Very close to the main square. Cute little room for a night or two. It was walkable from the train station but not so easy when you’re dragging your luggage behind you due to the cobblestone streets. The foyer of the building isn’t very attractive and needs a major facelift. A little sketchy looking. The room was bright and clean and adequate for our needs. An actual coffee maker would have been nice. They do provide instant and a coffee press but we didn’t care for it. We were able to wash our clothes and dry them which was a bonus. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

This period hotel is amazing. The tastefully decorated rooms have breathtaking main square views. The customer service is great and the staff very understanding and helpful. You won't find many places like this. Just open the windows and breathe in the atmosphere of the surroundings . Simply beautiful. Highly recommended!

We found the apartment perfect for our 3 night break. being locayed just 30secs from the old town main square and with a balcony goving you a view into the square it was just right. walking diatance to the station 10 to 15 mins and easily walkable to all the main old town jewish quarter castle and schindlers factory.

Invaluable advice from the staff checking us in about places to go and places to avoid.

Apartment had everything we needed apart from a couple of blankets for sitting on the balcony and maybe a small balcony heater.

Would rwcommend Fragola apRtments as a great base.

We stayed in an apartment with the most amazing views of the square and architecture. The decor was top notch, very clean throughout with all facilities you would require. Location was outstanding.
The one downside was the noise from the nearby nightclub (I think it was actually situated in the same building complex). The loud music started early on from about 7pm and at 2am we could still hear it. Having said that, I could live with the noise as the apartment is spectacular, others however may not be able to cope (even with the ear plugs they provide). I personally would stay again.

Amazing location. Easy walks to great restaurants and sights. We had #2B I believe and it has both a reception hall and Feniks dance club underneath it. As NY’ers we weren’t bothered by the endless thumping. We went to sleep to the music with no problems. However, the one morning we attempted sleep in, renovations began next door at 8 am. Not fun but could have been worse. My only real complaint is how quick the hot water runs out when you shower. That bothered me more than the noise.

Amazing Stay and best location in Krakow

This was a great stay. The room was nice and spacious and very comfortable. The appartments location was fantastic. We were right in front of the main square in Stare Miasto. Coffee, tea and water was free. The place also has a washer and dryer witch was great considering we were visiting 4 countries in 2 weeks with only carry-ons. Also, the employees are really friendly.

Unfortunately this was our first bad experience with Expedia. We arrived to our building and had to get through 3 different coded doors to get into the room. This was very time consuming and we felt security could be an issue. The room was clean, however smaller than what the photos show. The king sized bed was more like two cots pushed together. Not at all what we were expecting, especially for the price. We immediately left and opted for a near by hotel.

This property was a self contained flat. It had everything you needed. Including a washing machine, a dishwasher microwave and hob. They left ample tea , coffee and sugar. It was literally on the main square. It was also quiet in the property. It was definitely value for money. We were really impressed with it. A central stay with the main sqaure less than 10 steps from the apartments. The apartments does not offer 24/7 reception which is why I have knocked a star off; if it had this then that would help keep the noise levels down in the different rooms; they provide ear plugs which you'll probably need!

We've just had the best 4 days in these apartments at Feniks Fragola and would definitely come back. The location overlooking the square (not all apartments have a view so beware) is perfect and you're literally in the centre of everything. Clean, well equipped with really lovely staff.

The only slight negative was lack of information before we arrived in terms of getting access to the apartment. We found at least another 2 or 3 couples experienced the same issue during our stay and we let them in. That aside everything else was first class.

The staff are lovely at reception and were very kind to us. Checking in and out was so easy.

The apartment is lovely and light and in the most beautiful location. Such a gorgeous view from the window seat.
The main bed is very comfortable as are the bed linens. There is alot of helpful things in the apartment such as iron, glass wear, cutlery and fridge.

The only downside for me... I was disappointed in the sofa bed, although comfortable, it was rather dirty (the cushion ls are gross) and when I pulled it out to make the bed up, there was dirty tissues down the side and a vape on the floor behind with lots of dust. I also didn't think it was hygienic to store the coffee and sugar in the bathroom by the toilet.. It was a bit bizarre as there are alot of cupboards in the kitchenette area.

Other than that, it was great and I would definitely stay again.

