Amazing spa in the basement (6 different kinds of sauna and pool). Very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and the garden area was beautiful. Very easy to organize cheap taxis to the center.

Breakfast food selection was great but most fresh items were not covered which resulted in multiple flies sitting on food. The hotel is very comfortable but some areas look like they could use refurbishment, especially carpets. Gym equipment a bit outdated and squeeky. Very nice and well maintained garden behind the hotel.

Located far away from the city center with not much around it and nothing to walk to. My other issue probably varies by room but in my room it was difficult to use the toilet in the bathroom because a sink counter extended too far directly in front of it.

Not really in Krakov.

7km outside of Krakov, 25 to 30zl in a taxi to the centre. If you are happy with that then this is a good choice. Biggest downside to the hotel was the bar costs. A large beer costs (24zl) more than double what you will pay in the centre of Krakov (12zl).

Great Base for Exploring Krakow

Close and inexpensive uber ride to the city centre, walking distance to Bronowice mall. Everything you need is easily accessible and the service at this hotel is fantastic and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. WiFi was also very fast. However, I would not recommend eating there, as food was very expensive.

Disappointing '5' star hotel

I needed a hotel close to Krakow airport and this one looked the best based on star rating. Don't believe it! This place is at best a 3 star. It feels like one of those places that maybe in the 70s was up to standards but since then has never really been updated.
Old fashioned, small rooms, bathroom you can't swing a cat in. Very confusing carpark ticketing system. And the restaurant... hmmm, similar atmosphere as the one from The Shining...
If you're looking for a good, up-to-date, 5 star hotel, give this one a (big) miss.

Krakow in a Day

Great hotel with clean rooms, good breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We tour old square (a short taxi ride take you there) and Auschwitz. We booked a famiy room and had two rooms connected to each other. Perfect for family.

Don't go if you have asthma or a perfume allergy

Lobby old and not air conditioned. Staff not friendly. Went to room, very perfumed and had acute asthmatic attack with laryngeal edema. Couldn't breathe or speak. Had to go outside and take inhalers and asthma medication. My husband asked for another room, but was told that it was the cleaning supplies that contained the fragrance and that all rooms had the same smell. Hotel wouldn't give a refund. Front staff said that the manager would e-mail me the next day, but I never received an e-mail. Finally Hotels.com gave me a refund.

We were disappointed from the start. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly and we could see that they were trying to be a four or five star hotel. But when we went to the restaurant for dinner the food was expensive and not very good. It was served to us cold. We didn't want to bother having them take it back so that is on us. When we tried to check out it took about 20 minutes because the restaurant hadn't put our dinner on the computer to charge us. It was frustrating. We will not go back. Sorry.

Front desk was poorly staffed. Door to our room malfunctioned and had repair man in our room for nearly an hour to fix the issue, no apology from staff for the inconvenience. Quite a distance from town centre and no shuttle is provided. Very poor service from a \"5\" star hotel

Very nice hotel, would stay there again for sure. Room was very clean and the service was superb. I love the fact that they had their own taxi drivers who took you where you needed to know. Bed was comfy and the wifi was good. The grounds around the hotel was very pretty and peaceful. The lighting in the room was a bit weak, but not a huge deal. The location was about 15 min from the airport, but a bit far out of town. The taxies were there, but the traffic was heavy so it took a while to get in and out of the old town. If you don't mind that, then this place is for you.

Excellent hotel with good facilities for which you have to pay extra. Beautiful grounds. The breakfast was exeptionally good.
Downsides, too far away from town. 2 to 3 bus rides were required. No English speaking TV

Great hotel & location with poor catering options

very comfortable, good public transport connections to the city centre. Slightly let down by an average breakfast menu and a poor restaurant menu which coupled with length of service did not lend itself to eating in. A simple bar/room menu quickly dispensed especially in the evening for late travellers would be extremely welcome and appreciated.

Should not be rated as a 5 star hotel.

