Great rooms very spacious, excellent mattress! Lovely hotel, however the bar never seemed to fill the pint glass when ordering a beer. Would stay again, lovely breakfast as well.

Good for business trip.

When I arrived it was a weird vibe from front desk. Instead ask me for name I was charge like it was not under mine name reservation. Front desk receptionist were just official not really friendly. I would aspect more info for tourists side off Krakow. It was more business hotel not tourist. Confort,cleaning service aswell as restaurant absolutely amazing.

Visited with family and it does caters to families
1. Excellent facilities. Excellent pool and gym. Also has a PlayStation for kids to indulge in during the day
2. Clean rooms with all the required amenities
3. Great staff and always ready to help. All my requirements were fulfilled and done quickly
Would definetly stay there again as it is quite near krakow city center but further away to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city center

We stayed in this hotel with family. The room was clean, spacious and comfort. Breakfast was excellent. The price for this high quality hotel is quite reasonable. Hotel is a bit far away from old town but, with Uber, Bolt it is only 10 minutes. Liked.

Stayed at this hotel previously, slight distance away from Krakow but wasn’t an issue as we were visiting Auschwitz by vehicle. The hotel has a small pool which gets busy due to the size of hotel and the changing area is very small (Ideally get changed in room and go to the pool in a towel). Positive points were that the hotel staff are friendly, breakfast is great, location is ok and the room had 2 double beds which was a welcome relief for my daughter who been on sofa beds for the previous 5 nights in Zakopane. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 in 1 room. 2 youths and 2 adults. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage whilst we went off to explore the old town. The staff were very helpful.
The room was perfect for our needs however was very hot so we had to open the window to get some air, thus then made the noise from outside very obvious. We had an early tour booked for a 5:55am pick up and the hotel provided a breakfast box. The hotel is good location from airport and old town. We used Uber to get around.

Rooms are quite big, big shower and separate toilet very handy when you travel with kids.

Such a lovely stay!

I booked the trip as a surprise for my fiance as its our anniversary and we're newly engaged. I informed the hotel of this and the room they put us in was lovely including the lovely little treats! The staff where all so lovely and polite and even let us leave our bags after check out so we could go out for the day before our flight. The room was spotless after every clean. There was loads of choice at breakfast especially for pastry lovers like ourselves! The rugby 7s where on in krakow and lot of teams stayed in the hotel but honestly we never had any issue with service at busy times and the rooms are really noise resistant! The hotel really made our first ever city break and we cannot thank the team enough.

Even though is not located downtown, it is pretty easy to move around the city. Public transportation service is excellent, so not having a car was not an issue. Hotel's installations and staff were excellent. Amazing breakfast, and a great restaurant to enjoy lunch/dinner.

Work men ruined my holiday

Beds uncomfortable, work men defrosting cars and shouting at 5.20 every morning. People smoking in front of hotel, which drifted into our room. It was the first and last time I stay in a Novhotel.

Blisko do lotniska około 15 min. Bardzo szybki check in and out . Przyjechaliśmy wcześniej godzinę do hotelu i bez problemu pokój był już gotowy . Bardzo miła obsługa i bardzo dobre śniadania. Mieliśmy mała przygodę w pokoju gdy wychodziliśmy z pokoju spadł kawałek sufit w korytarzu bo coś przeciekało ale nikomu nic się nie stało . Pomimo to bardzo czysty i ładny hotel. Polecam

Very nice hotel, not far from the airport. Parking is nearby. It is not free but not expensive. There are signs all around regarding wearing masks, but none of the guests does. Some of the stuff don't.

Covid safe, staff made it special

A 4 part review:
Let's start with the basics - clean, well maintained, warm, got all the stuff you need.
Then let's talk covid measures - the hotel is well laid out, all the screens and social distancing is in place, lots of hand cleaner everywhere, and central services such as lobby toilets are closed at 10pm for safety. All good.
Now the room itself - all clean and relatively well appointed, but the mattress was way too soft for my taste, as were the pillows, and the room (10th floor) was unbelievably hot. Fans are ok but it really needed some aircon to make it comfortable.
Finally the best bit. The staff and service were fantastic. Particular mentions go to Ana at the bar, Agata who looked after us at dinner, Sebastien on reception and his female colleague who checked us in but i couldn't see her name. We were made to feel very welcome, always looked after, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they seemed to treat us as individuals rather than \"just another guest\"
Good service makes a massive difference wherever you stay. The hotel manager at Novotel West needs to pat themselves on the back, the staff here are brilliant and we had a great time because of them. Lucky, as it was our 32nd wedding anniversary!

