The property is excellently located on the Square and was easy to locate and get into. The instructions on how to gain entry arrived 24 hours prior to our visit and everything went smoothly.
The property is in a great location and up 2 flights of stairs which we were fine with, but anybody elderly could find difficult.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything you could want was available. You may need ear plugs; we were in apartment 2 and it was quite noisy with people walking home in the early hours and shouting/singing but luckily, we had earplugs and if we didn't there were some provided by the apartment.
All in all, we had a great time, and I would highly recommend the Scharffenberg Apartment and will definitely visit again. Thank you.

This apartment was in a great location in Krakow! It was a bit loud at night since we were right next to the Square. My only complaint is that the curtains let a lot of light in at night. They do not cover around the whole window. Sleeping in the bed you stare right at the street light. AND know this apartment is up the stairs, no elevators.

The location of this property is amazing. You can walk everywhere and not worry about transportation. That said, the apartment is in an old building and there is no elevator. The stairs were difficult for our elderly mom and carrying our suitcases up was a challenge. Entering the building can also be challenging if you forget the entry code (there is a donut store right next door to make it better :) Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the apartment.

The location was fantastic for access to Rynek Glowny (the main market square) and the night life that comes with that! It was a cute and comfortable apartment - we loved our stay and want to go back to Krakow! If you drive there, parking is tricky so be prepared to find a location and do some walking. We found a 24-hour lot that was 20 euro per night, which seemed reasonable.

This place was great! The location is right on the main square, but our room overlooked the back courtyard, so was still very quiet. It had a nice air conditioning unit. It was well supplied with everything we needed.

Other than hauling our bags up 3 flights of stairs (which we were fully aware of when we booked) this place was fantastic. Super clean, bright and had everything we needed. Some nights it ia quite loud outside and the windows don't keep noise out, but they do provide ear plugs even, I imagine for that reason.

It was stunning how busy the street below is during busy periods and how you cannot hear a thing in this apartment. We spent hours sitting and watching the horses walking past outside on the windowsill.
The location is great, and the staff were great. We also strongly recommend the Karamello chocolatier at the bottom of the street, the hot chocolates are to die for! We will be back!!!

This is a unique property in what was originally a 14th-15th C. building. Jon(?) & Carolina, the part-time property caretakers (no one is there full time; they are always reachable by phone/text) were unusually kind and friendly, and were consistently helpful whenever we (or others) had any questions or concerns. Full marks for helpfulness.

Perfectly located on the edge of the square, we went for the xmas markets, we arrived late in the evening with no problems locating the property, we received the entry codes in the morning of arrival very easy and efficient system, the shop was still open so we could get some provisions (tea, coffee, sugar, milk) we stopped for breakfast just across the square and had a lovely couple of days wandering around, after check out we were able to leave our bags in reception while we enjoyed our last day, Karolina then organised a taxi for us to go to the airport, overall I can highly recommend the apartments, thankyou for a lovely stay !

This property is lovely and in an AMAZING location leading off the main Market Square. It’s kitted out with coffee machine and you can buy the bullets from the office, if anyone is ever thereto respond. The only, and I mean only, downside is that due to the central location it can be really noisy from revellers or deliveries/bins emptying. However, ear plugs are provided and were used!!

Ideal location, literally a few steps from the main square. It was a large room with all the usually amenities, including a mobile phone which you can take with you as a tour guide during your stay. Next door is a cafe that does a great buffet breakfast for 25 ZL. If you have a room at the front there is the occasional noise from late night clubers, but I used the ear plugs provided and slept soundly.

The location is wonderful, at the main square in Krakow at the start of the street that goes to Wawel Cathedral and Castle. There was some late night early morning street noise, and the property supplied ear plugs for light sleepers, which we are not. Restaurants were everywhere, and there is a good breakfast spot next door to the property entry.

