This was a wonderful hotel located right in the middle of shopping and close to the square. The hotel staff was amazing and helpful. The location was so convenient to historical sites. We had an awesome trip!

The property was very rundown and in need of major renovations. Wooden floors creaked so loud that it sounded like we were crushing egg shells. Rooms were cleaned everyday, but not too well.
Staff was very nice. Breakfast was ok. Location was fantastic. However, with so many hotels in the area at similar prices I will be choosing a different place next time.

Nice location and overall a very good stay

Many more positives than negatives, the location was brilliant for a stay and at the price the hotel was good value for money. Staff at check in and for breakfast were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast offering was good, but was let down by the ‘hot’ options. Providing you are happy with bread and meats you will love breakfast. My partner however prefers a cooked breakfast and the options for this were limited and not particularly nice, probably because it was served as a buffet. The hotel was well cleaned, but the cleaning staff were let down by the outdated bathroom that needed a revamp. One of the more annoying aspects was the two separate duvets that were given to us in a double room. Not sure if this is the case all the time but it was not great for a couple.

It’s location - in the centre of the old town - makes it ideal for exploring on foot. The breakfast is very generous and staff are very helpful and friendly. Th only downside for us was the stairs to our room.

Within the Old Town of Krakow so handy for all the sights, shops etc. Less than a 10 minute walk from the main railway station if you come from the airport that way. Room was spacious, good bathroom (shower a bit weedy though), plenty of heat if you like the room warm but easy to control via thermostat. There's a restaurant downstairs (pizzeria) but the food is not all that brilliant and there's not a lot of room at breakfast if all guests decide to come down at once, so get there early!!

Nice room, pleasant reception, excellent breakfast. However, it was disappointing to realize that hotel was inaccessible by car. Wasted a lot of time to reach the hotel with the help of the GPS, but unable to do so. Customers should be warned to find a parking place of their choice before coming to the hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located to the meeting point for several free walking tours and a short walk to the main square. I loved the location! The on site restaurant was a great place to get a quick dinner before heading out for evening activities. Additionally, the staff was very helpful when I had questions.

Great hotel, lovely staff and fantastic location!!! Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and spoke English.
WiFi signal was hit and miss as we stayed in a room towards the back. Stay at the back of the hotel if you want quiet as it gets rowdy on the weekend.
Lovely spacious, clean, large room with air con.

V good location directly on the Florianska street. Rooms are clean though compact. I like it is real hot water in the shower. Breakfast is very basic. However u will find lots of cafes or fast food chains just outside. Good staff and check in or out is quick without the usual fuzz. Would stay here again if I come back again.

Great location

The Hotel Floryan is a big old building located in the Old Town, on Florianska (St.), with the Florian Gate within 50 yards in one direction, and the main Market Sq. (Rynek Glowny), about 500yards away in the other. The Galeria Krakowska, a huge shopping mall, giving access to the train/bus stations is 500 yards beyond the Florian Gate. With the hotel being on a busy street with a plethora of bars, shops and restaurants, it's in an ideal tourist location.
The hotel consists of 3 storeys, and a basement occupied by the Vesuvio Restaurant, which was closed , I presume, to the time of year of our visit. On the round floor is Reception, a small bar area, and breakfast/dining room, which leads to an interlinked accommodation block. The 1st and 2nd floors of the main building are bedrooms.
Our en suite rooms were on the 1st floor and were clean comfortable and surprisingly warm in the cold February nights.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot/cold breakfast was varied in choice and set us up for the day.
Room tip: the rooms facing Florianska (St.) are quite noisy at night with revellers and early morning garbage collections!

Hotel was comfortable and close to everything but as our room was at the front of the building there was noise 24/7. The McDonalds opposite was open until 5am and the Kebab shop 24/7. Nice visit to Krakow but little sleep for 4 nights. Would visit city again but stay outwith the Old Town

A fantastic GEM of a hotel!

