I had an amazing stay. I am disabled so for me I need to park close and have a few steps in places as possible.

So this hotel was perfect. It’s small and perfect. Utterly spotless rooms with nice large bathrooms.

But the best part is the hotel is so close to the castle and the town center. You could it get a more perfect location for the price.

I will certainly be coming back to stay.

My teenager daughter and i enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. We arrived at midnight and the service and staff were great. The property and room were excellent in the very unique historical style. The hotel was only a few minutes walk to the old town and the wawel castle which made this hotel excellent for the location to be in the center of Krakow. The room and the bathroom were very clean. I am light sleeper but this hotel is located in the very nice quiet area so we got a very good quality sleep after the long journey. The staff also agreed to watch out for our suitcases after the check out hour so we could visit Krakow and then when we returned they helped us to arrange our taxi. We loved this place and we would come back here again if we visit Krakow again.

I wanted a little local hotel. This is basic but comfortable hotel. Don't expect huge atriums and posh toiletries but if you want a comfortable central hotel, family run, helpful and knowledgeable staff, with large rooms and lots of hot water, great for kids, quiet, near everything then this works.

Very quaint yet close to center of Krakòw. Breakfast is more than just continental. Has some hot items as well. Really good coffee.
Parking is now 80 pln not 50 .Parking in general in Krakòw has gone up drastically so it makes a good deal to park there . Also U can park there if not staying in the hotel

The whole place seemed run down with bad upkeep. The floor in my room was dirty. The doors stuck. The shower didn’t work properly. The towels seemed old and not clean. The pillow was cheap, hot and uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor. The coffee machine didn’t work properly. The shower curtain was too short. The curtains in the room were old and not hung properly. The room safe was broken.

On the few positive notes:
Location is great for Old Town and Castle. Staff were polite and helpful (allowing me to cancel early and refund my money). The Internet worked well and the water was hot. The bedsheets seemed clean and the place has character. It just needs to be fixed up up, cleaned well and managed/ maintained in much better order.

Hotel in old fashioned style. Room large, bathroom beautiful yellow style. Breakfast excellent, to our order, anything we wanted, very friendly staff! One small thing was very old mattress, not comfortable at all! Bed sheets not good quality. I wish they would change, so I could come back.

The staff were excellent. They booked tours for us and even ordered pizza for us when we could not get out because of the virus. They served us breakfast in our room and ordered taxis when we needed to go to the airport. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. 7 minutes walk to the square, safe area and no tram lines keeping you awake. Definitely 10 out of 10

Well, the greatest part was staff and their attitude towards customer, but location, facility, price and all the rest came as second to the service provided. If I ever come to Krakow again - this will be the place where I will stay at. And I don't often say that, as I demand quality for what I pay. We were heading out at 4AM due to our flight and they provided us with morning coffee, sandwiches and water before we left. Both thumbs up.

Excellent location, within walking distance of Stare Miasto, Kazimierz and Wawel Castle. The breakfast was excellent as well with fruits, salads, yogurt, cereals, breads, cheeses, sliced meats, juices, toast and eggs as well as coffee, cappucinos, americanos...whatever. Excellent service in all areas, concierge, breakfast room staff and room service staff. Also, Hotel Maltanski has character. Our room was large with a french door window looking onto a ivy laden stone wall behind a small patio with a table and two chairs. The bathroom was large also with a good supply of hot water and toiletries. We very much enjoyed our 5 nights at Hotel Maltanski.

We had a lovely 3-night stay at Hotel Maltanski. It was clean, airy and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating - even agreeing to keep our luggage stored safely past check-out while we spent our last afternoon wandering in the town. The beds were comfortable and the fan that was provided was much appreciated in the middle of June! Complimentary breakfast was a great mix of traditional Polish and British/American staples, all excellent quality.

