The parking is guaranteed with the hotel rental, which is one less thing to worry about. Amazing shopping mall/galleria 1/2 block away, 5min walk to the square. Pick up tours a 1/2 block away. Small hotel room but worth the price and location. Keep in mind no air conditioning if you are here in the summer you will need it !

We stayed there to visit Auschwitz museum. The property is just in front of Kracow main station where you take the bus or train for the museum directly, so it’s perfect place to choose to stay and even have a great access to the old town. Regardless of such a great location, the price of the hotel is very reasonable. I will come back here if I have a chance to be in Krakow.

My check in was tricky, the actual place does not have recepcionist, so it has to be done in other place. That place is very near but has another nane. No one told me that!

The place itself its a great location. Galeria Krakowsky (big mall) and tram/bus at walking distance. Also it’s places right behind of a big church, an excellent reference!

The bed was rather small, but that’s not a problem for me. It was the matress, which has been used by the same side forever. I turned it and it had very big spots of hongos 😵‍💫

Despite of that, everything was impecable.

This is an excellent place to explore Krakow from. It's a quiet area and the basic room is just enough for an individual. You get a single bed, and another single bed to use as some kind of a couch. The bathroom is effective and the desk is simple. No fridge/microwave etc access.
You get what you pay for: the front desk is not very accommodating (for example, apparently an extra pillow is out of the question) and some advertised amenities are either very well hidden or overstated. Overall a pretty good deal still.
Oh, don't bother the breakfast. There's an excellent bakery right across the street with much better options.

I chose this place for it's proximity to the train station as I was arriving by train from Bratislava. This place surprised my with more amenities that I had expected, there was a kitchenette which I didn't think it would have but was very handy as I was able to prepare a quick breakfast.

The reception desk is across the street, but easy to find.
The shopping center is a block away, which is really convenient with dining options and shopping.

Property is a bit old, and there was what looked like a used towel in the bathroom but we just ignored it. We stayed there for one night only.

The location was great, but when you are not able to get any rest, due to the condition of the mattress with its springs coming thru the mattress, not much else matters. Had to use a pillow under my back to cushion the effects of does horrible protruding springs.

Niestety ale dobra lokalizacja to nie wszystko

Z plusów: bliskość dworca, sklepów i centrum miasta
Lista minusów będzie dłuższa:
-brak recepcji, brak obsługi
-brudna i zagrzybiała łazienka, nawet dozownik mydła się lepił od brudu
-bardzo niewygodne łóżka
-zamiast jednego łóżka, dwa małe złączone ze sobą. To jeszcze nie problem ale jedno było minimalnie wyższe od drugiego przez co praktycznie nie da sie spac w dwie osoby.
Łóżka się rozsuwały i była duża przestrzeń między nimi.
-poplamiony materac
-telewizor niewiele większy od tableta
-dostępne tylko kanały TVP
-ściany tak cienkie, że słyszałam wszystko co sie działo za ścianą. W hotelu nie ma obsługi/ recepcji więc było głośno
-cena porażająco wysoko jak za tak niski standard

Practical for basic needs

The stay at Maly was less than satisfactory,

The positive points:
very close to the Shopping and Old City districts of Krakow, the basic kitchen is a bonus,and the Aparthotel is all on 1 level with good parking, and some of the Staff Members were helpful to our requests.

The negative points: the decor is worn and very tired and the cleanliness is not 100%, the floors could be wet washed a little more thoroughly and the kitchen cutlery needed to be washed before we used them, and the beds were very uncomfortable, the mattresses were very soft and the triple room we stayed in was very tight and not very roomy even for 2 people let alone 3

We would come back if the Hotel was updated to a more contemporary level.

I had a very spacious room. The staff were welcoming and helpful. There was a coffee machine and water in the hallway, and a good breakfast I paid for in advance at a hotel very close by. For a one night stay I have no complaints, and it was close to the station.

There was no air conditioning although fans are provided in rooms.
No restuarant for breakfast instead brrakfast is served in cafe across from hotel.
Whèn checking out we were advised that we owed money for a tour we had bookef - this was not the case as we had paid for trip in cash - guy behind reception was very nics about it but insisted there was no record of payment. We left our cases and on return to collect, we asked about the payment which he said had been 'found' - recorded undef another guest's name! Left a bit of a sour end to an otherwise enjoyable stay at a cosy little hotel.

Fantastic location for visiting all the major areas. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, giving us lots of information including tram and bus times and also relevant tram/bus numbers and stops. Nothing was to much trouble for them. The rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable, ideal for a 3-4 day break. We couldn’t have wished for a more ideal place to stay while sightseeing in Krakow. The hotel is single storey, which made it very quiet and peaceful. I recommend this hotel if you want a good clean friendly hotel to use as a base. No point in paying for a hotel with facilities we had no intention of using.

