We have recently stayed in this amazing hotel. This is a very lovely hotel,located on the Vistula river bank ,has an amazing view of the rivwr from tehir Vanila restaurant. They had excellent selection of breakfast items with a great quality of coffee.
All the staff was very helpful including Justin and Piotr.They have a kids play area which my little one loved most ❤️

Prices from this hotel had gone up and up, but quality of the breakfast went done, also staff in the breakfast/restaurant was so unfriendly, not a \"good morning\" from the young staff. The just pretty much talk to you to ask room number.

Also, even with pre-booking of the parking space, there was no control from reception of my reservation of parking lot.

Because of this, really consider to try other hotels in the same area.

Not a five-star hotel.

This hotel is definitely not a five-star hotel. I would rate it strong three stars, but not even four. Be aware that some rooms are dark and worn-out, nothing like the pictures (receptionist said there are a lot of rooms of darker design, but there are no photos of them possibly because they don't look as nice). However, when I've asked for a different room I was given one and even got an upgrade, so it left us satisfied. The price of the hotel is too high. The breakfast was nice, with a lot of options to choose from and tasty meals to order and the location is overall nice.

The Hotel Niebieski we found to be a modern and stylish hotel. The staff were helpful. There is a riverside footpath that leads to the city or a main road it is about 25 minutes. We did not dine at the hotel but we had breakfast which was nice, also the minibar in the room is priced very reasonably when compared to UK hotels which usually charge a fortune for minibar items.

Great location and views .

The hotel is officially 5 star but really its 4 star maximum. Good points are very clean, location as its close to town and the airport. The riverside location is amazing as we had a terrace view. Staff are very helpful and the spa is worth a visit.
Negatives are the breakfasts as they are ok but nothing special. We have had better in 3 star hotels or the Novotel . The basic rooms we saw are dark and basic looking so its worth upgrading for a bit more to a terrace. Overall very good and just dont expect 5 star luxury though as you will be disappointed.

Great hotel to stay !

The staff were very friendly , the location was good and was only 25 minute walk away from Krakow old town , however with many different transportation available it was no bother. The room was clean and the room service was brilliant.

The style of the hotel was amazing. Perfect location if you don’t want the busy traffic or noise, not right in the centre of krakow but transport outside the hotel. Breakfast was very nice in sky bar with a lovely view of sunrise and the river. The only thing was we was on the ground floor first room next to reception and the bar was situated there too. We had no problems the whole time we was staying there with the bar noise but the last night we did! We had early morning flight and had to be up at 2am, at 11am there was a group at the bar in reception talking loudly, laughing and screaming. At 12am they were still there, reception hadn’t told them to be quiet or anything it’s like there wasn’t a curfew like there is at any other hotel. That was the only thing we were unhappy about. Overall the hotel was excellent.

Decent location - but parking a real problem

Decent hotel in a good position, nice walk by the river in to the centre of town.

Beware problems with parking your car near the hotel - information provided by reception was incorrect, resulting in a parking ticket, which the hotel refused to acknowledge was anything to do with them.

If you are looking for a hotel with Spa this ok. A little distant from the center but still within walking distance. Quite close to castle on the riverside.

Very poor service particularly by one of the female receptionists. She barely spoke English and when she couldn’t understand our complaint she rolled her eyes and walked off, then came back and said her manager would come out. When the manager came out she kept saying something to her manager in Polish while we were talking to the him - and not in a helpful way. Our complaint was down to a drilling noise in the morning to which we were not informed about. Our room also had had flies in the room when we first walked in. Not an impressive stay and will not stay here again. Location is okay. About 23 mins walk to the Old Town. Uber drive will take around 10 mins.

Don't be fooled by the 4 star

It's a \"Premier Inn\" style but doesn't match UK 4 star. Fine for a w end visit to Krakow. A good 15 minute walk to town. Right next to the tram line so upgrade to a Riverside room for more space and much quieter. Worth the extra £25 a night.

Unfortunately it is not 5* hotel

The location of the hotel is very good and easy to find. After we arrived to the hotel we had to park the car in the basement parking which was a bit difficult to get in as the street is very narrow and and the cars parking at the street makes it difficult to get into the parking. The hotel was very nice and the beautiful smell of Vanilla was blowing our minds. We discovered that the toilet seat in our bathroom was detached from the toilet and we asked the reception if this can be fixed while we are away. When we got back, we found out that they didn't fix the seat and they just placed it back on the toilet.
In the night I accidentally knocked the glass of the night table and I broke it I picked up most of the broken glass and informed the reception so the housekeepers won't hurt themselves. After we arrived back to our room in the evening we could see that the housekeepers been as they collected the broken glass from the night table but didn't hoovered the remaining glass off the carpet.
When we asked the receptionist if they have any time slot available for the massage, she simply answered \"I don't know\". Me and my friend looked at each other as we were amazed by her answered and told her that the hotel information booklet says to ask the reception about any information for a Spa. After this she told us we have to book the massage directly with the Spa and walked away.

