Staff very help, all spoke very good English. Given great, recommended on local restaurants near by. Gym equipment was is great condition looked new. Great 70's vibe with the decor. Nice walk, slow pace 30mins or so, into the center of Rome. 50mins to the Vatican City. Would recommend the hotel. Taxi around €18 to the Vatican. €80 taxi from Airport & we used tge lady back, she was brilliant

Our visit was very nice. About a mile or so walk to the Termini Train Station. Friendly and prompt check-in, grateful for the accommodation of an early check-in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, within a short walk for many shops and bus stops, the rooms were very clean and rooms were cleaned daily. However for a 4 star hotel it needs major upgrades as the walls and doors are paper thin and you can hear everything that is happening even a simple knock on the next door. The hotel at night was very noisy with guest screaming every night at 1-2am randomly and due to how thin the walls were we were woken up constantly. The single beds are really small and the room has no amenities such as a kettle or a coffee machine. Also I would expect from a 4 star hotel to have rooms with card keys instead of a physical key tied to a huge ball having to carry it around Rome. Overall for a couple days in Rome the hotel is great but the management should take into consideration the comfort of its guest

Close to many tourist attractions. Walkable distance to Sacré cour and Moline rouge.
Metro at 2 blocks. The stop closest onto the hotel was line 2 and the stop was “place the Clichy”
Safe and 2 blocks from
De hotel.
Also we dine in cafe Luna and the food was great and the price affordable

This was my mother and I’s first stop in our Italy trip. I informed them via email in advance about reserving a car from the airport and about my birthday but they never responded. Upon arrival, the hotel staff/reception were very dry and unfriendly. We found out the last day there that they could call us a taxi within minutes because we asked. It’s quite difficult ordering ubers or freenow taxis from there. Nothing was told to us. Same with the food and the bar. The room was cool and comfortable, but I wouldn’t stay here again. I guess if you’re looking for a place to stay that is quiet and away from the city to do self exploring, you may consider this hotel. Not the prettiest either but the pricing was fair.

Great location.

My two sons stayed on a brother trip, they said the location had easy access to a bus stop just a few blocks away, they liked the area as it felt safe and local…not touristy. Wonderful coffee shop with scrumptious croissants and kind workers was near. Good location for the Borghese Gallery. Room was on the smaller side , but very well taken care of. Overall, recommend highly.

Recommend the hotel as it was easy to get around, great coffee and home made patisserie shops and restaurants. Close to bus stops. The only small thing is that if you don’t have a car and want to go Trevi fountain pantheon and Basilica etc it is a 20 minute bus ride other than that it is worth the stay.

Room service closed early multiple nights. Rude receptionist our first day checking in, continued to seem like they did not enjoy working there the rest of the time we saw this specific person. I personally would not recommend this hotel as there are better, more affordable options closer to the center of Rome.

The hotel had a quaint 70’s Retro feel. The air conditioning in the room, the water pressure and housekeeping staff were all on point. The front desk staff were nice but they weren’t as welcoming as previous experiences at other hotels. I would recommend for a great place to sleep and get ready while on a busy vacation, but if you’re looking for amenities within the hotel, this would not be the best fit. I give The Albani Hotel, 2 thumbs up.

Three-night stay in Rome

3-night stay in Rome to start off our European vacation. Nice hotel. Good location. Clean, safe. Location was not what we expected - thought it would have been more walkable to attractions. We had to take taxis or Ubers - which was very expensive in Rome. Highlight was the close proximity to Borghese Park - a very nice surprise - we went twice. Highly recommend the hop on hop off bus - there is a stop close to the hotel.

All the staff at the front desk that I encountered were great. The Hotel did not have the A/C on in the rooms, only in the common areas and it was hot while I was there(80). There are no washcloths in the bathroom and the hotel does not have one iron or ironing board available. No ice machines either and trying to get ice from the staff was difficult. Additionally, the bar is not open during the day however were able to get a server to serve us a drink. The hotel is about a 45 minute walk to the either the Vatican and Colosseum. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop on the way as well.

The water from both the shower and taps smelled like feces, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Additionally, I was surprised that front desk staff handed out room keys without properly verifying ID, confirming names, or checking the length of stay; this raised some serious concerns about security.

my complaint was that Staff were unpleasant and rude. I booked the hotel for two people. Arrived at the hotel with the second person I booked for and a friend who was accompanying us while we got ready for to go out to eat etc. Staff made her leave her id card which we thought was normal and part of hotel rules. As soon as we finished checking in the hotel staff named Filipo asked us if she was staying. I explained we were only going upstairs to get ready and coming right out. When I asked him what were the rules when it came to having guests upstairs he told us it was allowed but she couldn’t stay overnight. I emphasized she was not staying overnight. We went upstairs and half an hour later we received a phone call asking if she was still upstairs and what time she was leaving, this was around 10:30. Once again, I explained we’re getting ready to come out so she would be leaving with us shortly. We left the hotel to go have dinner right next door and because I had a headache, I came back to the hotel, alone, to get my headache medicine. The new staff at the time around 11 asked me once again if my friend was staying overnight after we all had already left the building. I felt harassed and uncomfortable through out the stay at Albany hotel and would not recommend to a friend. This will be my first and last time staying here as I felt the staff were rude and disrespectful.

When we asked why this room, is it only one available as we booked well in advance, they said that was the room we booked (we just asked for a double or king bed, it was double bed put together). The decor was original though.

Overall good experience. Just a bit disappointed at the checkout. We were leaving very early and were told the packed breakfast will be waiting for us and wasn’t. We’re also told to pay for water from mini bar that one of the cleaners took out and left on the table leaving us with assumptions it was complimentary.

Great location for the event I was attending and walkable to the central sites. My room was clean (facing inwards, not a good view). Shower was really good. Food was not available on the evenjbg I wanted it, but fortunately good food places in the nearby street. An ok stay for business but would be soulless for a holiday.
