We love the Aparthotel Stare Miasto in Kraków. This time, we brought another couple with us, and they were delighted as well. Our friend, upon seeing her room, exclaimed, \"I feel like I'm in a castle - a medieval castle.\" The brick walls and stone floors, mixed with modern facilities, are stunning and inviting. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom clean. The breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. We hope to visit again soon.

The reception staff made you feel like you were troubling them and didn’t even acknowledge you when they walked past reception whilst waiting.
The junior suite with jacuzzi, the room was an amazing size however the shower flooded the whole bathroom due to water not being drained. So deep you were ankle deep in water.
The dining room area had drips of water continuously coming down from the room overhead. This was mentioned to the lady on reception who lazily said yes we are aware there is a problem, it happens and yeh it is what it is.
The other slight complaint, we stayed for 3 nights however the first 2 were in a different room due to originally staying for 2 nights. When we checked out at 11am we reminded them we were staying another night in a different room and was there a chance we could get our room earlier. They didn’t seem at all helpful and after going out and returning early the room was only ready 15 mins before. Other rooms must of been ready before I just thought it would be courteous of them as existing guests to of cleaned out room first. Noisy location but you are in the centre. I wouldn’t recommend this place neither would I stay again. Krakow is an annual trip and have stayed in numerous places and this sadly is the worst experience.

Very rustic and unique rooms but rough around the edges - room needed refreshing with painting required. The kitchen did not have enough utensils, pots, pans etc for the size of the room. It was was to see bodged repairs had been carried out in various areas in the room. The kitchen cupboards were dropping to bits.
Very noisy street outside which disturbed our sleep.
Staff are not very friendly. I had mentioned when booking the room that it was my partner’s birthday. Other hotels I’ve stayed in have made an effort to make the stay more special for sub occasions (bottle of wine provided in room etc) but this hotel did nothing.
Lovely building with lots of character but we were disappointed overall and expected more for the price we paid.

Attention to detail. We booked a luxury studio. There was a clear perspex roof on the bathroom area which had corks and cork wires on top of it from previous guests.
I would have expected a vanity unit or at least a mirror with a plug near it so my wife could do her make up and hair. We only had 6 coat hangers for two of us. There were no hooks or a coat stand for coats bearing in mind it's December and finally the pillows on the bed are a bit of a let down.
On a positive. The location is amazing.

Room - Junior Suite

Arrived straight from the airport in a Bolt to a doorway in a street just off the main square. Initial impressions weren't that great as the doorbell was broken but within a few minutes the receptionist appeared and that was the last negative I have! We were allowed to check in at 11am as our room was ready and we also got a 12pm checkout free of charge.

The room itself was comprised of a ground floor with a TV, open wardrobe, bed, drawers, safety deposit and a bathroom (bath, skin and toilet - no overhead shower, the shower was one that could be used in the bath...bear this in mind if you have mobility issues and perhaps book a room with a shower); there was then a mezzanine level with a small kitchen comprising of a hob, fridge, sink, drawer and cupboard and a table and chairs. This was open plan and you could see through the floor and also talk over the balcony.

The room was warm at all times, the tv tuned into netflix, the water pressure and temperature was perfect and the noise from the street wasn't noticeable too much and we were on floor 1.

Location wise this is a great option for exploring - it's in the middle of the top and bottom of the old town, within 25 min walk of the Jewish quarter and 20 minutes walk of the Shopping centre and train station.

I would 100% recommend this hotel to most travellers (consider the mezzanines with young children as there's no safety measures that I'm aware of)

Wow! This property was amazing. It was so central for the Old Town and other attractions. The staff were attentive and very helpful. My room was clean and had everything I needed. Love the spa bath but would advise not to put bubble bath in it. The kitchen area was equipped well. I would recommend this property and will certainly be returning. Thank you to all the staff. A wonderful place to stay.

The room was very cute and had a good aircon. We stayed during summer which meant that this was very important, as it was very hot through out the day.

Our room did not have a shower and only provided a small bath. The bath could not fit a full sized adult and left us feeling uncomfortable at times. The bath did have a small hose to substitute the shower.

The location of the hotel was very central to the old town. There were many restaurants and bars to try near the hotel.

