Excellent hotel with garden

Hotel is well located and has got a nice little garden which is rare in the city- our child was delighed with swings and garden space. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Nice selection of Polish specialities, lovely bluberry brioche cake (ciasto z jagodami), so close to the market. 24h reveption. Water machine in the hallway was very handy!
We had a double and our daugher a single bed, very comfortable. Nice garden view.
Excellent if you need to walk to train station.
Lots of small shops around till 11pm.
We will stay again!

Hotel was in a great location for Old town Krakow,easywalking distance.
Rooms alittle small but contained everything needed, we had a nice balcony overlooking the garden, what a pleasure, quiet at night.
Breakfast was excellent, selection varied slightly each day unlimited buffet offering eberything you'd need.
Luggage storage when we'd checked out but still awaiting flight.
Only issue TV lost channels, wouldn't work but when reported receptionist was dismissive to the point of not bothering. \"These things happen\"
luckily a small thing, no news etc.

3 days stay, small room but clean and with all necessity (hair dryer, coffee/tea/water boiler). Good location, walking distance to central. Nice breakfast with standard western varieties. Good if they can include hand soap and 2 single beds for non-couple (mother & son) which I forgotten to request during booking. Nonetheless, still a great aparthotel to stay.

Had to check out of this dump after just one night

We got fooled by great reviews and good price, so booked it for thee nights and regretted it as soon as we checked in. Looks like a Soviet-style dump with bad furniture. Even hostels have more elegance than this “hotel”. Old furniture, a hole in the sheets and unfinished toilet paper roll from previous guests. We moved out right after one night and lost money for the other two nights. But couldn’t stay at this “hotel” for even one more hour. Buyer beware.

The Yarden was in a good location with an easy stroll in to town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Any issues we raised were dealt with immediately. They were always ready to book trips, order taxis or give advice. We arrived early but as the room was ready checked in immediately. Our room was simple but clean which is all we needed.

When I see the word “aparthotel” I think of a place with units having apartment-like features, but also having hotel services like a reception and breakfast. They might have some units that are apartments, but I had a small hotel room and I’m pretty sure there were no pictures of it on the booking site.

That said, it was a correct value for money, the staff were nice and parking for 12 € / day is good for this close to the center.

Two big negatives were no fridge and the internet works, but has breakages. I was there 5 nights and I experienced that throughout my stay.

The hotel was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. The only thing we had an issue with was that the bed was very difficult to get in and out of because of the sloping attic roof. The noise of the traffic was also very loud but we were expecting that from reviews, they could do with added insulation. There are various small shops surrounding the hotel where you can pick up snacks etc but it was disappointing that there were no restaurants/bars in the immediate vacinity but it is well situated to get to the main square (10 minutes walk) and surrounding areas.

15 minute walk from bus and rail station, shopping mall. 20 minutes to Old Town where most of tourist spots, bars etc. are. Room was comfortable and I was very pleased to find a bottle opener provided along with kettle and a fan. Reception is 24 hours and staff always polite. Enjoyed buffet breakfast in pleasant garden. All in all everything I needed for a pleasant stay in Krakow. The city itself we were all very impressed with and I plan to return.

Some double rooms are a bit small for 2 people but if you are on a budget I wouldn't see it as a deal beaker as overall it's a very good hotel. Best positions are rooms at the back (garden room) quieter. 10 minute walk to the centre. Mini supermarkets nearby. Excellent staff. Very clean. Breakfast pretty good but with typically fatty bacon and strange scrambled egg - good otherwise. Would definately stay here again in Spring.

Liked the hotel and location. Staff efficient and friendly. Problem was the room was quite tiny, not like the pics at all. The bathroom was ok but the shower small and difficult to shower as my elbow kept knocking the lever onto scald mode! Dangerous for older people and kids if you can’t gwt out the way fast. Ok for the money though. Breakfast was alright for £7 though limited hot choice. Good hotel but room size let’s it down.

