Run away from this place! It’s overpriced, with a terrible old-fashioned design, an awful worn-out mattress that’s nowhere near any reasonable standard, a shower that doesn’t close properly, a funny-looking toilet, and zero soundproofing.
The hotel is located a bit remotely, so for me as a solo traveler it didn’t feel safe to walk in the evening.
Next to the bed there were bedside tables with night lights — basically steel candle-shaped lamps that take up all the space and blind you when turned on.
Before check-in, there were no instructions on how to find the reception. I had to circle around asking people, and eventually discovered that the reception is actually in the Garden Hotel — not obvious at all.
The staff were nice and the desk was open 24 hours, but that’s a very small compensation for all the inconveniences.

Abella Suite was not easy to find since there’s no sign in the building wall. When I call them, they didn’t answer the phone immediately and called again a couple of times. And the check in is required at another building and hotel called Yarden. Please note that it’s a different building and check in / check out should be done at the different building

Got there late. No address on the shared building. No hint you are at the right location. Even taxi driver couldn’t figure out. PROVIDE CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS REQUIRING CHECK IN AT ANOTHER LOCATION!!! Saw this same thing happen OVER and OVER again UNNECESSARILY!!!

This was not our idea of an apartment, it was just an en-suite room (though clean and comfortable) It seemed strange to have to leave the building and cross the road to another building to get our breakfast, or talk to the reception desk (no phone in room) While it was a nice room it was at the front of the building (just a few feet from the road) and there was no hope of sleep without ear plugs due to traffic and trams which started at five in the morning.

The hotel is very close to the main train station and is within an easy walk of all the main sights of the old city. The room was adequate in size and very clean. Abella Hotel was excellent. The only reason I give this experience less then perfect rating is because we traveled in the summer when it was hot and humid and there is no air conditioning but we managed okay. There is also a high volume of street noise because it is on a busy street and with better sound installation this would be perfect. HOWEVER, I would highly recommend this hotel to those traveling with kids. It is roomy and service and breakfast was flawless. (Note: breakfast is included but take what you will eat on the one pass only buffet.)

when we went it was in the mid 30es there was no air con so the room was stuffy and with the windows open very noisy there was no fridge in room to keep drinks cold, but very clean and tidy, breakfast was ok but the same every day ie: bread rolls, cold meat cheese.

The location is 10 min walk from the main square, the room we had was a junior suite which was very big and very clean. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly. The only thing to watch out for is the check-in reception is across the road at the Yarden Hotel. We waited 2 hours at the Abella for the reception to open and had to phone to be told it was across the road. Expedia should have told us on the booking form!

Right from booking our hotel we were in contact with staff to arrange our arrival time. Upon arrival we were given a choice of rooms both of which were very spacious and would comfortably fit a family of 4. I must say that the rooms were impecably clean including the bathroom. The shower facilities were also great as seemed to be a brand new power shower with endless hot water.
We were greeted by Sylvia whom throughout our stay was a pleasure and happy to help where possible, she booked our trips, gave us city guide books, directions and details for trams and tips for local restaurants. We cannot thank her enough for making our stay as easy and pleasureable as possible.
We were also pleased to find out there was a complimentary breakfast consisting of a choice of breads, fruit, fresh juice, yogourt and muesli, this would be delivered to our room at a time of our choosing.

Real value for money, we had the superior rooms for very little extra. bed v comfortable, bathroom excellent but could use better soap. Coffee etc good. Breakfast considering overall price etc very good if basic. The staff, young ladies were excellent, nothing was too much trouble.The hotel was within a comfortable stroll for the old square and easy walk from the jewish quater. There was problem that we did not want to check out on time, the receptionist said it was fine. Obviously one can get what one pays for but in this instant I think we got much more. The one draw back was for our friends who had an excellent room but on the front so were disturbed by early passing traffic. So what? one can sleep in when one gets home !.

My only serious complaint is being woken up repeatedly by other guests coming home for the night. This usualyy occurred early in the morning and the guests seemed to be loud and drunken. I suspect this is the case in every affordable hotel in Krakow.

The service was so fantastic! I arrived at 10pm, way after check in time and there was someone waiting just for me. Also, they helped me book a tour to Auschwitz the very next day, which I highly recommend. The hotel itself is so convenient because it's 10 minutes away from the train station and 10 min away from the main square.

We waren met 5 personen en deelden 1 voordeur, met daarna 2 losse appartementen. Ieder een eigen badkamer en een heel ruime slaapkamer met een 2-persoonsbed en een 2-persoonsslaapbank. Alles lekker schoon, prima handdoeken, etc. Bij 1 badkamer was de bevestiging van de douchekop een beetje wankel en deze werd de dag erna al gerepareerd (was niet door ons doorgegeven, maar door de kamermeisjes). Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Uitgebreid ontbijt met alles er op en er aan. Vervoer naar de luchthaven ook snel en goedkoop geregeld.

It's not often that I have been treated this good in a hotel before. Since the moment I came in, the personal welcomed me very nicely and polite. The rooms are cozy and well designed (we even had with four people enough space). Moreover it's rare that a hotel breakfast from this category has such diverse and delicious food selection.