This hotel is a jewel!!! The location is superb, the staff is friendly and very accommodating, the complimentary breakfast was fantastic (and included lots of fresh fruit!) and our bedroom and bath were very comfortable and modern. Everything was spotless and towels/linens better than expected. One blemish - which was not the fault of the hotel - was noisy construction which began at 3:30 one morning and continued until daybreak. WHY??? Are there no regulations in Krakow? I asked at the desk - after losing the better part of one night's sleep - and was told the situation is not regulated by the town, unfortunately.

Having never been to Krakow it was a take a chance on hotels, but this hotel could have been picked for us. It is just inside the old city wall, only 4/5 mins. walk to the main square, everything was on hand. Walking tours, trams, cafe and restaurants all historic sites only a short walk. So this hotel had all boxes ticked would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in this pleasant city.

Hotel is central so easy to get to from main square. There are no elevators, so big suitcases should avoid top floors!

Breakfast is reasonable- bread, cheese, ham, cereal, coffee and some cake too.

Room is ok- a little small and ours were on the top floor with 1 skylight and 2 very small windows, so couldn't see out to street.

It's comfortable but can be a bit noisy outside as there are bars outside.

Upon Arrival, my daughter left her cell phone in taxi. Hotel Clerk Klaudia was so very helpful, got a hold of taxi company, located driver and arranged for the cell phone to be returned to the hotel while we were unpacking. Staff were so very helpful in every way. bathroom was very nice, large, clean with shower and tub. Most of all we would like to express our gratitude to Klaudia, she was always very pleasant, had a big smile and was willing to go the extra mile for any of our requests. She made a big impact on our visit to Krakow.

Nice little hotel, centrally located

Overall, a great experience. Going out the hotel to your left, hotel is only blocks away from the Krakow Galleria Shopping Mall and railway station going one way (through a park) and if you leave the hotel door going right, it is only one block the other way to Old Town! (outdoor restaurants, shops, music bars)
Our room had plenty of space with three twin beds (can be converted to a double bed), a coffee table, couch, and chair. Rooms were clean, only shower available. Heating and air can be remote controlled. Florianska Street is a street that leads directly to Old Town and Market Square from the railway station and if you have a room facing the street, it can get a little noisy, particularly at night with pedestrian traffic. Received a free continental style breakfast daily and a safe was available in the room. There are also two restaurants located in the building, including pizza. The only drawback is there is no elevator in the building and you may need staff help with heavy luggage, particularly on an upper floor.

Expedia standard room was on 3rd floor with no lift. My friend had difficulty getting up stairs so this should have been made clear in brochure.
Room was clean, satisfactory and had AC but small windows.
I hear the pizzas are good in restaurant. Breakfast substantial and varied.
For some reason the hotel has a long maintenance list.

On arrival on our first night of a five day break we were disappointed in the 3rd floor boxroom we were allocated,however the young man on the reception informed us that we could be relocated the next day which we were very happy with on the 2nd floor to the rear of the hotel which was very quite. the room was clean and the beds comfortable.
The breakfast was very typical of this type of city break hotel ,though the scrambled eggs could have been better as they were very dried out.
The location was very central,less than 5 minutes to the central square. Some establishments to avoid in the side streets but no worse than any major European city .
Always check for day trip and local attraction prices before committing to any one operator.

The location is good , friendly staff , breakfast is OK with an easy access to many sites. Looks like the hotel is a converted apt. building that was built a long time ago. Hence the rooms are big however do need refurbishing. The restaurant at the hotel is OK.

You could eat off the floors in this place it was so clean! The staff were friendly and you really couldn't ask for a better location.
Our room was comfortable enough but, unfortunately, still smelled of its recent paint job. Breakfast was fairly basic and we came down to find no available seats one morning so be sure to arrive early as there aren't loads of tables. The tour of Auschwitz organised through the hotel was very good - mini bus, English guide and admission at a good price.
This place was definately not luxurious but they have the basics covered. You could do much worse.

Highly recommended hotel in an excellent location

My daughter and i stayed at Hotel Floryan for 3 days. The hotel is in an excellent quiet location in the old town, a cobbled street closed to traffic yet steeped in history, within a 5 minute walk to the main square.

The hotel staff were lovely, so helpful and friendly yet not intrusive. As for the room, it was spacious (and the bathroom!!), both were spotless and certainly provided comfort.