This works!!!

Hotel is located right beside the river where there is a lovely walking path. It's very central by car...not by walking, reasonable breakfast and if your early you can sit out on the balcony and you get an nice view because the restaurant is located on the third floor. However that is also where the smokers sit....and smokers there are. There is a spa but we never checked it out. It's called the Vaniilla Spa and the smell of Vanilla is in the Lobby when you arrive. This is a nice hotel at a reasonable price.

Wonderful hotel with amazing food

We thought this would end up being an average stay. We couldn't be more equivocated. Niebieski is a great hotel to stay and with amazing food at the vanilla sky resraurant. We couldn't understand why the hotel is not more popular. We were totally delighted with our stay here. Staff super pleasant and the hotel is fab.

Nice hotel next to the river.

This was a nice hotel next to the river and with easy access to the city. The tram stop is a two minute walk away. No 72 or 79 take you into the city or old town. 2.80zlt per ticket for 20 mins. I would certainly recommend having dinner at the Vanilla Restaurant on floor three at least once. Try the pizza too in pizzeria at the rear and enjoy in the garden. All food very reasonably priced. Breakfast is also a must with plenty of choice. We enjoyed staying here as you're just that little bit away from the hustle and bustle but in a nice location. A nice stroll takes around 15 - 20 mins to town. Staff very friendly and rooms clean.

A complete disappointment

We were totally disappointed:
1. Despite of a very nice garden / restaurant, the first and foremost absolute disappointment was the strong/dated deco of the room: dark, illogical, and subjectively depressed
2. Bedding and mattress were C-, old, didn't convince us that they were clean and fresh, they are something we rather not to lay on
3. Staff was friendliness was B-, we call around 11 PM asked for some ice, the answer was \"the restaurant already closed\" #$&%^

While it might be quite ok for some, for us it was a little disaster and definitely won't stay here again. We didn't bother to take any picture.

Great city break in Krakow

The hotel lived up to its 5 star billing, the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast selection was superb. We enjoyed dining in the pizza restaurant and in the Vanilla Sky dining room - on the terrace watching Wawel castle as night fell and it was flood lit. There was a very pleasant 15-20 minute riverside walk from the hotel to Wawel castle but not much sightseeing in the immediate neighbourhood. There was a local tram service to the old town also.

not bad option for a little out of town

Rooms were perfectly ok. Spacious enough, but beds quite rigid, lighting very dark, so not somewhere you want to spend time except to sleep. If we had an hour to kill we spent it in the restaurant instead which is bright and airy with good views.

Gym is a small room with no windows, air conditioning or water and had a limited equipment set all packed very close together. Nonetheless it does the job for a short stay.

Breakfast was the highlight. Huge range of food and drink and everything we had was fantastic quality, in particular the homemade breads.

About 10 minutes walk out of town, but pleasant walk alongside the river from directly outside the hotel right into town.

Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Overall experience was that it was perfectly fine but not exceptional, except the restaurant. Would stay again if the location was convenient, or try a hotel closer to town if that was more of a priority.

Nice hotel near river Wisla

We had a five-day-city-trip to Krakow, where Autumn coloured most trees in lovely orange and yellowish. We first stayed in room 419 and later on in room 212. Rooms at the streetside are rather noisy and room 419 in particular (next to a kind of machinery room?). Luckily we were able to switch to room 212, riverside. Rooms are comfortable, very clean and have tea/coffee facilities. The staff of the hotel is very, very friendly. Breakfast is excellent (I vivedly recommend the pancakes). On warmer days you can overlook the river from the balcony at the restaurant/breakfast area. Nice spa, open till nine at night. I enjoyed a facial holistic massage. It's a twenty minute walk along the riverside to Wawel Castle and more or less half an hour to the beautiful main square. By tramway it takes only a few minutes (dayticket 15 zloty - 3,60 euro). Tram stop in front of the hotel; a ticket can be bought at the kiosk).
The hotel is 20/25 minutes from the airport, a bit outside city center. When coming by car it's a good place to stay (because you needn't go into the more busy areas). In front of the hotel is a pharmacy and a supermarket (open till late at night).

