The hotel is a spotless Hotel Staff are fantastic Breakfast is and always fantastic as normal my disabled friend was stunned at how and is now she knows why i am retiring to Poland they even found her a disabled shower chair for he at no extra cost she is intending to come back soon with her friend unfortunately i am moving on to another place in poland which came with recommended by staff thankyou all have a Merry Christmas Take care all see you all when passing through Krakow 😀

It’s in a great location a couple of minutes walk from the main square, so it’s a bit quieter. Our adult daughter shared a room with us which was lovely and large. Breakfast offered a good choice of continental food. Staff very helpful and friendly.
If using Bolt they stop right by the hotel.

Very close to the main square ( couple of minutes walk) so a bit quieter. Our adult daughter shared a bedroom with us, bedroom was very large. Good choice of continental breakfast and fruit. We had a takeout breakfast for a morning trip ( before breakfast was being served), which was a great help.
Also if using bolt, pick up / drop off right by the hotel which was handy. Staff all lovely. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is in a great location, bordering the Old Town. It was very clean, quiet and safe. I was a bit disappointed there were no real public spaces or a bar, except the restaurant where only breakfast was served and the TV remote needed new batteries I think as I couldn't get it to work. However these are minor matters. The staff were helpful and polite.

Great hotel

Lovely hotel, close to the main square in the old town. Something to be aware of it can be noisy at times with the windows open, but this wasn’t an issue for us. The room had air con which was a bonus.
Friendly and helpful staff. They booked airport transfers and helped with booking excursions. Lunchbox was provided for trips if we missed breakfast.
The room was a good size and was kept clean, bottled water was also replenished daily and if we needed extra the hotel reception were only to happy to supply us with more. There was a great choice of foods for breakfast.
I would definitely return to this hotel again.
Close to amenities and fantastic value for money.

Lovely 3 night stay.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. We had a room at the very top of the building. Only had the lift to floor 3 then we walked one flight of stairs. No issue for us. Room was big and comfortable. Bed made everyday, but they never changed towels daily. Had issues with the safe but staff helped. We were facing the back of the hotel which is what we requested as i like it nice and quiet at night. The front faces a road and there is a few bars around it. It's about a 3 mins walk from the main square. Breakfast was good, one morning they didn't seem to restock any items and we had to ask. They will happily make you eggs and toast at request. I would definitely recommend and this would be my go to hotel for Krakow.

Very convenient, clean hotel just two blocks off the main square. Staff was very nice. Had an attic room on 4th floor. A bit snug for someone at 6 foot, but comfortable. Shower handle temps backwards (right = hot). Would definitely stay here again.

We returned here after a short excursion in another part of the country. In our first write up, we mentioned how much we liked the place, its location, the friendliness of the staff at the front desk and at breakfast…..and the great breakfast. What we weren’t as happy about was our room…different from the first one. Unfortunately for us the place was really busy so room flexibility was down to a minimum. That’s the way it goes. Other than that, it was enjoyable returning.

It was our second time in Krakow and we wanted some historical ambience as well as closeness to the centre of the old town. This hotel provided us with both. The room we had was large, comfortable and faced the back of the property, as opposed to the street, eliminating street noise. The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful and showed excellent proficiency in English. Although we’re bilingual in Polish and English, I sure the many English tourists accommodated here felt extra comfortable. Breakfast was always excellent with a wide range of items on offer and the staff very agreeable in providing special requests. We liked the hotel and its staff very much and would choose it again on return to Krakow.

Hotel Wit Stwosz a wonddrful hotel

The room was very clean and comfortable, I had a problem getting the window shades up (it was a sloped ceiling very high and needed a !ong pole to manuever) and the man at the desk helped me. Great breakfast buffet. I really appreciated the sound proof windows - very quiet. Had AC unit. My only suggestion for improvement was the shower. It's the kind that is level with floor and its nearly impossible to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor. Its dangerous.

Absolute great location for seeing the central sights of Krakow.
Our room was very spacious, clean and bright. We loved the decor ! Having two toilets was a bonus. Breakfast was great, very fresh and tasty.
it was very authentic polish cuisine. So don’t expect a standard continental or cooked breakfast.
Would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful large room. Parking was only about $8 for 24hrs. And close. Public transport was few 100 feet away just before the parking. This hotel was just inside the old town. Stepping outside the door, with in 5 minutes, you had everything, bars, clubs, restaurants, shops, and best of all, the beautiful square all lit up at night. Seemed like a dream. We had been this trip to Vienna, Budapest, Prague, but Krakow was the most beautiful city center. There is a bar, restaurant, theatre under an 11th century Tower in the square. These cave cellars are amazing.

The Hotel Wit Stwosz is perfectly located in the historic Old Town, an easy walk from the main train station. It is clean and well run, beds are comfortable, hot water is good. An amazingly good breakfast is served in the renovated cellar. On my next trip to Krakow I will unhesitatingly choose this hotel.

Booked for a 4 night stay. Hotel only a couple of minutes walk to Old Town square. Check in quick and easy with English speaking reception who were very friendly, helpful and happy to arrange a cheap taxi ride with Megataxis to wherever you may need to go a little further out. (80 zloty to airport). Room was spacious and bright on 3rd floor with large skylights and blinds in ceiling. Even though we didnt want room making up everyday we still got it unless we caught up with maid and told her not to bother. Because of early starts on 2 of our days we didnt go down to breakfast but was told we could be given a breakfast box from 6.30am each day to take with us. This was a great touch but we didnt take advantage of it as one of our trips picked us up at 5.45am. Great selection at included breakfast buffet when we did attend. Mixtures of continental meats, cheeses, yoghurts cereals etc. Fresh crusty bread, hot sausages, toasted ham and cheese sandwiches aswell as the offer of scrambled or fried eggs. Would definetely recommend this hotel for Location, cleanliness, friendliness and value for money. A great find.

A group of ten of us have just returned from a fantastic visit to Krakow. The hotel is situated in a great location, very close to the bars and shops and the main square. Despite this it was extremely quiet both during the day and at night. The rooms were outstanding. the level of service from the staff was second to none. This is without doubt one of the best hotels myself or my friends have ever stayed in. No minus points at all!

There is a reason

Why Wit Stwosz is nearly always fully booked up and that is because it is incredible value for money. We have stayed in many many Krakow hotels but Wit in these difficult times is an excellent find. From its close proximity to the Old Town square to its service levels, makes it very special. The staff are super friendly and efficient, from the Managing Director of the hotel, the reception staff and the lovely ladies in the breakfast room. The room itself was spacious, well laid out and always warm. Breakfast was delicious and varied. If you can manage to get a room booked at Wit Stwosz you will have hit the jackpot. Finally, special mention to the lady who is head of housekeeping, who looked after us so wonderfully well.

Boutique hotel in Old Town

The hotel is in Old Town a block or two away from the must-see sites in Old Town and recommended restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations and sites to see, your stay also gives you free access to St. Mary's Basilica. They have a nice breakfast in their basement restaurant. It is about a 15 minute walk to train station.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location is superb, just minutes away from market square. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The only issue I had was that the room I had faced the street and because this is so close to all the bars/restaurants, there were a lot of drunk people coming through the street, yelling and screaming throughout the night. As such, I wasn't able to get much quality sleep.