Could not fault this hotel and staff

We had never been to Poland before so had no experience, only city recommend from a friend. This hotel was on Expedia site with good reviews. The hotel was easy to find ideally situated with tram stops right outside, city centre five to ten mins flat walk. Trams were a bit noisy (they start at five) but we felt it added to the character it didn't bother us. The buffet breakfast was good, varied and plentiful. Helpful friendly staff (English speaking) excellent hotel all round. Would definitely stay here again.

A short break in Kraków

We booked through ebookers flying from Glasgow to Kraków with Ryanair from Sunday the 5th of November 2017 till Wednesday the 8th of November staying in a lovely clean hotel called The Yarden Aparthotel which we couldn't fault in any way.
The trip cost us £101:04 each excellent for a flight with two lovely rooms for three nights in a lovely spotless hotel with an exceptional breakfast which is served from 07:00 - 11:00 am we will certainly book with this company in future.

Great break, amazing city, hotel was really central, about 8 minutes walk to main square. Plenty restaurants & bars on way to square. Rooms small but sufficient, spotlessly clean & serviced every day. Reception really helpful & obliging ! Breakfast was really great, we never had lunch as the breakfast set us up for the day !
Lovely garden area outside breakfast room. Would have liked a bigger room but it wasn't really important as we spent little time in it. Small supermarket 2 doors up. Receptionists booked whichever tours we wanted, no bother. Really enjoyed it & this hotel was great for the small amount we paid !! Tours were all amazing & the city was beautiful, loved it !!

We had a room overlooking the main road at the front of the hotel...it was a little noisy with the trams , which run right outside the hotel, they run regularly until late at night.
On the plus side the hotel is only 10-15 mins walk from the train station and offers a wide choice of food at the free buffet breakfast.

Good place close to market square

We didn't need luxury, but definitely wanted a comfortable, clean, safe place near the middle of the city. (We would be out sightseeing most of the time.) Yarden Aparthotel fit our needs perfectly. Moreover, the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. Neat old wide staircase; hallways feel open and airy. The serve breakfast in a bright wonderful spot that includes an outside yard. And they continue serving until 11:00 a.m. Loved the view of the old, ornate buildings across the street. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for 5 nights and found the hotel very easy to get to from main railway station.
Staff were all very nice and extremely helpful.
The room although not the biggest was nice and clean with a powerful shower and daily housekeeping.
The wifi was the best I have had at any hotel with no dropping of signal at all.
The breakfast is also worth mentioning as it was very fresh with plenty of choice,also the opportunity to sit in the garden to eat which was nice.
Would definitely stay there again when we next visit Krakow.

Good base for exploring Krakow

This was a great base for exploring Krakow. It's a 10 minute walk to the main square and a15 minute walk to the train station which makes it ideal. There is free wifi throughout the hotel. We had a room on the top floor (floor 4) and there is a lift to all floors. Our room was an attic room but it was still spacious. The room was made up each day with clean towels. The breakfast was good with a range of cereals, pastries, cold meats, bacon, scrambled egg etc. something for everyone I'd say. Other reviews have complained of noise - I didn't hear a thing.

I took a night train to Krakow. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. After I came back to the hotel from the next-day salt mine tour, they even helped keep my luggage for a while so that I could walk around in the old town. Nice and friendly service!

Great place to stay for a short break, only 10 mins walk to the old town and square.
Breakfast is a large selection of different food, buffet style, and is an ideal start to the day, serving until late.
The only draw back could be getting a small attic room but even then the rooms are comfortable and clean with the room tended to every day.
It is on the main road and if you get a front facing room it can be noisy as the trams rumble past but to be honest you soon get used to it.
Staff are friendly and I will no doubt go back to the Yarden if returning to krakow.

Great find if a little small!

This is a great hotel just on outskirts of Old Town but close enough to walk in. Just a couple of things to point out, are that rooms are very small and no drawer space and showers run hot then cold! But these are minor points as, for what we paid this hotel, it is fantastically good value

Just got back from this hotel after a 4 night stay. It is in a good location about a 7/8 minutes walk to old town main square, which is very easy to find as it is out the hotel turn left and straight on. The double room was quite small but still had enough room for two people, the shower was very powerful. The maids kept the room very clean and provided fresh towels daily. You can book trips at the hotel although I would recommend booking these in town as they are a little bit cheaper.