The hotel has a restaurant where breakfast is taken. It also offers a lunch and evening menu which we found convenient after a long day. The service and the food could not be faulted.

Booked taxi from airport by arranging it with the hotel, as cheaper than through Experian - you pay the driver direct. We booked the return journey when we arrived at the hotel. The staff speak good English, and are anxious to please, including any dietary requirements. The hotel entrance would be easy to miss at street level, but once inside, it opens up, and goes back a long way. Hotel has 3 floors, but no lift - just think of it as the start of a 'get fit' regime. There are 71 steps to the third floor, and the quiet rooms are at the back of the hotel. Beware of the sloping ceiling at one end of the room on the third floor! Hot water 24/7, and good water pressure from the shower. Good value for money with breakfast & free WiFi included. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice home away from home.

We walked into the hotel and were greeted by the manager and staff! They were expecting us.
The rooms were very clean. Fresh linens every day. The daily breakfast was outstanding.
It's true there is no elevator but I think only Americans would complain about walking up
the stairs. I'm a senior citizen and I had no problem with it.
We used the air conditioning two days. It was outstanding!
The water pressure was excellent with plenty of hot water.
We would definitely stay here again.

Large room at front of hotel, with double bed, 2 armchairs and sofa. Lots of wardrobe space. Large bathroom (with shower). Near to both the main square and the railway station for access to the airport. Helpful reception and restaurant staff; all spoke very good English. Breakfast included and perfectly adequate. Ate two other meals in the restaurant and found the food very good. Downside was noise from drunken groups in the street outside until 5.30am on Saturday night. Quieter during the week. No lift so beware if you have mobility issues. Bed was very firm and also a bit low.

The hotel is in a good position being in the centre of the old town. It is only ten minutes from the bus and train stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but clean. There is no lift so rooms on the top floor are quite a climb. The breakfast was good.

Main purpose of trip was to visit Auschwitz and Birkenau before relaxing in what emerged as a lovely city full of character.
In general, the prices of food and drink in the city were very reasonable and the quality of the food was good. The glass of wine measuring 10cl. was puzzling given that U.K. measures are 175ml. and 250 ml. However, that is a minor issue and did not detract in any way from the total enjoyment of the three-night break.

Perfect location and pleasant stay

The hotel is a 5-10 min walk from the main train/bus station and is nicely situated at the north end of Krakow's old town. We arrived at Hotel Floryan at 0730 after taking an overnight train to Krakow and were checked into our room immediately. Needless to say, the hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. After reading the reviews, we requested and were booked a room that does not face the street (the front of the hotel is on a very busy pedestrian street) and outside noise was not a problem. The room itself was mostly comfortable and about what we would expect for the price we paid. Wifi is free and works fine. Only complaint is the free breakfast is not great. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, we were in a room not fronting the street so our room was very quiet, i am not sure if a front street facing room would be the same. The room was a little small but for the price and the location it was very acceptable. The bathroom was very good, shower great, plenty of hot water morning and night. The beds were not the best, a little low and hard but again, adequate. Its never going to be like sleeping in your own bed!
All the staff were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was made up each day and all essentials replenished.
The breakfast was the usual standard for the the budget of the hotel and the country, very acceptable.

I would definitely stay again. Location could not be more perfect, 5 min walk to train station, 2 min walk to main square and on the best street in krakow. Staff are also very obliging and genuine and the hotel is very safe. There are 3 floors, try get a room on either the 1st or 2nd floor as there is no lift plus the 3rd floor has a low ceiling. Stayed on 3rd floor 1st night and then asked to be moved which was no problem at all. Breakfast is average enough but for the money & location I would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect. The standards rooms are quite small, the pillows were not comfortable, and there is no elevator. The deluxe rooms are much nicer. The A/C was refreshing. The noise from the streets was a big problem. We were there during the Euro Cup, and the soccer fans chanting kept us up at night. Breakfast was fine, and the staff was very friendly.