Mostly pros, but a few key cons

Had a decent stay here but nothing more. Overall service was friendly and helpful. Location is great, a short walk, tram ride or taxi to the heart of the old town, but pleasantly away from the crowds. And it's on the road out of town towards Auschwitz, which is handy for that day-long excursion. The rooms are comfortable and clean but still feel a bit dingy, which I attribute to the dark carpeting and curtains. What bothered us was a strange general noisiness: we were on the street side (and the street noise didn't bother us at all), but it seemed there was constantly furniture being moved and light hammering and other bothersome sounds that woke us up on multiple occasions. Maybe because the hotel restaurant is on the 3rd floor and some floors are basically in the lobby. Whatever the reason, it was enough to lower our overall impression and happiness during our four-night stay. The spa is great - I had an excellent massage and used the steam room multiple times.

i really enjoyed my stay, came on business to town by car, hotel has parking which is convenient.
the hotel is located on the river with great views, you can walk along the river to the city center, takes about 10 minutes.
the rooms are big and comfortable, the restaurant upstairs had a guy playing piano for dinner and breakfast was great with much variety, fresh with smiley service.
i would recommend this place for couples.

Very good hotel!

Very good hotel with wonderful staff, meal and rooms. Located in 15 minutes walking distance from the center of Krakow on the Visla riverside. You can easily reach the center of the city by just walking on the embankment. Very delicious breakfasts with very wide food selection. Rooms are very good, fresh renovated and pretty big. Perfect room service and very friendly staff. Spa facility is also incredible (free of charge). Highly recommended pizza on the first floor as well as the restaurant on the third floor.

Great Hotel quiet location

Just returned from our 4 night stay and can recommend this hotel without reservation. Lovely breakfast. First floor rooms, clean and comfortable with river view. Short walk into Krakow along the river. Taxis cheap and plentiful. Ate in the pizza restaurant on site first night which was very enjoyable.A good hotel in a quiet location.

Incredible Stay - Highly Recommended

We had an incredible stay at this hotel the reception staff were incredibly helpful. The spa was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting. Excellent value for money for all of the facilities and beautiful views over the Vistula. When I next visit Krakow I will stay at the Niebieski again and have already recommended it to a number of friends!

My husband and I came to Cracow for a wedding, our stay was short only 3 days however we made the most of it. The weather was amazing, our room was located on the 1st floor as soon as we exited the lift we were able to smell vanilla due to spa located on the same floor. We were amazed by the river view and delicious variaty of bfast buffet which offered a sitting on the balcony overlooking beautiful city view

Cannot fault this hotel! Staff incredibly helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Extremely clean. Breakfast lovely with speciality coffees made to order at no extra charge. Restuarant food in the evening delicious. Al Fresco dining in the pizzeria excellent. Visited spa. Both my husband and I enjoyed a full body massage at half the price you would expect to pay in the UK. All in all a fab experience!!! Thank you.

Room air conditioners did not work. Had to change several rooms to find a suitable one and ended facing the street instaed of the river. Bed was facing the wrong direction so that no room was left for night tables and barely room to pass by the bed.

Hotel staff was outstanding and went out of their way trying to help and make up for the hotel defficiencies.

Hotel does NOT deserve 5 stars!

An April stay at The Neibeiski Art Hotel and Spa,

We were celebrating a family birthday and booked two rooms overlooking the River Wisela. We arrived very late at night, fatigued and hungry and received a warm welcome! Dinner was served in The Cellar restaurant and we had a delicious meal. Our rooms were lovely, very clean and each had a Juliet balcony overlooking the river Wisla , which is a hive of activity! Breakfast in The Vanilla Sky was a treat and the weather(April) was warm enough to sit outside on the terrace and watch the paddle boats and rowing boats on the river , while eating such delicacies as, smoked salmon, trout, tuna, an array of cheeses and fruit, bacon and egg!
A riverside walk provided much entertainment and leads to the old town of Kraków, a place of much history and Wawel Castle.
The Vanilla Spa is incredible, a Nirvana for a stressed, dehydrated body! Joanna and Asha were delightful young ladies and the treatments were excellent. Guests may use the steam room and sauna without an added charge.
I would highly recommend The Neibeiski hotel, its situation is ideal for visits to the spectacular Tauron Arena.

Wonderful hotel!

We loved this hotel and have already talked to our friends about it. Great location, right near the river and walking distance to Wawel Royal Castle. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was gorgeous and it included free breakfast buffet and free wifi.

