Crystal suites was tucked away down a quiet but beautiful side street, right next to a park and within a short walk of the centre. The accommodation was spacious, extremely clean and had all the amenities needed for our stay. We were extremely pleased with our choice. However the icing on the cake came with the suites manager, Anna. She was welcoming, instructive and extremely helpful. We had local specialty suggestions for dinner and breakfast as well as coffee and a helpful map with highlighted areas as 'must sees'. Anna also came to our rescue when our tour to Auschwitz was cancelled at the last minute. We had a wonderfully relaxing time taking in the sights and the delicious cuisine recommended to us. Thank you for making our stay so memorable

I stayed here with my husband and two young children. The Property Manager, Anna, was excellent from the start in communicating check in instructions. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and very functional. It served our needs well. On the street parking was readily available. We would stay here again.

Lovely, clean, spacious apartment in an excellent location. What more could you want? How about friendly receptionists (such as Kristian), and fresh towels when needed. And a teapot!
The starter fridge stocking service was so helpful and introduced me to cheese I would not otherwise have tried. There was enough for breakfast and lunch for 4 days, and a yummy treat.
There are several restaurants within walking distance. We loved PPP at 29 Karmelicka for inexpensive traditional food. There is a small grocery and liquor store at the end of the block. It is less than 15 minutes walk to the main square.

Lovely accommodation!

We were 3 friends and had a 2 bedroom apartment, so everyone had their own bed. Very comfortable - large rooms, 2 bathrooms - very comfortable stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Even had a washer so we could do a load of laundry (soap included). Kitchen stocked with coffee and tea. We booked with breakfast and had a tasty bagel each morning at Cupcake Corner. We even went back one afternoon for a delicious cupcake. Would highly recommend Crystal Suites - location was perfect for exploring Krakow!

This hotel was fantastic. It was conveniently located in a nice neighborhood about a 10 minute to the city center. You felt like you were coming back to your home each night, as the apartment had everything you needed. Anna and the rest of the staff were happy to assist you in locating attractions and answering any questions. I would absolutely stay here again

Beautiful place, clean and quiet

We absolutely loved this apartment hotel! Check in was easy and everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautiful and very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and linens were good quality. It was nice to have two bathrooms, we had one of the apartments with two bedrooms and both bedrooms were very private. The big soaker tub upstairs was a plus. All the furnishings were very nice and the kitchen is well equipped. The carpet in the upstairs was worn and needed to be replaced, but the entire house was very clean. This place is absolutely beautiful and has lovely views. It’s only 10 minutes to walk to Kraków centrum. I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Krakow!

This hotel is simply wonderful. It is elegantly outfitted, and care is taken to make it extremely comfortable. For instance, fresh and good coffee is provided in the rooms. As is a washing machine, so you can do your own laundry at the end of the visit. I appreciated that there was not daily maid service. Not only do I not like shooing the maid away all the time, I really like the environmentally friendly, sustainable way in which the hotel is managed. The suites are quiet and you are given ample privacy and independence to conduct your stay as you like. I just loved it.

Great stay

Lovely, clean apartment. Looked like the online photo. Secure building. The staff was very helpful. We walked in the area and thruout Krakow without concern. Old town was a 10 minute walk. A grocery was a 3minute walk. Breakfast was limited in the area to bagels. I would definitely ateky stay here again.

Classic Old Europe - but NOT a \"hotel\"

Crystal Suites Old Town is NOT a \"hotel\".
Rather, its a few apartments in an apartment block in the Krakow city center near the main square.
2 room apartment was clean and classic Old Europe.
But remember - this is NOT a hotel. Hence the \"breakfast\" you can buy isn't a breakfast at all.
You get to go outside down the corner to a Cupcake shop where you get either a cupcake or bagel with coffee or tea.
Seriously.
But there is NOTHING \"hotel-ish\" about Crystal.
And if you don't show up before 9pm, the night crew don't speak a drop of english. Not a word.
Driver's beware! Crystal has ZERO available parking. Period. So you're left to fend for yourself. And on an isolated one-way dead end corner, you're not parking nearby.
Would I rent again? Maybe. It wasn't cheap and really, it's just a high-end Hostel.

Such a steal !

