Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a clean, generously sized bathroom. The bed was great for a good night's sleep. The only minor issue was the limited number of towels. The hotel also features a beautiful large pool, although we didn’t have a chance to use it during our stay. One unexpected highlight was the coffee machine in the lobby—it served one of the best cups of coffee we’ve had, and a staff member mentioned it was just a few days old. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety to choose from. Overall, a great experience—we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel itself was very nice and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. However, there is no signage at the road entrance with grass and weeds grown up tall. An old unused restaurant with weeds around it and construction equipment parked around it sits in front of the hotel which makes it look trashy. The drive from the road was very rough with potholes.
Would be nice to have information in the lobby about sight seeing and things to do and see in the area.

FRON DESK GIRL FRIENDLY- BREAKFAST

The front check-in girl was great! She was friendly. Great customer service and even got me in my room a little early.
I thought her name was Sara. not sure. I checked in on the 19th of Oct. the room was clean.

We didn't go to breakfast until about 0945. Breakfast was to 11 Everything was empty. I went back to the room and gathered my stuff. loaded the car and about 1025 We came back and it was all still empty. I went to the desk and asked the young gentlemen about it. they said they ran out. so I left and went out to eat.

Convenient Location

The hotel is very clean and modern, with free parking. Even though it’s right next to a major highway, I didn’t hear any noise at all. The location is great – just a quick 5-minute drive to Walmart and only 7 minutes to Corning town center and the Museum of Glass. It’s an ideal spot for both convenience and comfort. Highly recommend!

I stayed here to participate in a half marathon race near by. It was perfect for that. Quiet, comfy bed, room temp good for sleeping, microwave, Kureg, good sized fridge. Hassle free check in and out. Looked up my hotel points number for me and added it quickly. Nice indoor heated pool, great for post race. They had water bottles, bananas and granola bars out when I left the hotel at 5 am. Nice touch! It’s not fancy, and there’s no restaurant or bar (free breakfast which I didn’t have time to try) but if you don’t need that, this is a great place. Isn’t in an area that’s seen better days, you drive past an abandoned fast food restaurant to access the parking lot, so there is zero curb appeal, but again, if you don’t need this is your place!

The hotel was literally brand new when we stayed, it opened 5 days prior we came. The only negative experience we had was during breakfast. They ran out of eggs and we had to wait for the next tray to be cooked. Also the plates, bowls are not visible and ready I had to ask the staff for them. Other that these, rooms and other amenities like pool was great.

The first appearance when you enter this hotel from the main road is like an abandoned place very poorly maintained entrance, old gas station on the left and a closed and abandon restaurant on the right, hotel hidden on the back road, not very good first impression.
Missing a sign on the main road to advertise the hotel. I even passed and had to do a U turn .
I will not recommend this hotel if you stay on the back rooms , to noise and very close to the highway 86. Overall was clean, and the beds were comfy, I don’t recommend the pool. The water is cold so don’t even try in the winter, I was there in August and I was out in a couple minutes.
One night was raining and you can hear the cars like they were inside the rooms,this is for the poor windows Installed not Insulated.
For $200 a night the breakfast was very poor. Everything is premade sugary and not fresh, fake butter and my favorite are the Bagels was the only think I had and was not fresh also but toasted passed the test, all other bread is not good since is all sliced and I don’t eat that junk, so second day I went out for breakfast.To expensive for a night sleep.
I will try not to rely on breakfast at the hotels because most are not good. Sorry this is my honest review

Bed was acceptable, however room climate control was really poor and wasn’t running for some time before we arrived, so room was stuffy and very humid throughout stay. I want to start with the front desk person was great and could not have done anything better. The pool was closed for routine maintenance and that was the main thing we looked for in a hotel as a stop over on a long road trip to tire the kids out. Knowing this ahead of time would have been nice since it was a scheduled closure. When we got to the room it smelled musty but I tried to ignore it. My 7 year old son laid in the bed and said the bed was wet. Both beds felt wet like sheets, blankets and pillows weren’t put in the dryer just all over wet. We called the front desk and they moved us to another room which was better. Overall a disappointing stay but we made the best of it.

This hotel has had a recent upgrade so there were plenty of things to be happy about. The breakfast was good and had the normal HIE selection. Two issues: the pool was put of service and the sheets on the beds were slightly damp which made for a difficult sleep.

In particular, the juice machine was out of order, and although the hotel provided jugs of juice instead, they quickly ran out, and when we asked whether there was more, they simply said they were sorry, that was all they had.

Clean and third floor corner room with 2 beds very good coffee and breakfast egg white and oat meal with raisins craisins and walnuts . Good service for one night stay it is perfect on the way to Niagara Falls or Ontario or if you want to visit Watkin Glen park .. you won’t be disappointed

The worst breakfast in all holiday inn express

The room was clean, the hotel was clean but the breakfast was terrible. The pancake meshing asked for new bag of pancake mix and they didnt put new one.so no pancake. No fresh egges, but from 3 days ago. The same about the sausage. Burn and not fresh.the begels was not fresh.

The hotel was excellent but the driveway to enter the hotel had an abandoned building and overgrown weeds in the driveway. And in the driveway of the hotel itself. It looks shabby upon entering.

we have stayed in many holiday in express hotel in USA and other countries. but this one is kind of disapppointig. breakfast is not good, no drink water. prok sausage is really not eatable. bathroom is not very clean. tissue box is empty, etc. Considering its price, not recommanded

Room was updated and spacious. Had spider issues in our room. So. Many. Spiders. Breakfast area was not serviced regularly so several mornings they were out of basic items. For example, we had to go through cupboards to find bowls and napkins. Juice and pancake machine were broken for the entire length of our stay.

Our first issue with our stay. While we were out enjoying our day, we returned to find housekeeping left our door open with all our stuff vulnerable in our room for hours. Needless to say we opted not to have our room cleaned for rest of our stay.
Second issue is upon returning from an activity the front desk employee was talking to another employee using very vulgar degrading language about a guest or another employee.

Location wasn’t a good representation of IHG.

What can be a worse Holiday Inn Expss experience?

Stayed there for 2 nights.
- toilet was dirty when checked in
- room was musty
- room phone was out of order. So couldn’t call front desk.
- next day room wasn’t cleaned. Front desk said they couldn’t do anything. Had to stay in the dirty room second night too
- front desk said they told their manager “Sarah” and she would call me - no one called.
Had to stay with family/kids in a dirty room that they did not service and refused to do anything about.
This place is best avoided.
