Loved thus hitel. 10 minutes to the main square. The staff were all extremely accommodating and i had a botyle of prosecc in my room as i was 50 the week before.
The woom was extremely clean and the shower was fantastic and powerful.
Excellent continental breakfast choices.
The only slight negative unfortunately was the matress kept on sliding off the bed during the night.
Would definitely recommend and will stay here again

great experience - travelled solo and felt very safe - this is not traditional hotel so if arriving after 8 pm make sure to respond to their email regarding check in time so they know to send you instructions to access the room as the reception area closes at 8 pm

good location to walk to old town, on good bus route and walking distance to the train station.

Room was spotlessly clean, was small but had everything I needed

They served really nice breakfast with good coffee and they even provided me with packed breakfast/lunch bag when I was leaving early for a tour and that was really nice

Really enjoyed my stay here. The area is right on the edge of the centre of town and so is ideal for any traveller. The staff were superb and the instructions to access the property, after check-in had closed, were brilliant. It is a traditional Polish hotel and gives you everything you could possibly need, at a very competitive price

Kosmopolita, great value and helpful hotel

Our stay at Kosmopolita rooms was brilliant, they were so helpful throughout. I highly recommend the hotel.

It was close to the beautiful old town but far enough away so it wasn't really busy.

I can't say enough how helpful the staff were, they booked us taxis without hesitation.
Very competent people.

The only downside is that the breakfast dining room is too small. It was cramped at times.

The apartment was located approx 15mins walk from Krakow market place.
There was a mini kitchen with fridge sink and dual hot plate but we only used the fridge.
There are number of nearby restaurants serving typical polish cuisine 5 mins walk away in Slowkowska street.
Breakfast is available in the hotel and it is a buffet style breakfast. Small bread rolls, meat slices , cheese,cereals, yoghurts etc and pastries the type change daily.
If you want to arrive by train, the main Krakow station is approx 15 min walk in the Galeria Krakowska shopping mall.
If you arrive after 8pm make sure you tell Kosmopolita and they can give you a code for the entry door

First of all the hotel was very reasonably priced and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can walk to the train station and to the old town easily. There wasn't so much noise from the street that was described in the previous reviews. The bathroom wasn't super new but it was ok and it was good to have towels packed. You should consider the amount you paid. The cups, glasses in the breakfast room can be cleaner. Overall I recommend this hotel 👍

Room was at front of building so constant noise until about 0300 in the morning.
Asked for room to be serviced as we were there for 7 days. Towels replaced but bed sheets were not.

Floor tiles in bathroom cracked and a large crack in the bathroom sink including electric sockets hanging off the wall.

After the 3rd day we stopped going down for breakfast and just went down town as breakfast was not very good.

It served a purpose but overall very disappointed.

Omyłkowo zapłaciliśmy za śniadanie, a z racji tego, że jesteśmy na diecie wegańskiej (bez produktów odzwierzęcych), pogodziliśmy się że stratą pieniędzy. Rano jednak czekała na nas niespodzianka w postaci świeżo przygotowanego śniadania z produktami kupionymi specjalnie dla nas - ogromny plus dla obsługi hotelu za zrobienie czegoś, czego wcale nie musieli robić, gdyż zapłacenie za śniadanie to był nasz błąd.
Kolejnym plusem jest oczywiście lokalizacja, a ponadto czystość, estetyka oraz ekologiczność hotelu.
Pobyt oceniamy 10/10 i na pewno jeszcze tam wrócimy.
Pozdrawiamy serdecznie wszystkich pracowników i dziękujemy za tak profesjonalne i życzliwe zachowanie ❤️

Location Location we were able to walk right from the train station maybe 15 mins that made it easy and the town square is just 15 mins from the hotel so to us it was the perfect location. The front staff was so helpful i had wallet and phone stolen days before so when we can to check in they allowed me to use the computer to print up info and get myself organized again. The rooms are really big we had 3 people with tons of room. The breakfast was really good and lots of it and tons of choices everyone was happy. We had a room on the street it was busy with traffic of people, horses and carriages at night and buses but we actually enjoyed all the sites and sounds.

Hotel within walking distance of main sights and restaurants. Our room was quiet and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about trips and arranged them. The airport transfers arranged by them were very efficient. Only negative was no aircon but was a fan to use. Would recommend this hotel and will have no hesitation in staying there again.

