The hotel staff are the only “stars” this hotel deserves. However, I asked three times to have my wool socks returned, which I left after the first night when I changed rooms, and I did not get them back during the next three days of my stay, nor did I receive any feedback on whether they had been found. I asked the housekeeping staff on the floor twice and the reception twice. Apart from this incident, I have no complaints about their work.
The location is also excellent. However, the hotel rooms and the spa area are definitely of a low, 3-star standard.
The wall-mounted hair dryer is small and blows only very hot air with virtually no airflow, and it has a button that must be held down for the air to work. It was a real ordeal for me because I have long hair. When I asked for a regular hair dryer, I was given a broken one wrapped in tape, which kept stopping working, with the tape constantly coming off, etc.
Another issue was the shower, with mold on the grout and the ceiling, peeling veneer on the side of the cabinet, a leaky window through which everything can be heard. A torn desk mat, dirty carpets and sofa. I am convinced—actually certain—that the cups and glasses in the rooms are not taken to be properly sterilized, but are washed by hand in the room bathrooms. Disgusting.
The final straw was the bed. The mattress itself was quite comfortable, but on top of it there was some kind of “pad,” basically a rag that rolls up and shifts. I didn’t realize this the first night

The 1st room we were given was dark with not much lighting , also found a beatle like bug on the chair. The view was also awful, after complaining we were given a better room on a higher floor. The staff are a bit arrogant at reception. Location was good, about seventeen min walk to the main square.

Small rooms, but a decent hotel and clean. Only problem was, which was a huge problem when it’s a warm 90° day and evening was that the air conditioning was broken both days/nights making it very hard for me my wife and my young children to sleep. Staff tried resetting the unit at midnight then brooght me a fan because it was unmanageable in the room. I opened the window for 10 minutes to see if it would help and then next thing I see if 30 nats and bugs flying above the lamp because there are no screens. I popped the door open and placed the fan in the hallway at 2am to try and get some of the slightly cooler air from the hallway into the bedroom. I asked for a new room the second night to which they agreed but by the time we can back from our tour to Zakopane it was late and the room stayed the same for the second night. When we got back to the room after breakfast on the last day before checkout they finally had a mechanic in my room in the ceiling trying to fix the compressor. Good for the next people but unfortunately too late for us. Not trying to bad mouth the hotel the staff tried but it was definitely a rough and hot 2 night stay.

Hotel has just average but there is one glaring issue, the smell. There is an overall scent the hotel uses that smells of musk and it’s everywhere. Fortunately it doesn’t permeate into the rooms but as soon as you walk in the door it hits you.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the tram and the breakfast was above average. But the overall condition is just average.

The hotel had everything we could have asked for and was extremely family friendly with a play area for the kids in the lobby and a fantastic swimming pool.
The buffet breakfast was delicious and had so much choice. The hotel was warm and smelled amazing. The kids rated it a 5 star!
It was about a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the main square with lovely views out over the river. The underground parking was easy to use. Would recommend.

I loved the hotel and how easy is to access all the facilities such as pool restaurant etc
The place is just fantastic, the staff super helpful
The jacuzzi, sauna and pool a super bonus specially if you travel with children .
The food at the hotel is exquisite, breakfast has got a massive variety I have never seen before.
Close to the main landmarks and only short distance to the main square
Only negative thing, if any, the building outside the hotel but not a big bother in all honesty

The room was uncomfortably hot and the air con didn’t work properly. Roadworks outside started at 6am and were noisy. House keeping came at 2:30 pm one day when we were in and then at 9:30 am the next as we were about to leave. We told them we were leaving in 5 minutes and they didn’t return so no housekeeping/clean cups etc in our 3 night stay. We booked it for the pool but this was very deep and the smaller shallow area only suitable for younger children. They had made up a travel cot for our almost 6 year old and we had to ask for sheets and a towel for child. Travel cot stayed in the room the whole time. We would not return.