The pool was not available to use on arrival due to a technical problem which was disappointing. Gym small but ok (2 treadmill, 1bike, 1 rowing machine, dumbbell 12 to 20kg, 1 skipping rope and a bench station with a good amount of weights). Rooms large and clean. Menu more like uk prices and a lot more expensive compared to prices available in the town centre. I would suggest using Uber to travel around. Airport taxis to the hotel is set at 89 and Uber 45 to 62 zlotys. Hotel to town centre between 20 and 35 and with Uber 17 to 25. Krakow is beautiful and the food is great and affordable.

Left with a bad taste...

Overall the hotel was good but there were a number of negatives that would prevent us from going back or referring it to others.
1 - The bathroom in our room smelled of urine/body odor.
2 - We had a 2 night stay and the pool was closed the 2nd day we were there (Saturday night). For maintenance, they should schedule this on a less-busy weekday. The pool was a selling feature for us with our kids.
3 - We prepaid for breakfast and the 2nd day there were no omelets (advertised on every poster in the hotel), no fresh juice and alot of the food wasn't put out. We had to request pancakes and honey, which they did bring to us but they were intended to be on the breakfast bar. The space was just empty. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they said we may have arrived too late for these items but we arrived at 7am (breakfast opens at 6:30). When I told the front desk this, they said 'maybe they hadn't finished setting up yet then'. Either way, it was unsatisfactory especially for the amount we were paying.
4 - The playstation wasn't working. Granted the front desk spent time fixing it, which we appreciated, but it was a good 30-45 minutes of just waiting. If that is a main staple in the lobby advertised for the kids they should ensure it is up and running.
The potential is there and maybe we just hit it on a bad weekend but we were bummed with our experience.

I enjoyed it.

This hotel may be slightly further out from
the centre, but this helps make it great value for money. It’s convenient for the airport (less than 30 mins I’m busy traffic) and is very clean. It’s recently been refurbished and was very clean.
The rooms are the usual spacious Novotel standard with a king size bed and a sofa bed too.
The gym and pool have just been refurbished too and were if a good standard.
I ate in the hotel restaurant Novo twice and the food was of a good standard. Prices ranges from 30 zloty for pasta up to around 75/80 zloty for steak.
There’s a free minibus shuttle daily at 10am to the sister Novotel in the centre. This is around a ten min walk from the main tourist sights. It’s not the most exciting walk back to the hotel but it takes less than an hour on a decent road, or you can get the shuttle back in the evening. Uber was 12 zloty for the journey.
I’d recommend this hotel for its comfort, price and cleanliness.

Great service! We got a “Dragon room”, special room with dragon motive for kids. The kids loved it so much! Also got hot chocolat to the room, with was a nice surprise.

I chose this hotel as it was situated in a quiet area and I was able to walk into the town. The rooms are comfortable, I would have preferred a coffee machine instead of a kettle as I do like a decent cup in the morning. The breakfast buffet is excellent though and coffee was available there. The freshly cooked omelettes were delicious. I had a very enjoyable stay and the staff were excellent.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Good transport links with busy stop outside and a shuttle bus. Taxi was quite cheap to hotel too from City centre. Food very good. Breakfast has a very good choice. Helpful with the swimming at local baths too as we went everyday so towels and swimming hats provided but remember guys tight shorts! Or you won't get in although the nearby pool sell them. We used the exercise machinery outside too. Staff made an effort to make your stay a nice one and would certainly go back again.

Under Major Renovation Construction but Nice

Currently undergoing major renovation and construction. An otherwise miserable stay was balanced by friendly and helpful staff, and very good breakfasts. There’s a charming little bar area and inviting “living room” lobby area that is very comfortable. A Circle K gas station across the street is convenient for snacks, liquor, beer, and wine purchases. IBM and other businesses are across the street too, but there’s not much else in the immediate vicinity. The area felt safe. Old Town about 1.5 miles away. If noise from 9am to 5pm won’t bother you, it’s a decent place to stay.

The hotel is modern. But the toilet is in its own closet apart from a sink and the shower. We reserved a queen bed but got two singles that were on rollers so could not stay together. Positives - the staff was helpful, the breakfast buffet was good.

My only gripe was the distance the hotel was situated from everything, a good 30-35min walk or 5 pound in taxi. There and back twice a day it all adds up when its freezing. Wish id spent a bit extra and went with a hotel much closer to main square. Kracow was a magical city and will return again but not to this hotel due to location. Lee

This hotel is about 25 mins walk to the square in Kraków it is a very clean hotel and the staff where helpful with organising taxis to the square they cost 20 zloty each way on the meter the rooms where of a reasonable standard typical of this type of hotel the rooms gave a safe which is good and it was free to use being located outside the town it's quite and not too many drunken idiots stay there would be an ideal hotel for a family although the prices for food and drink are very overpriced like 55 zloty for breakfast

What can I say everything it was good in your hotel clean room and good service, only one thing it was not comfortable toilet and the bathroom were Sparta room, otherwise everything is good.