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. We stayed in 2b fragola, queen room with a bay window. I loved sitting in looking out on to the main square. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed including a washing machine and dish washer. You could hear activity at night from the main square but it was part of the holiday. I would say there was some noise in morning which we think was the pubs and hotels getting stocked up but again due to location you can't expect anything else it didn't annoy or interrupt us. I would definitely stay again. You could also leave bags before and after check in which was very useful. There was tea, coffee and sugar in the room and a microwave.

Room with a view.

Lovely apartment, all about the location and the view, which must be the best in Krakow.

Spacious and clean, though for the price I think a couple of things could be improved. Entry, you need three codes and a phone link (which if there is poor coverage is a bit flaky), sometimes took a couple of minutes to get in. The lights are very bright (which is nice) but the standing lamp switch was broken, so the choise was all or nothing.
There was only a small amount of crockery, and it would have been nice to say have a welcome basket (or at least salt pepper and oil) for if you wanted to cook (and we did as it was a lovely place to eat looking our over the square), and the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken (didn't pump). Just little things, but it is one of the most expensive aprtments in the city so expectations are high.

You are right on the squre and near a nightclub entrance (thurs - sun I think), so there is some noise, but earplus were thoughtfully provided and we did sleep ok.

But would I stay again... Absolutely. The location is simply the best.

The staff are very welcoming and there is proper tea and coffee (including filter coffee, but sadly we had no way of using it). There’s even a radio in the toilet for your comfort!

We had a brilliant view and great sized balcony overlooking the old town square which is literally just outside the main door. The building is also very secure with 3 codes to access your room. 10/10.

Although it was a studio apartment it felt light and spacious and had good facilities including fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, hairdryer and kettle. There is a night club right underneath the hotel where you will hear the laud music and the party going on. You will not be able to sleep at night. Also the bathroom has a very laud water pump that goes off every 15-20 minutes making it impossible to stay asleep. Its quite terrible because the hotel is beautiful but it comes with laud noises.

Apartment was very spacious and very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. An excellent view of the square, really enjoyed sitting on the window seat, taking in the view and watching the trumpeter at top of St Mary’s church.
Ideal location for all the eating/drinking places. Had some lovely food, would recommend trying the Perogies.
I would recommend the apartments for a stay in Krakow.
P.S, noticed some people previously commented about the noise from outside, we found it ok, tended to start during down after 10.30pm. Didn’t bother us.

This hotel/apartment is in a great location. The room was clean, spacious, and was a great place to stay!

The only downside is the night club right below the units (on the ground level and maybe first level of the building). Unfortunately they kept going ‘til 5 AM on the weekends, making sleep next to impossible (I was on the second level and right above the club). Finally on Sunday it stopped at a reasonable hour.

I'm conflicted with how to review our stay, the location was brilliant, the service was great, the facilities were good....but the noise from nearby nightclubs was just too much.

The staff were friendly & helpful. They arranged airport transfers for us and offered advice on places to visit. The apartment itself was modern, clean & had everything needed for an apartment stay.

Our room on the second floor suffered badly from noise from a nightclub that opened at 4pm until the following 5am. I'm not exaggerating when I say things in the room were vibrating with the bass levels. We could hear the DJ speaking word for word & the shouting/screaming from the people.

The staff are obviously fully aware of the noise as they provided earplugs in the room for us & these did work so we didn't lose sleep....but we couldn't use the apartment to relax. Not exactly a romantic getaway sat looking at each other with earplugs in.

Obviously will not be an issue for some people who maybe want to party into the early hours but I wouldn't recommend staying here with children or if you're intending to use the apartment to relax in.

What an excellent experience!!
Could not fault this place. The location was a stones throw to the main square which was excellent. The balcony sold it to us when 1st booking. We were not disappointed, it was spacious, with a great view of the Basilica & trumpet playing priest (….you’ll know what we mean when you get there) there were comfy loungers & enjoyed the sun all morning. Sitting out there with coffee & pastries was a great way to start our day. The room was spotless & had all the comforts of home with added extras like a dishwasher, waterfall drench shower & built-in bathroom radio. If we needed extra towels etc we were given them. The Art Deco style felt luxurious & expensive. Ample storage & mood lighting a plenty.
We were given a noon check out free of charge & was able to leave our bags till we were ready to leave.
We loved Krakow & will 100% book here again!!

This apartment is really bare bones and has hostel vibes. For the price, it might be worth it to stay in a hotel since hotels have more accommodations than this. Regardless of the lack luster accommodations, the staff is really friendly and helpful which makes up for the actual apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fragola, they let us in our room early, which is always nice.
The room was very clean and the shower and jacuzzi bath were amazing.
