Perfect! Couldn't fault it at all. Room was lovely and cosy and SO clean, with everything you need. Food was great, i ordered for lunch and then had the buffet for breakfast. Staff were all really nice and helpful Really impressed and will definitely be back!

Room was disgusting. Black mould on ceiling and window frame. Icy cold and damp room, damp bedding, mattresses stained and completely unstable and broken in both rooms, blood stains on bedding, smashed tiles in bathroom, unvacumed floors with dirt, glitter and a dead bee and cobwebs all over the ceiling. We didn’t get to the room till 1am as arrived from a late flight so tried to sleep in our clothes but it took 3 hours for the room to warm up enough to sleep. We skipped breakfast and got the hell out of there asap. Hotel have refunded at my suggestion.

I’ve stayed before and loved it. I still enjoyed it this time and will definitely come again but I was in one of the further away rooms which haven’t been renovated which I wouldn’t have minded so much but the cleanliness wasn’t great. I think although the bathroom is old and needs refurbishment there could have been more effort made to make it a bit cleaner. For example mould and rust in the bathroom etc. and loads of water marks on the bath, dust and dirt on the floor

Booked this hotel for my in laws as they were attending a funeral in Surrey. Staff were very helpful and found a new room for them on the ground floor when they realised my mother in law struggled with stairs. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional with an excellent range of options. Would stay again.

We have voted this down by one star as the towers was only for exclusive use of wedding guests during our stay. Our room was a lengthy walk from reception, and was smaller than we hoped. It was quite crowded with furniture so that the small wardrobe was blocked by a chair. The hotel is very much geared towards being a conference centre and individual guests not as well catered for as we hoped. The breakfast is great, although we didn’t eat in the evening. Try the Indian restaurant near the hotel as it is amazing.

disappointed with the accommodation we were in and I was expecting more from a De Vere Hotel where we had paid a premium for a superior room which wasn't that special. We were part of a large group and check in was totally chaotic as rooms were not ready and we had to queue for ages.
The staff were stretched but did their best to help.
Would not go out of my way to book a De Vere hotel again.

We’ve stayed here before but we were so disappointed this time. The room smelt like stale smoke, the shower flooded the bathroom. The carpets were dirty. It was meant to be a superior room but I’ve had better rooms in budget hotels. No idea how it’s labelled a 4-star hotel.

Beautiful grounds but the room was tiny and bathroom very small. The bed was a double ( very small for two) very unusual these days to see a double in a hotel. The bedsode shelf practically sat on the bed and I was afraid I was going to bash my head on it. Wrapped a pillow around it . Very tight for two people.

What a remarkable hotel. So beautiful, if you can stay in the Towers Building - do book there - I’m sure the new building is lovely too but the history and amenities in the old building are just beautiful. The daughter of Lord Byron lived there, the furnishings are lovely, we had just a mid range room - nice big room, big bathroom and views onto the wall. 🤗

Absolutely fantastic, the staff are really lovely and welcoming. The hotel and grounds are first class. Food in the restaurant and bar is very well presented and delicious. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. If you're ever in Horsley this hotel is definitely worth staying in. A short walk from the hotel is the towers, a stately hall with stunning surroundings. The rates for the room is excellent value for money. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be booking another stay. So many lovely areas where you can just relax.

The tower side is grand and has a wedding venue feel, but all food, check-in and facilities is in the standard hotel a walk away.
We stayed on a Friday night and only saw a couple of other people - we think only one other couple were in the Horsley Towers side, no staff to be seen. Bar closed etc which made it all seem a bit eerie. We upgraded to a junior suite and it had limited lighting in the room, windows were painted shut (Dyson fan was provided) extractor in the en suite didn’t work etc
No shower so we had to sit in bath to wash (not practical when limited for time)

THE POOL HAS BEEN CLOSED SINCE DECEMBER WITH NO SIGN OF REOPENING - which was a real disappointment for us as the reviews for the pool had been glowing and we were really looking forward to a swim. Some notice of the closure would have been nice

This is lovely hotel, but I feel the rooms in the main part of the hotel isn’t up to the same standard as previous visits. Bed looked like it had been slept in. Shower wasn’t clean. The soap dispensers didn’t work. The staff are excellent and very welcoming, the grounds are lovely and I enjoyed walking around them and felt safe.

Room was basic. impossible to use the body wash dispenser luckily i always take my own as this seems to be the norm. only 2 plugs in the room - one had the telly in and one had the desk lamp in (which i used as lighting not good in the room) so nowhere to plug in laptop.