Whenever I visit Kraków, I will definitely stay at the Niebieski.

THis hotel is cool--not too in center but not far either. THe restaurent view is cool over the river and their restaurent food was really the best i ever ate in Poland.But this hotel can't be 5star. For me it's a 3 ***S boutique hotel. no concierge, no help desk, twins beds are tiny etc...but staffs were really kind. but it never be 5 stars, I'm saying this after travelling many many hotels and it's my hobby:) We had to drag our big suit cases ourselves which never happens in a 5 star properties but maybe diff country..diff reality. But the price they offer you, it's still worth.

Lovely hotel by the river

A great hotel with good facilities and a decent breakfast selection. A 15 min walk along the river to the city - so not ideal if you don't like walking, but taxis are plentiful and cheap.
I asked for a quiet room which we got, but it would have been nicer to be the river side.
Room was supposed to be non smoking but did smell of cigarettes when we arrived.
Staff very friendly and helpful - booked taxis, dinner reservations etc

The hotel was nice with a great view of the river but it's a little too far from the energy of Old Town Krakow. I have stayed in this beautiful city many times but never this far from the center. The idea of having to take a cab or the tram every time I want to sit at a cafe or have a piwo is not an option. I will return to Krakow but because of its location I don't plan on returning to Niebieski.

My 5 day stay at the Niebieski May 2014

On arriving at the hotel, we felt very comfortable straight away. The reception area was pleasant and compact with very subtle lighting, which gave a nice, welcome effect. All staff were friendly & helpful. Loved the décor and lay-out of the restaurant. Excellent breakfasts, with plenty of choice. We had dinner in the restaurant too and again the choice, presentation & quality of the food was superb. What a nice surprise to find a wet room attached to the bedroom. A pleasant change from the normal bath/shower room. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Love the Spa

The front desk staff was very accomodating and friendly. The restaurant staff was very distant and not friendly at all. We would speak and smile each time we entered the restaurant area, and they would stare and walk away. It may be that they weren't used to seeing westerners, but it made us feel very uncomfortable. The ladies in the spa were awesome! They were very friendly and polite!

Nice, clean, new hotel next to river.

I booked this hotel based on gleaming reviews on Tripadvisor and elsewhere. Sadly we were somewhat disappointed. mainly because of the room we were given. I'd booked a double room with a double bed but were given a twin room with 2 single beds. We enquired about this and were told there was no other room with a double bed so had to stay put. Housekeeping came promptly to move the 2 single beds together but we had to make do with the most of the original bed linen for the duration of our stay as they either didn't have any double sized duvets or any that were large enough for 2 single beds. I'm not sure which.

Our room was clean and modern but quite basic and I'd expected something a bit more special from a 5 star \"art\" hotel.

The positives are good breakfast (according to my husband as I didn't have any), lovely main dining room with outside tables overlooking the river. Our room was on the river side so it was very quiet, the street side would probably be much noisier. We dined once at the hotel and both the food were good.

Very nice hotel, great breakfasts, excellent staff

We had a great time, beautifull room with a view on the Vistula river, the bathroom has a heated floor (nice), ever accomodating staff, delicious breakfasts in the morning (included), rented bikes from the hotel and took them all over Cracaw which was an added bonus, all in all great memories, I would definitely come back.

Wonderful experience in the hotel restaurant, their Italian restaurant is delicious. The breakfast which was included in our package was great. The receptionists were very helpful in recommending attractions and restaurants

Definitely not a five star hotel

The only good thing about this hotel was its restaurant; good food.
The hotel is located far from the nice old town of Krakow.
The rooms are very, very dark. I tried two rooms, and they both only had one window, and the interior decorating was quite dark. The room towards the street was noisy, as the hotel doesn't have double window glasing.
The hotel is sparsely insulated, hence you will hear music, talk and noise from the TVs from neighboring rooms. But worse; you will also get the smoke from other guests smoking in other rooms. That happened several times during my two nights, and the people in the reception just informed me that they couldn't help me. Not pleasant at all!!

Clean, modern hotel fairly close to Wawel

The walk from the hotel to the Cloth Market is about 15 minutes at a semi-brisk pace (take the riverfront route). The pathway currently has some improvements taking place but is still pleasant. The hotel provides umbrellas in case the weather is lousy, which happens in Poland now and again. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and very good English for those of us who have yet to master Polski. Room was clean and modern. Only possible complaint there is that there was not a lot of counterspace to store toiletries etc. If you can, get a riverfront room. I had a streetfront room, but I will say that with the windows closed the streetnoise was barely discernable. The wi-fi had good signal. Breakfast was decent - not outstanding but you definitely can get a solid breakfast to start your day. Unfortunately I did not visit the spa area so no comment there.

