First the warnings: these apartments do NOT have elevators and so you need to climb the stairs to your rooms. Because ceilings are high, each staircase per floor is 26 steps. If you are in poor health and cannot climb with or without your luggage, then do NOT book this place. There is no assistance offered to take your luggage to your room, you have to do it yourself. Secondly, the rooms are not well insulated as these are old buildings so expect to feel cold. Apartments include a washing machine that does NOT have a dryer so you have to air dry your clothes which is very inconvenient if it is winter time as it may take 2 days for thicker clothes to dry. The washroom is not attached to the bedroom. It is across the living room. If you are older and need to pee at night, that is an inconvenience. That said, the apartments have an old world charm, are elegant in their design, bright. While the sofa was very soft, the bed was firm and that helped the back. Service is quick and responsive. Location is within walking distance of all key attractions. The included breakfast is very good and is served to your room between 8am to 1pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and got some good cardio with all the stair climbing!

Excellent location just a few steps from the main town square and set in a pretty square of its own with bars and cafes all around.

The flat is gloomy and looks into a delapidated courtyard- from the photos of the square I assumed that is what I would see but looking again at the descriptions, I see it doesn’t claim this.

Spacious apartment although it doesn’t feel cosy. Just one sofa for up to four people, TV mounted high on the wall and a large bathroom with a small shower cubicle in the corner.

It was quite noisy from clanging of doors and people on the stairs. I could hear chairs scraping from the flat above. This was poor soundproofing rather than disruptive guests.

The kitchen has enough to prepare simple meals with store cupboard items supplied eg salt and pepper, tea and coffee. There are several grocery stores on the square and on my last evening I discovered a far better option on the main square called Biedronka. It would have been nice for there to be info in the flat with recommendations.

Several of the lights weren’t working, not enough for me to bother reception but is the sort of thing that housekeeping should check. I was underwhelmed with the various notices telling me what I could be fined for.

We stayed in a large 2 bedroom. It had everything we need including a kitchen with all utensils, stove, refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.. great location with a small grocery two doors down.
I would stay there again.

The apartment was very large and very well equipped. It is centrally located with an abundance of shops and restaurants on its doorstep. Our apartment was on the 4th floor of \"B\" block which doesn't have a lift so it wouldn't be suitable for guests with mobility issues. We would definitely choose to stay here again, albeit on a lower floor.

I felt like I got catfished from the pictures on-line and the reviews. The room was old, and dirty. The appliances were worn and at times didn’t work (ran out of hot water multiple times) You would think if you had a room for 10 people there would be enough hot water for everyone. We got the largest room for a family that had older people and little kids, and it was not comfortable for anyone.
It was cold, out of season. We mentioned this to the staff and they came to fix the heater - only to find out that the city didn’t have the heat on. Only after we complained later again - We were offered mobile heaters, but we never received anything.
It was a terrible experience. I would never recommend or go back to this place again.

The location was great! The rooms great but…..when we made the reservations I specifically told them we were in our 60’s and 70’s and had issues with stairs. The stairs were horrible and there was not a life in the one building so this was a real issue for us and hauling luggage. This is a place for much younger tourists!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying with Antique Apts. I wouldn’t rate it as quiet, as there seemed to be a lot of coming and going late at night, but not the company’s fault. Just know that it’s a semi-noisy little area of Krakow. Super easy to get to the Square & pleeeeeenty of great places to eat and shop. Would definitely stay again.

NO LIFT

The apartments are great, location fantastic, attached restaurant for breakfast great value, however we were on the 5th Floor of Block C - NO LIFT, the listing says there is a lift but it doesn't specify what block that is in - there are 3 blocks to my knowledge - I have an injury at the moment but didn't think I needed to request an accessible room as a lift is stated on the facilities!
Carrying 20KG up 5 flights of steps, well my husband did (2 flights each floor) was sole destroying, thinking of popping back to the room during the day - no thanks I couldn't face the flights of stairs, did request another room upon check in nothing was available - you really need to up date your listing as guests need the full information - only saving grace was that the apartment had Air Con many did not and if climbing the stairs in 31 degrees wasn't bad enough I think having no air con would have literally finished me off! Also during 4 night stay no towel change or room cleaning!

No Elevator in Block B and Block C which makes it a challenge to access the rooms on the top floors (like 4th and 5th floor) as the only way is through stairs which are pretty steep..... highly inconvenient. Rest in terms of cleanliness, location and staff is good.

Terrible communication and very disappointing outcome

I have given a poor review despite never having stayed at the property because unfortunately my flight was cancelled by airline and I booked this stay last year before the Covid-19 pandemic and therefore booked with genuine belief I would be travelling to Poland. I emailed property to ask to rearrange stay however the property did not answer this email. Eventually I was contacted and told there would be no refund or opportunity to rearrange stay. Considering the recent world pandemic I would have thought they would have been more accommodating. When I do eventually travel to Poland I will not be booking a stay at this property.

Our apartment was not only functional, it was beautiful and clean as well. The location is within walking distance to everything and the view from the apartment was amazing. The room itself had everything that was needed and was clean. Unfortunately we were on the 4th floor, without a lift so every time we went to the room we had 96 steps to climb. Which after a day of sightseeing isn’t the best thing. I did ask if there was a room on a lower floor as the 4th has a few too many stairs but was told, at least it’s not the 5th!!
There is a little kitchen in the room, so if the thought of going out for dinner is too much you can cook up a treat! The bedding had seen better days with a few holes in it but was clean and changed every 3rd day. The walls however are thin so beware noisy neighbours! The staff were friendly. For a budget hotel it wasn’t too bad! The best thing about it was the location.

The location of the apartment was key to my stay. The staff spoke English and were very solicitous. The only thing I found ironic was I had requested an apartment close to ground level, so they made sure the lift was close to room. However, the apartment had steps to the sleeping area. Again, the apartment was very nice, clean, well appointed. I just found this situation ironic.

We stayed at the apartments on the square this time. Previously we stayed at the ones around the corner, a short walk from the square. Although this time the apartments were bigger, the noise from the bars below was an issue. We were on the first floor and deliveries woke us at 7.30am, a man fixing a broken door kept me awake at 12.30pm!!! Other than that they're fantastic apartments and other members of our group higher up in the building had no issues.
The apartments are clean and well equipped. Staff are helpful.

Good location, character, 24hr reception.
However, room 15C, more of a cupboard really, with nowhere to hang clothes, only 2, 12”square X2” deep draws in the bedside unit, two lights literally hanging off the wall. The room below was a building site with SDS drills going from 8 o’clock, supposedly a noise curfew 10pm-6am but plenty of noise ‘till midnight and from exactly 6:00am, when the beer deliveries arrive. When checking out I was going to say what we’d experienced, but nobody even asked if we’d enjoyed our stay, she just thanked us for the keys and said goodbye.

We stayed in a four bed apartment, fantastic apartment. It was very clean and very big. Just around the corner from the main square, real easy access to local area's. We were a large group of 8 staying, and it totally catered for the size. Plenty of room for us all, but would cater for 10 comfortably. Even before we got to the hotel, the communication was excellent regards the booking, very helpful for booking excursions and transfers to/from the hotel./ We would so go back to this hotel and would highly recommend it.
