The room was spotless, the shower pressure was very good with plenty of hot water. The bathroom had all that you needed for shaving kits, combs, to lotion, shampoo and shower gel.

We were staying in an delux room and were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco. Very nice touch!

If you needed reservations to anything, the concierge will make them for you. Even for restaurant are booked ❤️.

The location can’t be beat.

Overall happy with the stay but not perfect! The young lady at reception and the Englishman doorman was a delight. We booked the large room and it certainly was that. Very large bedroom and an extra sitting room. The beds and pillows are above average. The whole hotel, room and bathroom was kept extremely clean. The flavours from the food from the restaurant in house was amazing. The fish and chips, dumplings and French toast was outstanding. The location of the hotel is superb facing the main square and walking distance to everything else. We stayed there for 5 nights. The disappointing aspect was the breakfast. On the first morning we received a buffet of cold meats and croissants, fruit, cereal and yoghurt and an opportunity to order off the menu for a hot meal. Unfortunately for the following 3 breakfasts the buffet option was removed even though the breakfast cost was the same (apparently there wasn’t enough rooms booked). The coffee we ordered each morning came to us barely warm even when ordering it extra hot. The waitress staff are not very attentive even when only two couple eating at a time. The other issue is that when you book through hotels.com it shows that you receive a bottle of spirits as a gold member. We enquired about our free bottle and was told they would need to speak to the manager but didn’t hear back from them. We had three bookings in total. So overall I would say above average but not excellent.

Great location, friendly staff. Enjoyable stay, center of the Market Square but very quiet. A boutique hotel located in a 1514 circa building. A lot of great atmosphere. This is not a 5-star Dubai hotel, with comforts or accommodations, but I would recommend it.

They followed up with us throughout our stay and we will definitely be returning hopefully to that same presidential suite with the balcony. Liked the hotel a lot but the room was quirky
We had the top floor apt as it had a desired king bed. Unfortunately that meant only 1 tiny window and much of the 1000 ft2 was below 6 ft head height
The kitchen is beautiful but other than the fridge it is in operable.
But the location is perfect and the staff super helpful.
Id go for 2nd floor rooms next time

Over 30 years in 15 countries, I have never stayed at a luxury hotel for the same price as a tiny room anywhere. The 700- yr. old building is directly on Cloth Hall Square. The room had a king-size bed, 2 nightstands, 2 wing chairs, dresser with 6 drawers and mini fridge, chifforobe, full length mirror, desk, chair and many outlets. The bathroom had a large shower with great water pressure and hot water. Extra-large towels, terry robes and slippers. The room was decorated with elegant draperies, matching bedding and wallpaper. Wonderful air conditioning. Free bottled Perrier in room daily. The hotel has 16 rooms, so they cater to their guests with sincerity and graciousness. The front desk staff were always nice and helpful, our thanks especially to Brygetta, Miro and Natalie. We were upgraded to the morning breakfast. The hotel has its own restaurant, the Amalia, we had several wonderful dinners there. Breakfast was served in a large room, or outside under the umbrella tables directly on the Square. The buffet was generous with juices, breads, pretzels, croissants, butter, jams, whole fruits, yogurt with granola and berries, Crème Brule with berries, meat, cheeses, cereals, pastries Or, you could order a hot breakfast from their menu. That meal was large enough for 2 people and it was delicious. The wait staff were always friendly. We received our bottle of Prosecco as an Expedia member. It was a true time capsule of Krakow. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Very nice place to stay right on the market square. Had a suite and it was truly amazing, and very clean just like the rest of the establishment. Example one morning after breakfast, one of the staff was cleaning the elevator to include the mirror. Staff was very nice and courteous. Breakfast was so delicious and freshly made. Ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was amazing and again staff was great. I would stay here again if I plan to go to Krakow again.

The hotel is perfectly located. It is close to everything. The staff is great and very helpful, specially Brygida and Victor. Brygida was able to find us a last minute tour. The rooms need some improvement such as better mattresses and pillows and perhaps a smaller garbage container in the bathroom.
The restaurant had great breakfast and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel, specially if you are planning to walk around Krakow which you should do.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Boneroski Palace for a long weekend/city break. Its a charming little place with a quaint regal feel about it. Small enough to be personable and not like a chain hotel. The rooms are wonderfully large, beautifully decorated and so very quiet.

