The room was below standard; the carpet smelled noticeably bad and the washroom has no exhaust system, which is a major ventilation oversight. Furthermore, the breakfast offerings were bare-bones and underwhelming.

I checked online before booking. Other guests photos showed the breakfast with egg and sausages and more. But the day we were there has none of these. The only hot food was the DIY waffle.
The pool was closed.
The staff refused to provide extra bed sheets until we show him the existing bed sheet has yellow stain
The worst part is we got bug bites during the stay.

The location is very convenient, not far from I 86 and the Corning Museum of Glass. Breakfast was in a large room with a variety of options. My only concern was trying to carry our luggage up a narrow stairway with no landing. The place has 2 stories.

I booked the room so I could take my grandson and go swimming I get there there's water in the bottom of the pool but it is not running they didn't post online that there was no pool so I checked out that morning never stayed my second night expecting a refund from you Expedia

Sandy at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She even tracked me down when I dropped my AirPods in the lobby. The room (199) was spacious and very, very quiet. The bed was comfortable.

The only suggestion for improvement is to add some healthy protein, like boiled eggs, to the breakfast options. Peanut butter would have been nice for toast.

The hotel is very dated. Clean, but needs updating, new carpet, etc…
The hallways were freezing cold for some reason. The “gym” or “fitness room” is not a gym or fit for anyone to workout there. One working treadmill, bike, and an elliptical. That is all that was available. A cybex multi-use machine was in the room, but was not able to be used because it was broken. No mats, free weights, medicine balls, or any other sort or equipment. It was extremely hot in there and the water cooler did not even have a cooler installed on top for someone to get water. Pool was not “open for the season” even though it was indoors. That was not a big deal to us since we were not going to use it anyways, but I would think that families with young children might enjoy letting the kids swim for a bit during a getaway. Disappointed in this hotel and our stay.

The room was outdated, but clean overall. A bit of rust on some fixtures, a bit of hard water stains on the showerhead, but the water comes out nice and hot for a nice shower. The staff was courteous, the breakfast was ok. Even though there were pictures of scrambled eggs on the wall in the breakfast area, no eggs were served that morning(it would have been nice). the breakfast was cereal, muffins, english muffins, bagels, toast, yogurts, assorted fruits, etc. not bad, but wouldnt have minded some eggs. the last problem were the people with heavy feet in the room above us. This was at 130-200 in the morning! The desk person did their best to confront the problem at that time, the room occupants eventually did go to bed. My wife and I usually stay at the Staybridge Suites while in Corning, but we tried to save some money this time around. I guess you get what you pay for.

NO ELEVATOR. This didn’t affect me because I was lucky enough to get a first floor room. But I missed the fine print so I wanted to put that upfront in case others also missed that. The bathroom had sink and wall cracks and the carpet could use a refresh. However, it was clean and quiet and the bed was super comfortable (if a bit tall for shorter folks). I did have to use the “pants hanger on the curtains” trick because my room looked out into someone’s back yard. It was quite convenient to restaurants and the museum as well. The mini fridge kept my items so cold that there was a thin ice layer on my can of soda by breakfast and I had to microwave my cheese so that my cheese knife would go through it—a pleasant surprise since most hotel mini fridges suck. Beware of their cancellation policy. Overall a good stay!

The staff was rude during check in. Rolling her eyes and scowling the whole time. Not communicating nicely. Awful. The room was not clean. The bedding was stained with blood or feces and when asked to get a new one even that was still not actually clean. The pool area is so small that they wouldnt allow for adults to sit in a chair while watching the kids swim. I asked and she said its a regulation. But it was so strange.

Breakfast included gluten-free waffle mix along with separate waffle maker which I’ve never seen before at any hotel.
I called front desk at 11:30PM to ask adjacent room to turn TV down, but no one answered after a long time phone ringing; so we turned up our air conditioner fan which was also unwelcome noise but at least we no longer heard TV through wall. Otherwise zero noise issues.

Good for what we needed to stay for.

it was a stop halfway mark going to from delaware to Canada… it is an older property and there is no elevator so we had large luggage that we had to take up a flight of stairs. We are in pretty good condition physically to do that -we did get a really nice large room. The staff was friendly and very helpful so all in all I was not disappointed.

Assistant manager was super understanding. Rooms curtains were covered in mold and since they were situated above the AC it filled the room. The power was off to the fridge and tv area so we had to find the switch behind it to get it running so no feidge for the night. There was a bee hive hidden in the main door so everytime you opened it they came running out at you. Not good for someome with an allergy

Their old window AC's have mold in them, and hazardous to people, especially with asthma. The carpeting in the hallways smells like urine as if it never was washed since it was installed. Customer service resolved the issue when we complained about the bed sheets having blood stains and yellow on the edges. The floor area around pool entrance has black mold. I would not recommend, we spent $125/night for all the sanitary issues we experienced.
