I had asked for a quite room, which was confirmed at check-in.
But we were woken up so many times, as room faced the front and as we found out during the night they had a funcion on and people were leaving they were loud and this happened at various times which woke us both up.

The room was amazing, brilliant views over the gardens and we saw deer, squirrels, a fox and rabbits all with half an hour. (Room 501)
The room was very spacious for our family and very clean. Our boys loved the balcony and yoga ball! I loved the extra room.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially in the restaurant.
The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and good quality.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Dog friendly- they provided a padded bed and bowls for our whippet.
Bit of a walk to Cobham but t there are some forestry walks nearby if you have a dog.
Food in restaurant is good.

Good recently decorated room, with comfy bed, pillows not the best, seemed to be full of air. We took our dog with us and the charge was £40 which we found very high, there was nothing supplied for the dog, however we did have yoga equipment in our room !! Food was average and not a lot of choice. You have to pay overnight parking fee. Staff very attentive, friendly and efficient but hotel very average.

Room was in an annex, smelled damp and musty, heat came on without turning it on and could not cool the room again.
One mornings’ room service breakfast was 15 mins early and the next was an hour late.

The bed was worn down and uncomfortable.
The walls were paper thin, I heard everything from the hallway and the lodger above me.

This is primarily a business hotel, with lots of corporate meetings, activities etc. Rooms are comfortable etc. and for a quick stay it is perfect. But not really a family hotel.

A lovely hotel, with THE best breakfast

It has been 10 years since we stayed here before. We found the hotel welcoming with plenty of parking available. The hotel is well kept and in lovely surroundings. We stayed in a ground-floor patio room. It was supposed to be a \"wellness room\" but there were no additions to the room as advertised. Having said that, the room itself was lovely with a large bed and a large TV. The only downside was the low water pressure so it was a dissappointing shower.
The best part was breakfast, which is worth every penny. There was a large selection of hot and cold food, and it was delicious. We will stay here again, but won't leave it another 10 years this time!

Would certainly return

Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea / coffee (but no biscuits or water), excellent hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Outside seating area by the bar was lovely, restaurant clean. All staff we came across were approachable and professional. Single only downside was that guests slamming doors during the night was very loud. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Hotel ok, read review about dinner before booking

This hotel was booked for us to stay in overnight ready to go to Hampton Court Palace the next day. The room was ok, i didnt like the Taylors coffee but that could just be my personal taste, room and ensuite was clean.
I couldn't easily get to the side of the bed because a table and chair were in the way. I moved this out the way but ir wasn’t easy because the chair was heavy and quite large.

Staff were friendly although I'm still waiting to hear back about what I paid and a refund because the food options for dinner was not what I expected.

It was on par with a cafe where you'd go for a fry up or pie but very expensive! We paid for half board with the intentions of having a nice meal and drinks without needing to leave the hotel. Unfortunately, the standard of the restaurant area and menu options meant we went elsewhere. If we'd known the restaurant was like this, we wouldn't have paid for half board, only breakfast.

There was plenty of food options for breakfast. There were pastries, fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, cereal with olenty of condiments.

I probably wouldnt book this hotel again and try somewhere else bit if you know what to expect for dinner, I think you’ll be ok. It just wasn't what we wanted.

Hopefully Tom's manager from reception will get back to me soon about a refund for the dinner that was added to the booking.

Great hotel and experienced welcoming staff. Rooms very clean and with air conditioning. Good breakfast but expensive at £24. Location good with a car near A3 and M25. Local town of Cobham and Brooklands for supermarkets. Fridge in room but access to microwave would be useful.

Stop charging for Parking!

A very acceptable stay that might have scored higher but for the irritating charge for parking.
Whilst close to the M25/A3 the hotel sits on its own grounds with a large car park, so what’s the charge about??
Nice helpful staff, restaurant and breakfast fine, just the parking irritant.

Good hotel choice

Very well run hotel. Rooms are good sized. Beds comfortable. Bathroom a little small but with a good shower. Air conditioning makes it a good choice when weather heats up. Staff are very attentive. Breakfast good but a little overpriced. Tried to eat in the restaurant but the meals did not live up to the hotels reputation which was only drawback for me.