The hotel staff are warm, friendly and helpful. From arranging tours to recommending local restaurants.

The location is the best, you literally walk outside onto the square and so perfectly situated for walking around the main tourist attractions.

Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and well maintained. The wellness center was cozy and perfect to come back to after a long day walking around Krakow. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Not up to standard for a 5-star hotel:

- Garbage bag left in our room after cleaning.

- AC in room not working (we were boiling hot in the middle of Polish winter. How?)

- Laundry took nearly 3 days to be returned.

- Fan in bathroom not working. Everything wet after showering.

- Most annoyingly, our room had an office next to it. While this itself isn’t necessarily an issue, staff (seemingly management) would make lots of noise from an early hour. We were not able to sleep-in or comfortably relax in our room due to loud chatting and laughter coming from the office throughout most of the day.

Location was amazing, but the above issued left us with a negative experience.

Located right in the middle of all ath action with shopping, food, drink and beautiful architecture. The Christmas Market is right outside the hotel. There is a nice mall 10 minute walk away close to the main train station . The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Kamil and Bartek were great. BreKfast was good also. Bonerowski is definitely the place to stay.

I was having a skim through Expedia at some new places to visit. I don’t know why, but Krakow popped up so I had a browse at some of the hotels available and saw this one.

Well, when I saw the rooms. I knew that not only was I going to Krakow, but the hotel I was staying at was non negotiable too! The rooms looked so impressive online and decided I would treat myself to their most superior suite as it was very reasonably priced.

I have so much to say about this place. It’s called a palace and as far as I’m concerned, it is! It’s the type of place I could see royalty actually living. The amount of space we had was unbelievable. Our room had a balcony and overlooked the square. It was a remarkable room!

Everything about our stay was brilliant. Staff were so attentive. They answered the phone within one ring and sprung into action whether it be delivering room service or collecting our plates etc. They were great.

When we arrived we were taken to our room and given a very warm welcome. That only happens when you stay somewhere really nice! We were given complimentary water, coffee etc. The amenities in the room were great too.

Our room even had a piano! I’m a bit rusty, but I treated the square to the first verse of ‘silent night’. Ok it’s July… but it’s the only song I can play on the piano!

The bathroom was brilliant, water pressure excellent. Bath was super deep!

The furnishings were such good quality. Real solid oak products.

Everything was spotless.

I liked the location very much. I liked the look of the interior and our Red Room 306. I did not like the window overlooking windows close by but that is just part of being in the old town. I did not like that there is only one key for the room which activated the electricity and also was needed to use the elevator. The breakfast menu was good and the food provided was tasty and plentiful.

5 stars simply arent enough for this hotel, its right outside the main square, lovely staff, I stayed in one of their Exec Apartments that had a view of the square, just amazing from start to finish - the inside of the rooms feels like a palace, whilst its in the main area its surprisingly quiet inside the room.

Priceless stay in beautiful place.

Nothing to complain about the hotel, staff and service.

However the privileged location of the hotel makes difficult to access with own car. Specially this with the local police whom seem not to like foreign registered vehicles in the zone. Since I was requested to leave immediately the zone, not once but in two occasion in two days without consideration that I had to unload or load lots of luggage. I credit the staff with their surprise and embarrassment and annoyance due to the behavior of the local police. Hope the hotel can find a solution for future guests.

Again, I have to stress the hotel location, staff politeness and exquisite Cousine are an absolute 10 for the hotel.

Location best part of Bonerowski Palace

First off it needs to be understood the hotel is located in a building that is hundreds of years old. That being said the standard of five star by which hotels are measured in the United States is definitely not the same in Poland. Whereas this hotel has a fantastic location near the main square, it does leave several areas that need to be improved. The mattress of the bed is thin and hard. One would expect a better quality mattress in a hotel of that caliber. Secondly it is impossible to make a local phone call from your room. You actually have to go down to the reception so that they can make the call for you. There is no clock radio on the nightstand which would be a welcome addition to the room for someone needing to tell time in the middle of the night. Otherwise, the hotel was decent for sleeping but not necessarily for spending extended time in During the day.

