Traditional and authentic feel which some may say old fashioned. Super clean, comfy bed and stones throw from the Old Town Square. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Would definitely book again!

Charming room decor, located just steps around the corner from the main hotel Santi where you check in. Very spacious room with view of the street and can hear the horse & carriage pass by. Our flight was cancelled and had to check in a day later. Communicated thru the Expedia app to let the hotel know. They did not answer back, got a bit worried but when we arrived they acknowledged that they knew about our cancelled flight.

We had to switch rooms during our stay. First room was the 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds which was great. Beds were comfortable and a good price. Then we had to switch to a 1 bedroom with sofa bed that was terrible. Even the actual queen bed was different. Super hard foam or something. The problem is also they don’t have a full time front desk and we were going out around 8am so the day we switched rooms, there wasn’t even anyone around so we could store luggage. We were told that the cleaning person would be around but she was not. Staff seems apathetic but I understand this is more of a budget hotel with a great location. Originally when we arrived at the hotel at 2:30pm we were abruptly told that check- in doesn’t start until 3pm.

Public Service Announcement: If coming by car, use Google Maps and NOT Apple Maps. Even with the parking address provided through the Expedia messenger by the hotel, Apple Maps kept directing us through the pedestrian zones. We switched to Google Maps and it worked a solution that got us within 100 feet (30m) of hotel parking, but at the wrong end of a one-way street (Polselska). At that point (it took more than 45 minutes to cover the last mile to the hotel due to misnavigatin), after verifying there was no oncoming traffic, we forged up the street to the parking entrance which was open due to departing cars.

Anyway, the Aparthotel Grodzka 21 is managed through the office of the nearby Santi Hotel, which is where one needs to go to register, pick up keys, and park. Once we parked, we found the reception and check-in went smoothly, including getting train directions to the Wieliczka Salt Mine for which we had tickets the next morning (we weren't about to repeat the old town driving experience unless we had to).

The Aparthotel does not have an elevator, which was fine for us since we travel light. We enjoyed our well-appointed third-floor room for the two nights we stayed.

Points of interest, restaurants, evening music, and souvenir shops are right outside the hotel or within a ten to fifteen minutes walk with the train station being a little further away.

We really enjoyed our time here.

I had an overall great experience with my stay. Everyone was very nice. Wiktotia was extremely nice and helpful as I arrived very early before my checkin time and she stored my luggage while I went out in town. It ended up she was able to get my room ready and checked in a little early. Great location as well, everything was within walking distance and great food and bakeries very close. I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Krakow. Highly recommend!

A great find in the heart of Kraków. Very good location with a very walkable distance to the main square and Wawel castle :) trams meters away and loads of restaurants and small cafes around. Definitely recommend if you like a busy atmosphere and lots to do nearby.

Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. However, I encountered a few issues. My room was meant to include a desk, which I relied on for work. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi only functioned for a few hours before completely cutting out. As a result, I had to purchase extra data from my provider for $40. With that amount, I could have booked a more expensive room with reliable Wi-Fi and a desk.

Additionally, the hairdryer was quite frustrating. It required me to hold down a button for it to work, and once I released it, it stopped. With my long hair, drying took an eternity, making the experience quite tedious.

Lastly, the shower door didn’t close properly, causing water to spill all over the bathroom floor.

It was in a great position in the old town, but my room was at the top of the house, 4 flights of stairs and no liift. I am fit but getting on in years. Main reception in a hotel round the corner. Many restaurants and attractions close by. Parks with shade everywhere. Food is generally cheap

I was very happy about the parking accommodation since there is almost no parking in Old Town. We loved our place. We wanted to stay in Old Town and get the full experience of its hustle and bustle. This did not disappoint!! Very close to the market square, so we had numerous options for dining day and night. We spent a few nights just watching out our window at all the young people having fun and living it up! The staff was very helpful booking attractions for us to visit. I don’t think we could’ve had a better authentic Polish experience than this one! Thank you!

Great location in the old town surrounded by all that Krakow has to offer.
The room was dressed in older style furnishings some just for decoration but none the less a functional room. Lastly, there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom as though the toilet needed sealing !
However 2 things to be aware of!
1- Being where it is makes it a very noisy location with noisy revellers and trams through the night. The hotel supply you with foam earplugs if you can use them!
2.There is no lift in the building and there are many flights of stairs to go up and down - not the easiest hotel to have heavy cases or if you have any mobility issues.

