Our original room hadn’t been cleaned but we messaged the team and they upgraded us to a newly renovated room immediately. Location was really convenient for Wawel castle and old town. The 10am check out time seems a bit early but otherwise a lovely stay!

Initial room given was filthy and covered in stains and hair but was later given an alternative room. Walls were extremely thin, can hear every movement made. No sleep at all. Would not recommend.

Bed springs and sofa-bed are in very bad condition. Uneven and each time we move we get a symphony of sounds. The same with the wooden floor. You cannot move at night without wake-up the others. Is in a convenient location but don’t expect the sleep much.

We really liked the location. Very close to the Old Town and with facilities nearby, but very quiet. The team was helpful and responsive. A few minor things we would change in the apartment (e.g. thicker curtains to block out sunrise), but these had no significant impact on our stay.

It was probably my error, but I did not realise that there would be no face to face contact or reception at the apartments. All communication is done via text or whatsapp. We did go to the office on arrival, but the people there seemed quite shocked to see us.
The apartments are a good size and in a great location.
Please be aware that customers are encouraged to leave a 5 star review to get a late check out.

Lovely character property. It is easy to hear lots of noises from neighbouring apartments but I was lucky that we had quiet mush neighbours. I wouldn’t want to be next door to a group of lads on a weekend trip , mind.

Great area and aparment very comfortable. Had air conditioning and kitchen which was great. Be aware there is not a lift and we were on the 4th floor. GPS took us to a parking station at Hotel Maltański which is located behind our hotel. DO NOT PARK HERE. The cost to park was more than the hotel! We questioned the parking attendant but no english. Reception at your hotel will guide you to more affordable parking...which we didn't realise until too late.

On our 2nd to last evening, we came back and our (old style/vintage metal) key became stuck in the door after it was unlocked open. I’ll give credit due, their onsite maintenance team came quickly. However, he continuously repeated that I forced the key in the wrong way and that’s why it was stuck. Obviously that is not how keys work as the lock would not have opened had it been “backwards”.

Irregardless of the accusation, he was unable to provide a working key for the remainder of the night (and into the next day). I had to sleep with my 2 young children with a hole in the key chamber covered by paper towel and our belongings barricading the door. Thankfully the deadbolt worked but we could not leave the flat. This was around 630p.

The following day, by 12p no one had come around to fix the key and we still couldn’t leave. For the safety of my children and to not cut more into our holiday, we checked out early. I have asked several times for a refund of the last night due to the safety concern and not having a working door and key. However, the staff manager were very rude and insisted I “broke the door” and was “lucky” they did not charge me for the key and will not be refunded.

To that note I cannot recommend this location. It is unsafe and they clearly take advantage of those who are not natives. It was a terrible taste of the country and I can only hope Expedia will take safety concerns like this at hand seriously. Thankfully I have videos and pictures of the sit

in return for a positive review the property offered an hour longer extension on check-out which is probably how they got ratings as high as they did. Building was very old and the couch was destroyed. Mattress was severely broken-in and each person got one pillow which felt like it had been slept on for years—very lumpy. Had issues getting the TV to work as well. Location was the only perk.

The hotel is well located a stone's throw from the Wavel’s castle.
That’s probably all you can tell about these apartments.
Room have needed a renovation in last venture yet. Squeaking floor, puffed up on some places, creaking ancient doors, only ceiling lamp, no lamp on single(!) bed-side table, breaker at the wall beside entrance door - if you falling asleep you must stand up!, no fun in toilet, some problem with hot water, only polish TV channel, no one international etc…

Great location but a bit noisy

The location is great, price is good, place is clean and comfortable. Only issue is it is an apartment building and the long term tenants across the hall are quite loud late into the night and sound carries in such an old building.

Check in and communication with reception was flawless. However it was a very basic room. The mattress was quite flimsy and the bed protector made a rustling noise when you moved. A few slight changes to the room would have made a difference in our experience: a full length mirror, soap bar or shampoo, a hand towel in the bathroom (or at least a hook to hang our bathtowels so we can wipe our hands on them), a guide to use the TV (we were only able to access one Polish channel during our stay), a mattress where you dont feel the spring coils.

Overall, the receptionists were excellent and I thank them for being so helpful and friendly, but the room was quite disappointing.