The hotel staff were really friendly and always on hand 24/7. Upon arrival the man behind reception booked our taxi for the airport and that was all sorted immediately. Breakfast was included and was very nice - a selection of hot and cold foods.

Would definitely come back to this hotel when next visiting Krakow.

Ask for a courtyard room. The street is very noisy if the window is open. The room is small but clean and nice. The staff does everything you want. The Wifi often is weak or does not work. The breakfast is okay, but not worth the extra price. We easily walked to the town square from the hotel.

Peaceful hotel not far from the Main Square

This is an excellent hotel! Staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My room was clean and everything I needed was there to stay the first night. I felt safe as a lone female traveller and noticed how peaceful it was every night, so sleep was easy! The breakfast was varied with hot and cold food from the buffet - eat as much as you like! On mornings I didn't have much time, I could easily make a bite to eat on my walk and a coffee or tea in a disposable cup, with lid. I'd highly recommend this hotel, especially if you want a base to explore from and a good nights sleep on your return. Restaurant food was tasty and well presented and the staff were not intrusive but very keen to give an excellent service.

The Yardin Staff were helpful with check-in and check-out. Also, were very good giving directions to various tourist attractions. Breakfast was adequate, the scrambled eggs need work. Our room was clean and had fresh towels every day. Unfortunately as we were at the front of the hotel it was very noisy through the night. We did ask to be moved but unfortunately there was nothing available until the day before we were leaving.

The location of the hotel was well suited to seeing the historic sights of
the old town and Jewish Quarter. In addition, restaurants were very accessible.

Lovely welcome when we got to the hotel, they even rang through to our tour operator to arrange pick up for the next day for our visit to Auschwitz. Room very nice & lovely and clean with the 2 bathrooms what we were expecting. Breakfast was served in the adjoining restaurant and was very nice. On leaving we found a small gift of cookies hanging on our room door which was a nice touch. They looked after our bags whilst we spent our last couple of hours looking around before leaving. Lovely late checkout time of noon so we could take our time packing etc......10 out of 10 from us & if we ever return we will definitely use your hotel again :)

Everything about this hotel was just what we needed for a great four day stay in Kraków. Good value for money. Clean, comfortable and attractive rooms. Lovely garden in the middle,of the city. Lounge area, waiting area helpful staff. Breakfast was self serve with a good choice of fresh fruit, continental style breakfast and usually a hot choice as well. All this and only a ten minute walk to the centre of Kraków. A beautiful city to visit.

We spent 11 days at the hotel exploring Krakow. It is an easy 10 walk to the city centre which is through the Krakow wedding dress district! The room was on the small side, but did have a balcony looking out on a garden. We organised our own stay and activities and the staff helped out a couple of times with advice on using the buses.

Ok stay for a short holiday

The Yarden Hotel is in an accessible area close to the city center. The staff were amicable and approachable. The breakfast was good, but seating was extremely limited. The one upsetting event was that the elevator was not working the whole time we were there. We were on the 4th floor and had luggage to carry. We were told every day that the elevator would be repaired but it never was. At the end of our 2 night stay we were given a small box of chocolates as an apology for the elevator being broken. The staff helped us bring up luggage on both check in and check out days but it was just very inconvenient. Overall, the room was clean and okay for such a brief stay. We had a triple with 3 single beds. I would stay there again but would try to inquire about the elevator ahead of time. It felt like the elevator is just broken and they don't really intend to fix it.

Cannot fault! We had a perfect stay.