The only thing going for this hotel is the srounding gardens. The facilities are outdated and drastically require remodeling. The room I stayed in does not look like any of the pictures on the website. I felt as a if I was staying at a camping lodge with the slanting ceiling and low quality bed. Bring your own electric adapters as the front desk do not have any to give - had to walk to the close by mall to buy mine the first day of my stay. Don't pay for breakfast as the quality of food is not up to 5 stars standards. The location is far from city center and taxis are a rip off! I would rate this hotel as a three star at max.

close to airport - good for a short break

A nice hotel with friendly and attentive staff. 10 mins by taxi from Krakow centre

we got off to a bad start though - we booked the hotels car to pick us up at the airport and this was confirmed by exchange of emails. However when we arrived at the airport, no-one was there to meet us. When we arrived at hotel the receptionist couldn't really tell us why the car hadn't been sent. Didn't get much of an apology. Also the 3rd bed in our room (bed Settee) hadn't been made up and there was no bedding. I reported this to reception and it was quickly fixed
Having said all of this the hotel was lovely, clean and modern and just what we were looking for

After over one hour of driving to try to locate the hotel, we finally hired a taxi to lead us there. The hotel is very difficult to find . The reception does not even have a map that shows how to get there in relationship to the rest of the city.
We were disappointed that a five star hotel would use cheap plastic glasses in their rooms. the weather was 30c in Krakow when we were there and there was no airconditioning working properly in our room..
The staff in the dining room were not friendly and were more interested in cleaning the tables than greeting and serving the guests. The buffet breakfast left a lot to be desired.....the juices were very watered down and tasted disgusting! The fruit was sliced so thinly that you could see through the slices. When using the wc in the lobby, the light shuts off while you are still using the facilities

Stayed here for 3 nights for a city break in Krakow, staff were friendly and helpful. Used the tram to get into town cheap and frequent. Good breakfast and nice room at the back overlooking the gardens. Would recommend.

My first visit to Poland on business but I was not disappointed with the hotel selection. A little out of town but only 5km from the airport, in a quiet suburb set in its own grounds. All the staff are English speaking, the bedrooms were a little sparse for a 5 star hotel, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ample and varied buffet style. We stayed 3 nights but didn't eat at the hotel in the evening. Watch out they charge you to park your car which didn't appear on any booking site in the information, it's not a lot but still adds up. No complaints at all.

Very disappointed. Should not be rated as 5* hotel

The hotel is very poorly run with insufficient staff. Only one front desk person (over worked and exhausted) was constantly struggling to catch up with the work. She did not have sufficient time to respond to customer questions and needs. There is no money exchange service or concierge to support and provide guidance to international visitors.

Breakfast & lunch areas - again short handed workers struggling to serve customer needs. Tables and utensils were dirty and not properly cleaned. Running out of food and juice.

Air conditioning system is inefficient and ineffective to make the room comfortable for sleeping.

My hats off to the working staff - very sincere and hard working to serve the best they can with insufficient resources.

The aircondition in the winter does not work. Just fan. You need to open window to regulate the temperature inside of the room. The neighbours do the same and one can hear noisy conversations. There is a problem to connect any electronic device at the night tables, only aviable electric outlets are located at the desk. It was impossible to turn off the light in the bar. The adivce from the frontdesk was to remove the card in order to turn off all systems. Eventually the maintanace had to remove the bulb, because the switch was broken.
Staff was extremally nice helpfull and polite. The breakfast was very good and personel very accomodative for my diet.

I stayed in this hotel one night on a business trip. I did not eat there so I can not comment on the food.

The staff was very helpful and polite and made the arragements for transportation to the airport early the following morning.

The room was quiet and very comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the shower which had no place for your soap or shampoo plus it was very small even for a European shower.

If I need a hotel in Krakow in the future I will definitely stay there again.

