Great location in old town Krakow. The staff was amazing, and the property was new, nice, and clean. The fitness room didn't have much, just an elliptical, pull up bar, and two light dumb bells. There wasn't much for toiletries - ie: no conditioner, lotion. Overall, we enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

We had a truly lovely stay at Amber Design Residence. From the moment we arrived, the girls at reception were incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful — nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel so welcome.

The hotel itself was beautifully clean, immaculately maintained, and wonderfully warm — which was especially appreciated during our visit. Every detail felt thoughtful and well cared for.

The location was absolutely perfect for our stay — just a short walk to the Main Square and ideal for exploring Kraków with ease.

We would highly recommend Amber Design Residence and would happily stay again. Thank you for making our visit special.

Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Room was decent sized and had a safe, iron board and even a mini fridge. Bathroom was spacious - loved the rainfall shower head and big mirror with the lights. Only issue with the room is that we could hear lots of noises upstairs - people walking around, talking etc especially during the night so it was difficult to get a decent sleep sometimes which is why I’ve knocked a star off.

Location of the hotel is excellent. It’s around 5/10 minutes walk to the main square and all the other restaurants and pick up points for bus tour guides and it’s on a quiet street so you don’t actually hear any noise from outside…only from above in your room.

Price of the stay was good and affordable considering the location and high ratings (we stayed for 4 nights).

Overall I rate the room 4/5 and would definitely book this hotel again.

Great choice for a Krakow stay. Location is excellent just a couple of minutes walk from the main square. Our room was spotless and comfortable and great value for money. The staff were very helpful and courteous. They organised our airport transfers in both directions and both were absolutely as described. I've recommended this hotel to friends and if we book another stay in Krakow I'm sure we'll book here again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Amber Design Residence Hotel Old Town and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
We arrived at around 1pm and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early, which was a great start to the trip. The room itself was bright, airy and very comfortable, and importantly, wonderfully warm – especially appreciated on the days when the temperature outside dropped to a chilly -14°C.
The location is excellent. It’s just a five-minute walk in one direction to the Old Town, and five minutes the other way to the shopping mall and the main bus and train station, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and travel.
The reception staff really stood out. They were extremely helpful with recommendations and directions, and nothing was ever too much trouble when we asked for additional supplies – everything was handled promptly and with a smile.
Overall, a great experience from start to finish. A lovely hotel in a brilliant location with outstanding service. Highly recommended.

A beautiful and comfortable property with really stylish and well appointed rooms. The hotel is well located in the Old Town, close to the park and all of the main sights. It’s also conveniently located for dining and drinking options.

It would have been better had breakfast been onsite but the breakfast cafe was only a few minutes walk and the food was good.

Really nice hotel with beautiful modern rooms. My only complaint was that I booked a Double room (petit boutique) and was “upgraded” to a Superior Double. The only issue with this room is they squish two fulls together and do a terrible job merging the mattresses, so I spent the few days falling into the crack between the mattresses. In addition the comforter barely covered my body. Also, the tub shower had the tub controls on the side wall, and the shower head in the corners so it was impossible to comfortably take a shower without hitting your legs on the tub filler. Really annoying and uncomfortable. Otherwise, really beautiful hotel and super conveniently located. I’d rather have had a walk in shower (no tub) and a continuous mattress, but oh well.

Amber Design Residence is a beautiful place to stay, perfectly located in Krakow’s Old Town—just a short walk from the main square, yet peaceful and quiet.
The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms modern and stylish, and the staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

We especially enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard, which was such a nice bonus. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!
