We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Wyndham, perfectly located on the main street just two minutes from the main square, making it ideal for exploring Kraków’s Old Town.

From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. We were welcomed with complimentary Prosecco in reception, which was a lovely touch—especially as it was International Women’s Day.

The spa was amazing and a real highlight of the stay. Our room was large, spacious, and very comfortable, giving us plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing.

What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and very helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, a fantastic hotel in a perfect location. We would definitely stay here again.

They provided yummy and beautiful sweets and a bottle of wine after checkin. The hotel was a palace before. The room is large and super high ceiling with beautiful decorations.

Beautiful appartment suite overlooking the square. Lovely breakfast and bar area. The only thing that lets the hotel down is its communal corridors that are very bland and uninviting. So much could be added to make the hallways more welcoming and appear less like a budget hostel.

Location, location, location! This hotel is very nice and is in the perfect place - just minutes walk from main square with St Mary’s Basilica and just seconds from Florian’s gate and the Barbican in the opposite direction. Staff was just fine- didn’t need much from them but they were happy to call taxis when needed. Bed was a little firm for my liking and the pillows were uncomfortable for me, so I didn’t get the best sleep. Bathroom is marble and very pretty- but it echoes and is loud with little to no counter space. Breakfast was fine (not fabulous) and there was a light option which I appreciated. Still, the location made up for those little issues for me and I would stay there again!

We had a room on the interior of the 3rd floor so not much of a view but a large skylight with a motor driven shade. It was super cozy and very quiet, and very large. Well appointed with free waters and a Nespresso machine and hot water kettle (and caffeinated and decaf options for coffee and tea). Mini bar, but we didn’t use it. Shower was nice, though slightly hard to keep the water hot. The array for breakfast was so lovely and the staff there and in the hotel was very attentive! Fantastic location for restaurants and sight seeing. We would definitely come back (and we loved Krakow).

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. I would recommend this 100000% to anyone spending time in krakow. The interior is gorgeous and the pool/sauna/spa area was so cool! Great located hotel in Krakow

A great hotel located in the Old Town of Krakow. Very convenient for all the main sites in the city and in easy walking distance of the main train station. All the staff were friendly, and the food was very good. The room was quite small but adequate for a short stay. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The entire place was spotless—very clean and well-maintained from the lobby to the rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. Everyone spoke English fluently, which made communication easy and pleasant.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean—just perfect. I also really enjoyed the food; everything was fresh and delicious. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around, and the car service was reliable and efficient.

Overall, a top-notch stay. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

I traveled with 5 school age kids. Loved the location: Starbucks, Sephora right outside. Many dining options. Loved the room, huge, giant windows, super tall doors. I felt like Icwas living in the game of thrones with my own kingdom.
Loved the parking ( 150 ZL per day). Staff was superb. Very clean.
Nice upscale surroundings.
I relaxed in the SPA zone, loved the pool, salt cave, sauna, hot tub, steam room.
I would stay there again.

Really Excellent Stay - Everything Very Positive

Beautiful hotel property with really wonderful hotel staff. On-premises Italian restaurant was delicious and has a very relaxing rooftop terrace with a great evening vibe for our traveling family (with teenagers).

Staff prepared box lunches for us for our planned tour the morning after arrival - they were very good and plentiful (easily could have split one lunch between two persons). Location was excellent. Young man at the front desk that greeted us upon arrival (evening of July 1st) was exceptionally lovely and made us feel very welcome to our visit in Poland and the hotel. He and the female waitress serving us in the restaurant that night were both a highlight of our time in Krakow (where smiles are not generously shared outside the hotel and around the city). Room cleaners were very gracious and polite. Hiring has been well-executed here at Wyndham.

Room was quite spacious with lovely decor in both that space and around the entire property. Bathroom was luxurious with its spaciousness and nice fixtures after two weeks traveling about Europe in cramped hotels. Two sinks, very large shower, and excellent water pressure - we hit the trifecta!!!! Also, air conditioning works GREAT and really cools off well during high outside temps (92 Fahrenheit), which was an absolute unicorn of a find in our travels.

Our stay was a great value for the pricing. I will definitely recommend this property to my friends and colleagues traveling to Krakow for both pleasure and business.

Great hotel in an excellent location. We appreciated the space and cleanliness of the room and it was a quiet haven in a central street. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if visiting Krakow. Only two minor criticisms. The pool is too cold to the extent you can’t stay long. We booked this hotel as it had a pool so this was disappointing. Also breakfast service wasn’t ideal. We had to wait for a table all three mornings, not because it was full but because tables hadn’t been cleared. Plus we had to wait for essential breakfast items - cups for the coffee machine. Minor issues. Great facilities overall and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A warmer pool and would be five star review.

Had such a lovely stay. We booked a deluxe room which was very nice, furnished well and had the finishing touches you would expect. The only small issue was the temperature of the room being too high despite the AC being on the lowest setting. as we were out exploring the city for most of the day it wasn’t too much of a problem therefore I didn’t flag it with the staff so haven’t knocked off any stars for that. The spa was also very nice and relaxing with great facilities, the only thing that would’ve topped it off was if the spa had provided a basic face wash or face towels. The staff were helpful, attentive and even helped us book an excursion. Overall a really lovely stay and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Average hotel. Average service. Average rooms. Average spa. The pictures look rather better than it is in reality.

Rooms feel dated. Carpets were dirty and tired. Online it says soundproofed rooms, however, the street below is still audible. The view was a nice surprise, however, the tiles on the balcony were loose. The water temperature of the shower is unstable.

The spa is dated and falling apart. The pool changes colour constantly which gives a cheap vibe. There are hotels nearby with much more modern and relaxing spa facilities.

Overall, significantly over-priced compared to other exceptionally good hotels that offer much greater value in Old Town, Krakow.

Booked a couple of rooms for the family, everyone loved it! Arrived in a few hours earlier than check-in time from Zakopane, our first room was ready and the second one was ready within an hour. Super friendly staff, everyone was very amicable and polite.

Rooms were spacious, more on the classical/elegant style, very practical and comfortable. Great location, it's a five minute walking distance to Stare Miasto.

Pool area was good too. Steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and massages available.

Highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent service here. I left my phone in a Krakow taxi and the front-desk staff helped us locate it and when the phone was actually located, and returned to the front-desk the staff there held on to it till we returned and I was able to retrieve it without missing a beat!

Breakfasts were beyond my expectations, the room very comfortable, always clean. Our stay in Krakow was a big part of our European vacation which was much more than just a vacation (meeting my partner's parents for the first time) so the hotel was obviously a big part of our experience and it was just perfect.

Property was a bit hard to find initially. There was no street in front of the hotel so you have to get dropped off at the nearest side street and you have to walk down a few blocks to find the hotel. We didn’t mind as the hotel was centrally located and amenities were fine. Staff were also great.

The hotel is situated very conveniently in Old Town, very close to Market Square (but not so close to have the noise). The room size was generous, beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The staff service during breakfast was friendly and efficient and the food quite good. The front desk staff was our only so-so experience as they ranged from not very helpful to extremely helpful. Blazej was extraordinarily helpful and prompt in responding to emails leading up to our visit (first time to Poland) and helped plan some great and unique tours and restaurants for dinner. I’d highly recommend this hotel!