I was suprised at how big and my room was ( Well equipped Kitchen area with a sitting area, living room, bedroom and bathroom with a bath tub!) . Area is very safe , receptionist staff very friendly ( Anna, Margaret and others). They helped me plan a trip to the salt mines as well, and arranged all my taxis .Wifi is excellent , location is central and I walked to all the places around ( old town, jewish quarters,Wavel castle ) though the area is well networked by Trams and buses . Some good places to eat in the area as well, there is a 24 hour general store and an apothecary too , so its very convenient ,.There is cupcake place right around the corner which also serves excellent coffee .For the price I paid, this place was such a steal !

Nice Apartment in a Good Location

We arrived much earlier than check-in time and since our apartment was not ready, they took care of our luggage until we could check in. It was a comfortable and large room in a location that allowed us to walk to Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. There are great restaurants nearby (one on a side street the next block that was amazing). This was the second time we stayed there and would stay there again.

A home away from home on Christmas vacation

Initially, we selected Crystal Suites based on location, specifically to the tour origination places. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised, not only by the physical appearance of the suites, but by the friendly staff who welcomed us and made sure we had all the right tools to enjoy Krakow. We walked into the room to a wonderful and warm image of \"home\", not just a room but a true living space. As a family, we enjoyed BEING IN THE SUITE! We had ample space, the convenience of a kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a wonderful master suite (calm even when facing the street). We explored a lot of the town of Krakow thanks to the proximity to main square; we found bakeries, coffee shops, pizzerias, the theater, and made it to the tours with just a 10-minute walk. We are thinking of returning, not just to Krakow, but to Crystal Suites to reenact the joy in visiting this lovely town. The personnel and security staff helped us in every aspect of the stay, including securing transportation to the airport (very punctual and polite driver). Our family was very pleased with Crystal Suites Old Town and highly recommend it.

Lovely room in an excellent location

The apartments are highly ranked on Expedia and TripAdvisor for good reason. They are a 10 minute walk from the main square, nicely furnished and very spacious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Krakow is a superb location for a weekend break and Crystal Suites represent an excellent base to explore.

My wife and I, as well as 2 friends in another room found this hotel to be clean and priced well for the somewhat on a budget travelers. We got around easily on foot, and to the train and bus stations in very inexpensive taxi rides. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we return to Kraków, we hope to stay here. VERY nice staff. Our friends had 2 double beds and my wife and I shared a twin. That did not work well as we are slender. I decided to sleep on the couch because the twin did not allow any movement as we would have nearly gone over the edge.Other than this, we had a very good stay at Crystal Suites with no complications at all. Almost 5 stars.

Charming apartments near old Town Krakow.

I was in Krakow for a short 4 day business trip. The Crystal Suites is not a hotel.....but really about a dozen nice apartments.....the staff is minimal but very helpful and friendly. I would say this is a 3 plus place.......good value for the money....quiet enough...on a side street. There is no food or food service at the Crystal Suites, but cafes and restaurants are a short walk away. The small kitchen is fine, but food prices are so inexpensive for an American, little need to cook in the apartment. I had a very pleasant stay and will likely return.

Great hidden secret of Krakow

A hidden oasis in central Krakow only 1omins walking distance from the main square, great staff and really helpful.

A perfect example of which was my wife caught a bald flu bug, which laid her up for a couple of days on the day we were suppose to checkout she was still fairly weak and we didn't want to have to wander the streets until our train at 9pm that night, reception let us stay until 8pm in our room until our train departure.

Cant say enough how we really appreciated that.

Overall a very great and comfortable stay. The only negative was that the room was not cleaned during our week long stay (it was however spotless and perfectly cleaned when we arrived). We would have liked the room to have been cleaned and fresh towels brought up at least once during our stay (I had to ask for fresh towels). Apart from that, it was a perfect, lovely and cosy hotel.

We only stayed one night at Crystal Suites, but I wished we'd been able to stay longer. Spacious, two-room suite with all the comforts of home. Best value of all the hotels we stayed in in Central & Eastern Europe. Staff went out of their way to meet out needs, make recommendations, and answer our questions. Short walk to Old Town Square and to the airport bus.

This is a quiet and very attractive hotel, close to the city centre. All staff were very helpful. The weather was extremely and unseasonably hot and there is no air conditioning in the rooms but the staff supplied a portable one which helped a lot. We are big people and the bed was a bit small but comfortable if you are not too tall.