Felt like a bait and switch, the pictures show all of the listings this company has not specified the room you get, so don’t expect it to match the photos. The location is convenient to the main square and sort of quiet considering the busy area. Bathtub and bathroom are small and kitchen not equipped to really cook in. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in this hotel in April and found the hotel to be very well located for the main attractions; it is just a short walk to the main square.
The room was wonderful in what is a very old and historical building.
Breakfast was high quality and freshly prepared when ordered.
I was a little concerned by the lack of any fire exit signage and had no idea where the nearest fire exit was.
The only other problem was that, although the room has air conditioning, it was disabled due to the time of year despite a heatwave. Apparently it is only turned on in summer.
Overall we had a good stay and would recommend the hotel.

Check in was easy and simple. Nicely done suites. Rustic looking. Mostly brick walls, floor is tile and wood. Toilet is seperate from the bath area, all modern fixtures. Nice little kitchen area, I stayed for 3 weeks and found it adequate. The room was made up every 3 days, you can have it done more frequently. Would have given the place 5 stars but on the last night I found silverfish in the toilet area. Very comfortable and a 3 minute walk to the Main Square. I would stay here again.

Small kitchen with fridge was perfect for storing breakfast and drinks.
Staff communication was good including in WhatsApp’s via website all response very quick and clear.
Perfect location just minutes from main square and surrounded by restaurants and shops. 2 days we had excursions and pick up point for both were only few minutes away adding to great location.

Perfect location and the most beautiful building! Very clean and comfortable, had all the amenities for basic cooking.
Not negatives by any means but worth mentioning .... wardrobe space very limited even for a light traveller.
Lovely bathroom with corner jacuzzi and shower attachment - however you will not be able to shower standing up - the shower attachment is fixed to the wall around hip height when standing in the bath and there is no curtain. Im fairly sure you can see this in the official photos though so not a huge surprise. The shower has fabulous pressure and the process is manageable!
Arranged parking is on the road outside which is pretty narrow, but there is parking nearby if you preferred which is also 100 zloty per day.
Absolutely loved this place and would definitely come back again.

Stayed for 2 nights. I researched a lot before booking and had high hopes since the hotel looked nice. Positives: good location, comfortable bed, and clean.

However, the room was overheated. I turned off the air con and radiators and opened the windows, but it was still hot when we returned. I spoke to the receptionist, who unhelpfully suggested opening the windows (despite it being -4°C outside) and offered another room that wasn’t made up—we’d have to bring our own duvets. We didn’t sleep that night.
The next day, I spoke to the manager, who was incredibly rude and condescending. He said it was my issue and refused to move us. He also entered the room while we were out, despite a \"Do Not Disturb\" sign, and left the window open—making the room freezing (it was -1°C outside). The bathroom sink also leaked, but after how I was treated, I gave up and barely slept the second night too.

I would NOT recommend staying here - there are loads more options where you can stay somewhere nice plus also will be treated with respect!

This is a hotel for young people. It’s boutique and has an excellent location but very noisy at the weekend very poor noise proofing from the room above. People coming in late at night playing music and talking loudly all having a good time but at expense of others! Shower is in a bath itself nice but shower attachment about one metre so have to sit or kneel in bath to use. No grab rails. Room wasnt cleaned one day told we had a don’t disturb sign in door but we were out for 7 hours between 9-4 so surely could have been serviced then? One day coffee milk etc wasn’t replaced another night shampoo and shower gel not replaced. So an attractive hotel ideally situated but let down by some basic issues.

Great location just off the square and supermarket round the corner.Hotel organised transport from the airport for our group which was great. Our room, superior double doesnt have a shower but a hand held attachment over a jacuzzi bath. They could do with removing the bath and putting a proper shower in, as there is room. Trying to get a shower this way was problematic and soaked the floor. My partner had to hold the showe head up whilst i showered and vice versa. Some of the other rooms our group had were great, with plenty of room.

Wonderful stay. Room was exactly as per photos, in fact, actually was even more spacious than I excepted. Quite convenient location, as it’s not along the main square, but tucked away around the corner. Would absolutely love to stay here again.
The one tip I would make is to try to book a higher floor (mine was on the first level).

Amazing stay at Aparthotel stare Miasto. The hotel was beautfully decorated, with the most perfect location around 2 minutes walk to old town square. Staff were extremely helpful with anything we needed couldn't fault them in the slightest!! Room was cleaned everyday to a high quality.

The only couple of things which could be improved was the pillow although large only got 1 with no others in the room and the pillow was uncomfortable and the mattress alittle hard/firm just my preference other guest may love this over soft.

Parking is very difficult but that is to be expected from an inner-city hotel, but with an excellent walkable location. The hotel provided alternative locations for convenient, but expensive, parking. We will definitely stay here again but without using a vehicle.
