The location of this property was excellent and made it very easy to explore, being just a short walk from the main square. Although there were some roadworks nearby during our stay, this didn’t cause any inconvenience as we were usually out before they started each morning.

When we first arrived, the room appeared clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we later discovered quite a few silverfish in the bathroom, which we had to deal with daily. This was disappointing and made the space feel less well maintained than it first appeared.

We also had an issue with the window not closing properly due to a loose handle. We contacted the property, and while they responded promptly and said an engineer would attend, the problem was never actually fixed during our stay.

It also became clear that there are residents living in the same building. While this wasn’t a major issue, it would have been nice to know in advance, as the noise levels were sometimes quite high. There was loud music most nights until around 1–2am, which made it difficult to sleep. The property did provide earplugs, which was appreciated and did help somewhat with the noise.

Overall, this is a well-located place to stay with plenty of potential, but the maintenance issues, pests, and nightly noise did detract from the experience. I would consider staying again in the future, but I would have appreciated clearer communication about the presence of residents and what to expect.

The reserved apartment was changed to one in a different nearby building. Both are well located just outside of the Planty Park perimeter. The location is very good with most major sites easily walkable. Restaurants, cafes, bars, and convenience stores all nearby. The office rental staff was very friendly and helpful and the online staff responded quickly to questions and concerns. The apartment was clean and comfortable but while perhaps oversupplied with cleaning materials there were only minimums of bathroom and kitchen amenities. There were some minor maintenance issues that were nott resolved during our stay but did not cause any real problems. We enjoyed our stay and our visit to the great city of Krakow.

- do not stay. We moved hotels after a restless first night.
- Place did not provide check in instructions until we asked 40 minutes before checking in.
- beds and pillows were not to standard resulting in us mlboooing elsewhere after the first night.
- no noise suppression in the building to deal with the constant noise from the trams.
- flashing blue light in the room when it's dark that is noted \"not to turn off\"
- customer services is useless via email with no presence at the property to deal with issues.
- zero refund was offered for the last day when raising it with the company.

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a brilliant location close to the Old Town & within walking distance of the Jewish quarter, the square, bars & lots of excellent restaurants. The apartment is modern & clean with everything you need, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar etc. The only downside & it wasn’t major were the curtains, they didn’t quite cover the whole of the window & would definitely benefit from being thicker blackout curtains, but this didn’t spoil anything at all. Communication & help/advice was excellent would highly recommend & will definitely book again for my next trip to Krakow.

Just returned from Krakow, stayed at Modern View Planty Park, unit 26. Yes, the reviews about the trams with noise is true. We did sleep with the window open and could sleep OK, as the room got kind of stuffy. Trams start about 4ish in the morning and end about midnight. The unit was clean, no complaints. Only complaint is the shower bottom leaks water all over the floor, had to maneuver the shower to spray to the side wall to avoid water all over the floor. Poor installation of shower door with no sealant or installed wrong. The TV, somehow had only 1 English Channel, could not turn to any other station, was fixated only on that channel.
Location is perfect to the Town Square, plenty of good restaurants, try the “Bar Mleczny”, but bring google translate.

Our window was impossible to close completely, so it was cold and very loud from the trams outside.
When we asked for a blanket we were told that no additional bedding is allowed for two people.
The shower leaked so we used a towel to dry the floor, and no additional towels were allowed either.
But on the plus side it is in a very good location.

Property had great location but unfortunately it was let down by the cleanliness. The floors were extremely dirty and didn’t look like they had been cleaned before we arrived. The bigger issue was the fact how wet the bathroom floor got so we had to use towels to clean this up and not aware that on a 4 night stay we would not get any clean towels. When i rang to request clean towels or our room to be clean we got refused and needed to pay for towels. By the point I’d actually got through to reception and they told me about the charge we were checking out we would of paid extra due to being uncomfortable having to dry ourselves on soaking wet towel’s. We did tell the hotel staff about this on check out but was not given any apologies at all. Its a shame because apart from the cleanliness these are perfect apartments.

Apartment was perfect, 5/10 min walk max into old town square. One of the hob rings wasn’t working but that didn’t affect us! The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the trams were so so noisy throughout the night, as a pregnant woman it really affected my sleep! However if we’d gone prior to the pregnancy and been out drinking I don’t think I would’ve noticed!