There were no laundry facilities in sight but neither did we ask. Overall, we were very happy and recommend this hotel especially as staff made a big effort to help and advise.

From before we even arrived the staff was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. While there they helped with securing drivers for sightseeing trips as well as recommending good places to go to eat since we also had kids with us. The bakery attached to the hotel was an added bonus.

The place to stay in Krakow

My wife and I loved the apartment, which was spacious and well equipped with eveything you'd need for a self catering holiday but in fairness we ate out every lunch and evening but for us a filter coffee and toast in a lovely living room/kitcher diner was a pleasant start to our days in Krakow. The apartment block had a hotel style reception which was staffed 24hrs a day and these guys were what made it for me, they were so helpful in giving advice and booking day trips for us. The walk to the old town was only 5mins so location is good too. It's all good!

First time in Krakow

This was a spacious apartment, well heated and convenient for the Old Town. My husband and I stayed 8 nights; the bed was very comfortable. There was no clock in the apartment. The staff were friendly. It was easy to walk to restaurants and to cover the whole of central Krakow on foot. We had a taxi on arrival but discovered it was a short walk to the bus stop to get the bus back to the airport. There is a 24 hour supermarket a short walk away on the corner with the main road. We visited the salt mine which was interesting, and countless churches! We loved Krakow.

Lovely stay!!

Wonderful stay! Arrived after a late flight by transfer which hotel kindly arranged for us. Apartment was warm and cosy. Bed was really comfortable and we slept well. Beautiful bathroom with underfloor heating. There was a small kitchen with all the basics you needed. Did not have breakfast at Cupcake Corner but 24 hour supermarket very close by had all you needed to have breakfast in the apartment. Hotel arranged 2 trips for us with Krakov Direct who were also excellent. We just asked the night before and they arranged everything and told us what time to be ready in the morning. All the staff spoke excellent English and went out of their way to be friendly and ask if everything was ok for us. A lovely trip. Would recommend Crystal Suites to friends and family.

Perfect Apt Outside City Center

If you're looking for a clean, light, airy apartment in a great location, look no more! Located right outside the city center (i.e. away from the noise, but within walking distance to all the sights), Crystal Suites offers decent-sized studio apartments equipped with big baths, kitchenettes, and a friendly staff. As a single female traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable. While this is not a hotel with room service, they hotel staff offer plenty of support, including tour bookings and fridge stockings! Wonderful stay! Recommend.

Just returned from 3 night stop and the apartment lived up to indeed was every bit as good as we had hoped for! Very clean and we had apartment 4 which first floor was on the corner of the building. Would recommend to anyone, better than a hotel and very reasonable (cheap as chips)!

Lovely apartment- a lot higher spec than the photos show. Our room (3) was styled with an English hunt theme but fixtures, fittings bed etc were modern.
The staff really couldn't have been nicer, such friendly and relaxed people.
Quite convenient for the visiting the central square in Krakow. We also used the trams just outside to go to Schindler's factory (just outside of town)
Coffee maker with coffee and filters in the room which was great :-)
Very comfortable bed.
We forgot to bring European adapters but charged our phones via the USB ports on the digi box
The apartment felt special anfd the price was the same as a private room in a hostel

Best pad in town!

Two night stay (wish it had been longer) - could not rate accommodation highly enough. Unobtrusive helpful staff, well equipped (fresh coffee supplied) and very well situated. The only thing I would say is DON'T book any tours etc. until you have checked prices in town and a few more English t.v. channels would have been appreciated!!

Simply perfect place to enjoy Krakow

The Crystal Suites apartment was amazing. It was by far the best accomodation I have had while travelling, ever. I would encourage anyone seeking a prime location and complete privacy similar to you own home. The staff is wonderful and made every effort to ensure our comfort. The rooms were large, clean, and well furnished. We did not take advantage of the kitched beyond coffee but I would recommend stocking a few items for breakfast and the occasional snack. having a washing machine in the room was a life saver. I can think of only three improvements, the first would be a fan for the warmer nights. Second would be a clothes drying rack or line in the apartment (although a dryer is available downstairs if desired). Lastly, the pigeons on the window sill are quite loud, so some of the wire spines on the ledges would be helpful. These are very small and picky items. Overall the place was simply wonderful and I will stay there again. Krakow is my favorite city and I have now found my preferred accomodation while visiting.