This is not a hotel.

The front door was locked, the phone number didnt work, and no one answered my rings or knocks. I was fortunate to find an available room at a different hotel. It looks like a secure apartment building being advertized as a hotel.

This place was just perfect for what we needed! It was a great location -just off the main square and not far from the kazimierz area. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy! The pillow could have been better but we still slept well! It was easy to check in -check in was at a hotel across the road.

The staff team were friendly and helpful even making contact when they realised the plane had been diverted to Warsaw. the room met the requirements specified and was clean and warm. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town. The only down side was the long lasting noise from below our room on the first night - the other nights were quiet.

This hotel has fantastic staff! Prior to my trip, they emailed me lots of helpful information about their hotel and tours available. I had them book a tour to Aushwitz. for me. Another highlight about this place was the day of my tour. The tour was early in the morning prior to breakfast. The lovely receptionist made sure I had a take away breakfast made before I left for my tour. It was greatly appreciated since breakfast and lunch was not included in the tour. The rooms were super clean and had everything you needed. Excellent location and in walking distance to all the sites in Kraków.

Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Of a lesser 'quality' than I would usually book but would happily stay again. The property is tastefully decorated and very Polish with its furnishings which was very nice. The only negative was some noise at night from the street if you kept the window open but it didn't disturb us too much. It is perfect for sightseeing due to its excellent location.

I am a senior lady and travel alone. On May 12, 2019, I arrived at Aparhotel Grodzka 21 with inflammation in my legs. This problem affected my walking and sitting. Reception staff member, Karolina searched for me to find available doctor. At that time, everything was closed because it was Sunday. The following day, manager Piotr helped me by making an appointment with a home doctor who came over to the hotel to exam me, after I came back to hotel from day trip to Auschwitz. The doctor who is not English-speaking was assisted by hotel staff member Alina and she acted as my an interpeter and she did an excellent job.

At the present time, my leg pains and stress has decreased and I can enjoy the rest of my trip. Thank you for the assistance given by the Aparhotel Grodzka hotel team. I am very grateful for your care during my stay.

A lovely place to stay with fantastic & helpful staff! Right off the town square, steps away from a main tram stop that takes you to anywhere else you want to go easily (Schindler's museum to Nowa Huta). They will arrange tours for you, usually with pick up right from the hotel. Some of the best restaurants in Krakow are steps away--make reservations for the popular ones or you won't get in! I've rarely stayed somewhere with such delightful and helpful staff on every level, to arranging airport transport at 4:15 a.m. (without a hitch and a driver waiting who knew my name) to needing extra hangers to arranging to deliver breakfast the evening before on days I had to leave before restaurant service began. I would definitely stay here again. THANK YOU for such a lovely, warm Krakow experience!

we traveled to krakow for a week. the place we stayed was tidy and clean. its located in the city center in the old town. also next to it was a tourist info center (perfect for booking some tours). if you are travelling by car, there are some pubic parking spots and a private parking in walking distance. overall if we would come to krakow again, we would definately book there again.

The location of the apartment hotel is excellent. However you need to balance this against street noise. I went in an off peak period and had a deal whereby it included breakfast in the restaurant next door which was ok.The staff were very polite and helpful and will try to get you to book trips through them. It may be worth you shopping around if this suits. The room had air con whichever I did not use and likewise a TV. Generally the property's is very clean, well cared for ,decorated and presented in a local style. If you struggle with stairs it may not be for you. Likewise street noise is a trade off with location. I would stay there again.

This a very well located guesthouse with a nice breakfast served in the next door cafe. Staff absolutely lovely but our room was not very comfortable - supposedly a double but it was a double bed pushed against the window (very small room) and one of you had to climb over the other. Bed not very comfortable so we did not sleep well.
Apart from that we really enjoyed our time in Krakow.

We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Krakow. The customer service was above and beyond from the moment we booked, until we checked out. The location is perfect, one block from Market Square. The breakfast was sufficient, either continental or you could order from a small menu. The staff at Grodzka 21 assisted us with airport transportation as well as tours. We missed our connecting flight and arrived several hours after our expected arrival time and were charged a very small fee for late check in. Even so, we are very happy that the clerk waited patiently for our arrival and also rescheduled our airport pick up. This is a unique character property that you will enjoy!