I would stay there again -- very nice place and good value.

This is a good option

Overall a very good experience and I will book here again next time I'm in Krakow. Positive: 5-star service, sauna, large rooms, free fast WiFi on unlimited devices. Negative: breakfast selection somewhat limited for hotels in this category, I believe I got a smoking room adapted to non-smoking, 10-15 minutes from city center might be occasionally impractical (but taxis are cheap and trams run often enough)

really lovely hotel, great for couples!

really great place for couples to stay, the hotel is gorgeous, right next to the river so although it's maybe a 20 minute or so walk to the main square it has nice views on the way. the room was always clean, staff were helpful although a little cold while speaking to them, but always went out of their way to help you. spa was really nice too, and the room service was from a lovely little italian restaurant, cheap too! i cant comment much on the hotels restaurant as we only had bed and breakfast but the breakfast buffet was ok, i wouldnt call it 5 star but i dont have any complaints about it. only downside was the double bed was actually two single mattresses and one was higher than the other so it would be annoying if you're a cuddler! but me and my boyfriend had so much fun we were too tired at the end of the day to really care :) great hotel would really recommend!!!

Beautiful hotel needs friendlier staff

The hotel was really nice and most of the staff were friendly some didn't smile and weren't too forth coming . Don't put let that put you off though beautiful hotel and great location with a lovely walk along the river to get to the market square

Perfect Boutique Hotel

The hotel is outstanding. From the moment you walk through the door, you know you are in for a wonderful experience, so different from most business hotels.

The room is spacious with everything just exquisite. The upstairs restaurant with pianist offers excellent food, worthy of any restaurant.

Most of all the staff are extremely friendly with perfect English. I was leaving before breakfast, so they organised a \"breakfast basket\". It was enormous: juice, fresh fruit, 2 yoghurts, 2 filled baguettes, and bottled drinks.

Really it would be hard to praise this hotel enough. Beats the big 5-star chains hands down.

Good Inn

Clean, courteous, professional.
The free breakfast is first rate.
Only lacking is a better gym .And they are shelfish with the towels and soap.
I was lead to understand there were coin washing machines, but they do provide a laundry service for a fee.
They also alluded to a manager's reception nightly but this was a teaser.

But the place is near Wawel, pretty view of the river .

Fint och bekvämt hotell med rum som var bekväma, rena och bra.

Vi hade farhågor om att det skulle vara mycket ljud från gatan men vi stördes inte alls av detta, trots att vårt rum vette mot gatan med spårvagnsled.

Sängen och fåtöljen var bekväma, badrummet hade både dusch och badkar samt bra hygienartiklar. Rent och prydligt. Allt var bra i rummet.

Det bästa med hela hotellet var servicen från personalen. När vi checkade in (runt 11.00) fick vi frågan om de skulle hålla frukosten öppen en extra stund för oss, så vi kunde äta och betala för. Vi bad även om att få ta med oss frukostpaket två dagar pga tidiga utflykter och vi fick en stor och generös frukostpåse med oss. Personalen var alltid trevlig och välkomnade med ett leende.

Om vi besöker Krakow igen skulle vi absolut kunna besöka detta hotell igen. Det är en liten promenad in till centrum, men vi varierade mellan att gå längs floden eller via gatan, och det avgick ofta spårvagnar (nr 1 och 2) ifall vi inte orkade gå.

Vi besökte spat vid ett tillfälle och blev inte fler pga tidsbrist. Vi hängde också vid flera tillfällen på lekplatsen utomhus vilket var väldigt bra för oss som barnfamilj.

Kom tilbage til 1980 erne

Hotellet har nok været et 5 stjernet i 1980-1990 men er ikke rigtig fulgt med tiden. Interiør meget slidt og 80 agtigt med specielle farver og udsmykning / spejle mm.

Farvevalgene ville nok være en del anderledes idag.

Spa var dog helt fantastisk. Utrolig afslappet og rolig masseuse. Dygtig og professionel og høflig.

Not good experience

They didn't tell parking area is located for each vehicle individually when we checked in. So we parked where we found space. Then some other customers warned us to take car from their space. Staff is not good at speaking english. In restaurant, they don't understand anything especially at breakfast. They didn't find any solution for lack of double bed. They'd combine two single bed. It's difficult to enter hotel with car. There is a construction since last one year all along the street.
