The Radisson In Downtown Corning is a centrally located hotel for a holiday weekend visit to Corning. Accessible parking, quick check in, comfortable king size room with remodeled bathroom.
Enjoyed being able to walk right from the hotel to the downtown main street with lots of shops, restaurants and we lucked out with a street festival during our stay.
The staff at the hotel bar were friendly for a drink after dinner.
The only things to improve on at the hotel, we were in the back building so you had to walk through the main building to enter a separate building & the elevator was so slow. It only had 3 floors wasting time coming & going waiting for the elevator. And the room window easily opened to let fresh air in but there was no screen & didn’t want to let bugs in. I would return on a future visit.

Signs in hall said the Property under going upgrades, but clean, bright and neat. Desk staff were very helpful but one member of the housekeeping staff complained loudly in the hallway about guests and their workload. Rooms were comfortable and the bed was great. Didnt use the pool but it looked good. No microwave in room but they brought one up when asked. Bathroom was small but clean and well kept. Towels were larger than typical (which is a plus). Very convenient location, lots of walkable shopping, eating, and sites. Hotel Bar/restaurant had good food portions and reasonable prices. No water fountain but ice machine worked well. There was a vending machine on floor for cold drinks and complimentary coffee and tea in lobby. Lobby seating was also comfortable and in a bright space. Easy to work in. Would stay again.

Great location. Right at the edge of the Gaffer District, meaning it was a very short walk from our room to the end of the GlassFest block party. A short walk to the bus stops for the Corning Museum of Glass, and not a very long walk (about a mile) to the museum itself, which is very pleasant when the weather is nice.

The parking lot was crowded (Memorial Day weekend), but I had no problem finding a spot. The hotel staff said that they would issue overnight permits for the municipal lot next door for any guest who could not find a spot in the hotel lot, which is wonderful.

You cannot beat the location! You can walk to all the cute restaurants and shops on Market Street. And it is a beautiful walk over the pedestrian bridge over the river to the Corning Museum of Glass. The lobby has a water feature and a wonderful relaxed vibe. Staff were very friendly. They are undergoing some renovations now so expect that. Hopefully they are upgrading the AC/Heat units in the rooms- ours was very noisy. We used our phone for white noise to overcome the noise. Because of location and reasonable cost we would always stay there when visiting Corning - it is a precious little town!

When called and asked the front desk they advise that there is an issue and wouldn't have maintenance til later that morning/ afternoon and I had a flight to get to

Parking Parking Parking. This is a real problem that could easily be resolved by Hotel Management. It is insufficient and we and many others had to circle and circle without any hope of a space. When I let the Front Desk know of the issue they were aware and then gave me a parking permit for nearby parking behind the hotel. THIS SHOULD BE DONE AT CHECK-IN! Very frustrating. Also need to embrace the Mid century architecture! The decor throughout the hotel and rooms is a mishmash of farmhouse, transitional furnishings. Why paint vintage brick battleship grey? Location is the biggest upside to this hotel as it allows walking to all of Cornings charming little downtown.

Great location, only hotel walking distance to Gaffer district and about a 3 minute drive to Corning Glass. Rooms are spacious and clean. A huge perk was the restaurant and bar. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The bartender was amazing, really good tips on drinks. There was live music which made for a nice night.

I am absolutely furious with the management of the Radisson Corning. In advance of my hip replacement, I was excited to have a relaxing weekend for the annual Sparkle festival (Dec. 5&6). Had the hotel been fully operational, I would have had the restaurant and bar close by with little walking to do. However, the management, in their infinite wisdom, decided to close the restaurant and bar off and rent it to a private party, leaving dozens of patrons out in the cold. This, on arguably the busiest night of the year! We were told that we would be allowed in at 8:30 pm, so we walked to other establishments until that time. Then, we were told that we had been misinformed. We brought with us three other parties who rented rooms on my recommendation. How embarrassing! I cannot imagine how the management of the Radisson Corning does not have the foresight to block off private reservations for this event, no doubt losing a lot of money for the hotel and its staff. Not only was our Christmas holiday ruined, but so was my hip from all the extra walking we had to do. We had 3 other rooms rented out with us and we all consider this trip to be a complete waste of money. In addition, the outdoor patio, which used to be very beautiful with outdoor seating, firepits, ice carvings and lights continues to lay dark and barren for this event since 2020. Radisson needs to do better!

No free breakfast did not go to the restaurant. Everything was good except there is no microwave in the room. When we asked about a microwave they were going to bring one to our room. Waited over a 1/2 then called down and asked again for the microwave then waited over 40 mi minutes decided to just go get dinner. Hoping it was in the room when we got back and it was not. They need to have them in the rooms or access to one for patrons.

upon check in I was asked if I had a preference on location of room, by elevator or further down hall. I said no next to elevator but closer than further. I get to room, it's almost end of hallway.
I needed to call front desk to ask a question, no phone in room. I tried to look up phone number on website, all I could find was a reservation phone number. they did offer to get a phone but still....
I pulled the shade down for night, it continued to pull down to the point it seemed like it was going to break. I called about this. They came and said they'd fix it another day. Overall, not happy and would not recommend.

We couldn’t see out of the left side of the large window as it was covered with a white film. The area above the window was corroding. There was only 1 partially used roll of toilet paper and we ran out and used tissue. There were no towels in the pool area. Beautiful location but the establishment needs some TLC.

We love the location of the hotel! The staff was very nice, accommodating, and helpful! The food and drinks at the restaurant was wonderful. Our room had a slightly funky smell when we first walked in, but it went away as soon as we started running the air conditioning. Everything was very comfortable and made for a wonderful trip!
