Not all of these issues are the fault of Old Town Residence. One of our major disappointments was that “breakfast included”means you get a breakfast voucher for a local restaurant. The hotel claims this is made clear on their site but “Hotels.com”do not. If we want to have breakfast at a restaurant we will choose for ourselves closer than a 21 minute walk. The room itself was cramped and dingy. There was no chair, no cupboards or drawers, the pillows were hard and a musty smell permeated the apartment. The bathroom was newly renovated and quite nice. I would not recommend it.

Pros about this stay: FANTASTIC location, great price, beds clean, air conditioning worked well, newly remodeled and WiFi worked well.
Cons about this stay: I’m talking the most basic of Ammenities - only give 2 bath towels with one shower mat towel - no hand towels - room not cleaned daily - they were only able to exchange my towels once during stay. Hand soap is size of a EURO coin, shower gel is TINY and used up immediately - no shampoos/conditionars/loations. Beds felt skinnier than a regular twin size. Only 1 EURO pillow per bed. Very LIMITED space for any suitcase. Very noisy - you hear main door SLAM all night long. But location was REALLY GOOD. Note: check out time is 10am - they require proof of a good review to extend Che k out to 11am - hum….

Carpets were dirty, beds were uncomfortable with a tiny bathroom which had a shower that was minute! Tried to bribe us with an extra hour on the check out if we left a positive review - generally disappointing

Bad customer service and no toilet roll

Rooms doesn’t get changed at all unless you pay extra everyday, if you need anything by WhatsApp asked for toilet roll said the housekeeping going to bring it down in the morning, had asked again as came back tostill no toilet roll after being out all day, said won’t be bringing it until after 9 not good enough!! The hotel service was shocking on day check out housekeeping walked into the room no knocking expecting us out of the room before check out. Only thing can say good location within walking distance

Fantastic location. Right off the Little Market square, 15-20 minutes walk to train station and just steps away from Old Town. Clean and modern furnishings at a very affordable price. Luggage storage available. There’s no reception office on site, but check in procedure and communications through WhatsApp were very easy.

The room was small. The extra bed opened but wasn’t stable and child kept folding inside it. Funny at first but he couldn’t sleep well. The shower is manageable for tiny people. I could barely fit.
We ran out of toilet paper and there was no one to ask for more.

My experience exceeded expectations. Staff communication with WhatsApp was quick and courteous. Room was great. Ideal location to Old Town Krakow and the train station.

Situated in the old town and a five minute walk to the main square. Simple check in, you're mailed/texted the entry code for the main entrance and your room on the day of arrival. Ten minute walk from Krakow station if you choose to take the train from the airport. Very good value

Decent sized room, not enough storage space. There is tea coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. The surfaces and floor were not the cleanest. A light in the back yard between buildings is needed. Great wee place for a stay

Overall an okay stay, these are not apartments, they are hotel rooms without daily servicing. Good for a night, the room and beds are small, if you are staying for longer I'd recommend somewhere else. Very convenient location for the old town.

We enjoyed our stay! The area is beautiful and it is within walking distance to the main old town square. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The building is older but the decor was modern and clean. We did have some issues getting into the building with the code we were given and had to call reception. There is not a front desk, check-in and check-out is done virtually.

had a glitch on arrival.
I did not receive any message on how to get in (there is no reception). Another resident explained how they received a message with a code.
after calling, they sent me a text message with a code. all good.

these are amazingly small rooms, which is fine by me. don't drop the soap in the shower, as there is not enough room to bend down and pick it up.

A lot of partyers stay here.
expect loud conversations and singing in the hallways between 3:30 AM and 4:30 when they are returning from their outings.

other than that, this was a great place with a great location1

I stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 2023 and I wasn’t too impressed.

Bad Points.
To start, I was given instruction on how to check in. They text you with a code for the main entrance and then a code for your room. I went to the room I was given and entered the code to get in. I opened the door and walked into a room that someone else was currently staying in (all of their belongings were spread out across the room and the place was a mess.) I called the customer service number and explained - it turned out that they sent me the wrong room details (which allowed me to enter the wrong locked room.) Of course this was a mistake, but ecause of this, I had no confidence in the hotel’s security and therefore didn’t risk leaving anything of value in the room. Instead I carried around everything I had.

I waited around for roughly 15 minutes and then received the correct details. Once I was in the room, I could see make up stains on the carpet and black marks on the white walls, but they weren’t really a concern.

The biggest issue I had was how well you could hear all of the other rooms. I had one room next me that was playing loud music, singing and slamming their room door all night long. On top of that, even though I had both sets of windows, the nets and the curtains all fully closed, I could constantly smell cigarettes in the room.

Good Points.
Great location and a good price. Room was also nice and modern, despite the abuse previous tourists!

A great location with great accessibility

The hotel was on a great location for what we required from our trip to Krakow. It was so close to the main square in the Old Town and only a short walk away from the train station making everywhere accessible.

The beds were super comfortable and it was lovely knowing that after a cold day exploring the city we would welcome a nice warm shower.

The apartment block itself was lovely and quiet which was very welcome after long days of early travelling.

On the whole everyone was nice and clean - some stains on the carpets although this cannot always be helped (a door mat might help reduce wet footprints etc.) and it was nice to have a try to put wet boots in after a snowy day.

We used the storage room for our luggage on arrival day however it is a good 10-15 minute walk away so somewhere closer/within the block would have been preferred.

The room was very modern and very well done. However a manual/guide for the heating/air con unit would have been great and the bathroom would often feel much cooler than the room (which can be quite a shock in the morning with the cold tiles on your feet).

