The only thing is that there is soap but is the same soap for your hands-hair-body. So bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you don’t want to use the 3 in 1 soap.

The Globtroter is in a great location, minutes from the main square, which we loved. The staff are really helpful, the rooms are big, very clean & warm, and the shower was powerful and worked well. Rooms also have access to a fridge which is handy. We were on the top floor so there were lots of stairs, not really a problem for us as we only walked down once to go out, then up once at the end of each day ... so much to see & do in Krakow and no need to go back to the hotel in the day! If we come back to Krakow we will definitely stay here again

Globtroter was a wonderful guesthouse. It is an older structure, in the Old Town two blocks from the Main Market Square. It is convenient to just about anything a tourist would want. Note there is no elevator. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Also it was very comfortable and quiet. It sits on a courtyard which is about 150 feet back from the street. You enter the courtyard area through a long hallway from the street. I did have a little trouble finding it my first time, but soon realized all I needed to do was look at signage at eye level on the street to find access to the hallway. I would definitely stay there again if I was lucky enough to return to Krakow.

Would recommend for solo travellers
Fantastic location right in the old town. Loads of bars and restaurants but not noisy as rooms in a rear courtyard. Comfy bed and good size shower. Hot water all day. Nice and warm (Feb stay so cold at night outside but heating good.) Room cleaned on request, but this is good if you don’t want to be disturbed after a late night!

Great location just off the main square of the old town of Krakow. Big double room with private facilities, the decor was dated but that didn't matter to us.Tea/coffee making and TV (not that we watched it). Staff very helpful and friendly, Would definitely consider stopping there again if we retuned to Krakow.

As a reasonably priced Guest House off Kraków’s main square we found our room to be basic but clean, warm and had everything we required for sleeping in. It was en suite and the shower was good with plenty of hot water throughout the day. The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful, friendly with very good English. Plenty of cafes in the vicinity for breakfast every morning and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Two negatives only - only one channel on TV and not in English, but this didn’t bother us, not on holiday for TV!! Also, walls were not sound proof and could hear people in the next room, on two nights. All in all a very good, value for money stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was in a good location for the Christmas Market. However the look and feel of the reception area, stairway, and room was not maintained and very outdated. The towel heater was broken and the grout in the bathroom was grimy. Also there were some type of insects in the bathroom at night. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I got 3pax room for 1. Portable electric water kettle, instant coffee sachet and tea are really a plus, since breakfast places seldom opens at 7 am and mostly at 9pm. Perfect location within the old town area, wherever directions are walkable. Staffs are hospitable. I strongly recommend the place for budget conscious like me and you will have a wonderful vacation.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Globtroter. It was pretty much right in the center of the city, and I could walk everywhere in matter of minutes. There was plenty of restaurants around, where I could get food. The guest house itself is a historic building, so there is no elevator, but going up 2 flights of stairs is really no big deal. The staff was extremely nice, and asked me every day if everything was ok, or if I needed anything. And if I did, it was taken care of in a matter of minutes! I was very impressed.

Great location, 100 yards from main square, 20 min walk to jewish area, lots of bars and restaurants within a 2 min walk clean and warm guest house, excellent value for money we asked for extra pillows and they were left in our room. We went for the Christmas markets and the location of the guesthouse meant we could be at the marjets within 2 minutes walk.

Wow, what a find! Within an hour of booking through Expedia, the hotel had emailed with a thanks for booking with plenty of info on how to find them (not easy), an offer to arrange airport transfer for a reasonable price which we took up (driver was waiting as we exited the airport, had a modern clean Transit, spoke excellent English and gave us brochures and advice on tours around Krakow), offered their services to arrange trips for us and asked about specific room requirements...a great start to show their customer service. On arrival, we were really pleased just viewing it from outside (small courtyard looking up at an almost Swiss mountain building) while the lady in the quaint/rustic/ethnic reception was very welcoming and helpful and took us to our room which, while dated, was spacious, warm and clean. Smallish single duvets on the beds were a concern but unwarranted given how cisy the room was. Next morning, the same lady arranged an afternoon salt mine tour for which the taxi arrived bang on time and the driver again made us feel welcome...paying for the tour was done when we were dropped off at the end. Back in the hotel, the staff booked an early start tour to Aushwitz for the following morning and even found us a cancellation at a reduced rate (they could have pocketed the full price). Short delay in starting the journey due to people not showing up but tour was superb although harrowing in the same measure. All told, highly recommended budget hotel.

This was an urgent booking after another hotel cancelled at less than 24 hours notice so we were incredibly grateful. The room was large, the beds were comfortable, it was all very clean, the position was excellent and the staff were helpful. It is however old fashioned, there was no TV or radio in the room and although it said there was a shared fridge on the landing we couldn't find one. That said, you don't stay in your room very long and it was certainly comfortable when we did. I really have no great criticism of it at all.

Really good little hotel right in the centre of Krakow near the main square. It's tucked away in a little courtyard so is extremely quiet. It's also very quaint and a little old fashioned.......which is nice.

The reception desk spoke good English, they were knowledgeable about local restaurants and were able to book my day tour for me. The only small issue I had was that it was very quiet until about 10pm on Saturday night. There is a nightclub downstairs that played music loud enough to boom up to the third floor. Not nice as I was getting over a cold. Other than that I could not have expected more for the price. Very nice.

The guesthouse was a bit hard to find for me as I arrived on Friday night and a lot of people were on the street and clubs were still opened. People were blocking the small signs and I had to ask someone sitting by the door to know that the guesthouse is actually inside behind the other stores in the front on the street. So do ask around.
It is value for money, everything is within good walking distance (main train station 15min away). Decent size room and a bed. Tour information is at the front desk and staff are friendly and helpful. Yes, the place is old and only towel and shower gel was available (ask front desk for hairdryer) but I am ok with it. Would stay here again if I come back.

It was a bit difficult to find especially if youre arriving late at night on a Friday because they share the same Main entrance as a Club so i was a bit lost. When i found it though it was pretty amazing. Wish they had AC since it was summer but they had a fan and that is great. Great location.