Second stay here (either side of a holiday). Arrived just before 10pm and no food available -not the hotel’s fault. Was not given the same or similar room as requested but a very small double on the opposite side - upper floor. We had lots of luggage! Too late and too tired to complain. Party people wandering back to their rooms passed under our window and disturbed us until 2.30am. 😞 Lovely grounds and great breakfast. Lots of choice. A shame about the room.

As a regular guest I was very disappointed that the planned refurbishment of the reception area was not communicated before arrival. Temp reception area and access to rooms very poor and no assistance offered - a number of hazard to overcome before you could access the room which have benefitted from the refurbishment. Lastly the building work started at 08.00 and included drilling which was unacceptable. Understand that the works need to be completed but they could be managed far better and consider the well being and comfort of the guests.

This facility is principally a \"venue\" providing facilities and accommodation for weddings and conferences. In addition it has modern simple bedrooms. We only required basic overnight accommodation and so our Horsley Place first floor Guest Room was fine. The downside was no lift and a steep set of stairs. The room was relatively small but was quiet and comfortable. We did not appreciate the number of cushions scattered on the bed - they serve no useful purpose and took up quite a lot of room space when removed. Pleasant lounge/bar areas are available. Breakfast was a veritable feast including Full English. However, to get from our room to breakfast entailed an outside walk via a gravel footpath which included a number of trip hazards - fortunately it was not raining. Maybe this was a temporary route during the alterations which were in progress. One final point - finding the vehicle access to the hotel is quite tricky. It is not indicated from the village road and it is quite easy to drive past it.

Another enjoyable stay in Horsley Place. Pleasant, comfortable, but small room. Enjoyed walking round lovely grounds and using gym and pool. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. We've found it good value and in a convenient place, using it as a base for visiting Wisley, NT properties etc and catching train into London (Horsley Station 25 mins walk). Unfortunately, wifi wasn't good at times.

Received a very nice upgrade to a suite upon arrival. Newly renovated with besutiful decking area by the water. Suite was excellent. Shower a little small and yoilet paoer very thin/cheap.

When we first got thier it was not very clear where reception was we found the second part,thier was no one thier, so we went in to the bar and the young man said he would get someone, Chantelle turn up drink in her hand slurping it asked what she could do for us,asked if we was part of the reception going on and immediately said we was in the wrong place had to go back and start again ,basically you not staying here,bare in mind we just had a long drive, said we had to go back to other reception and how could we had missed it,thier was no reception sign out or any thing, we felt uncomfortable as she made us feel as we was doing her a favour.finallywe found were we was going to be greated by a young man sam i think,we was given our rooms our dughter was placed about 18 rooms away near the fire exit door that was never seemed to be closed even at night which made her feel uncomfortable, the pool was closed on the Thursday for 4 hours to be cleaned but we got in thier that afternoon and the mud under the stairs was filthy full of mud they need to look,a red heart we found their also. Thier found bar staff helpful after we enquiries that we made for coffee and tea free we was not told by reception, cobwebs in hallway going downstairs need attention been thier a while and want us to use hand sanitizer which was never filled in two days we stayed. Room need updating tired , all through

Had a one night stay the room was very nice and must’ve been recently renovated as could still smell the paint. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bar is nice and I had breakfast which was also nice - lots of choice. The grounds are so lovely there are nice walks there is also a pool. I would just say the hotel itself is very tired in places - but maybe this will be re decorated as some point. Would defo stay again.

This was our second stay and we love it here. The grounds are lovely to walk around with a beautiful lake and little herb garden that smells amazing.
We used the pool during our stay which is a decent size for what we need.

It was fine for one night. Nothing spectacular, nothing awful. Bed was fine for a single person, but could feel the springs in the mattress. Don't expect a luxury pool, its just a pool with a very hot and tiny changing room.
Wouldnt recommend ordering from the menu - initially wrong meal was bought out, they said sorry by bringing an extra bowl of chips which wasnt wanted, bought correct meal but was missing two ingredients. Maybe should have stuck to the buffet when it was so busy.

I only stayed at this hotel due to the fact they advertised having a snooker table on their website for my 7 night stay.
It then transpired that it was not for public use but they could let me use it for £60 per night which I thought was extremely unacceptable.

It is a unique Property with previous owners being Lord Byron's daughter Ada Lovelace, who wrote the mathematical algorithm for modern British computers, and Tommy Sopwith who developed his Aeroplane for the RAF.
It was perfect to visit RHS Wisley, and avoid the horrendous M25 Junction 10 tail back, travelling through the Surrey countryside. It had beautiful grounds and a large lake.
