Hotel, location, staff all excellent staff. We didn't particularly enjoy the breakfast, but that was just personal preference and nothing to do with the selection on offer. Special shout to Vladis-Lav, who was on reception in the evening, so very helpful. Also I would recomend the pick up/drop off car service to the the airport

At at first glance the hotel room seemed great It had a double occupancy Jacuzzi in the room, using it is dangerous, no rubber mats in it or just outside on the polished tiles. This resulted in me slipping and falling twice whilst getting out of the Jacuzzi, injuring my back as per the photograph, when I for the reception staff to report my injuries and the negligence in not providing rubber mats they just dismissed it, as if it was normal.
The hotel had obviously been completely renovated in the recent past and they seem to have spent so much money on the main alterations but there had no money left for the basics.

not enough electrical plugs ,and some in inaccessible

the desk in the room , way too small
Staff must not be from Krakow as their local knowledge was zero
serving hot breakfast on cold plates
All furniture in the room was very cheap and nasty

From the moment we arrived, Arthur on reception welcomed us warmly, our room was ready early, bottle of blanc de blancs comp in room (bday) and our room 309 had the best view over the main square, stunning. Room was large, comfortable with great amenities like a Nespresso coffee pod machine, kettle & teabags, stocked fridge with free soft drinks, comp water every day, great hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, hot effective walkin shower, and a jacuzzi (which wasn’t for us but maybe for others!). They will alter the mattress to firmer if you like. Great cold and cooked breakfast. Choice of Polish or Italian served in the restaurant all day / evening, also having outside tables on the square with great view of Cloth Hall. Staff throughout the hotel absolutely lovely, couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast staff offered us pancakes 1/2 a hour after breakfast was meant to finish, no rush and so polite and genuine. Room was kept spectacularly clean every day. Fresh towels whenever you use them. Location perfect. Would return in a heartbeat!

We had an upgrade to a huge suite with a jacuzzi, we really couldn’t find fault atall. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here during Christmas week. You really can't beat the location as it's right in the main square that contains the cloth hall, St. Mary's Basilica and many great shops and restaurants. It also host's the amazing annual Christmas Market. Our room was clean, cozy and well stocked every day of our stay. Kudo's to the housekeeping staff for doing such a great job. The front desk staff (especially Vlad who works in the evenings) were always friendly and happy to answer our questions and make arrangements for us. The breakfast spread is a nice way to start the day before heading out to explore the city. We felt Betmanowska Main Square Residence was a great value for the price we paid.

What a lovely hotel - welcoming staff - right in the square - exactly where we wanted to be - with the Christmas market and festivities. Our Room was absolutely perfect - breakfast was whatever you chose and great and every member of staff so helpful. The driver that took us to the salt mine was so nice and knowledgable - a really great day we had.