Would recommend this hotel if on business trip and you did not require a very central Krakow location. 10 min walk to tram station beside Harley Davidson shop, with another 10min tram into Krakows old town outskirts. (or a 20PLN taxi ride to centre). Hotel staff very friendly, no pool, but good food, bar and gardens. On a negative comment, my wife left a necklace and locket pendant in our bedroom bathroom on a shelf and forgot to pack it. We called hotel from home, but were told cleaning staff did not report it as a find.
Driveway into hotel does not have street lights so difficult to manuver with children after sunset. Also lots of roadworks/ broken pathways and noise just outside hotel complex.
On Krakow - it is an amazing, beautiful city - give yourself a few days at least there. We travelled in August and weather was great. With relatively cheap pricing, would highly recommend that you get a hotel in the centre of town so that you can walk, tram in the centre beautiful areas.

This hotel was nice, and the price was unbeatable, but the beds were way too hard for the quality we were expecting of it. We didn't sleep well at all.
Nice breakfast buffet though (with a cook specially for cooking eggs the way you like them).

The garden is very beautiful and breakfast is rich and it is what you expect from a 5 star hotel. However, the room we were in (wife + child), was small. There is NO Wi FI in rooms (only direct cable). This is for me a big minus !

The hotel is good if you have a car. It is 5 kilometeres from city center (which is still in Krakow - no worries).

don't stay in this hotel if you only have 2-3 days

i stayed in this hotel for the weekend. It's really too far away from the city centre. when i took the taxi from train station to hotel, the taxi driver tried to charge me PLN52 (normally only cost PLN20) which gave me bad feelings. I started to use public transport right after this incidence.

Value for $ is good. Breakfast is fine for the price you pay. However, if you only have 2-3 days in Krokow, you'll be better off if staying in a hotel closer to centre city.

Overall great stay

The staff was incredibly helpful. It is about 15 minutes from the airport, and about the same to downtown via taxi. If you want to be close to public transport to either, this is not ideal, but the reasonable $$$ more than makes up for it. (To get to the trambei to downtown it is a good 15 min walk) Be aware that there is currently construction in the area. You can not hear it from the hotel. Business center was easily accessible with free internet, printing, and photocopying. Overall very happy with my stay. Beware of taxi drivers quoting you a flat rate to bus or airport. Make them run the meter regardless of what they say the price should be!!!

last piece of info-a 5 star hotel in Europe is NOT what you are used to if coming from the USA. It is more like a 3 star. I guess we are spoiled in the USA.

Very pleasant receptionist who checked us in,she spoke fluent english and even arranged two tours for us with collection from the hotel.the hotel is very clean and rooms are spacious but lacking a bath.Breakfast is plentyful with a choice of hot or cold food.The hotel has very nice gardens which we couldn't use due to the weather but they looked nice all the same.The porter is very helpful with bags to room,calling the lift,door opening,etc, which all adds to the a nice feel.One major problem was the road outside the hotel was been remodeled which made it a bit of a building site on the lead up to the hotel but that will be finished soon i'm sure.

Great hotel, not so great location

Title says it all! Lovely hotel, very nice room for a very good price. Very comfortable, clean, with friendly staff. However, the location is pretty awful. It's either a taxi ride or a 10 minute walk + 15 minute tram journey into the centre. I didn't mind this, but I'm sure it wouldn't be ideal for a lot of people. If this isn't an issue, though, then I'd highly recommend the hotel.

We hadden twee kamers geboekt, maar helaas lagen deze niet naast elkaar. 1 kamer op het gelijkvloers en de andere op de 2de verdieping. Bij aankomst deed de receptioniste geen enkele moeite om ons tegemoet te komen en kwam bovendien onvriendelijk over. Gelukkig was een ander personeelslid wél vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar toch wilde ze deze niet omboeken.

De spa was gesloten tijdens ons verblijf, wat teleurstellend was aangezien dit een van de redenen was waarom we voor dit hotel kozen. Ook het ontbijt voldeed niet aan de verwachtingen van een vijfsterrenhotel, en hetzelfde geldt voor de kamers.

Over het algemeen voldeed het verblijf niet aan onze verwachtingen.