Great location, easy to walk everywhere

This hotel is on the other side of the main road that surrounds the old town, so getting into the old town or to Wawel castle is within easy walking distance. The old town is easy to navigate and quite pedestrian friendly. Our room was on the ground floor of the hotel away from the street, so it was quiet, even with the door open. We had a tiny patio with a small table and 2 chairs surrounded by ivy walls. The patio door could be opened by turning the handle horizontally, and turning it up allowed the door to lean in, basically opening a large window. This was nice since the room did not have air conditioning, so we left it open during the night to have some fresh air. It was quite hot while we were there, so sleeping was not quite as comfortable as we might have liked, but it was OK. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with a wide variety of cold meats, cheeses, vegetable, pickles, juices, fruit and other items. Each day there was a different hot item that was offered and they bring you coffee (white or black) or tea. They have 3 small tables outside that get busy if the weather is nice, but the inside of the breakfast area is air-conditioned is it’s too hot outside. I would imagine that the hotel would be very nice if it was chilly outside since they have nice quilts on the bed and a towel warmer in the bathroom. As it was, we left the heat off for the entire stay. I would definitely come back here in cooler months, but might look elsewhere in hotter months.

Nice small hotel. We loved the location as it was quiet, easy to access from taxi. Fantastic restaurant called 'White Rose' across the courtyard. Rooms were very quiet. Breakfast was just right. Towel warmers in bathroom nice. Only complaint was that the shower head poorly worked and didn't spray with enough pressure and caused a poor shower function. I flowed and dripped straight down 3\" from the wall.
Beyond that, all was good.

Perfectly located great hotel!

Great little hotel that is walking distance to all of the main attractions in Kraków. The old town square is about a 5 minute walk at best, the Jewish quarter and Jewish ghetto are a little farther but only 10-15 minutes. Schindler’s factory is about a mile away so a bit of a walk but it only took us 25 minutes to get there on foot. The hotel is great with good breakfasts and nice rooms, walls are a little thin so just be warned a bad neighbor could ruin it.

Quiet older hotel. High ceilings. Small patio off room that backs on vine covered wall. We found it a bit stuffy in the room and opened the patio doors while there but not much privacy then. We were there in May. Not sure how it would be in warmer weather. The birds sang early. Great location.The breakfast was European and excellent. Very pleasant staff.

If you are looking for a busy hotel with lots of facilities then this isn't the hotel for you. However, if you want a quiet, comfortable small hotel with superb service and conveniently located for both the main square and the castle, then the Maltanski delivers on all counts. We have stayed here twice and on both occasions the staff have gone out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are spacious and quiet with comfortable beds and good quality bedding, towels and toiletries. Excellent continental breakfast with good choice and high quality, fresh food. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quiet, comfortable hotel in a great location.

A GEM OF A SMALL HOTEL IN KRAKOW

The hotel is a small gem - 19 rooms. It used to house the royal stables a few hundred years ago. Now it is a nicely appointed boutique hotel. Not great for the business traveler, but wonderful for the tourist.
We stayed 9 nights and will return for our next visit to beautiful Krakow.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was perfect! It is a short walk to the main square in the old town so it is far enough away to be quiet but close enough to be able to drop your shopping from the cloth market off before you take on your next adventure. It is across the street from a park which is lovely. The staff was amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The room was spacious And had everything we needed (safe, tea kettle, tv, blow dryer, shoe shine kits). I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to the historic center of Krakow

Visited this hotel for three days on our vacation. The hotel is an easy stroll to the main square in Krakow. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with anything we needed. Krakow is a nice place tho visit. The main square is charming in the evenings with a variety of venues with live music, dancers in the square and folks generally having a nice time. There are numerous restaurant options in the area. Quick day tours of Auschwitz and the Salt Mines were well worth the time and cost.

The Maltanski is perfectly positioned for a stay in Krakow - Just a few minutes from the river and the same to the square. The hotel is spotless and our rooms were both large and well decorated. The staff could not be more helpful and were always there in reception .

The location of this cosy hotel is fantastic: very close to the old centre. It hase a guarded parking and the people were nice.
But the beds were a disaster. The springs were poking and hurting me the whole night so I barely slept that night,

Rent og ordentlig og svært sentralt.

Sjarmerende gammel bygning som bar preg av fordums storhet. Rent og ordentlig, romslig rom og stort bad, helt ok. seng Lite trafikkstøy tross svært sentral beliggenhet like ved Gamlebyen. Godt egnet for et weekendopphold.

ottimo per turismo

perfetta ubicazione per la visita turistica. stanze molto grandi e confortevoli. non vi è aria condizionata. struttura datata ma molto confortevole. pulita e personale cordiale