This was our second time staying in Krakow. We really enjoyed OTR. It was a spacious apartment that had a view of Wawel castle. The instructions given to get in and out were easy to follow. The location was perfect. It was about a 5 minute walk to the main square, and 25 minute walk to the train station. I travelled with my family of 5, (2 adults and 3 kids) everything was clean, neat and tidy. Good value for the price.
The only disadvantages were hot water would go in and out. The shower would start , from cold to hot; and maybe 3 mins later turn ice cold. It was very hard to get the kids to shower because of the extreme water changes. Also, there was an odour from the sulphur from the water. Lastly, we had a larger stroller, and there was no lift, we had to carry the stroller up and down everyday, not a huge deal, but just throwing it out there to maybe request ground level if possible.
Overall, we would stay here again!

The location is great, just a short walking distance from the Wawel castle and main market square. Unfortunately the room wasnt very clean, there was dust everywhere. The sofa bed was dirty and the sheets we were given were for a single bed whereas did not fit the double sofa bed, also when requested replacement towels we had to wait for more than 2 hours.

Very good location! Close to old town square.
Very thin walls! We were unfortunately next to a family where the child cried from 10pm till 11pm and then again from 1am till 2am. Meaning we had a very distrupted nights sleep.
Very cold in the room but that was because it was -5 degrees outside - air con did have heating function but extremely noisy so couldn’t have on at night.
Lovely set up and everything you needed was there just a shame about the lack of sleep and the coldness of the apartment.

Just as pictured and a short walk to the old town!

When we first arrived I was a bit apprehensive as the hall/courtyard is pretty basic. But the apartment itself was immaculate, had the essential amenities, comfortable, warm, 10 minute walk to the old town and the option to have Netflix on the TV was a nice little bonus :)
The street nearby/apartment itself was pretty quiet and self contained. The few times we spoke to reception they were friendly and pleasant.
Massolit cafe and Big Hat Of Coffee are both pleasant stops for breakfast but the kitchen was decently stocked and there are supermarkets nearby too. I can’t fault this place at all!

Our room had a balcony overlooking a park area. The room was perfect for us.
The electronic key entraance into tge building and room allowed us to come and go whenever we pleased.
Also we felt very secure in the building.

we did not stay at these apartments, the smell of damp hit you as soon as you opened the door to go into the property, we ask to see the apartment before we checked in, the young lady showed us through a court yard which we glad of thinking we were going somewhere nicer, that feeling was soon gone the smell of damp was even worse in this building with at least 40 steps up a rickety wooden staircase. The apartment looked clean but was not 2 bedroomed which is what we needed, they were calling the living room a bedroom because of the bed settee, the young lady was not very happy when we said we wouldn't be stopping, but she was polite and professional and rung us a taxi.

Amazing Stay!

We rented this property for three nights and were not disappointed! The property is within walking distance to Vistula river, Wawel, and the City Center. The apartment is well equipped if you would like to make your own meals. The shopping is near by with great deli / bakeries within 5 minute walking distance. We would pickup fresh bread every day for our breakfast which was very convenient and delicious! The place is very spacious and very clean. There is a paid underground parking across the street which was very convenient for us. You do get a discounted nightly rate so check with the property before parking there. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and we will definitely consider it again for our next trip to Krakow. Thank you!

Excellent Accommodations in the heart of Krakow

Excellent value! This apartment-style hotel is located in the heart of Krakow - steps away from Wawel Hill (Castle/cathedral, which you can see from the window), the Old Town, Kazimierz District and the Visla River. Many small grocery stores are also conveniently located, as well as restaurants. You simply cannot ask for a better location! Room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with high ceilings and windows. Very modern and sleek furniture and home accessories were added for a homey touch. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating, and always eager to help out. Only complaint is that the rooms are located on the top floor (have to walk up two flights of stairs as there is no elevator) while reception is on the ground floor. No toiletries were provided. Otherwise, super accommodations, would definitely recommend.