Das Hotel ist ingesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal scheint manchmal etwas überfordert. Die Karten als Zimmerschlüssel funktionieren nur selten, so dass man fast täglich die Karten neu codieren lassen muss um ins Zimmer zu kommen. Das Frühstück ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel nicht angemessen aber ausreichend.
Bis in die Innenstadt ist es relativ weit.
Für eine Anfahrt mit dem Auto von der Autobahn kommend ist es ideal gelegen.

Hotel, który zatrzymał się w poprzedniej epoce. 5 gwiazdek, a i owszem ale 50 lat temu. W pokojach zamknięte na klucz minibary, aby włozyc do lodówki butelkę wody najpierw nalezy iść lub zadzwonić do recepcji, która rząda depozytu. Fitness centrum szumnie brzmiące z nazwy nie posiadało połowy urzadzeń sprawnych. Aby korzystać ze SPA należy dodatkowo zapłacić, jak równiez za parking. jedynie co ratuje ten hotel to bardzo przyjazna I pomocna obsługa personelu.

Pięć gwiazdek to dużo za dużo

Pobyt był fajny lecz kilka rzeczy sprawiło że był tylko fajny. Po pierwsze dodatkowa płatność za SPA, sprzęt w fitness roomie w stanie nie pozwalającym na używanie go oraz wisienka na torcie lodówka w pokoju zamknięta na klucz.

Vi uppfattade väl inte direkt vid bokning att hotellet låg ca 20 min utanför centrum.
Nu kostade en taxi dit ca 70sek så vi dog väl inte.
Väl där så tog vi emot bra och rummen var helt ok men 5 stjärnor i Polen är 3 stjärnor hemma( enligt mig)

Vi hyrde spa-delen där jacuzzin bara funkade på minsta farten så det var ju ett antiklimax.

Vi restaurangen så var vi tvungna att gå till reception för att påminna att vi satt i baren och väntade, då hade 2 st servitörer sprungit runt oss i 10 min utan att fråga eller en hälsa på oss.
Så jag var tvungen att fråga henne i receptionen om jag var osynlig, hon kollade på mig och sa -nooooooo

Så summan för detta 5-stjärniga är totalt 2 tegelstenar från oss:

Rein og fin hotell litt problemer med manglende personalle for tiden men de i resepsjonen strekker seg langt for at du skal ha det best mulig under oppholdet. Stort minus at baren er stengt under gruppearangamanger.

Nie wieder! Weit weg von einem 5* Hotel (max.3.5*)

Das Hotel liegt in der NAehe des Flughafens (Hilton am Flughafen war ausgebucht)
Jedoch an der Autobahn.
Aergerlich war fuer mich, dass es bei einer Abreise um 6:30 nicht moeglich war ein Fruehstuck zu bekommen (Versuch am Vorabend).
Trotz des mitbezahlten Fruehstuecks, waere ein \"Lunch paket\" kostenpflichtig gewesen. Kaffee oder andere Getraenke haette man sich selbst organisieren muessen.
Desweiteren war ich um 20 uhr der einige Gast im Restaurant. --> Kein gutes Zeichen.
Das Hotel ist von 5 Sternen sehr weit weg. Verdient nich mal 4.
Ich werde dort nie wieder naechtigen.

Godt og skidt på samme tid

Hotellet var billig ifht 5* hotel. Da vi ankom, føltes hotellet mere som en 3-4 stjernet end en 5 stjernet. Hotellet var i nogle områder lidt forældet, og selvom der var blevet gjort rent, virket der støvet og \"gammeldags\".

De fleste personale var venlige, dog var den ene personale (mandlig) så mig sidde i lobbyen og uden grund kaldte mig for \"kurwa\" hvilket jeg ved er et bandeord. Hvorfor, ved jeg ikke. Men respektløs er det.

For en 5 stjernet hotel var morgenmaden ringe.

Alt i alt villle hotellet være perfekt som en 3 stjernet hotel og for prisen.