Guest rooms Kosmoplita suited us down to the ground...the location is literally perfect.. a 10 minute walk to Main Square. The room was nice...4 single beds, table and chairs, 2 wardrobes.
We initially couldn't find the entrance as it's just a little door that can be easily missed and also don't be put off by the entrance..once upstairs and inside it's nice.
We were right next to the breakfast room which was handy as we only had to go next door. There was plenty of choice and set you up for the day.
Would stay here again if I go back to Poland .

The property is a short walk from the main square in the old town, with a tram/bus stop just up the road meaning you can get anywhere in the city relatively easily. The main shopping centre is a 15 min walk which also contains the main train station for the city.
You can book tours to places via the reception desk and the staff are happy to help with suggestions for places to eat in an evening, the young lady even helped me track down a restaurant that served a certain thing I had been told to try by my sister in law.

The hotel was in a perfect location, ten minutes walking distance from the main train/bus station and the Main Square. Small grocery stores were right next down and the tram stop was nearby. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel itself was beautiful, spacious, and offered a pleasant breakfast. The only downside is there is no AC so be sure to ask for a fan as the rooms are quite stifling in the summer. I would still highly recommend Kosmopolita for anyone looking to stay in Krakow.

Generally, the hotel was good. The location was just north of the Old Town, and a 7 minute walk away, but to then walk on to Schindler's Museum for example was a good 50 minutes.
There were corner shops nearby.
I had requested a room at the back of the property to be quiet away from the trams, but I have to say that the hotel clicked on a type of generator, or used the back of the hotel for staff to set up for breakfast. it was actually really loud from about 6am.
The rooms weren't cleaned during our stay, in terms of the floor, or the bathroom, or the worktops / cups etc, but the towels were changed once we'd left them on the floor. I do think the room needed to be cleaned even if it was every other day.
Also, it would be nice if there could be a seating area, similar to a lobby, whereby people could relax somewhere but not in their rooms, whilst waiting for a taxi or tours for example.
However, if an early start isn't an issue, the hotel is adequate and the breakfast was absolutely amazing - a very thorough continental breakfast.

Nice Hotel, Convenient location.

Very enjoyable 4 day break. Hotel is in a Good location. City Square within 10 minute walk with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops.
Hotel arranged a sightseeing tour to Auschwitz - Birkenau and Saltmines which we would highly recommend. But be warned, there are many, many steps down to the Saltmines, which we were not warned about by our guide, prior to the start of the tour. However, perhaps a little more research on our part would have been beneficial in this regard. There was a lift to take us back to the surface though. :)
Food, drink and taxi's very cheap. People very friendly and honest. One of our party lost his wallet containing a substantial amount of cash(Polish and Sterling) but this was returned to him the following day having been handed in by someone in the bar he had been drinking in. All the money and cards were still in it!

Arrived at this hotel at 12.30am and to our horror we could not gain access door was locked and no answer from reception. Only for a passing taxi driver who came to our rescue and took us to another Hotel to stay the night. Arrived at the Kosmopolita the next morning smell of damp disgusting room hadn’t even room to turn. Never cleaned or fresh towels the whole stay and generator ran the whole night and the noise from it was horrendous so no sleep at all! All in all the worst hotel ever stayed in my life!

Room is clean and comfortable, if traveling in warm weather keep in mind it does not have air conditioning, however they do have fans available. My room had street noise from the tram, but other rooms at the hotel are on the off street. Helpful and friendly staff and breakfast is included so it was a great value. It's in a great location to get to the town square.

Cost-effective place to stay in a central location

If you can get past the 1970's decor of the room and are on a budget and wanting somewhere to stay in a central location then this is a good option. The staff were good but the rooms at the front of the hotel were hot and noisy. My curtains didn't meet in the middle, and that, coupled with the noise from the tram line right outside, meant I had to put a pillow over my head to block out the light and the noise and get some sleep. but you get what you pay for.The breakfasts were good and the staff were excellent.

Excellent location- 15 minute easy walk to Market Square. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Room was basic, small but clean. Staff friendly. Neighbourhood was safe and had interesting shops. Would stay again.

Enjoyable stay

The location was about 5-10 minutes walk to the old market square. Really easy to find. The reception staff spoke really good English and was able to explain things well. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with a good variety. Our room was opposite the reception area though so was a little bit noisy at times. Would stay there again though.