Rooms are smaller than expected, very little storage space for clothing.

Great location! Only complaint: the coffee at the “free” breakfast across the street is awful. Plus they only have one slow toaster- so annoying waiting while your eggs get cold.
Bed was comfy, bath clean, plenty of hot water, nice snacks in lobby. Good price, I’m coming back 😊

Convenient hotel in Krakow

We needed a convenient hotel for an overnight stay whilst in transit. The Hotel is very close to the station/coach station, the town centre and the biggest shopping mall. We had a good room with kitchenette facilities. There was an excellent breakfast across the road. The hotel had good security. We found good restaurants nearby. I would use it again and for a longer stay.

Good location for the old town

The room was clean and tidy but the bed was crammed into a corner with no space at either side. Breakfast was at a hotel across the road. It was fairly good. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked adequate. This is basic accommodation suitable for a short stay. Location its main attraction.

One step above a hostel .....

We stayed here on 11/19th & 20th (2017). We selected this location as it was extremely close to Krakow Glowny (Main Train Station). We knew from the pictures that the rooms were small and out of date. That is not our complaint. Our complaint was that we had no heat on the first night and when addressed with the front desk - nothing could be done. The people next to us (again, hostel clientele) were very loud and again, no help. The biggest complaint was that the radiators knocked all night despite no heat was coming out. Try sleeping next to the radiator (~ 18\" away) with frequnet knocking. As in above, there was nothing that the staff could do. I have a video, which is not allowed on Hotels.com, for 63 seconds - 46 clicks that I could hear recorded on our phone. The gap between the radiator & bed is attached.

I've learned my lesson and not to stay in cheap places. They cut corners in the wrong places. We stayed elsewhere on the second night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided a useful guide and map of Krakow on arrival. The hotel was easy to find as it was very close to the modern main train station/shopping centre. Krakow is one of the prettiest cities I have ever visited with plenty of history. Sadly I was only there for the weekend so did not have enough time to visit some of the attractions but I would come back. The local people and staff in restaurants/shops were very polite and friendly and although you had to be patient with the length of time to be served or food to be delivered. The service you did receive and food was second to none and worth the wait. There are plenty of guided tours of the city with many ways to travel either by one of the many horse drawn carriages or on foot. I would recommend Krakow as either a short weekend break or a week, I was very impressed.

1- twin bed and they don't have double bed for couple so its for retirement people.
2- its one floor and no AC required so they use ventilation fan that's mean with noise all the night because it was so hot and if you open the windows insects will visit you.
3- cleanest should be the first requirements because the floor all our stay it was without cleaners.
4- breakfast outside the hotel and after 8:30 am no food

Good choice for a comfortable and affordable stay

This was our first stay in this hotel and we stayed for three nights. The location of this hotel is great; it is located within walking distance of both the train station and the historic town center. There is also a shopping mall within a few steps which is very convenient. The front desk staff is friendly and can assist you with bookings or other visitor information. This hotel is not a luxurious hotel but it is clean, in good condition, and comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again the next time we visit Krakow.

Very central hotel. Five minute walk from train station, if you arrive on plane just catch the train from there to Kraków glowny for 9pzl. Takes about 25 mins.the train station also has many shops and is like a Westfield at home in Australia so we managed to get our daily supply of nibbles from Carrefour supermarket. Easy ten minute walk from hotel to central market area, where daily food stalls are set up so a variety of delicious food to eat. Easy walk to sights everywhere. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Room consisted of two single beds which were quite small for us tall Aussies but they did the job as we would get in late and only for sleeping. There is a cold water machine in reception so could fill up water bottles regularly. Room also had jug and shampoo and lotion. Quiet room and hotel. Fre wifi worked well except you had to keep logging in constantly. We didn't have the breakfast there as lots of bakeries around and very cheap. One across the road sold good coffee and sweet and savoury.

The hotel is a decent location to the station and main sq. The reception staff are unapproachable, unhelpful and ignorant, and it put us off asking recommendations for really good local cuisine. the rooms are really noisy and the bed is uncomfortable, it squeeked when you breathed in the same room.

The only good thing

It is close to everything. But wifi didn't work half the time , and no ac, and shower leaked all over floor , no face cloths . Very very small room, noisy outside when other people are coming back at nite , as we were right by front door.
The pillows were Giants and very uncomfortable , way to big.

Best placed and homely feel

The reception staff are fantastic and mostly friendly, the location is perfectly situated on the outskirts of the old town and across the road from the city's main train station, and the price cannot be beaten for comfort and facilities. I really loved staying there. It was refreshing from some less-than-ideal experiences elsewhere in Europe.