Perfect Accomodation

As arranged with Chrystal Suites, we were met by the taxi driver as we came out of the airport, we had an interesting conversation with the driver and arrived at Chrystal Suites where we were welcomed by a very helpful young man at Reception. He showed us to our apartment which we found to be exceptional, he explained all the facilities in the apartment. Throughout the 5 days that we stayed the reception staff were available throughout the day and were most helpful and provided us with any information that we asked for. Our excursions were booked at reception, transport picking us up at and returning us to the apartments. We were more than impressed with the clean and modern apartment that had all the facilities that we required. The apartments were very secure with a night guard on duty after the staff left till they returned in the morning. The location was ideal depending on how fast we walked, between 5 and 10 minutes from the town centre, if necessary local transport was only 200 metres away. Our return taxi to the airport was organised by the staff and again we had a pleasant conversation withe the taxi driver.

A brilliant place to stay

Had a really enjoyable time staying at Crystal Suites. Excellent location - only about 5 mins walk from the main square and close to a tram line but a nice quiet location. There is a shop close by which is very handy for buying bread, milk, etc and some very nice restaurants. The room was lovely and well equipped. Bathroom was excellent and everything was very clean and in good working order throughout the apartment. Staff were friendly and on hand if you needed any help. Only problem we had was working out how to get in at first as there is no obvious sign that you are in the right place. Rang the reception and someone came straight away to help us out though.

Hotellet/leiligheten er bra. Stor og fin leilighet. Frokostløsningen er IKKE tilfredstillende. Frokost fikk vi i en liten kaffe rett ved i samme bygg. Der fikk vi en kaffe og en donut. ville vi ha noe i tilegg, måtte vi betale for det. Il posto è molto carino ed anche curato. Però dato il prezzo mi sarei aspettata qualcosa in più.. il cambio della biancheria da bagno almeno una volta...una pulizia più accurata dei tappeti che erano pieni di polvere..per il resto tutte le ragazze sono state gentilissime e attente ad ogni esigenza...vicinissimo alla piazza principale...anche se ne periodo del mio breve soggiorno era in rifacimento il manto stradale e quindi è stato un po’ più complicato passeggiarci...lo consiglio per brevi soggiorn.

Beautiful place

Nice building and a beautiful spacious room near the center of Krakow. Staff very friendly. We had a room for six people, but it is more suitable for four or five. The sofabed was so uncomfortable, that it's impossible for two adults to sleep. Would like to stay here again, but not sleep in the sofabed.

再訪の際には泊まりたいアパート

クラクフに再訪する際には泊まりたいアパートです。
メインの観光地から歩いて10分弱、スーパーも近くにあり便利。
手ぶらだと駅から歩くことも苦ではないですが、重たい荷物をもってだと大変かも。また、最寄り駅からも少し歩くので、重たいスーツケースをお持ちの方は、駅からタクシーに乗るのが無難ですが、かなりぼったくられるので覚悟が必要です。
スタッフの方もとても親切ですが、英語ができる方の滞在時間は限られていますので、要注意です。

Wunderschönes Appartment in zentraler Lage

Wir waren zu zweit an einem Wochenende in Krakau und haben dieses tolle Apartment gebucht:
SERVICE: Vom Einchecken über Erklärungen zur Wohnung, Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants bis zum Auschecken ein rundum toller Service.
APPARTMENT: wir hatten ein 54m² Dachgeschoss-Apartment. So eine Wohnung zuhause und ich würde sofort einziehen. Die Ausstattung sehr funktional, stylisch und durchdacht. Eine komplett ausgestattete Küche mit 2 Kühlschränken, ein großes Bad mit Waschmaschine, Fön, Bügelbrett, etc..., Im Wohnzimmer ein TV mit Bose Soundbar. Nachts sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung 1A+
LAGE: Zentral zu Fuß in 10min zur Altstadt (Rynek), in 20min zur Burg (Wawel), in 30min in jüdischen Viertel - direkt nebenan ist ein neues Ausgehviertel \"Tytano\" - alte Fabrikhallen, dort sind nun Restaurants, Bars und Clubs drin.
FAZIT: Apartment empfehle ich zu 100% weiter und komme gerne wieder
