We had a 3 night stay at The Golden Tulip Hotel City Centre, Krakow and could not have wished for a better hotel to stay at for our City break in Krakow, the hotel itself was really nice and comfortable and the rooms were ideal for couples. The staff were all pleasant and friendly and were really helpful with any questions or queries we may have had. The hotel is situated literally 5/10 minutes stroll from Krakow old town and is fantastic location for visiting the area. All in all perfect. Thank you

This was the first place I’ve stayed where the card for the door also controlled the lights and power outlets in the room. It took me awhile to figure it out. Restaurant was good menu was in English sub titles. Highly recommend. Everyone spoke English.

3 night city break

Great hotel conveniently located in a quiet part of town. A 20 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the main square.
The staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, not too busy and all you needed to set you up for the day.
No complaints about the room - not the biggest but for a long weekend break it's clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate.

This hotel was perfect for us. Easy walking distance from train station and only 7-8 minute walk to Old Town Square. The rooms were clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and fridge. Breakfast was exceptional with continental and cooked options as well as fruit, cakes, salads and jellies. All Staff were very friendly and helpful. Exceptional effort to theme the hotel for halloween.

The hotel was very nice but the bed mattress was too hard for me but then I did have a bad back at the time so might b ok for others. The breakfast was another level very extensive choice and lots of it regularly replenished. Reception staff very helpful and bar service very good. It’s also very quiet at night. Would definitely use and recommend this hotel.

My only criticism would be the beds weren’t comfortable with one cushion not a pillow and a very light weight duvet that was totally inadequate for November as it was -2 outside. We had a really lovely stay, the staff were so friendly and very helpful. Everything was very clean too. Breakfast was really nice and there was a large variety of things to have. The only thing to complain about was that we booked a room with a queen bed and we got two singles pushed together. Bit annoying but didnt ruin our experience.

Stayed here with my husband for a short weekend. Hotel is very clean and staff were very friendly. Great location as it’s only around the corner from the Main Square. My only quibble is that when we came back to the hotel in the evening the room wasn’t cleaned.

Nithing was too much trouble, able to check innearlier than planned and even tried to find us an european adapter as we'd forgotten ours. We asked for extra pillows during our stay too. Breakfast was a simple buffet type which was nice. We had a late flight and check out was noon but they stowed our bags away. The only thing that let them down was the bar wasn't open, but i think this was merely because of the pandemic.

We were checked in quickly and efficiently by Agnieta with a nice smile. Throughout our stay, she and all the others on reception were always more than helpful. Hotel is in a great location of Krakow in the atmospheric old Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. It's approximately 20 minutes walk to the old town. Hotel is located in a quiet location.

Golden Tulip Hotel

We found the location of the hotel to be really good and we were able to walk around and sightsee from here fairly easily (with the exception of the travelling trips). The room was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The hotel was a good base for us and the bonus being that we could leave our cases there after check out with having a late flight home.

This property is NOWHERE close to a 4 star hotel. The room was dark and grim, dark colours everywhere. The very high ceiling makes the room impossible to warm up, I was constantly cold. The mattress was uncomfortable so were the pillows. The breakfast was ok at best.

The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that the staff were very professional and friendly.

I am traveling a lot and would rate the property two and half stars, any Ibis style hotel is a much better choice. Would never stay here again or in any Golden Tulip properties. Avoid.

The hotel was in a quiet area very close to old town main square, a short walk and you had bars, restaurants and shops to choose from.
The staff at the hotel spoke fantastic English and someone was always on reception to answer our queries.
My partner accidentally left his passport in our room after checking out, they retrieved it for us and arranged a taxi to bring it to the airport, we are so grateful for this as wouldn’t have been able to get home.
Would throughly recommend the Golden Tulip and will definitely stay again when visiting Krakow

Really nice hotel. Great staff. Great location just a couple of minutes from the main square. Breakfast was really good and plenty to eat. Room was clean and tidy. Only slight improvement would be there was no milk for coffee and tea and you only got one tea and coffee each. But we bought some milk so not a big deal really. Great stay and lovely free cookies at the reception every day to try. Nice touch was the free flavoured water also at reception.

We stayed two nights here. The old town city center was extremely close to the hotel and made it easy to find bars and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful when our bags didn’t show up on time. They even brought them directly to our room. Would visit again.

Great hotel, ideal location and very cheap!! Snooker hall/bar right across the road, gaming bar just round the corner which also was ideal. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed directions or taxis booked or just even advice on places to go for food, drinks and tourism. Rooms were very clean and relatively modern, we had a kettle with tea and coffee in our room. Bathrooms were very well looked after and modern, they also gave us complimentary water which i thought was a nice touch. We had the breakfast included on our standard room which was well worth it! just under £100 each for 3 nights breakfast included was brilliant. The breakfast itself was very nice, a lot on offer! Quick last mention on the location as i thought it was ideal! Tram stop just round the corner, corner shop less than a minute away, old town was a 2-3 minute walk as well. Will be visiting again if i come back to Poland for sure.

We had a deluxe twin room which was excellent. The bathroom was huge and the room was very modern.

Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise with a huge conservatory to eat your food in. As well as cereals etc, there was a great selection of cheeses, hams and pates. There was also a hot selection of scrambled egg, bacon and beans. It really was lovely.

As you come out of the hotel you turn right for 20 metres, then cross the road and turn left, walk through the park and within 10 minutes you are in the main square. We had been turning right at the shop on the first day and this added another 10 minutes on.

Beware the street-facing rooms

Long story short: I got a street-facing room and It felt like I was sleeping straight on the tram tracks.

There were very mindful on providing earplugs but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to guarantee a good night of sleep.

Other than that, the whole staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was really good for what you pay, its right beside the main square where there are lots of places to eat. We loved sioux if anyone is looking for a decent place to eat! We arranged a tour of auschwitz and birkenau with escape2poland which picked us up right outside the hotel and dropped us back off. The hotel offers a great choice of breakfast in the morning and has a nice bar area for drinks in the evening. Super easy to get to from the train station, only under a pedestrian passage and through a park. We did get lost coming but that was our own fault. Hotel is also right beside the old town with alot of shops and things to see. It is in a really great location. Only thing was there was no English channels on tv except the news but not really a huge problem. Couldn't fault the hotel.

This hotel is not even near to 4 star property,single rooms with extremely small bet(better beds are in the 2 star hotel) one small pillow and something which you can not call duvet.No proper toilettes ( only liquids gel hanging on the wall)I don’t mind this kind of facility but if I know and when I paying 4 star prices I expect some basic four star standards,this hotel is no more that 2-3 start.It was my first time at this chain ,mot of the time I’m using Accor or Hilton chain,where 4 star property is a 4 star property.Brakfast very basic and staff could not cope with cleaning tables and refills.Would not recommended this hotel unless price is reduced to the level of 2 /3 star property.Is just rip off and total misleading certifications.

Just come back from a week In krakow. The hotel is in a quiet location and is about 10minutes walk to rynek square. There's a corner shop handy for snacks and restaurants 5minutes walk away. The hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