Overall stay was ok, average perhaps. Location of hotel is good and that's a plus. Found our room small and the air con loud and ineffective. We had a river side view, but it was tainted by road works immediately outside. Buffet breakfast was small and busy, we often had to chase staff to get items replaced or for glasses etc. Staff were ok, but a little slow and too laid back. We stayed for 3 nights, so the problems were inconvenient... We also had to chase for our room to be cleaned a few times. We did bring this up with management and they did offer us a coupon, but I'd rather of had a more comfortable stay.

Major construction on the road in front of the hotel. Taxis and Ubers couldn’t pick up or drop off in front of the hotel. Rooms were very dark. Not enough light. Bathroom needs renovations - looks very used.

Saving the Earth with \"drip showers\"

Wonderful hitel, very modern and clean with excellent staff! However its not enjoyable to take a \"trickle shower\" in the name of the environment. So a 15 minute drizzle is better than a 5 minute normal shower somehow. It didnt save any dolphins, just annoyed the hell out of us each morning. 😅

Next time I see a property with \"Green Key\" certification, I'll run the other way! Cheers

Would stay here again.

The hotel was clean and the staff were polite which are the two main things we look for. As for the facilities, they were adequate. The children enjoyed the pool and games room. I had an injury on our second day of the holiday and staff were quick to respond and extremely helpful in getting me to A&E and even asked over the coming days if i was ok.

Convenient location to the centre and it was a picturesque location by the river. Friendly staff and a nice sized family room with a river view.
The AC wasn’t easy to work with and we couldn’t get the room temperature low enough for comfort. The breakfast wasn’t great value for money as it was a bit chaotic in terms of people traffic and food items weren’t quickly replenished…but they were the only real criticisms

The location of the hotel was okay, rather central. However, we had to ask three times on three consecutive days for our room to be properly cleaned. They didn't refill the hand wash soap upon our check-in, even though we were charged 25 Euros for an early check-in, claiming our room was ready. On the second day, the bed was poorly tidied and the bathroom was not cleaned despite our previous requests. One would think that after bringing this to their attention on the first day, they would do a proper job later, but surprisingly, that was not the case.

The staff at the reception spoke very basic English, which made communication difficult. Sadly, this hotel did not deliver on the expectations they create for their clients. Major improvements are needed.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool was a winner, always clean and never crowded.

We had a lovely stay at Novotel before the holidays. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the rooms were spacious and had a nice welcome message there. The swimming pool, which was a decision determining factor when we booked this hotel, was closed, however. So that was a bummer. The parking was available in the garage below the hotel, which was convenient.

Location is connected to the old town, although not most convenient for pedestrians. Probably best if you come by car though. It is a conference hotel after all.

Long check-in: no staff at the counter, waited for two minutes until a bar staff, who had a bill to deposit, called a person across in the back office.

Executive room is large and comfy, as well as clean.
TV was not working (no signal on any TV channel, and the built-in YouTube app was “not available”).

We stayed 3 nights. The pros: the hotel staff were nice, the breakfast is very good and there is a play area for children my 5yr old loved.

The cons: I booked this hotel for 2 reasons - the pool and the location on a tram line direct to the old town. The pool was closed for the duration of our stay and the tram line is under construction for probably the next year. Also, the rooms are dated and we received badly stained towels (like with obvious blood stains). So not a good stay overall.

We would not book this hotel again.

The hotel is beautiful, looks new, centrally located only a 5 minute walk to the castle and the river and a 10 min walk to city historic centre, the personnel at the reception is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, many options to choose from, the bar was very nice to come back to after a busy day of sightseeing. Water dispenser in every floor is amazing a great plus not many hotels provide. The kids enjoyed the pool and I hope the next time we visit we can book a massage at the spa. Overall we had a great stay and will come back again if visiting Krakow.

Central hotel which was very clean, well maintained with excellent views of the Vistula. The staff were good but the bar staff were excellent. Friendly and accommodating which is welcome after a long day sightseeing. The breakfast is aimed at the continental market which is absolutely spot on so if your looking a full fry look elsewhere. The pool and spa are equally clean and we'll maintained. All in all a very pleasant stay indeed