Our stay was flawless, I really can only think of one fault- the room was slightly too small; but even then it was completely acceptable for the price we paid. The hotel was perfectly located, the only problem being that we expected the hotel to be in between number 34 and 36 on the street- eventually we found it. It's close to a supermarket and other restaurants and attractions. The reception staff were very helpful and printed us off information, maps and tickets, they also spoke perfect English. We were particularly impressed by the male receptionist who seemed to be working all the time, his name escapes me but he was fantastic. Breakfast was OK, I imagine others would have an issue with the lack of variety but for what we paid we were happy. Our rooms were cleaned perfectly and were so nice to return to after a long day. Again I really cannot find much fault in this hotel, we went away having highly enjoyed our stay in Krakow and have memories for a lifetime!

A little high on price for amenities.

Only stayed one night since they were charging double for new years eve (chose them only for availability). Moved on to another hotel for the next two nights. Hotel was nice but not for the price they were charging. Location was nice as well. 10 minute walk to center of old town.

Great hotel with amazing service!..

We stayed here for 4 nights and it could not have been better. We arrived a little early in Krakow and they were able to check us in early morning. The rooms were of decent size, very clean and very well maintained. The maid service was so awesome that they would even fold your clothes left on the bed. Just the best hotel in the price range. After we checked out, there was a lounge downstairs for us to hang out till it was time for our train. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Good hotel close to centre.

Hotel 10 minute walk from main square. Friendly and helpful staff. Ability to arrange trips to places of interest, salt mine, Auschwitz, Schindler factory.
Pleasent Buffett breakfast ( room small does get busy at times).
Good hotel as a base.

Don't judge the book by its cover !

Booked the Yarden based on the reviews & was spot on ! From the outside its not pretty but inside its modern and VERY clean !
Rooms, free tea, coffee, water & wifi. Basic but comfortable & again CLEAN !
Staff were great, helpful, cheerful, attentive.
The road at the front of the hotel is quite busy/noisey at night (you can close the window) but the hotel rear is quite & pleasant. 5-7 min walk to town square etc.. Or trams outside front door.
I would definately use & recommend the Yarden again.

Great Place To Stay in Krakow

My only wish is that I could have stayed longer at The Yarden Aparthotel in Krakowl. Everything about this hotel, in my opinion, was top notch. The hotel was very clean, comfortable,and the rate was very fair. Additionally, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. And... breakfast is included. This hotel is very charming and nicely located in The Old Town district a short distance from the Krakow train station. I highly recommend it.

Nice Hotel in a good location

3 night stay in Krakow. Hotel very nice. 10 minute walk from Old Town and 15 minutes from the bus station. Had a room at the back which was very quiet. We had the window open at night and were not woken by any noise. Although the room was small it was very clean and more than adequate.

What is an upgrade worth?

I chosed to pay some extra money to get an \"upgraded\" room. We got a room slightly bigger than a goldfish bowl ! On question why we did not get value for our extra money, the answer were, that the upgrade was a view to the garden, which in fact was a parking lot ! I am very disappointed, and will not trust this hotel again. The room were clean, the breakfast all right, and the staff o.k. But I felt completely fooled by getting a very small room, and no money back ! I wonder what room we would get if I had not paid for an upgrade ? No, I will not use The Yarden again.

Convenient location

I traveled with my daughter and the hotel had a convenient location in between the Glowny international/regional train/bus station and the old town, like 10 min walking distance to both places. The hot breakfast at the hotel was very good to start a long day. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and let us stay in the same room even when we booked another night at the last minute because the night train to Prague was all booked. Ladies: there's little stores along the street with nice shoes and dresses at GOOD prices. The rooms facing the street might be noisy but it's in a safe neighborhood, with common sense precautions of course. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there if I go to Krakow again, beautiful city!

Great staff, but claustrophobic rooms.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the location of the hotel is convenient to attractions. The rooms we were given, however, were smaller than most walk-in closets -- very claustrophobic. The amenities were adequate but nothing special. Overall, a disappointment.

Great Hotel 10 mins from main square

We have just spent 3 nights in the Yarden Aparthotel. The staff are very helpful, the Hotel and rooms very clean and has a lovely garden at the rear. The breakfast was good plenty to choose from. I would definitely stay there again.