Great location and friendly staff made for a very pleasant stay

Arrived by train so required a hotel that was near and easy to find - it was. It is also inside the old town so restaurants and shops were plentiful. Whilst it could be noisy at weekends in the rooms on the street, the reception staff put us in the rear of the hotel in a lovely quiet room. All the staff were friendly and helpful so we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for the staff and location alone but the room was spacious with a lovely bathroom and plenty of storage and breakfast was more than adequate.

The Hotel Florian was a lovely little hotel centrally located in the Old City just past the Florian Gate in Krakow. The staff was warm and friendly and worked hard to accommodate their guests. The bedroom was big and spacious (felt more little an apartment with very high ceilings). The bathroom was large and very clean. Breakfast (included in the price) was huge and delicious. The only issue with the hotel was the noise factor at night. Things got loud between 2-3am when the bars closed. A good pair of earplugs solved that problem.

Het hotel ligt in de winkelstraat van Old Town. Wij verbleven hier een week. De centrale ligging is erg fijn, alles is op loopafstand. Wij hadden een kamer aan de achterzijde, maar als je aan de voorkant slaapt kan het misschien wat lawaaierig zijn. Kamer is niet groot, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kunt ook excursies via hen boeken. Het hotel heeft geen lift. Het ontbijt was prima. De netheid mag wel wat beter. Schoonmaken bestond uit de bedden rechttrekken en handdoeken vervangen. Een keer een doekje over de wastafel en het toilet had ook wel gemogen. Had het idee dat dat gedurende ons verblijf niet is gedaan. Ook zeep werd niet aangevuld. Kamer was achter het meubilair ook behoorlijk stoffig. De ligging en het gemak wat je daarvan hebt, maakt het al met al een prima uitvalsbasis.

Hieno vanha hotelli keskellä aluetta, jossa paljon nähtävää.
Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta.
Kadun puoleiset huoneet ei sovi henkilöille, jotka haluavat nukkua öisin. Katu on erittäin vilkas ja täynnä anniskelupaikkoja. Tästä johtuen huoneisiin kantautuva meteli on melkoinen ja loppuu vasta n. 3-4:n aikaan aamuyöstä.

Los colchones son muy antiguos, se notan los muelles , solo ponen sábanas bajera y edredón , con lo cual te obligan a tapar con el mismo o no tener sábana, las almohadas son cojines grandes siendo muy incómodo para dormir

Hotell midt i smørøyet, inngang fra ei av hovedgågatene. En av de beste gatene å bo i midt i Gamlebyen. Helt ok rom. Hyggelig betjening og ok frokost. Litt slitte rom men rom med karakter. Sengen på vårt rom var kanskje moden for utskifting. Anbefaler å gå hele Planty (parken) rundt gamlebyen.

Central beliggenhed i gå-afstand. Meget hjælpsomme til at arrangere ture og transport fra lufthavnen. Der er aircon på værelserne, men vores voksne børn havde værelse øverst og der var alligevel lidt varmt under taget. Havde superior værelser, hvor der var god plads og værelser til gården, hvor der var stille.

Standaard kamer is erg slecht! Je hebt een \"raampje van 25 x 25 cm !!!!
en dat op de 3 etage Als er brand uitbreekt kan je geen kant op alleen de trap GEEN nooduitgang niets.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommenes Personal, Frühstück war appetitlich angerichtet und hat auch geschmeckt. Die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen (hat aber je nach Ausrichtung des Zimmers lärmtechnische Nachteile). Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Bad großzügig, wie auch das Zimmer selbst. Man kann auch vor dem CheckIn (ab 14:00 Uhr, teils früher, wenn das Zimmer schon fertig ist) oder nach dem CheckOut (12:00) seine Taschen auch bei der REzeption hinterlegen (24 Stunden Rezeption!)

中央広場のすぐ近くにある小さなホテル。１階にはピザやスパゲティーが食べられるレストランと小さなカウンターバーを併設。４階建てですがエレベーターは無し。旧市街の空気を体感できます。女性ばかりのスタッフで雰囲気も良いです。但し、目の前の道路は車は通りませんが沢山の若者が大騒ぎしながら夜中まで歩き回るので、安眠できませんでした。静かであればもう一度とまりたいですが。残念。
