My room was next to the stairs but despite this was quiet. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location just a couple of minutes from the city centre and less than 10 minutes to the train station. I would stay here again.

We visited Krakow in December 2025 specifically for the Christmas Market and stayed at Hotel Polski Pod Bialym Orlem. What a joy! The location in Old Town Krakow can't be beat - it's literally walking distance to most attractions within Old Town. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the historical ambiance of the hotel was weaved throughout the property. The room was large, well-appointed, well cleaned daily and included free daily water, coffee and tea. Based on the USD we paid, the room represented a great value for money. Our room was on the 3rd floor with skylights only so the only street noise we heard was the occasional emergency services siren. The $12 USD breakfast is amazing with daily changing variety so it doesn't get repetitive. I certainly recommend this hotel and would take any chance to visit again

This was our first stay at Hotel Polski Pod. We arrived late at night but received a friendly professional welcome. A pleasant well kept building combining traditional features with sympathetic modern updates. Conveniently located a short walk up a quiet side street just far enough away from bustling nightlife of Krakow.
Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and plenty warm enough despite the cold weather. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The breafast offers plenty of continental choice and some hot items ie bacon, eggs, sausages but not 'Full English'. However we would happily return here.

Overall was a pleasant stay. Great location and traditional style hotel. The beds were not comfortable and the breakfast was far from 5 star. Our room was very grand and had nice furnishings, but unfortunately we wouldn’t return mostly because of the uncomfortable beds.

I am a 73 year old woman who travels alone. I have stayed here twice when taking a few days off from my volunteer work in Poland. I like the warm, comforting feeling staying in an older hotel. The rooms are quiet, uniquely decorated & the breakfast is fantastic. The staff is very friendly & I have enjoyed conversing with them. It is very close to the main square and I walk to anywhere I want to go. It is also about a 10 minute walk from the train station. I recommend eating dinner at Tivoli Restaurant.

A+++ The hotel had a wonderful vintage atmosphere with well chosen artwork and artifacts. The breakfasts were so good with a large variety of food, definitely something for everyone, I looked forward to it each morning. The location was so convenient, just out the door was the Museum, Shopping, Restaurants and Planty Park. Perfect location! I hope to stay there again. Thank you!

Negative points: The hotel does not have a concierge to help with the baggage to the room. We travelled with a 6 month old with a lot of luggage so it was inconvenient. During check in, the manager was very kind and helped us with the bags. During checkout, the different manager on duty said we have to manage the bags by ourselves, which was unpleasant.