Good room, great bathroom, comfy large bed and very quiet.
Good breakfast and bar.
Down side £8 per night for parking is expensive for Hilton members, seemed to be a lot of people just driving in and out as barrier was up most of our stay. They charged me for 1 night not 2 as I complained. Also very bad traffic all around the hotel for next 8 weeks.

Pleasant with a hint of rash

The staff were very friendly, service was good and we enjoyed a few short walks in the surrounding woodland. However my wife and I found a number of small stains around our room. The first night we stayed, my wife couldn’t sleep well at all, the sheets gave us both a rash. Hers was very severe, we both had lumps and itchiness after having spent just one night, so unfortunately we had to sleep on top of the quilt our second night, in an attempt to relieve some of the irritation and discomfort. Overall a nice location, but one of the main priorities of people booking a hotel is the quality of sleep they will get, which is where this hotel let us down.

There are roadworks being done on the road that the hotel is located, so I was not able to easily access the hotel. After a long drive here, I could not find the access road, so phoned the front dress. When I explained the situation to Francesca, she initially gave the advise to 'just find another way'. I had to ask her why alternative directions were not available on their website. Then explained I had two children with me & am unfamiliar with the area before she did eventually look up how I could access the hotel. Not a very good first impression, but one which could have been avoided if the hotel would have given information about the road closure on their website.

Staircase's with no handrails - wires coming out of ceiling by a lift entrance 1st floor.
Restricted wine selection due to having parties and all the cheaper end of the wine selection out of stock, for a professional hotel and in party season you would think they could plan a little better.
Inclusive meal menu had as many \"pay extra\" selections as the included choices.
Un-collected trays in corridor for rooms.
High parking charges.
Cold rooms on arrival.

I normally state at the Premier Inn at Cobham but it was full, so thought I'd try the Hilton.

First shock was they charge you £8 a night for the privilege of parking in their car park; now I can live with city centre hotels doing this, but this is a country hotel and therefore just a budget airline style rip off.

However, the biggest issue was the power failure that left my room without water in the bathroom; I had to attend an important family event unshowered and unshaved. When I enquired about some level of refund, I was told the manager would contact me, they never have.

I was very impressed with the air conditioning at Hilton Cobham - I was able to choose my own comfort level not like many hotels - even many of the larger hotel chains - where someone else decides your comfort level
I will certainly be using Hilton hotels again

Stayed at this hotel many times, and in the same room before. New reception manager very friendly and helpful.
What was not so friendly was what had been left in the toilet bowl and appeared to have been festering for a few hours. I am no prude but was quite shocked as the room was otherwise very well cleaned. A long flush cleared the problem but soured what would otherwise have been an excellent stay.

What A Shambles.

We arrived after a difficult journey from Norfolk for our two night stay, we/thur 22/23 of May, and had booked and paid well in advance in December’23.
On arrival at the Hilton Cobham, we walked into a chaotic foyer.
When our turn came to book in, we were asked to follow the man on reception, and to our confusion, we were ushered into the bar, and were left there for a while.
On the receptionist return we were told that our room had been given to someone else.
He then told us we could stay in an “annex”, but if we wanted breakfast at the hotel, we would have to get a taxi each morning…..after we’d picked ourselves up off the floor, we told him that was a non starter.
So, off he went again, then can back and told us that we’d have to go, as there was no other rooms left, he then gave us a post-it note with a scribbled address on it of another hotel.
We were absolutely fuming, but by now, tiredness and hunger had got the better of us.
We were then duly ushered out of the building like a bad smell.
Apparently, we were one of five guests who had lost their rooms that day.
Never had to deal with such incompetent, evasive hotel staff.
We were treated shamefully.

Great location for visiting family, nice and clean everywhere and newly refurbished, SO quiet, room was comfortable and a good size. Downsides… we were shocked to find out we had to pay £8 extra to park over night - I think if your leaving your car and going on holiday via Heathrow then I understand a extra charge but I haven’t ever had to pay to park at a hotel I was already paying £200 per night for.m (with no real pre-warning). The chap that checked us in was also quite obnoxious, maybe he shouldn’t be working at the front desk greeting people with a general unapproachable manor. Awful shower/bath pressure.

whist we fully understand chirstmas parties will be taking place at this time of year we were disappointed by the loud noise of the music and would have appreciated a room location away from conference rooms, leaving guests attending the parties to have rooms near the conference rooms
