’s right next to the metro so it was very easy to get to all popular attractions. Overall a great place to stay especially for the price!

Hotel Vaugirard at Retromobile 2025

An older property that we have stayed in before. Visiting Retromobile at Paris Expo was very easy. Breakfasts OK but could benefit from a few tweaks such as a cooked option (very British). Staff were great. Hotel could do with an overall refurbishment but very comfortable and quiet. TV should have more international channel options.

Stay in the family suite with kids for 4 nights and here is our experience.

Negative things

1. During our complete stay we didn't have the room key card, their system was down which generated keys and the staff was opening the room door whenever the guest needed it.

2. False fire alarms, during our stay there were 2 alarms one around 7 pm and the other in the night at 3 am which woke us up for no reason and it was very very loud.

3. Family suite is only on floor 7 and there very very small lift that only goes to the 6 floor and we struggle with kids, luggage and stroller to go back and forth.

4. City tax per person per night, at the time of booking on Expedia it was not clear that they charge city tax for each night and they charge more tax than it was originally shown in our booking detail. Also, city tax is for only adults but we charged for 4 guests even if there are 2 adults and 2 kids.

5. Also, this hotel is expensive as compared to others, we booked it because it has very high rating so our expectations was high which definitely not met.

Positive things

1. The staff was very friendly and kind. Always offered help.
2. Cleanliness of rooms.
3. Free coffee and luggage storage.

Great travellers hotel on the 15th. Easy check in and check out with very friendly and helpful staff. Room was big and the coffee/water refill station was a lifesaver. It was a very good stay. All the staff was incredible and had an enormous patience to explain everything, always with a sunrise in their faces.
The beds were very confortable. Temperature in the room was ok. Everything was perfectly clean.
Breakfast was incredible, with very good quality products and a big variety of them.
The only \"things\" ... Sometimes you can feel the Metro a little bit all over the area, but not too much. And the last rooms access at the top of hotel need to do a last piece of stairs, but it was not a problem for us.
We think it was the best hotel in the area ...
Very very satisfied... Price quality unbeatable.... !

Spacious hotel, great area

The hotel staff was friendly, the room was spacious (fit 2 adults and 2 kids nicely) and I loved having a lookout balcony. This is a nice area with great dining options and very close to the metro making getting around super easy.
Areas of improvement are the room looks generally outdated and the duvet on both beds were dirty and stained which was really disappointing. Also, we chose to opt out of the breakfast buffet because it really did not look appetizing.

The only view from our room was of a construction site. There was mould in the bathroom and stains on the carpet. The staff were very kind and helpful they advised us on how to get around locally and answered all of our questions.

Chose this hotel for it's location and the fact the room was soundproof. Apart from a very slight mumble from what I presume is the handy location of the underground, the room was blissfully quiet.
Internet was good.
Room was a tad cosy, but as I'm only sleeping there, it was fine.
Breakfast was traditional with fresh bread and morning pastries. Yogurt, cereals, selection of fruit juice and choice of scrambled or boiled eggs.
The breakfast staff VERY attentive in cleaning, and general helpfulness, ascwere the front desk staff.
Great stay and would definitely stay again.

Ps lots of nice eateries nearby.

We had a great stay in a Junior Suite. The kids slept on the pull out and the bed was really comfortable. We arrived early and they let us sit and drink coffee and hot chocolate while we waited for our room to be ready, which they arranged to have available for us ASAP. We were delighted to find we had a full bathtub, and the water pressure and temperature was amazing. There's a cute courtyard and everyone was really great. Would definitely stay again!

Great find in Paris!

I stayed here for 5 days and it was wonderful. Location, location, location. It is very close to the exhibition center and perfect for visiting Wine Paris. It is also close to the metro. I had a very small room to start with no shower (bath tub only) and no safe. I asked the awesome Airton at the desk if he could move me and he did without hesitation! The new room was large, with a shower and safe and really excellent. I will book this again for next year. Restaurants in the area are not great, but the patisserie next door is wonderful. This is a great find in Paris!

Lovely Hotel

Stayed for 4 nights and had an amazing time. The location is great with lots of places to eat and a supermarket a few yards away. The train and tram is just a few meters away that will take you to the center of Paris.Stayed in a family room and loved the layout like where two beds are separated by a door. Its like sleeping in a room with 2 rooms in it. Was happy that we would return at later in the day with our room being cleaned. Yes they cleaned the room everyday during our stay. Staff are also helpful and friendly. It is also within the budget and not very pricey. Our stay had been comfortable. Would have been more amazing if we had additional or larger tables especially for a family room with 4 guests. Overall it was great and would recommend this hotel.

Awesome weekend getaway!

Took a long weekend trip! What can we say… the hotel was GREAT! The room was great for our family of 4 and was directly beside the metro station. Plenty of good food options right around! The service staff was gracious enough to let us leave our stroller for our little one downstairs so we would not have to lug it back and forth from the room! All in all 5 out of 5 on our trip!

Great location, steps from the trams, metro and Palais de Sports,

Hotel was clean, although a little modernising of the room would be good.

There was a loud rumble when in the room every 5 minutes or so during peak times - assume this was a train - but it didn’t effect my sleep or stay.

Bathroom was nice and modern. Bedroom was super comfortable and loved the little Juliette balcony overlooking the courtyard.
Nice communal areas to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a cup of complimentary tea/coffee.

The hotel is very close to the Porte de Versailles Métro stop at the edge of Paris. It was clean and well-kept. The tiny elevator and narrow corridor led to a very clean and tiny room with a comfortable bed and spotless bathroom (shower) with plenty of hot water. My suitcase had to remain vertical or stay on the bed; there was no other place for it. The room would have been difficult for a couple. Reception staff were unfailingly charming and helpful

first off I am very disappointed in my stay. when I first checked in the host was very passive aggressive and I could tell she did not like Americans, She made a very poor taste in a joke saying that \"you're okay , I don't need to check your passport, you're not a terrorist \" I was highly offended but I smiled because wanted to relax and put my bags down. WAIT!!! There's more after I checked in and placed my bags in my room I stepped out for a couple hours thinking my room is secure and safe. When I came back my door keep wouldn't open to my room, comes to find they overbooked my room and there was other peoples belongings in that room I was so pist...... I would recommend staying here at ALL......

Hotel was satisfactory but a little noisy with the metro running underneath. I also had a power outage on two of the evenings. The location for me was good, close to the exhibition centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower had a small entrance which made it a little difficult to get in.
