Highly recommend this hotel. The staff were fabulous, so helpful and accomodating. We travelled with another family so we booked the Ventus & Silva Apartments. They were so spacious with high ceilings & so private and quiet even though one was facing on to the street. Huge big beds and the apartment was furnished with everything we could have needed. A really short walk to the main square. Highly recommend Szewska 22 Boutique.

Me and my mum had a fabulous stay at the hotel. The staff were all really nice and helpful, the room was lovely and cosy and clean, and the location of the hotel could not have been better. We had breakfast included in our stay and were so glad we did as the restaurant was in a beautiful spot overlooking the park and the food was really nice with plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! The location was perfect, it was so close to everything and felt like a safe area. The staff were lovely and we were able to check in slightly early when we arrived as our room was ready. The room was absolutely gorgeous and very clean and had everything we needed. Have already recommended it to 2 people planning trips to Krakow!

The Negatives:
• Poor Cleaning: Found small black hairs on bedding, door frames, and furniture. Thick dust on extraction fans, radiators, and toilet roll holders.
• Maintenance Issues: Main light flickered and an electrical socket was hanging off the wall.
• Bathroom Condition: Visible mold in shower grout/corners and a very slow-draining shower.
• No Elevator: Located on the 2nd floor with no lift. Hauling luggage up two flights of stairs was not clearly communicated in advance when I made the booking, only received this information a couple of nights before arriving.
• Systemic Issues: After being shown two alternative rooms for a swap, I found they suffered from the exact same dust, mold, and hair issues. Management offered a refund rather than a proper cleaning. Since I was only there for a few nights, I stayed, but this property desperately needs a deep clean and a maintenance overhaul. Only the shower drain improved after the room swap.

The check in went great. Nice lady. Location was also great but our room had a very foul sewer like smell coming from the bathroom. At first we thought the plug in air freshener scent was the issue so we removed that from the room along with one other air freshener we found under the sink in the bathroom. This solved the strong artificial smell but not the root cause which was coming from the bathroom. It made it very hard to be in the bathroom at all. We kept the door closed tight and opened the window to get fresh air. When I mentioned the issue to the number given at check in all we got was a \"thanks for letting us know....we will look into that.\" response. Of course they know very well it smells because they used two types of air fresheners in the bathroom to try and cover up the smell. I would not stay here again nor recommend anyone stay in room 7 at least. I have no idea if all their rooms smell or we just got \"lucky\".

Wonderful second stay at this little gem of a hotel. Location is fabulous literally a stones throw from the main square where you’ll find lots of fabulous bars & restaurants to choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable. We knew there was no lift and were prepared for the stairs. Very handy location for getting around but the downside was that it is on a very busy street of cafes, bars and shops and the noise is constant throughout the night. The reception staff were superb and could not have been more friendly and helpful and the breakfast at the restaurant just a few doors away was excellent.

The room was lovely! Clean, very spacious and comfortable! Staff were friendly however upon arrival we were told several times there would be someone to help us with our bags but there was just a small girl there and she said she could not help. We are on holiday for 2 weeks and had 2 very heavy bags. We were told they were on the 2nd floor.. but that is also not true. We climbed 4 flights of stairs by ourselves with a total of 90 pounds of bags. We did not appreciate the misinformation.

The hotel was absolutely lovely. Although you do not interact with staff much, except for at check-in, they were very friendly. Cleanliness was great, as were the facilities.

Location is excellent with lots of options for food and drinks.

The only two minor issues were that taxi’s are unable to collect you from the hotel, having to park a street away for collection. Also; there is no lift and if you are on the very top floor (as we were) it’s three flights of stairs which can be pretty tiring after a full day.

The hotel on the whole was fine. Good location and room clean and tidy. There were a lot of stairs to get to our room (84) and no lift which could be difficult if you are unfit especially with luggage. Our room was at the back so quiet but our friends were at the front and found it very noisy as we were above a bar. Only complaints with the room were the duvet cover wasn’t quite big enough for the bed and the towels were not changed every day but were taken and we only ended up with 2 towels. What a superb place to stay! From the moment we arrived we knew it would be a lovely experience! The accommodation is absolutely perfect! The location is 100% for any visit to Krakow! Nestled in the heart of the city and the building holds such wonderful history. The place is immaculate and spotlessly clean! The bed is super comfy and HUGE! The bedding is great quality too! The room is spacious, as is the bathroom with a top quality shower! Wi fi is great! Netflix was a bonus after a long day visiting the city. The staff are super friendly and accommodating! There is nothing remotely negative about this gem of a place and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a stay here! We will most definitely be back!!!

Absolute gem of a hotel a stone’s throw off Old Town main square with all main attractions within easy walking distance and lots of eating and drinking options all around. Had room 9, the Folium, on the top floor which was very spacious, really nicely decorated and well appointed with tea/coffee making facilities, iron/ironing board and a great bathroom - the bed was huge and the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever had! Check in was swift and seamless and the staff were amazing; so helpful and friendly and we were able to leave our bags with reception for collection in the evening due to a later flight time. Had breakfast in the room rate which was taken in an adjoining restaurant, the Resto Bar Zalipianki and was extremely good food with a wide choice of items and very flexible serving between 09:00 - 13:00 hrs so you could take breakfast or brunch. But back to 22 Szewska Boutique: my newest favourite hotel - will definitely be my ‘go-to’ next time I’m in Krakow and can’t wait to return! Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

This was my first time in Krakow in 7 years and my first with my wife instead of friends so this time around I wanted a nice hotel. This really didn’t disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location really is brilliant as it’s a 5 min walk to the centre of the Square. Most importantly though, the room was immaculate and exactly what we needed after days of about 20k steps seeing what Krakow had to offer.

We’re already planning on going back next year and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Absolutely perfect for a few days in such a great city!!

We had a great time in Krakow! The bed was incredibly comfy, and the receptionist we met at check-in was lovely and very helpful. The room was immaculately clean, and on Valentine’s Day, we even found chocolates left for us, which was a really nice touch.

That said, there were a couple of downsides. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and while we knew the hotel had steps, being on the top floor made them quite a workout. I had injured my knee before the trip, which made them even more challenging, so it’s something to keep in mind if mobility is a concern.

Noise was another issue. Our room faced the courtyard, and while we expected some city-centre noise, the music from the outdoor seating area at Pizzatopia was much louder than anticipated and played all night. Previous reviews mostly mentioned street-facing rooms having some noise, so this caught us by surprise.

That said, the location was fantastic, the staff were lovely, and the room was spacious and warm. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Just be aware of the steps and potential noise if you’re a light sleeper!

We found this hotel to be great. It's in a really good position just off the main square so everything in old town is easily walkable. We were met by a lovely young lady who helped us with our cases - our room was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift - but they made this very clear on booking so we weren't worried. The room was large with a great comfy bed and lovely bathroom with a great shower.

We paid extra for the breakfast in the restaurant/cafe just down the road and this was good. On the day of our flight home because we would be leaving before the cafe opened the lady at the hotel arranged for a breakfast we could pick up and keep in our mini fridge overnight.

On New Year's Eve the hotel left a Happy New Year Card a small bottle of prosecco and some cherry chocolates which was a lovely touch.

We'd definitely recommend this hotel for those who don't struggle with steps and want somewhere close to the main square.

The lovely young lady in reception was so helpful and welcoming - a real asset to this hotel.

We were able to do it but if you have trouble carring your luggage up steps this is not the place for you. It was also noisy if the window was open because there was a bar that was open all night long across the street. It was close to all the attractions and there was helpful information in the lobby along with coffee anytime.