Staff were very nice especially Beata who worked at the reception desk. Charming personality and very helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonerowski Place. It has a perfect location across from the entrance to the Main Market, situated directly on the Market Square. You could not find a better location to experience the sites and charm of Krakow. Our room was huge and gorgeous, as is all of this extraordinary property. Excellent breakfast each day and they even packed a to box for each of us as we left very early for the airport on checkout. The staff was so helpful in every way with directions and suggestions and restaurant bookings (although they have a Michelin rated restaurant in house) and all spoke great English. Krakow is an enchanted City and this is the place to stay if you want to feel like royalty.

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was lovely, however the bed was extremely hard, I asked for more pillows which came immediately. The room although being at the top doesn’t have conventional windows, so therefore there were no curtains and only drapes, which in the morning let the light come flooding in also no way of altering them, so the flats opposite could see us sat in bed when our light was on - a little uncomfortable! Yes and coffee making facilities were included but we had to call down to reception each time we needed tea, milk and sugar. The suite was clean and we had plenty of room. Reception staff were all lovely and friendly, but if I were to stay again I think I’d opt for a different room.

Beautiful hotel with a great location next to the square. The room was very clean and large and was nicely decorated. The only downside to this hotel is that parking is quite a distance from the hotel and I had to get all of my bags back to the car by myself after which was a bit difficult. The parking is also an extra 90zl per night. Overall good hotel and I would stay again.

The front desk was very helpful in making great recommendations and generally helping us (marking maps, lending us big umbrellas, etc). Our room was amazing !!!! I felt like Queen Victoria, with our 2-room suite overlooking the main square (we had a balcony too) (!). The restaurant was perfect for breakfast in the morning, serving wonderful croissants/great wait staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Beautiful hotel, wonderful location, amazing staff

I stay in hotels all the time, and I have to say the Bonerowski Palace is the best I have experienced. Only 18 rooms, each decorated individually. I know, because I had to change rooms from one night to the next and the staff were so thoughtful about it all, they moved me to a room close by so I wouldn’t have to move much. They were helpful and friendly - every single staff member. And it is right on the main square - a more central position you could not find. Beautiful rooms, comfortable. I could not recommend it more highly .

Wonderful Boutique Hotel

On a recent stay in Krakow, my wife and I stayed at the Bonerowski Palace Hotel. Located right on the Main Square, or Rynek Główny, the hotel is a former grand residence converted into a boutique hotel with 16 guest rooms. We had a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived until we headed for home.

Even before we got on an airplane, the staff at the hotel arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport and bring us to the hotel. The driver’s English was excellent and he enlightened us about some places to visit while in Krakow. The positive experience continued when we arrived. The staff was friendly and courteous, and did all in their power to help us when needed (such as making restaurant reservations).

The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed. The A/C worked perfectly, which was a blessing given the weather. Our room didn’t face the square directly, but rather onto a side street, and the windows sealed up tight, so the reveling World Cup fans didn’t keep us awake at night.

Krakow has many fine hotels, I’m sure, but the total package of quality and service at the Bonerowski Palace will make me a repeat customer.

Great boutique hotel.

Great service, great staff. An all around wonderful stay. The front desk staff was awesome. They helped us with confirming transport and tours. The restaurant was great. There was so much history to the building. Plus it was located right on the main square. We would definitely stay there again!

Great location. Some updating needed.

Bonerowski Palace is right on the square and so it is a great way to immerse yourself in Polish life. In minutes, you can be sitting in the sun and having a meal among the city dwellers. The suite we had was large and had plenty of storage. The bed was very firm and difficult to get comfortable. They really need to update to a modern mattress and box spring. Staff were friendly, but did not seem able to make recommendations on local attractions. Fortunately, there is a city tour office right across the street. Breakfast included is an option at this hotel. I found the selection and food quality very good, but there are many great places to eat close by, so I would not suggest the rate that includes breakfast so you can sample more of the options in town.