Overall a lovely seat which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend it to friends and family to come and stay in the future.

Lovely, but be careful.

Lovely rooms, very comfortable. One slight issue, when we went to check-in our room wasnt ready so we were changed room. Sadly at 4am the person previously allocated that room arrived, which was distressing and interrupted the night.

Great location but that's where it ends.

Our booking was nearly cancelled because of issues with their system. Our card had the necessary funds to make the payment at all times but we were told that they could not take payment and failure to contact them within 24 hours would result in cancellation. This situation was exacerbated by them making contact by email rather than mobile as agreed. The issue was eventually resolved but we could have been left high and dry due to their system error. We then had issues with being provided with the required entry codes and had to chase them several times, before we received the information. The Aparthotel is very well positioned. Our room was very small with a complete lack of storage: 4 hangers provided for clothes and absolutely no shelving in the bathroom, so cosmetics had to be stored on the only table in the room. The TV serves only as a streaming service, there are no TV channels. There were no chairs or desk. You had to sit on the toilet at an angle otherwise your legs would be bashing into the sink. The shower enclosure was tiny. It should be stated that the room was very clean and that the fridge and kettle were welcome additions, but the fridge froze drinks. We have been to Krakow many times but have never found encountered such glaring issues with communication before. We might have arrived and faced the stress of finding fresh accommodation through no fault of our own, had we not checked our e-mails. Based on our experience, we will book elsewhere in the future.

I was given a ground-floor room facing the street, and the traffic noise was unbearable. I barely slept a wink, and the sound of cars driving over the cobblestones was the worst. The bed, which was supposed to be a single, was actually two separate mattresses pushed together, and they kept sliding apart during the night, making it incredibly uncomfortable. The shower booth was also uncomfortably small.
I will never stay here again.

Ett utmärkt lägenhetshotell med perfekt läge

Lägenhetshotellet har ett perfekt läge, nära Old Town Market och tågstation och Köpcenter. Lägenheten var fin, lagom stor, sköna sängar, litet kylskåp, och fräscht badrum. Området var lugnt och tyst.
Enkelt och bekvämt att checka in - med kod och kommunikation via SMS eller WhatsApp.
Det enda negativa var, att det inte var städning och byten av handdukar varje dag. Ville vi ha nya handdukar, så var vi tvungna att säga till om det.
Om vi återvänder till Krakow kommer vi bo här igen, återigen, perfekt läge och fin lägenhet.
Tips, missa inte att besöka puben på andra sidan gatan, en stor grön skylt som visar vägen ner till en fantastiskt mysig pub i en källare, bra musik, priser och mysig inredning.

The property is located in an amazing position in Kraków which is only 3/4 minutes far away from the main square (of course it depends from how fast you walk) which made everything much easier. The Room was really clean and they provided us with all the necessary for a 4 days staying. Moreover, it was also quite spacious.

Sentralt og enkelt til en bra pris

Pent hotellrom i et kompleks uten resepsjon og frokost-muligheter. Så hvis du kun trenger et pent og rent rom for overnatting er dette midt i blinken. Ligger 5 minutter gåtur unna torget i gamlebyen og 10 minutter unna kjøpesenteret Galeria Krakowska.
Taxi eller Bolt får man tak i nesten rett på utsiden av døren.
Vil helt klart bo her igjen ved en annen anledning.

Et lite minus at det manglet resepsjon og frokostrestaurant. Måtte gå ca 78mon imnover mot sentrum fir å spise frokost som varcfra meny og ikke buffet. Vi var innstilt på buffet så det var vi ikke helt forberedt på. Men totalt var det super beliggenhet og et flott opphold😉

Très bon hotel !

Accès simple et rapide, chambre très sympa et jolie avec juste ce qu'il faut, un lit confortable, une salle de bain plus que correcte, une télé connectée, un petit frigo etc.
En plus l'hotel est super bien situé à Cracovie, proche de la gare et du centre historique, franchement pas de quoi se plaindre !

The room was nice, but the hotel was a bit noisy. We heard all The noises from the corridor, and also the bells of the church at the night. Sightseeings, good shopping places and restaurants were nearby. We booked a room for four persons, but when we came to the hotel there was two beds only. There was a sofa-bed for two also, but the hotel hadn't made beds for us, so we had to make two beds by ourselves. The bed sheet had some stains and the pillow was really high and big on every bed. In the hotel room there was a carpeting all over the floor and it was stinky and stained. We had just a couple of little toilet paper rolls on our toilet, and they run off halfway of our visit. We asked the hotel to bring us more toilet paper, and they promised us to bring some, but they never bring any. Our reservation contained breakfast, but we didn't get any information before about where was the restaurant. There should be some kind of info on the room about breakfast and cleaning practicalities. There was no cleaning on the room at all during our visit, and we were not informed about that before or during our stay. Also there was a 550m walk to the breakfast restaurant, but the hotel staff told us it was \"next door\" when asking. There was no hotel staff or reception on the hotel, but the chat worked quite well with hotel staff. They replied to our messages in few hours usually, but we didn't get enough information about hotel practicalities beforehand.

Great hotel, but little personal service

The room is maybe the best I've ever got for this low price, and the location is great as well, a few minutes walk from Rynek Glowny.

There is no personal service, everything has to go through e-mail. They have quite a few offers for guests, but everything has to be ordered before check-in. When I tried to get hold of someone at the door there was no answer.

This hotel has no escalator.

Now that I know about their system I definetely think I will visit this hotel again!