It all started with a reservation made by us on a Sunday. Within minutes we received a reply by Kasia, the manager, and within very little time the airport transfer and 2 excursions (Auschwitz/ Birkenau and Salt Mines - both are a MUST-DO iin our view) were arranged.
And the Scharffenberg is a great place located on the corner of the market square - all one could wish for close by! However our room was still quiet enough to get a decent sleep.

The title does not say it all: manager Maciej made everything perfect. The apartment is fitted perfectly. This is literally a few steps from the main square with attractions and excellent restaurants.

This is a lovely apartment in a brilliant central position. It was very well equipped and super clean. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was cosy and homely. Maciej was there to welcome us and ensured we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Breakfast was available next door from 7:30 with no need to book, good value.

Walk out the apartment door, turn slightly left, without walking, you are already at the Krakow's marvelous 13 century historical old town square.

This apartment is in a old building, newly renovated. It has extra large room and washroom with very high ceiling. The decoration is very stylish and tasteful. It has open kitchen with all the pots, plates and utensils that you need. I have to compliment about the in room coffee maker. It makes the best coffee I have ever tasted from a home coffee maker. Try it out and let me know:-) Also, all the tea, coffee, water soap and shampoo the apartment provided are all good quality products.

Prior to our arrival we were in communication regarding parking which was very helpful. We were given maps to help locate the parking lot and then to the apartment. On arrival we was greeted by Ulla, she was very friendly and offered her assistance if we needed any information and gave us a contact number to use at any time of the day. The apartments are located on the corner of the main square which was very useful. Only draw back is that it can be a little noisy being so close to the square but they offer ear plugs in case you are a light sleeper. There is also no lift to the apartment which is 2 flights up. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was very clean and well maintained.

You step out the front gate and you are in Old Town. Yet it was quiet at nite. Everything was wonderful in our room (D1). It doesn't have an elevator but they helped with our luggage and I made it even though I'm almost 65 years old!! Great place! I would definitely go back.

Apartments are in a fantastic location on the edge of the Old Town Square, bars , restaurants, shops all a few minutes walk away, train/bus station a 15 minute walk. The apartments are very clean and have everything you need, including aircon. Nothing is to much trouble for Maciej and his team. Auschwitz is easily accessible by public transport, bus or train.

Great apartments situated just off the main square, well equipped clean and comfortable. Maciej greeted us and showed us our apartment he was friendly and helpful. they arranged our pickup from the airport and a tour to Auschwitz which went without a hitch. Being close to the square and on the main pedestrian way towards the castle it was a bit noisy especially at night. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend a stay. We would defiantly use them again.

You can't beat the location right off the main square. You step out your door to the beauty and excitement of Krakow! Many good restaurants throughout the area and connection to taxis and transit is very good.

Big room for a small price!
Apartment room was spacious enough for family of four (2 teens) and probably the largest hotel room we have had in Europe in 8 yrs of travel. Good location, friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, standard cold continental. Breakfast staff were not great - you had to flag them down like a taxi to get coffee as they avoid you for the most part. Rooms could use and update, but were clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall, we would stay here again as it’s great for the price, and the ac unit was a huge plus in 26c temps!

Perfect location with easy and affordable parking near by. Krakow is a very walkable city and the location made it easy to walk everywhere. There is no elevator but our host helped us get our luggage to the 3rd floor. Would stay here again! The only criticism was the lack of blackout curtains as we were there in June and the sun was up at 4:30 am so hard to sleep with all that light.

The accommodation were pleasant. Bed was comfortable and the fact that we cocoon control the temperature was very nice. There was only a duvet for cover, no top sheet and there were no face cloths. We asked for cleaning service 3 times during our 6 night stay. The first time the toilet paper was refreshed as well as the coffee pods and sugar packets. The cups and flatware we had washed was put away but the towels were not replaced nor was the bed made. The other two times the room was impeccable! It was hard for us to climb the 3 flights of steps since my husband uses a cane, but we managed. Even the use of a service lift would have been nice after a long day of sight seeing.