Originally allocated rooms 31,32 and 35. Room 32 had a potent smell of sewerage as soon as you got to the front door. Immediately requested for a room change. Was told by staff that nothing could be done that evening other transferring to a new building 15 minutes away or have our money returned.
Moved the following day to room 24. Didn’t sleep all night due to smell of sewerage’s being so suffocating. Very poor customer service. Room 35 had no Wi-Fi signal all week. Brought to customer service attention with nothing done about resolving the issue. Again very poor customer service. Will not stay here or recommend anyone to stay here. Would like a partial refund from property for loss of sleep due to stench and for no Wi-Fi all week.

The biggest issue for me was that I specifically wanted a hotel, and filtered the search accordingly. When I selected this place it was on that understanding that it was a hotel with a reception. Clearly it was not

As I arrived in town at 11am. I went to the address to leave my bags, only there was I informed it was an Appartment and the access to which I would receive by email. The email never came. I went back to the other location where after a while the instructions were sent to me to walk to the appointment location

This is specifically why I wanted a hotel !!!

Fragola apartments went above and beyond for us during our stay. Booked and paid in advance in march through expedia but the day we were supposed to arrive contacted fragola and unfortunately my booking hadnt been forwarded from expedia and they were fully booked. We were offered a free upgrade to apartment on main square but we had another room booked at modern view for our teenage sons,so were keen to stay in same building. Took a couple of hours but a lovely guest gave up out original apartment we booked and they moved to the other apartment on the square. We cant thank them and fragola for sorting our stay for us. This had been our 2nd stay at modern view of planty park and definitely will be back

The location was awesome - a very short walk to the old town and off of multiple tram lines. My room was clean and had everything I needed. Loved that you got codes to come and go from the building without a key. Would absolutely stay here again.

Pros:
•Location is amazing in terms of market square
• no keys but code for main and room door which I thought was quite handy
• cleanliness of room spot on
•staff did acknowledge my breakfast 2/4 days

Cons:
•messed up my breakfast one morning, gave me classic when I specifically said vegetarian; breakfast was not all fresh, I had brown lettuce and peppers few days
•flat isn’t much sound proof in terms of external noises because tramline just go from below the flat so I struggled sleeping adding onto by hot temperature and noises.
•No manned reception so you couldn’t ask questions as such or complain. Couldn’t take much information about tours like mentioned on the site; the one in folder is not upto date
• no air con in the communal area so when you enter a whiff of hot air welcomes you especially ground floor; even the ac in the room is above the apartment door which doesn’t exactly blow cold air on bed.
• had this foul smelling form the ground floor reception kinda area.
• the switch next to bed was not working properly so couldn’t exactly has the phone plug on charge on night stand.
•because it’s at the corner and there is no as such parking spot; when taxi drop you off, it’s about dodgy and you have to quickly jump out of car.
•the curtains are not big enough and do not cover all the window and as soon as it’s is light, the sunlight comes in the room and naturally falls on the bed

Overall i was not really happy and would not recommend it.

stayed for 4 nights in modern view of planty park, we received a message saying the door number and room number and that check in was 3pm what we didnt realise is that the reception isnt in the same building so we had about a 5 mins walk from the hotel to the reception to confirm check in. after that its pretty nice hotel, set around a nice area!! trams are the only downfall as there going past every few mins!! 2 small shops for groceries and stuff about a minutes walk away to the left and about 5 mins up the road!! room was very clean, spacious and had more than enough for 4 nights stay the kitchenette got used for brekkie and drinks, the tv we had in room 12 wasnt brilliant could of been better if it was a smart tv!! defo book your trips in advanced as they do get busy and fully booked quick

Now, I know we are in Poland however I was travelling with my 72 year old mother so we were back in the apartment most evenings before 9pm. It would have just helped fill our evenings a little

Check-in was poor. No communications were available with the property until the day before arrival and you must have internet access the day of. They should have provided us with their check-in address, rather than requiring us to drag our luggage a1/4 mile up hill through busy cobbled streets. Even had to phone them because we needed a passcode to enter their building (not provided in advance). No assistance trudging back to original address which was not what was reserved. Entry error, they claimed. Moved us to a nice room for just one night but moved us again to a room with two cockroaches we killed. Location was good.