Nice hotel close to the Krakow Glowny station

Great hotel. Location is the greatest feature. Rooms were clean and included kitchen :). Near a local Polish market. Because the location is so convenient you just walk to Bus terminal at Krakow Glowny and take D8 for Auswhitz. Or take train to Wieliczka Rynek for the salt mines. Much cheaper than orgsnised tour. Friendly staff. Wife satsified with the cleanliness of bathroom.

clean rooms with 2 ring hob, fridge, kettle and enough crockery ect for occupants making it good if you're young ones don't like local cuisine. only down side was the deliveries at silly o'clock (5-8am) and drivers chatting as they worked, we were in room 1 right but friend in 12 had no problems so ask for rooms 6 and up if you don't want a rude awakening. Staff were very helpful rooms were clean and warm altho we did have to open the window and turn heating down as it was 14degs early Feb when we were there.

Great hotel near the main square in Krakow. The only minor things to say are that the room was a bit too hot, but we turned the radiator off during the night, and the shower went cold quite quickly. But these things wouldn't stop me from staying here again in the future. Thanks for a very enjoyable weekend!

This place is great! Kitchenette for keeping food and beer, coffee and tea in the room were nice as well. The room was plenty big for myself. It was the size of a New York hotel room and suited me perfectly.

Location, location, location. There was a liquor store across the street, a mall down the other end of the street, the trainstation is a block away and a grocery store is also a block away. Old Town is a super short two/three block walk. I really loved this little hotel.

Overall,very good accommodations. Just a couple of complaints. The room was stuffy and warm at night. Small fan brings little relief. The heavy duvet on each bed provides only cover. Could use just a sheet. Secondly, the desk clerk on one evening had little information or help to offer on where to dine and how to contact airline to reconfirm flight reservations.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. It is not a luxury hotel, but if, like us, you don't luxury, it's a great place to stay. It's located very close to the main train station and the adjacent new mall. Also, it's within walking distance, even for us seniors, of the main Old Town square.

Centrally located reasonably priced hotel

Overall pleasant. The location is excellent, the room comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful. A decent breakfast is served in a hotel across the street.

Cheap hotel next to the Center

No fridge no kitchen corner no AC
Same bed sheets for 5 nights
No housekeeping unless you ask for it
Terrible nights due to noisy drunk hosts that could not be calmed down by staff.

Perfect hotel at a convenient location

Hotel is perfect with location close to central. Train station ; however room is super small, can't fit for 3 adults. For breakfast, staff gave wrong direction (red brick restaurant w/ yellow sign) made us couldn't find the place the first day . 2nd day, she said the same thing, when we told her we couldn't find it the 1st time. She replied ;\"I don't know because I never been there\"
Also room is extremely small, it's inconvenient

Our stay with Aparthotel Maly Krakow was perfect. Since we were city-hopping through train rides, it was ideal to stay near the train station. But what's even nicer is that the train station is right next to a mall, which had everything you need (i.e. foreign exchange, grocery if you wanna cook, etc.), and a bus station which connects you to different places. It's also a good walking distance from the Old Town. Also, if you wanna visit the salt mines, the bus terminal is just in front of the hotel compound.

The staff were also very helpful; they give you a map and they try to answer your questions. They're only a bit reserved in giving restaurant suggestions. Good thing there's Yelp and Trip Advisor. Lol

But yeah, I would totally recommend this place!

Nice Hotel in a Nice Area on the edge of Old Town

Got a taxi from airport (89 PLN set price) & arrived at 1pm to ask if we could drop our bags, they said no problem, but on checking with cleaners they found us a room ready, so even better! We got a room with small kitchenette (11 of the 16 have them I think) which was useful for fridge and kettle (as eating out is so cheap you won't need to cook anyway). Aparthotel is at the top of an impressive square above the Barbican Keep building, set back from the road next to the church grounds so no road noise, but with the large Galleria shopping centre 200 metres away and a bakery even closer civilisation is very close by. Also below the Galleria is the main railway station so if you don't want to go on organised trips with hotel pick ups you can do your own thing with trains/trams/buses. If you have Breakfast you take a voucher across the road to their sister hotel and it's a continental meat/cheese/bread/cereals/fruit salad buffet, very nice and plenty of choice good coffee and teas too (frankfurters and scrambled egg not so good!). Trip to Salt Mines was very good, we choose to be picked up from hotel on organised trip but you can get there by bus or train, we did the tourist tour which means walking down a few hundred steps and them 2km underground, although you do get to come up in a lift at the end. We also went to a classical concert in St Peter & St Paul's Church which was lovely(they do them most evenings). Overall Krakow was very interesting and we would go back anytime.

Nice friendly staff from day one

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to shopping centre and train station to take you straight to auschwitz. Also close to market square which has lots of restaurants, bars and clubs

Fantastic Hotel

Hadn't been expecting much but the hotel was fantastic. It had everything you could possibly need. The hotel was ideally located and the staff in the hotel were friendly. We booked a tour from a gentleman on the check in desk and he arranged everything for us with no problem and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel.