Old Town Residence, Krakow

Old Town Residence is close to the Old Town overlooking the pleasant na Groblach Square. It is well appointed to explore both the Old Town and Kaziemierz districts. Our flat was comfortable and clean if a little Spartan. The accommodation proved really good value for money and met our expectations. We arrived late but obtaining a room key was not at all problematic and the flat was easy to find.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was great, the location is fantastic, and the price is lower than you would expect, but that is probably true of true of lots of places in Krakow. The difference here was the staff. There is a front desk with English speaking staff there early to late (though note 24 hours), who were amazingly helpful with everything from recommending restaurants to loaning up a spare phone charger when I lost mine. They even called when I arrived in Krakow to check if there was anything they could help with. Amazing.

Great studio apartment just a few minute walk through a wonderful park to the main square! We loved this apartment, price was amazing and the staff was very friendly as well. The area was quiet just off the main street but only 5 minute walk to Wawel Castle and to Krakow main square.

Nous avons été très déçus par notre séjour. Dès notre arrivée, une odeur désagréable persistante se faisait sentir dans la chambre. La literie était dans un état très sale, inconfortable et même insalubre.

Nous n’avons jamais rencontré de personnel sur place, et malgré notre signalement concernant le matelas, il n’a jamais été remplacé comme annoncé : seuls les draps ont été changés, alors que le matelas est resté dans le même état.

Face à ces conditions inacceptables, nous avons dû écourter notre séjour et réserver à nos propres frais dans un autre hôtel.

Je ne recommande absolument pas cet établissement.
Fuyez !!!

El apartamento está muy bien situado, se puede acceder a todos los lados andando. Es amplio y limpio, pero el edificio es antiguo y con falta de mantenimiento. El baño es nuevo y las ventanas también. La cocina no tiene extractor y, por tanto, el salón se llena de humo cuando se cocina. Éramos 3 personas, pero solo había 2 sillas y una mesita en la terraza. Eso no es suficiente para sentarse a comer. Si no se va a cocinar mucho, el apartamento está muy bien si buscas algo económico. Pero no esperes grandes comodidades. Las almohadas son de papel.

L’appartamento si trova a pochi passi dal castello di Wawel e 10 minuti a piedi dalla Piazza principale. Eravamo 4 amici ad alloggiare in un appartamento spazioso dotato di cucina ampio salotto con divano letto, una camera da letto bagno e balcone che dava al patio della struttura. Abbiamo trovato tutto molto pulito e ci siamo sentiti comodi.
Uscendo dalla struttura si trovano molti negozi dove andare a fare spesa aperti fino alle 23.
Consigliatissimo.

Sehr gute Lage zur Altstadt.

Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie in Krakau. Die Lage für Trips in die Altstadt ist perfekt!! Je nachdem, welches Apartment man bucht, muss man gut zu Fuß sein, das wussten wir aber vorher schon. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung, um das wunderschöne Krakau zu erleben und erkunden.

Appartment was very clean and beautiful with all necessary ammenities. However the flooring makes allot of noise when walking. Midnight you could clearly hear other people walking in their room/appartment.

The self service check-in was great. If you arrive early they provide you with entry to store your bags untill it's time to check-in. The communication was also very clear and straight forward. I would definitely stay here again.

El departamento esta super bien ubicado, frente al castillo de wawel. Estaba super cerca de la plaza principal (mercado). La comunicacion con el equipo del hotel super bien, nos ofrecieron un tour a Aushwitz y pasaron directamente ahi, incluia guia y todo, super buen servicio.
Lo que no me gusto es que la regadera era minuscula y por momentos se iba el agua caliente. No nos dejaron articulos de tocador, a pesar de que mencionaba que si. No hicieron la limpieza durante mi estancia. Me dieron una habitación con sofa cama, pero no la tendieron, estaba todo desodernado. Pero ocnsidero que son cosas que facilmente pueden mejorar, aun asi lo recomendaria.

Første gang vi har opplevd at bildene fra bookingsidene samsvarer med hva man faktisk får. Vi var veldig positivt overrasket over standarden dette leilighetshotellet hadde å by på. Veldig god beliggenhet. God løsning på lås til hoveddør,mellomdør og romdør. Fint bad, med det man trenger til kroppen.

Det eneste negative, var at sengene ikke var så gode å sove i.

De locatie van de residentie was perfect, veel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. De kamer zag er netjes uit, badkamer was schoon en als was aanwezig. Het bed en de bedbank waren echter niet meer in orde, zeer oncomfortabel. het bed stond scheef en de bedbank was niet meer goed uit te klappen.
