We arrived and we're upgraded which was nice.
The room was clean and modern.
We wanted to use the spa and had to pay £10.00 per hour pp which wasn't expected. Then the steam room wasnt very hot so that was disappointing. This should of been mentioned before we booked. The breakfast was good.
Not somewhere I would visit again in a hurry. Very pricey for what it is.

The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The ameneties were all that I hoped they would be when booking the stay (Sauna/Gym/Pool/Jacuzzi).

I was notified of any additional chargers well before hand and in a clear and concise manner.

The food was of a very good quality and in large enough portions.

I cannot speak to the Bar, as I rarely drink.

Really helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great location, upgraded rooms were good, lovely bar and outdoor terrace and we enjoyed an hour in the spa (N.B. not obvious when I booked the hotel but this is £10 extra per person for an hour and must be booked). Breakfast was good, only minor issue were the undercooked boiled eggs but there was plenty of other choice.

I was only here a night but it was great. The person at check-in (David) was really friendly. I didn't use any of the facilities, as I was attending a party but ... oh, the bed - probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel. I liked that there were black out curtains as well. There was noise from outside, but only to be expected form a town centre hotel I always take ear plugs)

We stayed at the hotel last night and had a great experience. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in the spa today and David at the front desk.

We had a small problem with our first room, but David was amazing and sorted everything out quickly by moving us to another room with no hassle at all. His customer service really made a difference to our stay.

Overall, we had a lovely visit and would definitely stay again!

Great location, lovely refurbished room and really comfy bed, bar area is cosy and a good environment to chill with a cocktail, spa area looks very relaxing, although we didnt get to use it this time we will definitely be back to use it next time, everything was up to date and modern. From arrival to departure everything was perfect. Reception were great, checkin was smooth, we parked in the hotel multi storey, the rooms were lovely and comfortable especially the bed. We had a delicious breakfast. Will definitely use again.

We arrived for a 3 oclock checkin and the room wasnt ready. There was no forewarning and we were told come back in an hour and mayb e it might be ready then!!

We had to leave our luggage, coulddnt get changed into clothing for going out, and randomly kill an hour in Guildford!

I think it’s mean to charge £10 for a quick swim ( which is what most people want) in the morning. On top of £177 which I paid for the room. The beer was meant to be Fullers Pride It was £7 per pint and was so gassy, my colleague and I couldn’t drink it. THAT is not how London Pride is served. I have stayed twice and will be looking for better value elsewhere

The spa area was great and fantastic and the staff was very helpfull but the hotel staff was not as friendly even when it was not busy. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was not working and when I asked for ice at the bar I was told that ice machine was broken for a long time.

Rachel was very welcoming on reception and explained everything. Rachel was engaging about our stay and that we had visited the hotel several times before. Breakfast was booked and had plenty of options in the morning and was more than satisfactory. The rooms are clean, warm and pleasant. Previously we had enjoyed the spa but did not have the time this visit. However, we will be visiting again in the summer. Great location for us and secure parking.

The unit under the TV the door was not secure on the hinges and the room could do with a fresh coat of paint.
The blind was also damaged, one of the stiffeners was coming out of the blind.

The hotel location is great and perfect for shopping and good restaurants. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and it’s an improvement to the previous room in colour. The televisions could do with an upgrade though and the bed had a fairly plush mattress topper which didn’t really hide the fact that it wasn’t a new mattress. The shower is rather small even though the bathroom is a good size. They have moved the fridge into the closet which reduce the amount of hanging space and drawer space for clothing which made a difference as we’re staying for a week.

Impeccable service from reception staff. Jenny was extremely professional, courteous and helpful. Excellent service. Well organised from check in and thtoughout our stay. She organised for our room to be decorated, plus complimentary drinks and cakes.

Enjoyed the meal at Harbar restuarant. Lovely meal. Bday cake. Very enjoyable. The staff are clearly well trained!

One of the main reasons I booked this hotel and paid the full advertised price was for the spa facilities, which were clearly promoted as part of the stay. On arrival, I was informed that the spa was out of order and unavailable.

This was extremely disappointing and not what I paid for. Had I been informed in advance, I would not have proceeded with the booking or would have expected a reduced rate. No prior notice, only alternative was discounted treatments which was sufficient given me staying with my elderly nan who is unable to use any of the treatments this significantly impacted our stay.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing little getaway from our busy lives here. Much needed break. They were so accommodating, the beds are so comfy, the spa was lovely and so were the cocktails. The staff were so professional and kind.

Be aware the hotels.com profile advertises the spa facilities, but there’s an additional fee for using. Stayed in lots of hotels through hotels.com and this is the first time trying to add on fees for using advertised facilities.

Parking major problem no clear instructions so parked in the wrong place and got a parking ticket. 80% of fine offset against hotel bill.
Slightly disappointing to have to pay £10 each to use the spa facilities. Jacuzzi not very warm.
Only 1 route down to reception from floor so long walk of at end of the corridor.
All other aspects of hotel very good with good service

The room was more than we expected, very modern, clean, very comfortable bed and linen and appreciated the complimentary bottles of water each day, high quality toiletries and huge, soft bath towels.

Was a little disappointed we had to ask for a bath mat and milk wasn't replenished but we got some from reception.

We booked two rooms and had a pleasant stay. We drove to the Harbour and in a busy town like Guildford it was difficult to find and the parking was awkward, meaning you had to book in first, entering your reg number at the front desk before being directed to the parking. Not terrible, but awkward when lots of other people are trying to do the same thing. We’d attempted to book two large double joined rooms. The property contacted us earlier in the day, to advise us this was not possible, but we had two ‘accessible’ rooms next to each other. Accessible being for disabled persons. This was generally fine, with a wet room instead of your usual shower, although shaving was out of the question, as the shaving mirror was nearly at knee height. There was disparity between the rooms, with one having dressing gowns and slippers in the room, the other neither. This being said, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant, both for dinner and breakfast was excellent. I would happily stay here again.

Stay was generally very good. 4/5 stars - lost a star as there wasn’t a kettle in the room. The room had recently been refurbished and was lovely.
Parking charges are high at £18 per night- on top of the already steep price. We didn’t then add breakfast as the cost would have been so much. But the kettle in the room is a disappointment.

would have been good. However Hotels.com had a website error and it booked my room 3 times accidentaly. I applied for a refund but Harbour hotel said there was nothing they could do. So i paid over 1100 pounds for a 1 night stay . Hotels.com tried to get the refund off the hote but was refused. So i wont be using the hotel or Hotel.com again.

The hotel was perfectly fine, but there was nothing outstanding though if we return to Guildford we shall stay there again. The breakfast choice was excellent.

The soap dispenser for the bath is attached in a position which can't be reached without standing up. Obviously positioned by someone who only ever uses a shower.

Hotel is lovely but felt as though it was lacking the little touches for a ‘luxury’ hotel.
Tea/coffee/kettle hidden in a cupboard rather than out on the side in the room with no complementary biscuits (a little thing but you’d expect for a luxury hotel). No toilet brush in the bathroom and no towel to place on the floor when you get out of the shower.

Rooms were lovely and clean. Breakfast was nice and the cocktails are very good. I could hear a lot of noise throughout the night, especially doors slamming. Parking is very expensive. We paid to go in the spa, but weren't told before we went in that the plunge pool and sauna were out of use. Pool is very small.