Since we were late arriving we received codes to enter building and apartment rather than someone meeting us which was fine for us.
It's in a really good location, about a 5 minute walk to main square.
The only thing I can think to put in the room is some milk, you are provided with tea bags, coffee and sugar but no milk so we had to buy some from local shop.
Only major issue we had was communication on last day, I messaged to say we would be stopping by reception after check out to leave our luggage for a few hours, as it is a separate building, about 8 minutes walk away. But I didn't receive a reply and when we got there we did not know where to go and no one to ask. Didn't seem like there was any staff there. So we ended up having to keep our cases with us until we got picked up in evening to go to airport.

The property was a new and very modern apartment in an old building. Located right next to Planty Park, minutes from the Square, an excellent location.
The apartment was very well appointed with a quality feel to everything. Although the building has no reception, any needs or problems could be dealt with by phone or text which was surprisingly efficient.
The standard of cleaning and cleanliness was to an exceptionally high standard. And security was dealt with by an electronic lock system with your room code being generated exclusively, meaning you needed to make a note of it somewhere, no problems with cards or keys.
Breakfast was dealt with by pre ordering from a menu of continental breakfast types delivered to the door at approx 8 a.m. And tea coffee and sugar were provided in a quite well equipped kitchenette area. With cutlery and crockery and glassware also.
The bathroom very modern and clean to a very high standard.
We had two single beds which felt small ( larger men) although not uncomfortable, these could be pushed together as a double.

Little niggles, no milk for tea and coffee was unexpected after the rest of the attention to detail. The noise from the trams ( from outside) could wake you. No security safe in room for passports money etc. But maybe being picky with these.
Overall would DEFINITELY go back to these apartments again, great value and location and a very upmarket feel.

Brilliant apartment. Clean, modern and bang in the centre of Krakow. The main square was behind university across the street.

2 small problems, bathroom smelt of sewerage each day arriving home and TV had no ENGLISH speaking channels. All in all I would definitely recommend.

The room wasn’t what we expected it’s called an apartment but it is just a room with an en-suite just like any hotel room.the way this building is advertised on Expedia in my opinion is deceiving.. The building is very modern inside because they are still working on it, 12 hours every day of noise and dust from the rooms right next to ours. So much dust down the corridor that they had to cover fire/ smoke detectors over which obviously isn’t safe at all. This property might be better in 6 months time when the building works are completed.

Excellent location, modern design and clean. The Reception is 6 minutes walking distance, it's not perfect if to walk under such cold weather for 6 minutes just to store our luggage. Breakfast will be served to your room, so you cannot expect hot food in the morning.

It was amazing. The lady who checked us in and met us with the keys was very helpful. It was very handy to be able to book excursions through the apartments, amazing service and very efficient. Perfect location, could not recommend this apartment and company enough!

Very clean and modern,newly refurbished,everything you would need a small kitchenette area with dishwasher. 5 -10 min walk to central square.
Would definitely use again and recommend.
Fantastic communication in the run up to arriving and on the day.

La struttura è graziosa, moderna, pulita a pochi passi dal centro storico, posizione ideale! Check in e check out agevole. Ci sono alcune cose che migliorerei: abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti, e ci hanno fornito un piccolo telo ed un asciugamano da viso, francamente un po’ poco per 3 notti considerando anche che la doccia tende a schizzare ed allagare il bagno e forniscono un solo tappetino. A mio parere l’ideale sarebbe fornire un accappatoio a testa oltre ai due asciugamani. Mancavano fazzoletti/ scottex che sono a mio parere indispensabili in un appartamento. Il letto non comodissimo, differenzierei i cuscini. Per il resto nulla da dire, arredato con gusto pratico e pulito. Per un weekend a Cracovia lo consiglio!

Notre chambre dans cet hôtel appart était très moderne, bien équipée. L'accès est facile grâce à un code. Très centrale dans Cracovie, tout est à distance à pied. De bons restaurants et endroits pour bruncher à côté.

Un cambio a mejorar

El desayuno no es muy variado y es limitado en cantidad me gustaba más antes hace 6 años use este mismo lugar y tú tenías 6 diferentes opciones y te lo dejaban en tu puerta y bastante cantidad en el desayuno y nunca se nos cambió las toallas en las 4 noches que estuvimos el lugar es muy bonito y tienes todo muy cercas y eso es lo que me hizo volver a este lugar
